Part 3 - Encountering the new enemies

Alright. I'll set an schedule update for this one, so I can push myself a little bit more. Enjoy ^.^
—————————————————————

He was like an annoying bee in the lower part of your body, like a lost dog following you everywhere. He even followed me to the restrooms, silently waiting next to the exit until I was finished.

I sighed, tiredly placing my forehead on the table. The last hour was with mister Dennis, and as he said the other day he gave us a papers with like hundreds of questions.

Maybe if that annoyance let me sell the drugs yesterday, I would have had a time to study for this exam. I haven't slept many hours, I'm just so tired.

"You have last 5 minutes."

The voice of my teacher made me raise my head. Just to check that the pair of eyes I felt the whole time was his, I looked behind me. My bodyguard was sitting in the last seat, being expressionless once again, like a man playing a master poker game. I quickly looked back down at my papers, avoiding his eyes.

Is he really going to follow me everywhere? Focus, Ryan!

As I didn't know most answers, I tried to fill them at least, so I didn't look so stupid. The bell rang through the class and I sighed once again.

Maybe he'll give us a chance to fix our grades later?

I watched our teacher to collect everybody's papers, even mine, without any other words. I slowly stood up, as most of my classmates already ran out of the room. Putting my stuff into the bag, I was the last one left.

Maybe I could get lost within the crowd of students. This is my opportunity.

I throw my backpack on back, fixing it, and then fast walked out of the room. As I predicted the hallway was full of people. I didn't want to waste my time, as I heard him walking behind me, so I quickly blended into the crowd, quickly walking through them.

After few seconds, I looked behind me, hiding behind the pillar. I saw my bodyguard walk straight, pass by me, and continued with an anger down by the hall. I chuckled to myself, when somebody grabbed me and I was being thrown out through to door.

I was in the classroom, my eyes landed on three people. The two men I hadn't seen in my life, the third one was Mike. My brain started to work immediately, my muscles twitching to just run away from this situation when I noticed the bats in their hands.

Shit.

"Where's my portion?" Mine asked me, his voice desperate.

His hands were uncontrollably shaking, and I knew he was consumed by the urge to have another drugs.

"Brought friends this time, huh? Were you too scared to face me alone?" I taunted him, covering my nervousness behind my voice.

I wasn't a fighter, nor did I have any superpowers, but I was smart and I knew I had to get away from them. I knew too well I had no chance of winning, especially against three people with weapons.

The biggest problem was that Mike was standing right in the door, in my only way out.

"Shut the fuck up! Grab him," he growled, and I was being grabbed by two arms.

I didn't even defend myself, knowing there was no point, and I tried to save my energy for the escape. They opened my backpack, trying to find what they were looking for.

"He has nothing in there," one of them informed disappointed, making me smile.

"There are books and notebooks, some pens and pencils," I mocked them, praying Mike would move his ass.

Mike finally stepped towards me, his left eye twitching. I felt pain blasting from my cheek, as his fist hit me. He grabbed me by my chin, forcing me to look into his eyes, which I did fearlessly, even though my heart wanted to jump out of my chest.

"I want my drugs, Ohmwrecker," he growled at me, and I felt blood in my mouth.

I spat at him, watching blood mixed with my saliva end up on his face. He was furiously mad, wiping off his face.

"Find another seller, Mike. Me and you are done," I whispered.

Using the moment of surprise, I wiggled out their grip. I quickly pushed Mike out of my way and ran back to the school.

"Catch him!" I heard behind me, filling me with more strength to run.

The hallway wasn't as full as a few minutes ago, and as I took the left turn I bumped into somebody. The hit sent me directly to the ground, and the footsteps were coming closer.

I looked up, seeing my bodyguard. Not sure if I was happy to see him or not, I quickly stood up. He opened his mouth to say something, but I quickly hid into the half opened locker right next to him.

I heard the footsteps, which stopped right in front of the locker I was in. I tried to calm my breathing, fearing I was too loud.

"Looking for somebody?" My bodyguard asked, his voice expressionless once again.

"N-no, sir," Mike replied quickly, and they all ran away.

I exhaled in relief, still trying to catch my breath, when the locker door opened and I was pulled out. My bodyguard was holding me by the collar of my shirt, his brown eyes once again filled with anger.

"I wanted to sell you out. You don't even know how much I wanted," he whispers, before dragging me with him.

"Let go off me," I screamed annoyed.

I tried to defend myself, when we ended up in the restrooms, where he let me go. I fixed my clothes, confusedly looking at him.

"Stay still," he commanded, stepping towards me with a cloth he previously soaked in the water.

"Get your hands off of me," I growled, and get rid of his hand, when he grabbed my wrist.

I stepped back from him, hitting the wall once again. I just wanted to go home and take a rest for today.

"I said stay still," he repeated once again, grabbing my chin the same way Mike did, but in more gentle way.

"Are you being bullied?" He asked me, while wiping off the blood of my face.

I avoided his gaze, looking behind him in stubbornness. I didn't want him to know any of my weakness, and being taken care like this was just the sign of my defeat.

"Answer me," he demanded with firm voice, and I rolled my eyes.

"I'm not," I replied silently, when he stepped away from me.

"They were after you. What did you do to them?" He asked again, but I was already freed from his presence.

Nobody can know about me being in drug gang. That would kill my dad instantly.

"Nothing. I'm going home," I replied, walking out of the restrooms.

I knew he was behind me, but I was really glad that he didn't continued with another questions. When I left the building, I saw familiar faces waiting for me.

"Mini," I smiled at him, walking towards them, and he nodded.

"Haven't seen you in a while, Ryan," Gorilla grinned at me.

I looked behind me, seeing my bodyguard leaned against the wall of the school, scanning the two of people I was talking with, but he was keeping the distance.

"What's going on? Did something happen?" I asked them with concerns.

"We have a new blood. His name's Evan," Mini answered me, and I knew what that meant.

I can't go! Luke is glued to me.

"I'm sorry, I can't go with you. I'm so tired and I need to sleep," I lied, feeling down.

"Shame. Are you sure?" Gorilla asked me, and I nodded.

"Thanks though. At least send me pictures of him," I smiled at them, watching them get into the car and drive off.

"They were nobody," I said aloud, when I saw my bodyguard stoping next to me.

"I didn't asked," he replied.

"But I know you wanted to."

"I have my car right over there. You can either come with me or walk by yourself. But know I'll be watching you," he informed me, and I sighed, tired from this day.

"Just drive me home."
