Percy's POV (sadly not my art)

"Percy get up or you're gonna be late for school!" I groaned. I got up running my hand through my hair, walking over to my dresser I pulled out my favorite t-shirt; blue with a white trident on it and some blue jeans with my black vans.

After I changed I walked down stairs to be blessed with the sweet smell of my mother's blue pancakes, eating almost the whole stack.

"Bye mom see you after school" I yelled grabbing the door handle about to turn it.  "Percy wait! I have to tell you something" she yelled from the other room I stopped in my tracks and turning on my heel away from the door watching her enter the room.

"Yes?" I asked "When you were visiting Annabeth the principal called" I frowned "What did he say?" I asked "Well he said that he was going to expel you, but I talked to him some more and he pulled some string saying that if you make up the time you missed that he wouldn't expel you, and he also wants the reason why you haven't been to school. I didn't tell him anything because I thought it would be better if you told him." I sighed I hated telling people what happened because they start to act different around me "I know you don't want to and I'm sorry but do you remember when you told Annabeth that you got kicked out of the last school and she was so mad that she wouldn't let you eat blue cookies for a week?" I let out a laugh remembering that day but my smile faded my eyes filling with tears of joy and sadness, remembering the way her face looks when she's mad or embarrassed. "I miss her mom" I said trying to see her through the tears "I do too to Percy, I do too."
