Kamden slammed his truck door and walked over to the Chief of police in Clever. His dry clothes immediately turned soaked and stuck to him.

"What do we have?" He yelled over the sound of rain.

"She was dumped in the ditch and was found just a couple hours ago by the farmer," he points to the farm,"Who was getting his horses in the shed before the big storm hit."

Kam nodded his agreement." Any identity?"

Chief Heuwz pulled out a piece of paper with a picture and handed it to Kam."Paige Wilson has been missing for three days. No sign of her anywhere, until now." He looks down at the body." She's leaving behind a husband and three kids. She was expecting her fourth. Twenty two weeks along."

Kam looked at him suspiciously, how would he know?

He seemed to sense his unease." Small town, plus they were very open to the community, had bonfires and meals at their house twice a month."

He nodded that he understood. "Has her family been notified?"

"No we were going to wait till morning."

Kam looked at him like he was crazy, "If your wife died would you want to wait till the next day to find out?" He almost yelled.

"I'll send a deputy over right away.

Kam shook his head,unbelievable.
"No that's alright. I'll go with your deputy."

"Look detective or agent. My department is fine without you."

Kam looked at him."I'm going." He said as he walked over to the deputy getting in his car.

Addison sat up in the back of the car and waiting for the door to open. The man had gotten out of the car a few minutes ago. The door opened and the man grabbed onto her ankles, shooting pain through them. The minute she was standing on ground she made her move, she slammed her foot into his knee and he yelled out in pain. She took a few steps backwards but he grabbed onto her hair, she rammed her elbow into his face and he fell down with a thud.

She made sure that he was down and then ran into the woods.The trees shadowed her path, which helped and hindered. It helped because it would be harder for him to find her but it'd be easier for him to jump out at her in any minute.

There was a light a few miles away and she followed it, as she emerged from the woods, police cars were all over the area. She started walking up to one, right before everything went black and she felt herself falling into a abyss of darkness.
