I want to give a big thank you to FireRoseCutie for giving me the idea for this chapter and Millie_Astral for helping me redo this chapter. I didn't like the way I wrote it the first time so I changed and added to it. I hope you all enjoy it ^^

Yusaku checks her into the hospital and stays to answer any of the questions he can. Shing shifts in pain even though she's unconscious and whimpers.

While Yusaku is in the hospital Kolter is fighting with the Hanoi to keep them away from the unconscious Revolver. Shing is labeled as Jane Doe since Yusaku can't give the hospital much more then a first name. But eventually Shing does regain consciousnesses though she's in extreme pain and practically screams from it. The doctors try to help by giving her a pain killer through an I.V. but no matter what they give it doesn't help.

"He's mine now." Varis says with a smirk as he hacks the system Kotler is using shutting it down temporarily to get to Revolver.

Varis steals Revolver away from his hiding place while Kolter's system is down and moves him to the Hanoi base. Revolver reminds unconscious while a mind altering program is made.

"Specter, any news on the girl's whereabouts?" Varis asks as he watches over the progress of the mind altering program that's being made by Dr. Genom.

"Nothing yet sir but I'll keep looking." Specter says as he's looking at a screen.

"Does this girl have a name?" Dr. Genom asks with curiosity.

"I believe he called her Shing." Varis replies. "Why do you ask?"

"We can use her to our advantage even if we don't have her in our grasp just yet."

It takes Dr. Genom a few days to make a mind altering program. Yusaku has long since left the hospital and gone back to be with Kolter to track the Hanoi. Kolter has informed Yusaku that the Hanoi managed to hack and shut down his system as well as take Revolver, Shing is in pain at the hospital. No matter what the doctors give it doesn't help. She tries her best to deal with the pain but it's hard not to snap at the doctors and nurses when they try to help and ask what her name is.

After of few days and sleepless nights of work Dr. Genom has finally created a mind altering program.

"It's done Varis, the mind altering program you asked for." Dr. Genom says when Varis comes to check on his progress.

"Excellent. Specter, go wake our little friend Revolver." Varis orders.

"Yes sir." Specter says and gives a little bow to Varis, he was given the antivirus program for the Deleted Virus when they had caught Revolver.

Revolver is in a cell still completely unconscious when Specter comes in. Before Specter gives him the antivirus he moves him to a different room where he'll be chained to the wall. Once moved and chained Specter holds out his hand and transfers the antivirus. Revolver groans awake after a few minutes once the antivirus takes affect. He looks around a bit confused at first then worried when he doesn't see his friend. His fear turns to angry when he sees Specter.

"What have you done to my friend?" He demands, the chains shaking as he gets to his feet.

"You're little friend is with Playmaker, and you're going to help us find them."

"I'll never help you!" He yells.

Varis and Dr. Genom come in when they hear the yelling. Dr. Genom is a bit surprised to see Revolver since he was excepting him to look more like Varis but he doesn't. He figures Revolver is a completely different person and isn't Ryoken at all.

"I see you're finally awake." Varis says smoothly.

"I'll never help you hurt my friend."

"Come now we wouldn't hurt her, just think about it. With her we can catch and destroy all the Ignis then Link Vrains itself."

"She's been through enough pain and suffering, I won't let you put her thorough anymore."

"Don't make the same mistake as Playmaker by standing against us, we will get your little friend Shing and stop Playmaker wether you like it or not."

"I will not hurt my friend or Playmaker, I'd rather died then help you."

"It's sad, I had such high hopes that you would join us." Varis turns to Dr. Genom. "You know what do to do."

"Gladly Varis." Dr. Genom says gleefully.

Satisfied that the doctor has everything under control and will not fail, Varis and Specter leave him to his own devices. Dr. Genom pulled something seemingly out of a hidden pocket: a small syringe filled with some kind of blue liquid. Revolver knows that whatever he is holding is meant for nothing less than evil.

The doctor doesn't waste time. In a few strides, he crossed the room to the wall Revolver is chained to, having situated the syringe in his hand into a comfortable position. He stood right in front of his subject, the tip of the syringe gleaming in the light.

"This won't hurt a bit." Dr. Genom says with a grin.

Revolver tries to pull away from the needle, but he was already up against the wall and the chains seem to tighten when he tries to pull himself sideways. There was no way he was just submitting to this though, so he did everything in his power to at least put up a fight.

Unfortunately, Genom calls in Faust for help. Faust holds Revolver down when he tries to kick Genom away from him. He tries everything can think of but Faust is able to counter it. Genom merely smiles at Revolver pointless attempts at getting away and with Faust holding him down he's able to inject the blue liquid into Revolver's neck, slowly sinking the plunger down and down. The cold liquid rushed into Revolver, chilling his spine and causing him to shiver, much to the doctor's delight.

Faust lets go of Revolver, then he and Genom back off to let the liquid take affect.

'What did he do to me?' Revolver asks himself.

The liquid is slowly braking down his mental defenses so it will be harder for him to fight back when he gets the mind altering program. After a few minutes his head starts to pound and he take his visor showing that he's indeed Ryoken. He rubs his temples to try and ease the pounding headache. Genom and Faust are surprised they didn't think there was another Ryoken.

It takes a least an hour for the liquid to take full affect, Revolver tries to sleep to regain some kind of mental defenses but it continues to crumble. Being in a semi-conscious state he doesn't really know what's going on around him and is moved again. In this new place where he's strapped down but he doesn't realize it, being pretty much asleep. Under Varis's supervision the process of introducing the mind altering program begins. They have to take things slow or they risk mentally injuring Revolver making him unusable.

