Ripper's POV
Two and a half days later we arrive in Pennsylvania, and drive to my uncle's house.
About an hour later we arrive at my uncles place.

"Cool house."
Keith says.

"Yeah."
Vincent says.

"Just curious, is he married?"
Keith says.

"Does he have kids?"
Vincent asks.

"No Keith, and no dad."
I say.

"I bet you wish you were his kid, huh?"
Keith says.

"I did, I still do. And I'm thankful for him. But I have a family right here that I'm thankful for!"
I say hugging them.

We walk toward the door, and I ring the doorbell.
*ding-dong*

Enter Uncle Jeffery
Jeff: "Hey kiddo! How are you?"

Me: "Eh, been better. But still good. What about you?"

Jeff: "Oh, you know... still recovering from this surgery, and still having pain, but I did get to see you kiddo."

I smile.

Me: "So this is my new dad Alice Cooper, also known as Vincent Damon Furrier, and The Riff master, better know as Keith Richards or as I call him, uncle Keith. Guys this would be my biological stepdad, Jeffery."

Keith: "Pleasure to meet you."

Vincent: "Very nice to meet you Mr. Jeffery."

Jeff: "Thanks, you guys as well. Thanks! Well, you ready kiddo?"

"Yup."" Bye Keith, bye dad.. love you guys!"
I say.

"Love you too Ripper!"
Vincent says.

"Love you bunches kiddo!"
Keith says.

"Love you guys too!"
I shout.

"So Keith calls you kiddo too huh?"
Jeff says.

"Yes, but in all honesty it's much better when you do it Jeff."
I say.

"Aw, thanks."
He says.

I nod.

Vincent and uncle Keith leave as I prepare to spend quality Jeff and Melia time together!

As the sun starts to go down I unpack, and Jeff and I eat dinner together.

Jeff: "So what all did they do to you?"

Me: "They hit me an awful lot, kicked and punched me, made me do lots of chores, locked me outside and in the basement, and denied me food and water. They verbally abused me too."

Jeff: "I, I don't know what to say. I never thought they would do that to you."

Me: "Well, neither did I Jeff, but it still managed too happen, and it hurt me badly."

Jeff: "I can only imagine kiddo. I'm so, so, so, so terribly sorry that this happened to you. Why didn't you call me, or text me?"

Me: "I-I was scared.... they threatened me. I'm sorry Jeff. Please don't be mad at me."

Jeff: "Aw, kiddo. You will never ever give me a good enough reason to ever be mad at you, your a great kid Melia."

Jeffery hugs me and holds me for a while. I enjoy it.
After dinner, we went upstairs to talk some more, and by then Jeff wanted me to go to bed, so I did.
I got into my pajamas, brushed my hair and climbed into my bed. Jeffery came in to say good night to me.

Jeff: "Night kiddo. I love you."

Me: "Love you to Jeffry."

He kissed my head for the first time, hugs me, covers me up, and heads off to bed himself.
I appreciate all that he's doing for me after all I've been through in my past. I've always admired my uncle cause he's all always helped me and he's so so nice.🏴
