"That was Oceane." Said Drew as he put his phone down on the table. "She alright?" I said, widening my eyes as I strolled into the room. "Yeah yeah, I just found out some stuff about Danny from those old newspaper articles." Drew caught me up on everything and explained the whole situation. "So," I said standing up and adjusting my jeans. "Anyone that even looks at us strange could be part of the Sambello crew?" I continued pacing and Drew nodded. "Will Emma be safe?" 

"Look bro I don't know. Emma is with your dad. Danny cannot risk letting any more people finding out so she'll be fine. Oceane, on the other hand, is at risk." I could literally feel my face darken. " For God sakes. I knew I shouldn't of let her go." I started pacing quicker and quicker. "Look! She has a protection team! She'll be good!"  Drew placed his hand on my shoulder. "I turned around and went into the bathroom and got changed. 

"I'm going for a run." I said putting my phone onto my arm strap and placing in my earbuds. I saw Drew mouth "See you later." I nodded and headed out.

I'm that worried about them that I feel sick. With Emma not answering my calls and Oceane being so far away... It hurts. This is what a heartache feels like. My music flooded my ears as I continued down the path. I looked around at the faces I could see. Any of these people could work for Danny.

The woman, jogging and walking her dog.

And I wouldn't know.

I stopped at the corner and pulled my phone off my arm and called Oceane.

"Hey, sweetie." I said walking for a moment.

"Everything okay? You sound out of breath!" She said panicked.

"I'm alright Angel, I was just out on a run." I said smiling. 

"Oh okay! What's up?" She answered.

"Look, I just wanted to say, be careful. I know Drew has got you up to date but don't trust anyone. At all. Only Mia and her protection team. Even that's a stretch to trust the officers. I know you'll  be fine but I feel better just telling you okay?" I continued leaning against a brick wall.

"Flynn. I love you but you need to stop worrying! I'm all good! The time you were in prison I survived just fine." She said calmly.

"Okay... I know, I know. The only thing that matters in the world to me is keeping Emma and you safe, Oceane. If I can't do that, I've failed at being a boyfriend and brother."

"You will never fail at those things my love. You have always been there for me and Emma. Ever since we were little. None of that is going to change.  It's difficult at the moment... I get that. But don't doubt yourself. Not even for a moment. Because I never will. I know Emma won't either." I smiled slightly and looked at the street Infront. 

"Yeah. I guess." I ran my hand through my hair and continued to say "Thank you Oceane. I love you."

"I love you more." We hung up and I strapped my phone to my arm once again and continued my run.
