The next day my alarm goes off.
I shut it off, take a shower, get dressed ex.
I head down stairs, and make some French toast when Keith walks in.

"Morning Melia."
He says.

"Morning. Have you seen my dad?"

"He's right here!"
Keith says pointing at himself.

"Keef, I said dad, not uncle."

"I kid I kid! No, I haven't seen Vinny."
He says.

"Wait, here he comes. He was out golfing I think."
I say.

"Oh god, in this heat! It's like 1,000 degrees out!"
Keith says.

"Keef, were in Arizona!"
I say grabbing a plate.

"True."

"Hey, morning Keith, morning Ripper."
Alice says.

"Hey Vinny."
Keith replied.

"Morning dad, how'd the game go?"

"Wonderful. I was thinking we could do something today."
Alice said.

"What?"

"Water park, since it's unbearable heat today."

"Yeah! That sounds fun!"
I say.

"Agreed."
Keith said.

"Where's mom?"

"Upstairs, never mind her she is!"
Alice says as Sheryl walks in.

"Morning mom."
I say.

"Morning."
Keith says sitting next to me.

"Morning Mr.Keith. Morning sweetie."
She says to Alice who's putting the French toast on my plate, and Keith's.

"Morning Hun."
Alice replies.

"Dad, does mom know?"
I asked.

"Water park? Yes, I know Melia."
She said.

"Ripper!"
Keith and Alice shout at the same time.
Keith, cause he's sitting right next to me. Caused me to pull away a bit, and cover my ears.

"Uncle Keith! Right in the ear."
I said.

"Ooh, sorry Rock and Roll's Snakebite. You good?"
He said rubbing my back.

"I don't know, I can't hear you."
I said jokingly.

"I'm sorry."

"It's ok."
I said.

"So, everyone finish eating, get ready and we'll be off."
