As they lowered the casket everyone began singing "Amazing Grace." before Dean spoke up. "No, no, no. Wrong song." He went and stood up in front of the crowd. "I didn't know Mika very well or for very long but I know she would have wanted a song that is less... typical."

When we all finished singing people began to clap. Everyone took turns hugging me. It was a very small service because of her lack of family but she did have a lot of friends.

"I haven't seen her in three years..." a girl said when she came up to me. Her brown eyes filled with tears. "And now she's gone. I'm sorry... let me introduce myself. Viktoria. I went to middle school with Mika."

I nodded, "Kennedy. Met her in the hospital."

Viktoria laughed, "we all know who you are. A lot of people think it's your fault she's gone."

I wiped a tear out of my eye. "I know," I whispered. I was thinking the same thing. If I hadn't been so stupid with my relationship with Azazel Mika would still be here and we wouldn't be dumping dirt over her box.

"It's not." I gave her a questioning look. "its not your fault, Kennedy. I know that if Mika had the chance, she would do it over again."

I shook my head, "My cousin is in jail. Facing the death penalty. And one of my best friends is in the ground. Because of my stupid mistakes. I don't see how that's not my fault." I began to cry more but just let the tears fall.

"You can't beat yourself up over it. It wasn't your fault. It was the dick who did that to you's fault. And you and I both know that Mika wouldn't want you thinking that it's all your fault. She would have died for nothin then."

I wrapped my arms around the girl and began to sob. She was right. I couldn't live guilty or this. I was safe now. And Mika did that for me.

"Now, time for some tunes!" Dean said and put a tape in the stereo of the impala.

"Welcome to the jungle!" Dean screamed along with the radio.

"Really? I'm not a fan of Guns." I laughed.

"Not possible! I raised you better than that!"

"Put on Pantera." Cas suggested.

Dean placed a different tape in the stereo and they both started singing, "can't you see I'm easily bothered by persistence? one step from lashing out at you!"

I laughed at my parents. We had faced hell together and we pulled through. Even after what had happened to me we were going to be okay and everything would go back to normal. Or at least as normal as it gets.
