WOW. WHAT A DUMP.
The drive from Windsor to the Feldman estate took two and a half hours, and the ride was full of music, laughter, and arguments about classic movies. While Derek and Sidney were ahead on the road in his car, Mickey was behind the wheel of Adeline's as she read off directions to him from time to time. They'd stopped for snacks before getting started and settled in for the mini roadtrip. Adeline wished she could've had the top down on her car, but it was far too cold for that.
And soon, they finally reached the road she'd grown up on. Mickey marveled at the fact that they had a huge, iron front gate with automatic doors that opened up for them. Then he had to drive down a half-mile long driveway before spotting the three story house that could only be described as a mansion.
Mickey let out a low whistle as he slowly followed Derek to the garage around the side of it. "Am I gonna end up a trophy husband?"
Adeline just giggled, her cheeks heating up at the thought of marrying Mickey — maybe they hadn't been together long, but she could certainly picture a long life with him. She hoped it was a long one, at least.
"Well, at least until your director career takes off," she teased. "Might take a few years."
Once the cars were parked and they all got their bags from the vehicles, Derek and Adeline led them through the garage entrance to the house. That led to the laundry room which led to a hallway that led to the kitchen that led to the foyer — Mickey and Sidney shared a look, knowing the official tour would be a long one.
But first, they had to meet Mr. and Mrs. Feldman, who were waiting for them by the huge, grand staircase that led up to the second and third floors.
Mickey felt like he was looking at carbon copies of Derek and Adeline. Mr. Feldman was tall and wearing a nice, crisp shirt with slacks and a tie. He had the same, neatly combed, dark blonde hair as Derek and bright blue eyes. And Mrs. Feldman had blonde hair, not a curled strand out of place as she stood there in a nice dress that Sidney suspected was designer and quite expensive.
"Hi, Daddy!" Adeline said, going to hug her father first as Derek went to their mother.
"Welcome back, Sweetie," Mr. Feldman said. "We missed you horribly."
"Wish you'd come home more," Mrs. Feldman said, reaching up to fix some of Derek's out of place hair. Then the twins swapped, hugging the other parent.
"Now," Adeline said, holding her mother's hand as she faced a nervous Sidney and Mickey. "Meet our friends from school — Sidney Prescott and Mickey Altieri."
"Well, they're more than friends from what it sounds like on your phone calls," Mrs. Feldman said teasingly while grinning.
"It's nice to meet you, Mr. and Mrs. Feldman," Mickey said, stepping forward.
"Oh, call me Leo," Mr. Feldman said while shaking Mickey's hand.
"And I'm Penelope," his wife said, smiling warmly at Sidney, who nodded her head. "We're so pleased to have you. We've heard nothing but great things from the twins."
"Really?" Mickey said in a teasing tone. "Even about me?"
Adeline rolled her eyes playfully and went to his side. "I do like your company most of the time, much to everyone's surprise."
"You'll note she didn't say all of the time," Sidney joked.
"Come on," Adeline said to them. "Der and I can show you where you're gonna be sleeping."
Derek and Mickey were kind enough to get their own suitcase along with their respective girlfriends, and Adeline led the group up the stairs as Leo and Penelope went their own way. And as they made their way through the house, Adeline and Derek pointed out different important locations like bathrooms — of which there were many — and the places like the living room and dining room. Finally, they reached Sidney's room, which was conveniently located near Derek's room.
Actually, their parents prepared the rooms for Sidney to be in the room next to Adeline's and Mickey next to Derek's, but what they didn't know wouldn't hurt them.
Once Sidney and Derek were dropped off, Adeline led Mickey down the hallway, taking her bag so that she could hold his fingertips as they went. "That's my room," she said, nodding to a door that had pictures of her and her high school friends taped to the outside. Then she opened up the room next to it. "And your room."
Mickey looked around, impressed by the room that was almost twice as big as his shared dorm room back at Windsor, a huge bed in the center of it. "Wow. What a dump," he said sarcastically.
Adeline giggled and pulled him into the room, letting him set his suitcase down. "Bathroom's attached. It's a comfortable bed, but they don't exactly do bed checks if you wanna come over to mine during the night. Unless you'd get sick of me," she said, a pout on her lips. "Might want a break from me."
"If I wanted a break from you, I wouldn't have followed you home for two and a half weeks, Princess," he said, wrapping his arms around her waist, holding her. "If anything, you'll be sick of me by the end of this."
"Or Der and Sid are just sick of us in general."
"Yeah, that sounds more likely."

"Oh, fuck me."
"Dude. That is my fucking sister."
"Sorry," Mickey had the decency to mutter sheepishly, not tearing his eyes away from the view.
He and Derek had been down at the pool for a good fifteen minutes, just talking with their feet in the water. But then Sidney and Adeline came into the glassed-off room, laughing with each other and taking no notice of the boys.
Sidney looked nice, he supposed, in a black once piece, but Adeline looked to die for in a light blue bikini. One that showed off her relatively short legs and hugged her heavenly chest perfectly. He'd never seen so much of her skin before, and he was dying to know what she felt like.
God, Adeline was going to be the death of Mickey, he thought.
He swallowed thickly as she came closer, setting the towel slung over her shoulder down before giving him all her attention. Only to smirk when she set her sights on him and had a visible reaction to his shirtless form.
But it was hardly Adeline's fault as she stumbled a bit and came to a stop, making Sidney walk into her back. She bit her bottom lip hard, drinking in the sight of Mickey sitting on the edge of the pool, a pair of dark blue swim trucks low on his hips. His skin was perfectly tanned, and his torso, while lean, was still softly defined.
