Ripper's POV
The next morning, I'm awakened to 'Schools Out' by Alice Cooper. How appropriate because today is my dad's birthday!
I get out of bed, shower, get dressed, and head downstairs to eat.

Sheryl: "Good morning sweetie."

Me:" Morning mom. How are you?"

Sheryl: "I'm wonderful! How are you Melia?"

Me: "Great! I'm gonna go out to see dad."

Sheryl: "Ok. Um, Keith didn't tell you he was leaving did he?"

Me: "NO!"

Sheryl: "Oh, Sorry. He's heading back to Connecticut tomorrow, I believe he started packing on Wednesday."
It's Saturday.

Me: "Oh!"

Sheryl: "Melia, I'm sure Patti misses him, and I'm sure he misses her. Plus, his dogs, and cat probably miss him too."

Me: "True. He probably has to go back on tour with The Stones as well."

Sheryl: "Yeah. You'll see him soon enough."

Me:" Can I go get dad?"

Sheryl: "He should be coming back in.....

Enter Vincent

Alice: "Morning sweetheart."

Me: "Morning dad! Happy Birthday!"

Alice: "Thank you Melia."

We hug as Keith comes down the stairs.

Keith: "I want a hug. I like hugs."

Me: "Here uncle Keith."
I hug Keith.

Keith: "Thanks Melia. Happy Birthday again Vinny. I'm sorry to leave on such short notice. The wife is starting to complain."

Sheryl and I laugh, and I think my dad is afraid to.

Keith: "Well, I aught to be going. Bye Sheryl, thanks for having me. It was a pleasure!"

Sheryl: "Any time Keith!"

They hug, and say goodbye.
Keith says goodbye to Vincent and I, and gives us a hug.
Keith holds me in his arms a little longer cause I'm refusing to let go.

Me: "Uncle Keith, don't leave! I'll miss you!"

Keith: "I'm sorry. Don't worry kiddo, you'll see me soon enough. I promise! And I'm sure Vincent and Sheryl will make sure of it."

Me: "Tell Ron, Mick, Charlie, and Bill I said hello, and that I miss them a lot."

Keith: "I will kiddo. Bye Melia, I love you."

Me: "Love you to Keith!"

Everyone says 'Bye Keith' in unison.

Exit Keith Richards

"So, what are we gonna do?"
I ask.

"Vincent has to decide where he wants to go out to eat for his special day."
My mom says.

"Cooper's Town!"
Alice says.

"Really?"
Sheryl says shocked.

"Are you serious, dad?"
I ask.

"I'm keithing with you!"
Vincent says laughing.

"Uh, did you just say..... Keithing?"
I ask sitting down at a bar-styled counter.

"Yes. I couldn't help it."

"Well, Keith did just leave."
Says Sheryl.

I nod in agreement.

"So where do we really wanna go out to eat?"
I ask.

"How about Texas Road House?"
Vincent says.

"Ooh, I love that place!"
I say.

"I guess it's settled."
Says Alice.

"Let's go you two."
Sheryl says.

We head outside, hop in the car, and drive to Texas Roadhouse.🏴
