I woke up rubbing my eyes and rolling over to look at my clock "5:23 AM".

Great looks like no sleep for me.

I sat up knowing I wouldn't be able to go back to sleep I rolled out of bed noticing Kino wasn't by my side so looked out my bedroom door and heard something coming from down stairs.

I creeped down the stairs and stopped at the bottom looking around until I saw my sister standing at the door hugging Kino.

I sat door and just watched.

She doesn't look cheery like normal.

She pulled away and turned her head and I saw the light reflecting off the tears on her face and Kino tried to lick them away " No I'm ok" I heard my sister say pushing Kino back and petting her head " Make sure John gets up I'll be home later" she said opening the door and walking out.

Why was she crying.

I felt bad because I've hardly ever seen her cry but Kino came running up to me and I rustled her hair before going back up stairs.

" Hey" I heard his voice then arms wrapped around my stomach and I felt lips on my neck but I didn't welcome him " You alright" he said and I turned to face him and his eyes got soft " John what's wrong" he said holding my chin in his hand.

" I saw my sister crying this morning" I said looking away and he pulled my head back " Call her if your worried" he said and gave me a small smile.

" I'll talk to her after school" I said and he leaned in giving me a kiss, when we pulled away I only felt worse for some reason.

That's when I made eye contact with Evan I saw a sad look on his face then he gave me a small smile and I smiled a little until I felt lips on my cheek.

" I'll see you later" he said " Bye Cry" I said and grabbed my stuff feeling more empty today then I normally do because I don't even feel like cutting and I always do when I feel like shit.

" Cry" I said softly and he broke away from my neck and gave me a soft look " Why are you so protective over me" I said and he tilted his head " Like whenever Evans around or anyone messes with me" I said and he sighed.

" Well you remind me a lot of myself, and I don't want to see Evan break your heart. I see the way he looks at you and I don't want you getting close then something happening I know what it feels like" he said looking away from me.

" Why do you like me" I said and he returned his gaze with a soft smile.

" Have you seen yourself your just I can't think of a word to describe you, you look amazing and your eyes their just they can turn the straightest guy curious" he said kissing me again.

I hope so.

" Plus you may have your sad moments but your smile can stop time" he said and I placed my head into his chest.

" Can we just sit here" I said and he hummed wrapping his arms around me and pulling me closer onto his lap and setting his head on my shoulder.
