/Freed's p.o.v./

I had found Alex, and once I told him what happened he rushed back to the guild hall without saying a word. I tried my best to keep up with him. The worry only built up inside me every step I took. We bashed through the doors.

"Where is she?!" Alex asked in worry.

"He took her but don't worry we are going after them. Father or not no one takes out friend away."Natsu said angrily as he and his team got ready to leave. The thunder legion as well as Mira and Cana were also ready to go after (y/n).

"Who took her?" Freed asked.

"I'll explain all I know on the way, but for now let's go." Alex replied and we all left.

As we walked I couldn't help but start to feel the anger everyone else was. Which I found strange since I didn't usually ever loose my temper. Whoever took (y/n) is going to pay.

"So explain." Erza said to Alex. "Why does (y/n) do everything her father orders?"

"I'm not 100% sure myself, but I know he uses some kind of magic to control her. I personally think it's more of a curse. I know that four years ago after (y/n)'s mother died she started acting differently." Alex explained.

"How did her mom die?" Happy asked.

"No one knows. It was a mystery the case was closed after a few years because no one could find any leads." Alex answered.

"If her mother just died wouldn't acting different just be her form of grieving?" Erza asked.

"That's what I thought at first, but..." He paused. "She just stopped being (y/n) all together. She never spoke to anyone, not even me. She lost her light. She never smiled, or showed any emotion, not even pain. The biggest change however was when the used her magic."

"What do you mean?" Evergreen asked.

"Her eyes would go grey and she wouldn't stop until her victim was..." He couldn't finish the sentence, but we all knew what he meant.

There was a small time of silence.

"It's like she lost her humanity, and it was only when Timothy ordered her to do it." Alex explained. "When she snapped out of her trance she'd be so scared that she would just curl up and not move for hours. I can only guess that her father did something to her."

"And that's all you know?" I asked him.

"Yep. I heard she eventually got away from him, but when I saw her she said she didn't trust anyone not even me. She apologized and then walked away. I never saw her again after that. Till a few days ago that is." He finished his explanation. He looked down sadly. "It's a shame we were so close as kids."

"This whole thing sounds very fishy to me." Gray sighed. "I wish someone could just tell us what happened it's so confusing to string together all the pieces like this."

"Agreed." I replied.

We looked ahead and saw an expensive looking wagon on its side in front of us. A women held and injured man in her arms. We rushed over to them.

"Don't worry I can heal him." Wendy said using her magic on the man.

"Oh Thank you very much." The women said relieved as she wiped away her tears.

"What happened here?" Erza asked the woman.

"We were attacked." She replied. "A man and a young girl stole all of our money and goods, and then she hurt my husband."

"You don't think it was her?" Mira asked not wanting to be answered.

"Can you tell me anything about your attackers?" Erza asked. "Anything that seemed strange to you?"

"Well yes." The women answered. "It was the girl. She was crying, and kept apologizing. Almost like she didn't want to do it."

"We need to hurry before they get to the next town." Erza said and we started on our way again after making sure the couple was alright.

/your p.o.v./

Timothy had stollen a wagon to use for himself, thinking the big one that belonged to the nice couple was to conspicuous. He had the stolen goods in the back, and I was chained to the floor. He said he didn't trust me again yet, and that he was only taking the necessary precautions. Why must he make me do terrible things? I don't understand how anyone can be so cruel?

He stopped the wagon and came into the back with me. "We are outside the next town. How about a practice round?"

I swear I heard something almost like someone was calling me. I looked back, but then figured it was my imagination.

"Hey look at me when I'm talking to you!" He said and forced my head in his direction. He unlocked my chains. "Now come on." He shoved me out into the open.

"Excuse me." a soldier guarding the outskirts of the town came up to us. "We've had reports of some robberies, so we are going to need to check your vehicle."

"Kill him." My dad ordered only quiet enough so I could hear.

No but he didn't do anything. He's innocent I-i can't. "N-no." I said trying to sound firm.

"That was an order." Timothy said a little louder. He moved his hand using his magic even more against me.

I was fighting against him as hard as a could. My head started to ache. And I could feel a warm liquid dripping from my nose. I touched it revealing blood. "No I won't." It hurts but I won't stop fighting. Dizziness started to take its effect on me.

"Hey are you ok." The nice guard asked.

"Ugh." Timothy huffed knocking him out with his own magic. He than slapped me hard with the back of his hand. He shoved me painfully against a tree, pinning up both of my hands. "How are you even fighting against me?" He asked in disbelief.

There it was again I swear I heard that voice again. It sounds like Mira calling me, Cana, and evergreen too, but that's impossible I'm imagining things.

"What's the matter are you scared you'll loose your little puppet." I smirked weakly. "Maybe you're just weak."

He moved one I've his hands to my neck, it threatening to tighten and stop my breathing. "You are just like her." He said smugly. "She eventually was able to fight too, but she was all talk." He started to laugh. "That's why I killed your mother, and I can do the same to you, but not now you will do what I say." He let me go.

I slumped to the ground.

"Now do as I say." He used his power at full force.

I blacked out for a second, and when I came to the soldier lay lifeless in front of me his blood staining my hands. "No..." I said feeling tears form. I'm still not strong enough.

"Now come on, you have a town to destroy." He smirked.

"No no no." I curled up wrapping my arms around my head pulling slightly at my hair. I felt a slight breeze blow by. No I can't- no I won't- I can't do it- I don't want to do that again. My breathing became heavy and I felt like I was loosing control of my emotions. Someone please don't let me do this...

/Freed's p.o.v./

"I'm telling you I can smell her right up ahead." Natsu said as we ran toward (y/n)'s sent.

"What is that?!" Erza exclaimed. Up ahead there was a large whirlpool of wind magic.

"(Y/n)?" I questioned more to myself.

When we got closer we were shocked by the scene in front of us. Timothy was knocked out to the side, and the wind barrier was growing.

"She's in there." Natsu explained confirming all of our worries.

"She's the source of all this magic energy?" Laxus asked in amazement.

"(Y/n)!" Alex called. He reached out but only pulled his arm back in pain. "There's no way we can break through, and she won't be able to hear us. We have to do something fast. She's terrified, this won't stop growing until she calms down."

/Your p.o.v./

I was still curled up feeling nothing but fear. I dug my fingernails into my skin, but seemed to not notice the pain. "No no no I muttered. Not again please no." I was practically hyperventilating, and couldn't bring myself to calm down. I could here the wind whirling around me, but couldn't stop it. I kept my eyes squeezed shut the tears wouldn't come. All I felt was fear there was no room for sadness.

Suddenly I felt arms wrap around me. I flicked open my eyes to see the familiar color of light green hair.

"It's ok (y/n)." Freed whispered in my ear holding me tight. "You don't have to be afraid. You don't have to do this. You aren't fighting alone. You have FairyTail. You have me."

I was taken aback at first but then slowly wrapped my trembling arms around him. I felt the tears finally break free and I buried my head into his chest sobbing. The fear started to melt away, but I still felt broken and used.

The wind around us turned into a weaker gust, and then dispersed completely revealing the other members of the guild. I didn't pay attention though I just stayed in his embrace.

"Don't ever leave." I muttered and then continued to sob.

"I promise I won't." He whispered softly stroking my hair.
