I've never been so comfortable in my life, like seriously, this pillow is awesome. Warm, hard, yet soft. I wrapped my arm around it more, my cheek laying against it. Then I realized something, pillows don't move up and down. I start to open my eyes and I see that I'm laying on Cole, I attempt to get away, but his hand wrapped around my waist is preventing me from doing so.

I start to poke his chest, attempting to wake him up. "Cole..." I whisper. "Cole." I say again, but in a firmer voice. "Cole!" Now I'm getting annoyed... "Cole!" I shout and his eyes go wide.

"What? What's wrong?!" He panics and his hold on me tightens even more.

I probe him in the ribs. "Let go you idiot!"

He drops his head on the pillow and groans. "You woke me up at," He looks at the clock on my nightstand. "7am on a Saturday to let you go?! Most girls would kill to be in this possession." He smirks.

I ignore the last part of what he says, he's such a perv. "Uh, yeah, would you let me go?" I ask again.

"As a punishment I should keep you here..." Cole says with a sinister grin.

Shaking my head I attempt to get out of his hold. "Let me go." I demand.

"Say I'm awesome."

I groan. "Like you need am ego boost..." I mumble.

He wiggles is finger. "Uh uh, that's not what I said to say."

"Fine, you're awesome. Now let go." I say and he smiles in accomplishment while letting me go.

I sit up and lean against my headboard, he does the same. "Nice hair." He says sarcastically.

I shrug. "I don't even care about what it looks like at this moment..."

He chuckles. "Well, I'm hungry."

"Cool." Is my response. I knew it would tick him off because his hate of one worded responses.

Cole glared at me. "Get me something to eat or I do it... Naked." He threatened.

"You wouldn't..."

He smirks. "Try me babe."

See here's where the argument I have with myself in my head starts. Do I want to see Cole's perfectly sculpted and NAKED body roam around my house? Obviously, who wouldn't. But I also have to consider the consequences of letting him do that. Not only will my father try and kill both Cole and I, but there's also my brother who would never let me date again. Decisions decisions...

"Fine." I grunt out while getting up. "I'm getting you toast."

"I want bacon."

I turn around and put my hand on my hip. "Yeah well we don't have bacon."

He groans. "Fine."

"Such a drama queen..." I mumble under my breath.

"I heard that, cupcake."

I smile sweetly and wink, then I walk downstairs. Molly, Jack, and Jake are all eating around the table. I grab the bread and pop it into the toaster. "Where's dad?" I ask to Jake.

"He's still upstairs, so I suggest you get Cole to leave before dad finds him."

"Yeah, I'll try..." I say, no one knows the difficulty of getting Cole to do something like I do.

"My head is killing me!" Molly says, leaning in her seat and running her forehead.

I laugh. "Well it could be from the 12 shots you had last night."

"12?!" Jake questions. "Molly that isn't safe, something could have happened to you." He says, looking worried.

Molly just shrugs. "Diana was there to keep me safe."

"Diana isn't always going to be there." He states and then grabs her hand. "Promise me you'll be more careful." I look between the two, my brother has never been like this with anyone besides me.

I see the blush that's crept up on her cheeks. "O-ok" she stutters out.

Jake lets go of her hand and nods, returning back to eating his breakfast.

I look over at Jack and he's wearing the same face I am, confusion. I shrug it off and grab the toast, putting Nutella on it. Who doesn't like that stuff? It's like heaven.

I walk back up stairs and Cole is sitting on my bed... Reading my diary! "What the hell do you think you're doing!" I hiss, snatching my diary away from his grasp and placing the toast on the side table.

He just shrugged. "I got bored and your diary was out in the open."

"What? No it wasn't! It was in my underwear drawer you perv!"

"Yeah, I know. I saw it, in the middle of your underwear drawer. I already told you this cupcake." He says reaching for the toast and then taking a bite.

I groan. "You're an idiot, you know that?"

"Whatever Dee Dee." I froze at the nickname he called me. Years ago Jack only called me Dee Dee and that's when I started crushing on him. He's the only one to ever call me that and I'm sure if Cole knew that, he wouldn't like that name so much.

"Don't call me that." I demand.

"Why not?"

"Because." Pissing him off with one worded answers is so fun to watch. His face scrunched up and he looks constipated.

"You really know how to kill a mood cupcake." He states.

