Chapter 7 : Break in, break out
Exceptional timing.
Lilly and her two brothers were getting in their car to drive away, she was still visibly enraged. Jack and I dived behind the window until we were certain they were well gone. I rose to my feet and walked to the table calmly, seeing a piece of paper scrawled with almost illegible running writing with an address.
'Mark.'
"Sh!t, they got the car" Jack breathes out as we exited the house. My eyed trailed to the closed garage and I began to kick it violently, the panel shaking loose, allowing us inside. Two large leather blankets cling to two objects.
Two motor bikes.
"You're kidding" I laughed softly, fearful.
"If it's a way out let's get the hell out of here."
"I found an address, it has to be where they took Mark-" I handed the slip of paper to Jack.
"I know this area" he smiled, that glimmer of hope was back and shining.
With severe apprehension, we wheeled the motorbikes out of the loose panel, grabbing the two helmets beside them.
"We really do need a plan" I breathed out suddenly.
"Well, we can't hang around here or they'll come back. Take a breath, start up the bike and we'll stop a further away and work out how the hell we're going to approach this"
"Sounds like a plan" I nodded, fuelled by his confidence. "Alright, I'm following you" I called as I turned the bike on.
"Let's go get him back."

A long driveway winded up into a battered house no different from that of a drug house. Jack and I had stopped the bikes some time away as to avoid the engines alerting attention of the neighbours and were now on foot on the left side of the house.
I investigated around the house, and surely enough, the back window was slightly opened, enough for us both to enter.
A dark hallway, little to no lighting. 4 wooden doors and 1 large metal door with two locks.
"Gee that's inconspicuous" I murmured sarcastically, tapping Jack's shoulder as if to say follow me closely.
One lock, a chain, the other, a padlock.
"Sh!t" I whispered softly to Jack. "Be completely silent, check inside the door behind you"
Jack checked the door just right of me, I furthered down the hallway, opening the door quietly, painfully aware of the voices nearby who loudly discussed. A few of the voices seemed familiar but I had no time to investigate, we needed-
"Jack" I whispered, holding the key up which had been situated on the inside of the line cupboard door.
I pulled out my little grey torch and opened the metal door with apprehension, shining down a large staircase.
Intense laboured breathing could be heard from the corner of the room, forcing me to walk faster while still remaining as quiet as physically possible.
Mark.
He had no shirt, his pant were ripped and he was covered in blood and different colour bruising, some brand new, others a tinge yellow. His head hung down and his eyes were closed, with his glasses in damaged pieces in an open hand on filthy cement. Dark rings lined under his eyes and he was physically exhausted.
"Mark!" We whispered, voices breaking, tearing up at the sight but remaining calm and quiet.
"Mark, are you alright?!" I asked. He sat up weakly, flinching before he knew it was us. "Shhh, it's okay, it's alright, it's Cas and Jack"
"H-how d-d-did y-you-"
"Just breathe Mark, we'll talk later, you're alright" I reassured, hooking my arm under his to help him stand. He collapsed heavily, unable to remain upright. Jack and I tried desperately to remain him standing but it was dead weight, he couldn't render his energy to remain upright, understandably.
"I'm sorry but it's worth more than that, the deal is off and we want it back" voices spoke loudly behind the door.
"Oh my god" I began trembling violently.
Lilly.
The door swung open. The noise of rage was inhuman.
Everything became a blur.
They dragged us back by our hair, restraining us as we screamed and protested and sobbed and trembled. Launching us into the back of the car, all three of us quietly trembling and huddling together, unable to speak over the sheer unadulterated shock.
The house of hell. We were back at the house. And by the look on Lilly's face:
Hell has only just begun.
