Hello there.

This is my first Fantastic Beasts fanfiction, and to be honest I've always wanted to write one because Newt is such a wonderful character, probably my favorite in the Wizarding World. After watching CoG on the 16th of November, this idea came to me almost instantly and I couldn't rest until I've planned it and written the first few chapters of it. If you're familiar with my book, Onyx and Sapphire, you must have noticed that I viewed magic in Egypt in a certain way which was mentioned throughout the story. So what I really like about Saving F. is that all its events take place in Egypt, so I'll finally be able to explore new aspects of the magical community in Egypt, not just magic itself.

Now before we get started, I would love to show you some pictures of Egypt in the 1920s and 1930s because there seems to be this common misunderstanding that Egypt was/is just three pyramids, a sphinx and a dozen of tents. I don't own any of the pictures below, and I'm not 100% sure that they're all set in the period I mentioned, but they will give you a general idea of how Egypt looked back then, and how people dressed.

Lastly, this story takes place before Newt travels to New York, so unfortunately the Goldstein sisters and Jacob won't make an appearance. However, I hope you'll like the new characters introduced here.