I shrug. "Whatever, eat up. You have to be out of here in about ten minutes."

"Why?"

"My dad will see that you're here and I can't let that happening." I say.

Though my dad trusted me, he'd have my head if he knew Cole spent the night without his permission. Even if he does think that Cole is gay.

He nods. "Can we hang out today?"

"I don't-" He cuts me off.

"Let me rephrase that. We are hanging out today."

I roll my eyes. "I can't. I'm meeting my dad's girlfriend."

"Oh, what are we having?" He asks.

"Well we're going out to- hey what so you mean 'we'? You're not coming..." I say.

He chuckles. "That's what you think."

"It's what I know. This is a family thing, sorry."

"Fine then I'll stay at your house till you get back."

"What's with you wanting to stay here?!"

He shrugs. "I have my reasons."

I put two and two together... "It's Jack isn't it?" I question, placing a hand on my hip.

He rolls his eyes. "Obviously."

I scoff. "Cole, go home."

He stands up and is still only wearing a pair of tight boxers... Tight. Like really tight. "Um cupcake, my eyes are up here."

I blush. "Go!"

He chuckles. "Fine." Cole starts walking towards the door and before he can open it I stand in front of it, my back pressed against the door.

"Get dressed you moron!" I hiss.

He chuckles and leans in more, placing his hands on both sides of my head. "Why cupcake, am I distracting you?" He smirks.

"No, but my dad won't like you being barely dressed and walking downstairs." I say.

Though, I honestly don't mind him being barely dressed...

What am I thinking?! I've lost my mind. No, Cole stole it, yes obviously stole my mind. What other reason would he be here in my room?

"Alright, I get it. I'm too fat to walk around shirtless." He fake pouts.

I roll my eyes. "Yes, because your abs are fat rolls."

He chuckles and pokes his stomach. "I'm obese!" He says over dramatically.

I can't help the laugh that escapes me. I bend down and grab his shirt off the ground hen hand it to him. "Just get dressed blubber nugget."

"Those nicknames are hurtful cupcake." He says, slipping the shirt over his head.

We both walk down the stairs quietly and I sneak Cole out the front door without my dad or even brother knowing. "Bye cupcake." He whispers before walking away.

I walk back into the kitchen and Jack is the only one in there. "Hey, where's Molly and Jake?" I ask him.

"Oh, Jake took her home." He tells me.

I nod. "So..." I say awkwardly. I mean, what do you say to a guy you haven't seen in nearly three years?

"Was that your boyfriend last night?" He asks, which surprises me.

I shake my head. "No, he's just a friend." I lift up my glass of water to take a drink.

"With benefits?" He asks smugly. I spit out the water all over the table and him.

"No!" I say quickly.

He laughs and gets the water off of his arm. "I was kidding!"

I let out a nervous laugh. "I knew that!" Lying oh so not smoothly.

He nods. "Sure you did." He say sarcastically while smirking.

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever, I've got to go get ready."

We're now sitting down at some fancy restaurant that my dad made us go to. Jake and I both wanted to go to McDonald's to meet this Lisa chick but my dad was all like 'that's too casual, I'll get grease on my pants' blah blah blah. So instead, I'm stuck in this dress, that I must say is super cute, but terribly itchy. What the hell is the dress made of? Sand paper perhaps?! Feels like it. Jake is dressed in suit pants and a nice gray button up shirt. The last time I saw him dressed up was Easter... Seven years ago. My dad of course, is dressed in the usual dress pants and matching blazer.

"When will she be here?" Jake asks while scooting down in his chair, getting comfortable.

"Sit up!" My dad hissed at him. "She'll be here in a moment, she just texted me." He says. Ah, my dad texting. Now that's something to laugh about. See, my dad is a terrible texter. He didn't know what SMD (suck my d!ck) meant so I simply told him what it was, service month day, yes I realize it doesn't make sense. Ok now this is why I told him that. My dad was grumpy that day and told me I needed to get more involved in school, so I sent him SMD, totally forgetting that I had sent that to my father. I know I'm an idiot. Anyway, he asked what it meant so I told him. I made up an excuse that it involved the school and I was helping out. He totally bought it. But it backfired on me when he sent it to his boss, telling him at that I was doing SMD. The boss had some words on parenting for my dad after, I also got grounded. "Oh look, here she is." My father says then stands up. Both Jake and I turn our heads to see a blonde women walking to our table. I instantly recognized her, she's my art teacher...

