The hench men closed the door.

I spat some blood out onto the floor and rolled off of the chair finally untied.
So the plan obviously is going well. I was not expecting to get the absolute crap beaten out of me.
Now.
The only thing that makes no sense is,
Why all this over Jinxy?
Like okay I understand getting life in prison isn't ideal but trying to ruin my life? Bringing my sister, best friend and girlfriend into it? Emma still knows nothing about Danny and there's nothing I can do.
There has to be something else though... Something I'm missing...

I pushed myself up against the wall and thought about the whole story so far.

Emma being a lawyer had to help Danny out of a tricky situation. He called off an engagement and the woman refused to leave the house they were sharing. This is two years after the Jinxy incident. Now I don't much about the woman but I'm pretty sure she was killed. After the court case she was never heard from again. Danny said to Emma that he wanted to thank her so he took her out for dinner. When they came home that night for coffee, that was the first time I met him.

I got an odd vibe but I just threw it off as being brotherly instincts. In the beginning he was just a normal seeming guy. A very hard worker that I never really encountered on my own. Something tells me he purposely chose Emma as his lawyer just to get to me.
And if he ever loved her I don't know.
It just makes zero sense.
Why all of this to get to me.
There's something behind it.
I'm going to find out in the next few days how. But I need oceane and Drew to stay away for now.

Oceane... What have I done? Bringing her into this... This mess. It's no life for someone as pure as her. Just me as a person isn't enough. She deserves better. I have feeling that that's not with me.
Everyday I love her more and more.

And that's why I might have to let her go. I can't watch her suffer.

But I can't do that... It would be to hard.

I have no idea of the time of day or where I am. The only thing that's giving me a clue is water. I can hear it outside rushing by. I think there's only one place that this could be.