At first Revolver rejects the program and shows physical signs of rejection by twitching and talking in his sleep.

"N-no..." Revolver mumbles out and twitches a bit, refusing to allow the program to change his way of thinking.

"I thought this program was supposed to mentally weaken him." Varis says a bit a annoyed.

"Just be patient, you'll see the results you want." Dr. Genom assures Varis

After weeks of work the program finally starts to change Revolver's way of thinking or so it seems.

Revolver could feel something take hold of his unconscious mind and his thoughts become clouded. He twitches a bit trying to resist but his mind only becomes more clouded. Varis gets everyone to wait outside of the room Revolver's in while Varis wakes him.

Revolver groans as he comes to and is a bit confused, he still has a bit of a headache too.

"How are you feeling?" Varis asks trying to play as the nice friend.

"Confused, I can't seem to remember anything." The program seems to have suppressed his memories.

'This can't be good.' Varis thinks to himself.

With Revolver having no memory how can he get Shing if he can't even remember who she is?

"Does the name Shing mean anything to you?" Varis asks hoping that he's wrong and Revolver can remember who she is.

The name seem to catch his attention but it also causes problems.

"Shing..." Revolver says softly then let's out a small groan as he remembers partly what has happened over the past few weeks.

"Do you remember her?" Varis asks

"Yes and I remember Playmaker..."

Memories flash before his eyes as Varins and Specter try to take his precious friend away from him. Then Playmaker appearing and confronting Varis. He doesn't remember what happened next, only waking up in the Hanoi base.

"Playmaker took her away-" Varis says but is interpreted.

"He took her away from you because you're trying to use her." Revolver counters seeming to come back to his senses.

"Do you really believe that?"

"She's not here so Playmaker must have taken her to stop you."

"But we're trying to help her, I'm sure you've noticed the pain she's in." Varis says hoping that he'll be able to trigger the new way of thinking

"I have..." Revolver stiffens, holding the right side of his head as pain rips through him.

Vrains smirks seeing how the program they've been using on him is starting to conflict his thoughts

"Give in, it won't hurt a bit. You do want to find Shing, don't you?" Varis says in a caring voice.

"Shing..." Revolver says with longing in his voice. his eyes have a hazy look to them and they change to an aqua blue green color.

"Yes don't you want to get her out of Playmaker's clutches?" Varis keeps his voice calm and caring, gently trying to push Revolver into giving in.

"No Playmaker took her away to protect her!" Revolver shakes his head trying to sort out his conflicting thoughts, his eyes going back to their light gray color. Pain still ripping through his head but he keeps himself from making a sound.

Varis smirks as Revolver continues to resist but he can tell he's slipping. Revolver is beginning to believe what Varis is telling him.

"No he took her away from you, he's being used by the Dark Ignis who wants to use your friend. He sees the abilities she has and wants to use them for himself." Vrais says making Playmaker and Ai the villains instead of the Hanoi.

Revolver's thoughts become conflicted even more making his headache worse, he takes off his helmet that cloves most of his face to rub his temples to ease the pain giving away that he's really Ryoken Kogami.

"Playmaker wouldn't do that..." Ryoken says with doubt his voice.

"You're friend Shing would be here beside you right now if it wasn't for him." Dr. Genom says as he comes into the room. "You're friend was taken because of him."

"N-no, you're lying." Still Ryoken tries to clear his hazed over mind but fails, he can barely remember anything that happened to him before he was given that first needle.

"I watched as Playmaker took her, she was crying and screaming for someone to save her." Varis says in a matter of fact way.

Varis's words take form in Ryoken's mind, he can picture his dear friend in pain because of Playmaker and Ai.

"Help us put an end to their reign of terror, and we can help you get your friend Shing back." Varis says in a caring tone

Ryoken is silent for a moment, he can feel the last clear spaces of his mind fog over. Varis and Dr. Genom watch as Ryoken's eyes haze over completely and turn back to that aqua blue green color before turning to their normal color again. With his mind weakened from struggling thoughts he passes out.

"We have him right where we want him now." Varis says with a smirk.

It takes a few hours for Ryoken to regain consciousness but he seems to be okay and out of pain. Varis is there to greet him when he wakes up.

"How are we feeling?" Varis asks.

"I feel fine." Ryoken says as he sits up, "Though a bit dizzy."

"Then relax, there's no need to rush into anything. But I must ask you a question."

"What is it?"

"Are you willing to fight against Playmaker and the Dark Ignis to get your friend back?"

"Of course, what must I do to put an end to them?" Ryoken says as he puts his mask back on his face when his dizziness subsides a bit.

Varis has a smirk on his face seeing that Revolver is now on his side, Specter comes in and informs Vrains that he has found Shing.

"Where is she Specter?" Revolver asks hopeful that his friend is okay.

"She's in the hospital on the north side of town." Specter says.

"Now is your chance to get your friend back. Playmaker doesn't know of this place so he'll never be able to hurt her again" Varis says with fake care in his voice.

"I'll be back right away with her." Revolver says as he gets to his feet and logs out of Link Vrains.

Revolver appears in the real word as Ryoken and his duel disk picks up a message from Specter on what hospital to go to. Ryoken follows the instructions in the message and goes to the hospital that Shing is at.

Shing is still in pain and the I.V. has been taken out since it wasn't helping. The poor girl curls up in a ball holding her head in pain, wishing for it all to stop. Ryokan sneak into the hospital and walks right past the front desk when no one is watching and right up to his friend's room.
