Once I was showered and changed, I got into my car and Killian joined me and I drove to the school. I parked near the main building and we went inside to meet with the crew.

"Sir, the dean has told me that there is an issue with their finances and they need to put a hold on the job." Sam told me when he saw me walking up to them. 

"Alright, I'm going to go speak with him. You guys just wait around until I'm finished." I said and they nodded. I spotted Callahan and Calder walking by and I wanted to talk to Callahan but I needed to discuss business so I went to the office and the secretary told the dean I was there. 

"Mr. O'Brian, please come in." The dean, Matthew said when he opened the door. I walked into his office and took a seat.

"My foreman said there are financial issues? How is that possible when I emailed you a list of my prices and the bank, along with the discount prices of the materials. I got a reply from the bank stating it was approved so why now are there issues?" I asked him as soon as he shut the door.

"I'm not sure, I have an investigation going on to find out what happened but for now, we can't afford the build. The school needs it but it has to wait. I apologize for this Mr. O'Brian, I just thought I would let you know as soon as I heard so your men weren't working on a job we can't afford." He said and I can tell he is worried about this situation. If it were daddy, he would help any way he could, so being the nice guy I was raised to be, I looked at him and nodded slowly, thinking of what I could do. 

"I understand the issues but we will go with this rebuild this school needs. Now before you object, let me finish alright? My men will do the work but instead of them doing it all, I want some of your students to help them with anything they need. They can also do sales of products, they can do fundraisers, anything to raise money for the school. Don't worry about paying it to me, I can wait. The school can't." I said and I felt right about this. My future kids, if I ever have any, will go to this school if they stay local so I want a good relationship with this school. He smiled at me and stood up and we shook hands.

"Thank you, Mr. O'Brian, I appreciate this very much. I will post a letter to the student body about this and for them to contact your office if they are interested but I assume they will be in order for the school to get the help it needs. Again, thank you for being so generous and helping us." 

"You're welcome. I will call you with an email I will have set up for this so you can add it to the announcement, I don't want my personal email and business email to be filled with the students. This way it will be more organized and I can have others help in contacting the students. I need to go, I have the day off so I'm going to enjoy what is left of it. I will speak to you soon." We shook hands and I left his office.

I looked at my watch and saw it was only two, it seems that it's later in the day but whatever. I guess I was in there for a while because students are everywhere now and I see Alexander is with his mates along with Killian so I left them be, I'll talk to Callahan later. 

"I'm going back home, I worked something out with the dean, I'll send an email out later about it. I'm going to enjoy the rest of my day off. You all can go home if you want. Adriel, would you like to come over this weekend and meet some people, get to know us since you probably have no one to visit seeing you can't remember your life." I asked gently, not wanting to upset him.

"Thanks, yes I'd like that. I'll call you sometime in the morning to get your address if that's alright?" He asked shyly. I smiled at him.

"That's fine, I'll see you all later." I walked out and went home. When I got there my whole family was in the side yard next to papaws house grilling and hanging out. I walked over and wrapped my arms around papa's shoulders. 

"Hey son, everything ok with work?" He asked, tilting his head to look at me.

"Yes, well it will be. I'll handle it all later, for now, I just want to enjoy my time with you all. I want to go on a run before sundown with everyone and have our wolves connect with one another."