I stand up. "Ms. Gibbs?" I question.

Her eyes go wide. "Oh, Diana." She turns to my father. "Bill, I didn't know this was your daughter."

My father looks between us. "Well, I didn't think you two knew each other."

I nod. "We certainly do." I say.

We all take a seat.

Jake whispers in my ear. "Maybe now you can actually pass art."

I elbow him in the ribs and he hits the table with his fist. "Son, sit up straight!" My dad tells him.

Jake mutters a few colorful words under his breath and does what my father says. I snicker at his little tantrum.

"So Lisa, do you have any kids?" I ask her, trying desperately to start a conversation.

She takes a sip of her water before answering. "Yes I do. Two actually, both girls. Rochelle and Loraine."

I nod. "How old are they?"

"16 and 19." Lisa says.

"I've actually invited both of them for our Labor Day party coming up. Isn't that great?" My dad says, eying both Jake and I to behave and don't say anything weird.

Jake nods. "Fantastic." He says with a smile. I nod in a agreement.

Just as we finish ordering appetizers something happens. Something that surprises not only me, but my father. It only surprises him because, well, he thinks he's gay. Yes, Cole Meyer has stepped into the building. And he looks hot. His white button up shirt clings to him, showing off every muscle that boy has. The black suit pants makes his legs look longer. My God, if I wasn't such a prude I'd be all over him.

He strides over to our table, smirking of course. Unfortunately there was one extra seat next to the table, and that spot happened to be next to mine. My dad notices him too. "Cole, how are you doing?" He asks, standing up and giving a firm hand shake.

Cole pats my shoulder. "Diana here invited me, I of course couldn't say no to a beautiful face like hers."

I blush furiously, what the hell is this boy trying to do? Does he realize that my dad thinks he's gay?! Alas, I laugh nervously and go along. It's simpler that way. "Yup."

"Oh, I thought you two broke up?" My father questions. Both him and Cole sit down.

I open my mouth so speak but Cole cut me off. "She misunderstood what I said the other day. She thought said I say gay." He let out a laugh, and my father did too. God, my dads too damn gullible for his own good. "I said that I my aunt's name is Faye." He lies way too smoothly.

I nod. "Yup."

"Well, not that I have a problem if you were gay, but it's good to know that you're not. Having another man around is always good. Especially when you got a son like mine." My dad mumbles out the last part.

"Hey! That's offensive." Jake says.

I roll my eyes. "Pipe down."

Jake whispers. "Shut it, or I tell him it's all fake." I pretend to zip my lips and throw away the key then smile sweetly at him. Jake pats my head. "Good girl." He says smirking.

"Cole, this is my girlfriend, Lisa." He introduces.

Cole politely shakes her hand. "Yes, she was my art teacher a couple years ago." He says.

Lisa smiles. "It's nice to see you again, Cole. This time you are interrupting my class." She says.

Cole laughs nervously. "Sorry about that."

She smiles reassuringly. "What's past is past. Though I've never seen you with Diana before." She states.

No sh!t Sherlock.

She's on to us.

Before anyone has a chance to say something I speak. "Yes well, Cole here practically begged me to date him. I guess he doesn't get much of those." I say and then turn to smile at him.

He smiles back, obviously fake by the glare he's also giving me. "What can I say? Just trying to find the right one." Cole just might be the ultimate kiss ass.

"Cole, can I speak to you a minute outside?" I ask, well more like demand. I place my napkins on the table and he does the same, following me out the door. "What the hell are you doing here?" I ask.

He smirks. "I told you I was coming."

"Yeah, and I told you not to." I say.

Cole shrugs. "I was bored! Shoot me."

"Trust me, I'd love to." I mumble.

"Aw come on cupcake, you don't mean that." He says while slinging an arm over my shoulder.

"I actually do."

"What can I do to make you feel better?" He puts on his pouty face. God, that's my weakness!

I groan. "Cole, don't make that face." And he continues to do it... "Leave."

He shakes his head. "Anything but that."

"I don't know I really-"

"Ice cream? Yeah, I'll buy you ice cream!" He says.

"I don't want ice cream. Will you listen to me?!"

"I am listening. Have been for a while now."

"You're so annoying."

