Saturday. 10:30pm Mitsuki's POV ( didn't see that coming did ya?)

I sat in the corner holding katsuki protectively as he sobbed into my chest. My "husband" had tried to hurt him again but I got in the way causing me to get hurt."I'msorryIcouldn'tprotectyou!" My son sobbed quickly." Shh shh calm down baby, repeat that slower please..." I asked him calmly, running a hand through his hair ignoring the pain across my back. "I-I'm sorry I couldn't protect you!" He sobs and I freeze for a second before gripping him tighter " katsuki, I've told you, it's my job to protect you ok? I try my hardest to make sure you aren't hurt" I state,he nods reluctantly and tries to calm down.

Not a minute later that asshole shows his face again. I hold katsuki protectively and look at him, katsuki's head peaking over my shoulder fear evident in his eyes." Get up. go to your room. Before I make you clean this shit up!" He yells gesturing to the glass he shattered over katsuki's head and my back. I nodded and quickly scrambled up grabbing katsuki's hand and running for the room.

As soon as we got to the door I opened it and got him inside before going in myself and pushing the dresser infront of it stopping him from getting in. This is our only safe space...

Katsuki's POV

I sat on the "bed" which was just a pile of blankets and pillows on the wooden floor and hug my knees close to my chest. Mom does so much for me...why am I such a burden?! She puts herself in danger for me!
It's all my fault if...if I hadn't come out gay it wouldn't have happend!
I should just die it'd take a weight off of mom's shoulders!

I was so caught up in my thoughts I didn't notice my mom trying to get my attention "kat? You there baby?" She asks concern evident in her voice as she waves a hand in front of me "Huh? Oh I'm here mom" I say quietly looking her in the eyes and smiling softly.She returned it and lay down. I joined her grabbing the fluffiest blanket we have, which is a large navy blue ragged blanket and pulled it over. Mom grabbed another side of the blanket and pulled it over us before hugging me close, me replicating the action. " good night katsuki, love you..." " night mom, love you too" I then fell asleep