Sure, she'd felt his firm chest when she leaned on him or when she was pressed against him while kissing, but seeing the proof of it was a whole other thing. Mickey Altieri was downright dreamy.
"Collect yourself, Addy," Sidney murmured with a smirk on her face. After all, this was her first time seeing Derek shirtless and she wasn't freaking out — she certainly enjoyed the sight though.
Adeline took in a breath and nodded, continuing on her way and hoping that her brother hadn't noticed her little lapse — he had but he was so disgusted that he chose not to comment on it.
"Hey, guys," Adeline said while coming to sit next to Mickey. He instantly slid his arm around her waist, pulling her close against him. And her cheeks burned, feeling his bare skin against hers. "Are you gonna swim or just hang out?"
"Hang out," Mickey told her as Derek answered by sliding off the edge and into the water. "It's nice in here. Heated water is definitely welcome with the snow outside."
"Don't I know it," Sidney murmured, hating the cold weather. She giggled when Derek splashed her a bit.
"Come on, all of you get in. You too, Mickey. What's the point of bringing a swimsuit if you're not gonna use it?" Derek asked tauntingly as Sidney joined him.
"Well, what about my hair?" Adeline asked, running a hand through her long hair. "It looks really nice today."
"Yeah, it does," Mickey said, leaning in to kiss the side of her head. "So, I apologize in advance."
Before she could question him, he pushed her right into the pool, her barely managing to hold her breath before she was submerged. And when she finally gathered her bearings enough to stand up and resurface, she had to push her wet hair off her face in order to glare at her laughing boyfriend.
"Mickey!" she whined. "Why would you do that?"
He grinned down at her, tilting his head. "Because the little mad look on your face is downright adorable."
"Well, I'm not staying in here," she muttered, wading closer to him. "Help me out."
"You got it, Princess," he chuckled while grabbing her hands. Only for his smile to drop when she then pulled him into the pool, him now in the exact same, soaking wet position.
"Man, how did you not see that coming?" Derek asked, shaking his head as Sidney giggled. "But at least we're all in now."
As Sidney and Derek swam off to the other end, Mickey was left glaring at a very pleased Adeline.
"You got some hair," she said, reaching up to push his wet hair off his forehead.
He scoffed and grabbed her wrist to pull her close until their chests were touching. "You're a menace, you know that?"
"I am not!" she insisted. "You are. You started it like you always do. I'm learning to retaliate."
"Well, I want my sweet little princess back. I'd still be perfectly dry if she were around," he said, rolling his eyes in fake annoyance. "Guess I'll just have to ignore you the rest of the break for this."
"No," she said, knowing he was just teasing her. "Don't do that. I'm like Tinkerbell — I'll die without your attention."
"That's not believing in her. Not lack of attention," he corrected her. "And I suppose if you really want forgiveness, you could give me something very valuable?"
"What? Like a watch?"
He laughed and shook his head, moving his hands to her waist to help her float as he did so. "A kiss. You haven't kissed me all day. I'm withering away to nothing over here without you."
Adeline beamed while leaning up, hands on his strong shoulders. "Now that, I can do."
He smiled but it was wiped away when she kissed him sweetly, wrapping her arms around his neck. Mickey hummed happily against her as he deepened the kiss, slowly backing her up against the wall of the pool.
As she tangled her fingers in his wet hair, his thigh fell between her parted legs, and when she brushed up against him, she gasped into his mouth from the friction.
"Mickey," she murmured with her eyes shut, her face burning as he moved to kiss along her jaw. "Oh—"
"Off her before I waterboard you, Altieri!" Derek snapped from behind Mickey while also sending a huge wave of water at him with his arm.
Though she was embarrassed to have gotten so distracted, Adeline still giggled as Mickey sighed and rested his forehead on her shoulder, grinning to himself. She moved to kiss his temple before swimming out of his hold.
"Come on, babe," she said, pulling him along by his hand. "Get him back by helping me win a chicken fight."
"Oh, no," Sidney said, shaking her head. "We're gonna kick your ass."

"Today was perfect," Mickey murmured to Adeline. "Two weeks of this and I'm not gonna want to ever leave."
"Good," Adeline said with a smile. "I don't want to let you go."
The couple was seated in the back row of the screening room while Derek and Sidney were at the front. They were all watching 'Interview With the Vampire', and because it wasn't really scary despite being in the horror genre, Adeline hadn't thrown a fit. But now as the end neared, she and Mickey were whispering back and forth, completely wrapped up in each other.
"What's the plan for tomorrow?" Mickey asked her while toying with her fingers.
"I thought maybe I could take you into town? Show you around," she suggested. "Want everyone I grew up around to know I have the handsomest boyfriend ever."
"Can't complain about that because it means all the boys you grew up with know you're taken," he said, kissing her neck. "Any holiday traditions we have to participate in?"
"Well, we always spend Christmas Eve making cookies to put out for Santa. And carrots for the reindeer," she told him with a smile. "Daddy always makes sure to eat some of them to make it look like they visited in the night. Even now that we know he's not real. And we have to watch 'A Christmas Story' the next morning after presents — it's Mama's favorite. Mine is 'Christmas Vacation'."
"I like 'Black Christmas'," Mickey told her. "Maybe we could watch it after."
Adeline peered at him, recognizing the mischievous look on his face easily. "Is it a scary movie."
"Maybe," he said in an adorably cute tone.
Adeline rolled her eyes. "You wanna ruin dogs and mermaids and now Christmas? You're such a Grinch."
"Are you surprised?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "So, do we have a movie date?"
She smiled and leaned up to brush her lips against his, speaking against them. "We do, but only 'cause you're so cute."