He then presses my back against the wall of the building and cages me in but his hands at both sides of my head. "I'll do anything." He says with a signature smirk.

Well, I've wanted to learn how to do this for a long time... And I know he doe it... So why not ask?

"Anything?" I ask, he nods. "Teach me to surf."

He raises an eye brow. "Surf?"

I nod. "We have a couple months left of hot weather, teach me to surf."

"Ok, I'll teach you. On one condition."

"No, I've let you stay for dinner, that is our condition!"

Cole shakes his head. "I would have stayed either way. I need you to let me stay at your house for the next week."

"Why?" I ask. He acts as if my house is some hotel.

"Because some things are happening at my house." Simple, but not so effective.

"Give me a reason. No more secrets!" I say.

He sighs. "You're just going to have to trust me, Diana. Please."

I pinch the bridge of my nose, trying not to get too frustrated. "Fine, but you're asking my father."

He smiles. "No problem."

"Good luck, it'd be easier if he still thought you were gay."

Cole scoffs. "You underestimate me Diana. I'm very persuasive."

I push his chest and he takes a couple steps back. "Oh I know." I say, then walk back into the restaurant.

Col just winks and holds the door open for me. How he will persuade my father, not even God knows.

After the dinner, which took way too long, I rode home with Cole. Against my will, if I do add. I got in the passenger seat and he got in his seat. "I have to run home to grab my stuff before we head to your house." Cole tells me.

"You're staying tonight?"

He nods. "We went over this..."

"I just didn't think that you were spending the night tonight." I explain.

"Yeah, well I am."

Ok, so I feel like I need to ask him this question even though I know that it might possibly upset him. "Why don't you want to be at your house?"

He tenses up and his grip on the steering wheel tightens. "It's better-" I cut him off.

"If I don't know," I finish his sentence. "I've heard it before."

"Then stop asking." He snapped, causing me to jump.

"Listen, you're stay at my house. I deserve to know why!" I shout.

"You know what? I'll just drop you off and I'll find some other place to stay!"

I roll my eyes. "Oh grow up. Just explain why you need to stay!"

"Diana, I'm not even kidding in the slightest, let it go." He says through gritted teeth. We pull up to a stop light and I open the door to get out and then slam shut. "Where the hell are you going?!" He rolls down the window, shouting at me.

I turn around to glare at him. "Away from you, obviously!" I start walking away again. Who the hell does he think he is? Well I sure as hell am not taking it.

He follows along side of me with his truck, looking like a major creep. A major hot creep. "Come on, just get in."

I shake my head. "No, go away Cole."

"Get in." He orders.

I turn towards him. "You don't control me. I'll do whatever I damn well please. Just go away, and take all your fucking secrets with you!" I shout as I speed walk, I turn into some random alley to avoid him. Luckily, when I turn he isn't there. I sigh in relief.

I keep on walking, I don't even know how long. My phone ran out of battery and I'm walking down the streets of Huntington Beach, well I think that's where I'm at, lost. My feet start to hurt so I take off the ungodly heels I decided to wear.

"Hey girly, you lost?" A very creepy voice comes from behind me, yet it sounded familiar.

I turn around and see that it's that guy, Tom. I met him earlier this week with Cole. Tom isn't alone, he has two other scary looking guys beside him. "Oh hi." I say awkwardly. "I'm not lost, just... On a walk."

Tom takes a step forward. "At," He looks down at his wrist watch. "11 pm?"

I nod. "I sleep all day and need exercise. I'm lazy." Diana, you could possibly get killed or raped and that's the best excuse you can think of? At this point, you deserve to die.

He smirks. "Are you bored?"

I raise an eyebrow. "Not particularly."

"Well I am, and you seem like a lot of fun." He takes another step towards me.

I laugh nervously. "Me? Fun? Pfft. I'm no fun at all. In fact, most would say I'm a prude."

"We can change that." He puts his hand on my hip, but I step back from his grip.

"Now, we don't have to touch to have fun, do we?"

Tom nods. "Yes, we do."

I shake my head. "Let's play a game. Do you know how to play 'Heads Up Seven Up'?" I ask.

He rolls his eyes. "That stupid game where you have to guess who touched your thumb?"

I nod. "Yes! Let's play." Ok, this stalling thing could actually work.

