Andrew had decided he would fight Nathan first, much to Rose's displeasure.

"Squirtle, I choose you!" Andrew yelled as he tossed his pokeball onto the playing feld.

"You know you don't need to say that right?" Jackson questioned.

Andrew glared at him as Nathan let his first pokemon out. Gastly was released and floated above the feld, watching Squirtle closely.

"Okay! Squirtle bubble!" Andrew yelled. The Squirtle nodded and fired a barrage of bubbles from its mouth towards the Gastly

"Gastly dodge..." Said Nathan as the Gastly disappeared and reappeared behind squirtle, "Now lick." Nathan commanded, the Gastly seemed to nod before it licked the Squirtle.

Squirtle shivered a little, "Now squirtle, watergun!" The squirtle fired a beam of water straight at the gastly.

"Oh no..." Nathan whispered as the Gastly started to get weak.

"Finish this off with bubble!!" Yelled Andrew. The Squirtle fired bubbles at the Gastly. The direct hit made the Gastly faint.

"You did good gastly." The Gastly returned to Nathan's pokeball as he smiled sadly. "Well time for my next pokemon," Nathan took out another pokeball letting a Misdreavus out "Ready Misdreavus?"

"Okay come back Squirtle" Squirtle was pulled into his pokeball, "Hmm who should I use? ...I know! Go Tyrunt!"

The Tyrunt comes out and jumps up and down, "Ty Ty runt!!"

"I know you're excited Tyrunt, get ready for your first real battle!" The Tyrunt calms down and looks at Misdreavus, "Okay Tyrunt use fire fang!!" Tyrunt runs towards the Misdreavus and tries to bite it with his fiery fangs.

"Misdreavus psywave." The Misdreavus fired a psywave at the Tyrunt making him fall down.

"Tyrunt you can do this! Use ice fang!" Tyrunt tries to bite the Misdreavus. This time the Tyrunt was successful.

"Misdreavus psywave again." Nathan said as the Misdreavus fired a psywave at pointblank range after the bite. Both pokemons fainted. "Well I guess this is my last pokemon...ready old buddy?" Nathan took out another  pokeball and a Haunter came out.

"Okay squirtle your back in the fight!" Andrew said as Squirtle came out of his pokeball.

"I'm not holding back." Nathan told him, "Haunter, shadow punch." The Haunter disappeared and reappeared behind Squirtle, he then punched the squirtle making him fall on the ground.

"Squirtle! Don't give up! Use water gun!" The Squirtle got up and fired a beam of water at the Haunter.

"Haunter..dodge." Nathan said as Haunter got out of the way and then floated towards the squirtle. "Now, shadow punch again." Commanded Nathan as Haunter punched Squirtle again but harder this time.

"Squirtle! Come on buddy you can't give up yet! We'll get this badge! We'll win our first gym battle together!!" Squirtle heard the voice of his trianer and started to glow blue. After a few seconds of Squirtle growing and changing, the Squirtle turned into a Warturtle. "Woah! So cool! You also have a new move. Okay Squirtle- I mean Warturtle finish this with bite!!" The Warturtle got in its shell and did a rapid spin towards the Haunter. Then he come out of his shell and bit the Haunter. The move was super effective and made Haunter faint and return to his pokeball.

Andrew grinned, he had defeated the first gym leader. Nathan gave a small smile as he walked over to a cardboard box and pulled out a small pin with a ghost on it and a small silver disk.

"Here is your Ghost Gym badge." He tells Andrew as he hands him the pin, then he hands him the disc, "This disc is called a Technical Machine or TM for short, the TM contains the move shadow claw, it's a very strong move so you're lucky to have it at the start, also you can use the HM flash out of battle, HM's are Hidden Machines, so good luck finding one." Nathan said, "Now who is next?"

Rose smirked and walked forward, "I will go next." Both Kaida and Andrew rolled their eyes at her confidence.

Nathan smiled and gave a small nod, "Alright." They both walked to their respective sides of the feld, "When ever you are ready."

"I was born ready! Growlithe go!" The small Growlithe sprang out of his pokeball and growled in excitement.

Nathan took out a pokeball "My other pokemons need to take a break so I will use my other three I guess." A Litwick came out of the pokeball.

Rose smirked, "Fire versus fire eh? Growlithe ember!" Rose yelled as Growlithe jumped in excitement and sparks of fire came from it's mouth.

"Litwick firespin, then confuse ray." Nathan told as Litwick countered Growlithe's ember with fire spin then the Litwick fired strange yellow orbs. The yellow orbs hit the Growlithe making it's eyes cloud over and cause it to move around in circles.

"Growlithe! Dammit he's confused, Growlithe come back!" The Growlithe went back to it's pokeball, "Go! Pikachu! Thunder shock!!!" Rose yelled as the Pikachu fired a small bolt of lighting. Once it hit the Litwick it caused it to faint.

Nathan sighed and took out another pokeball, "I guess it's your turn Duskull." A Duskull came out of the pokeball, "Duskull..... nightshade" A black crimson beam was fired from the Duskull's red eye and straight towards the Pikachu, the Duskull was a higher level then the Pikachu making it faint.

"Pikachu..." Rose had a mad face "This isn't over yet I will, WIN!!! Go vulpix! Ember!!" The Vulpix got out of the pokeball and quickly fired a ember though it was strong and quick the Duskull was still awake.

"Duskull...disable" Duskull was surrounded with blue magic

"Huh?" Rose was alittle confused, "Vulpix ember!" The vulpix tried using ember but it didn't come out, "What's happening?!" Rose yelled.

"Duskull disabled ember now you can't use it." He explained.

"Grr, Vulpix payback!!" The Vulpix forms a black orb in its mouth then blackish purple tentacle like beans come out of it and smack the Duskull making it faint.

Nathan sighed, "Well I guess its time for my last pokemon, go Sableye!" The Sableye came out of its pokeball.

"Heh, ghost types can't beat Vulpix's payback, Vulpix payback!!" Vulpix formed another orb and blackish purple tentacle like beams smacked Sableye, yet the Sableye didn't seem to take a lot of damage.

"Sableye isn't only ghost type, its also dark." Nathan told her, "Sableye fury swipes." Sableye nodded and leaped towards Vulpix and scratched it multiple times, the Sableye was way stronger then the Vulpix, so the fury swipes knocked it out.

"Dammit!!! Growlithe come out and use ember!!" The Growlithe ran towards Sableye and fired an ember at it, the sableye shook its head. "Growlithe odor sleuth!!" Rose yelled as Growlithe started to sniff around.

"Sableye, furyswipes." The Sableye leaped towards the Growlithe and scratched just like it did to the Vulpix but the Growlithe was able to stand up, barely.

"Okay Growlithe.... Reversal!!!!" Rose yelled louder then a Tyranitar as Growlithe ran towards Sableye, and smacked it with a glowing paw, since the Growlithe used odor sleuth the fighting time move was able to hit the Sableye and it was super effective. Sableye fainted.

Nathan looked down, "Another battle lost, here's your badge and your TM I suppose you know what a TM is already... and you can also use HM flash outside of battle. C-congrats? I guess." Nathan handed Rose the badge and the TM.
