Chapter 1 : Trust is danger
I was walking peacefully to my friends house with my dog, Bonnie, who playfully insisted on sniffing every tree in the tri-state area.
It was developing as quite stormy evening, grey clouds loom ominously above my head, and lord knows I am already terrified to be walking out and about this time of night, especially when it's like this. Rain cascaded down my face as I looked up to admire the glowing crescent moon, smiling softly in awe.
My mind wandered elsewhere, I wasn't thinking about my friends at the moment, I was thinking about my two favourite YouTuber's, Jacksepticeye and Markiplier, of all things I could have been focused on.
They hadn't been posting content or tweets or had any known activity on social media, and me, along with all the other people who are apart of their amazing community, were getting really worried and nervous, believing something was wrong, because if it was a hiatus they would've said something.
I all but stomped up to the doorstep and rang the bell, which sent a loud booming noise through the two story stunner of a house. Water was basically dripping in buckets off of my shivering form.
Lilly opened the door and greeted me, although she seemed a bit skittish, like a racehorse afraid of it's blinders.
"H-Hey! Come i-in come in!" She was overly excited. Understatedly a wild look in her shimmering emerald eyes. We had only recently become friends, and the unnerving look threw me off as I stammered you formulate a sentence.
Something about the way she was acting concerned me and I adjusted my stance uncomfortably.
"How a-are you?"
"Well thank you, and you?" I recovered coolly.
"G-Good good g-good good!"
She kept stuttering nervously, fidgeting and subtly looking behind me, causing a reaction similar to a fight or flight to build.
'Why do I get the unnerving feeling sh!t's about to go down-'
Two boys launch out from behind me, unknown to me where they'd been prior, and scrambled to throw a black bag over my head.
I screamed, yelled , struggled, kicked and fought, but the two boys had too strong a grip on me. I begin to jump and kick wildly trying to throw them backwards down the stairs,
I hear Lilly whispering to them.
"B!tch!"
"Ah ah ah Cassie, we don't talk like that here" Lilly snapped.
"Let me go!"
"Shut her up!"
A harsh slap, followed by the two boys throwing me onto the couch and continue to talk loudly to Lilly, demanding to know her 'plan.'
Holding me down as I thrashed around wildly, managing a blind swing into what felt like a nose. A snarl was heard and my hands were restrained.
"Throw her and her ugly mutt into the basement!" Lilly hissed.
The two boys ripped the bag from my head, picked my thrashing form up and hurled me violently down a small staircase.
As soon as I hit the bottom, my head collided with the concrete hard.
Ocean eyes drooped close, I could've sworn a shadow moved in the right hand corner of the filthy concrete room. I could no longer fight to remain conscious, my last thought consuming my mind being:
'What the hell was that?'
