Kaitlyn's POV 

A week has past since Daniel, Ethan, Gray, Rachel, Nate and I have been hanging out. I'm not going to lie, it is actually fun not being bullied! When you hang around the right kids it kind of defeats the fact that I have been living at school for a week. 

Yeah, I would go the library, have an uber come with food, do my homework, run/work out, wash my clothes in the basement, and hide in the library until the next morning when I would run to the bus stop and wait for the bus. Ding. I look down at my phone. 

Rach♥♥- Guys, let's hang at my place 2night

Ethan🙈- NO! I am not hearing your brother and whoever the hell he isn't passing on is

Gray😩- Haha ik Ethan, we can't host bc momma dolan is throwing a party 2morrow

Daniel- I would say my place but it looks like hell and can't fit all of us 

Nate😎- What about Kaitlyn

Me- um, no sorry...

Everyone- Why 

Me- We just can't

Ethan- I'll figure this out 

Ethan's POV 

I went to the Find My Friends app and looked for Kaitlyn's phone. School. What was she doing there, honestly. We spend 7 hours of hell there and you want to stay for more? 

I get my skateboard and ride to where Kaitlyn is. 

"E-Ethan, how did you find me?" She asked tucking hair behind her ear. 

"The find my friends app. What's the matter?" I asked concerned and embarrassed.  

"Do you promise not to tell anyone, a Kaithan promise?" Kaithan, I like it.

"Yes, a Kaithan promise." I say as she pinky promises me. Her touch sent chills through my body, she is beautiful. 

"My parents... um, this is kinda hard, sorry," I nod gesturing that it is fine. "My dad is abusive and my mom is an alcoholic... I-I-I r-ran away." She was choking on tears. 

"Kaitlyn, I am so sorry," I knew this, the rumors are true. "You can stay with me and Gray, okay?" I ran up to her and gave her a giant hug. 

Kaitlyn's POV 

Ethan and I walk to Rachel's house for our squad's get together. 

"Hey, look everyone!" I hear Nate say, "It's the crybaby Kaitlyn, with her Sugar Daddy, Ethan!" 

"That's enough, Nate!"  Ethan say, "Enough of you making fun of all of us, you are only popular because you hang out with us. Daniel, Gray, and I don't make fun of other people! We are popular because we aren't the stereotype of jocks; we are nice to people! You have displayed numerous times that you can't be nice, so out of the group Nate!" Ethan pushes Nate out and it got silent. 

"And then there were, five." Rachel says. 

"Screw this, I am doing it now." Daniel says, "Rachel, you are a friggin badass and you're hot too! Date me or then it will be four!" Daniel finishes and we all laugh and record as Rachel says:

"I'm down with it, and I know I am hot!" She smiles and kicks everyone, except Daniel of course, out of her house. 

"So, what now? We have to tell Grayson, right?" She asks nervously.

"It's fine, my parents won't care. They can help you sue; if you want to." I say trying to reassure her. 

She nods, "Can we get my stuff from school, at least?" 

"Tomorrow, babe, you can my sister's clothes if you want." I tell her, I didn't mean to call her 'babe' it just slipped out, I can't hide my feeling for her. 

Kaitlyn's POV 

He. Called. Me. Babe. Oh my God! Rachel knows that I like Ethan and she is going to flip out when she finds that I am staying with Ethan and he called me babe. 

We walk up to a giant house, no-mansion. 

"It's beautiful, better than I have ever been in!" 

"Haha, it's alright. Nate's house is way bigger!" He says leading me into my room. He covers my eyes and pulls away. 

"This is where I get to stay!" I exclaim.  

"It's my sister's old room, she said it was to big and wanted to have a smaller one. No one has slept in it since, only when cousins come over of course!" He explains. 

Grayson is walking down the hallway, "Kaitlyn, I didn't know you were coming over." He tells me. 

I stand frozen. 

"Gray! Her family is not in a good condition," He yells, "she gets abused and needs somewhere to stay! Mom and Dad said that she can stay for as long as she wants and she can HAVE Cameron's old room!" He whispered the beginning part and screamed that I can HAVE Cameron's room. 

"Oh my God, Kait, I had no idea!" Gray said hugging me. 

"It's okay, guys. The rumors are true, I knew the whole time." I said giving a weak smile. 

"You are going to sleep with me tonight, okay." Ethan tells me. 

"Okay. Thanks again, Ethan. You are really helping me reshape my life and I appreciate it." I tell him. 

"No problem, babe" There he goes again with the babe, I like it though. 

'Babe' was the last thing I heard before I drifted off to sleep.