"What? No! I want to have bang you then leave." Tom says rather bluntly. Well that escalated quickly.

My throat goes dry. "I can't do... That." I croak out.

"And why's that?" He asks, obviously annoyed at this point.

Come on Diana, you can make up a great excuse. I know you can. I believe in you! Well, me... "I have a pen*s." Wow.

His eyes go wide. "You what?"

I point down... There. "Pen*s. I have a penis. P. E. N-"

He cuts me off. "I know how to spell pen*s!"

I resist the urge to laugh. "Then why did you say, 'You what?'." I mimicked his tone.

"No you don't, you were with Cole a few days ago. I saw you." Shit.

"Cole's gay. So am I." Oh if Cole were here he'd have my head...

"Cole isn't gay!"

"How do you know? Have you tried coming onto him too?!" I ask, faking shock.

"No! I am most definitely not gay."

I shrug. "I am."

"Show me." He demands.

"What?"

You points to my... Area. "You're penis!"

"I knew it!"

Tom looks confused. "What?"

"I knew you were gay!" I accuse and point my finger at him.

He chokes on... Well air. Hey, I'm impressed. I didn't know that was possible. "I'm not gay!"

"Then why do you want to see my penis?" I ask while crossing my arms.

If I really did have a penis, I'd smack him with it. Wait, is that a weird thing to do? Or even think? It is, I won't think that anymore... But of I did- no, sh*t Diana! Focus!

"To see-" I cut him off.

"How big it is? Wow you're a perv." I scoff.

"You know what, I'm done. Come on boys." He turns around and leaves with the other guys, mumbling a few colorful words.

Well, how I actually managed to get out of that is begone me. I continue walking the direction I was headed, not really knowing where I'm going. Hell, for all I know I could be in the next town over. You'd think I'd recognize some of the land marks, but I'm very oblivious to things around me. Hence me bumping into Cole.

"Diana!" I turn around and see Cole's red truck slowing down to where I was. "Where the hell have you been! I've looked everywhere for you!"

I scoff. "Obviously not everywhere. I've been walking with heels, I told a guy I had a pen*s so I didn't get raped-"

"You told him you had a pen*s?" He asked and then laughed.

I nod. "Yes, it was that Tom guy!"

Cole quickly had a hard facial expression. "Tom?"

"Yeah, I think he's gay."

His facial expression goes soft again and he sighed. "Could you please get in the truck so I can take you home? I've talked to your dad and he said it ok if I stay."

I get in the truck. "How did you-"

"I told you cupcake, I'm persuasive."

I roll my eyes. "That, you are."

How he convinced my dad to let him stay at my house is behind me. I mean, Cole must have some type of magic powers; it's the only explanation. Like what the hell is my father doing, trusting this lunatic? Now the sleeping arrangements are tricky... Jack is staying in the guest bedroom, and I told Cole he could sleep next to him since its a king size bed but he just flipped. So option one is out of the picture. Ok now option two is him sleeping in my bed, which I won't allow and neither will my father. Look! Dad can do one thing right! Alright, now option three is that we blow up an air mattress and put it on my floor. Yup, he's sleeping on the air mattress.

"This is stupid. Can't I sleep in your bed and just get out before your dad comes?" Cole asks for the tenth time.

I roll my eyes and proceed to get in my bed. "No."

He glares. "You know I hate one worded answers..."

I smirk. "Yeah, I know."

Cole rolls his eyes and lays on the mattress. Which was hilarious to see. He sat on the end and the top part went up. He finally got on it without too many problems. "Diana... Please." He complains.

"Shut up." I tell him.

"I'll buy you a cupcake, cupcake." I roll my eyes at his 'joke'.

"Go to sleep."

"I won't teach you to surf." He threatened.

I sat up. "We had a deal, don't you dare break it!"

I could see a smirk rise on his lips even in the dim lighting caused by the moon. "I will if you don't let me." I roll my eyes and get out of the bed. "Where are you going?"

I grab a pillow and blanket and then smirk at him. "I don't know, I was thinking Jack could us some company."

He glared at me. "Don't you dare."

"Why not? You can have the bed and I'll sleep in peace."

He got off the mattress, stumbling a bit. "So you'll sleep with him, but not me?"

I scoff. "We've slept together enough! I'd like to actually sleep by myself."

He sighs. "Fine." Well that was easier than expected.
