Callahan up top!

Collen POV

The next morning I woke up and got dressed in a pair of shorts and a tank top with my white sneakers. Once I was finished, I opened my door and saw Callahan leaning against the wall.

"Were you waiting for me?" I asked when he noticed I was in front of him.

"Yes, I want the whole day with you so come on. I have it all planned out." He said and took my hand and we went downstairs. He had me cover my eyes and grabbed my arm to be my guide and when we stopped he removed my hands from my eyes. I opened my eyes and saw that he had made breakfast for us. There were pancakes, bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns. All my favorite breakfast food. He also had orange juice, no coffee which is something I never drink and I'm sure Xavier had told him that. He had me sit down and he made me a plate and himself one and sat beside me, glancing at me every few seconds and I chuckled.

"Callahan, thank you for this." I said and he blushed, gosh he is so freaking cute!

"You're welcome. I have planned a fun day, I hope it is for you at least. After breakfast, we are going to go on a tour of the town and do some shopping, come back here and bake. Rent a movie or two and just relax, you work too hard and so much I heard that you don't take enough time to relax so today is all about you and relaxing." He said once he was finished chewing his food.

"I'm not going to argue with you, I agree. Today sounds like it's going to be perfect." We finished our breakfast and cleaned up the mess before we went outside to go explore the town.

As we were walking around, we would get stopped by people to talk to us or to meet us. We went to some of the little shops to see what the town's goods were.

"Collen, look at this!" Callahan said holding up an odd-shaped stone. It was different colors and when I got a closer look, I noticed it wasn't stone at all. It was glass.

"Ah, that is glass made by lightning striking it. Isn't it beautiful?" We heard a woman say from behind us and we turned around to see a short beautiful woman with long blonde hair, hiding her pointy elf ears and bright blue eyes.

"Yes, it really is. I haven't seen anything like it before then again, I've never seen anything like this town or the people who live here before either."

"That piece was found by my father on one of his many quests, he has a lot of his findings here in the shop. Feel free to look around and if you need anything, let me know." She said and walked off to help someone else. I noticed Callahan kept looking at the piece so I acted like I was going to look at something else in the next aisle but I found the woman and told her I wanted to buy the piece without Callahan knowing or seeing so she told me how much it was and I gave her the money for it and she went off to do whatever it is she does. I did take the time and explore the shop and found some other things I think daddy and papa would like for their home as well as my brother and his mates. I even bought something for my little Emilie and the babies on the way, my brother's and Phil's. I found Callahan in the corner of the shop trying to reach for something on a shelf above his head so I went up behind him, getting as close to him as I could and reached up, grabbing it for him and made sure my free arm touched his side as I moved back some.

"All you had to do was ask for help." I said and handed him the figurine he was trying to grab.

"I didn't know where you were and it caught my eye. Thank you. You look like you found some things you wanted." He said when he noticed the basket I had of the items I had found. I also noticed he didn't have the piece of sand glass so I went to grab it from the shelf and walked back to him.

"Here, this is for you." I handed it to him and he smiled so wide, it could have split his face in two.

"Thank you!" He hugged me with one arm and got on his tiptoes to kiss my cheek but I moved my head to look at him and his lips met mine. When he felt our lips touch, I felt him freeze so I moved my head and looked at him. I saw that he was about to cry for some reason and I didn't like that look on his pretty face.

"What's wrong?" I asked and wiped a fallen tear on his cheek.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that." He whispered and turned his face away from me.

"It isn't your fault Callahan, it was an accident and if I'm being honest here, an accident I would like to happen again." I admitted and he looked at me with wide eyes and blushed cheeks.

"I know we are friends and just met a week ago, a little longer but I like spending time with you, I like getting to know you and I enjoy your company, Callahan. You made an effort with me when you didn't even know me, you put your mates second the day you met them to see if I was alright. Please don't worry too much about what just happened and let things happen naturally. Now come on, let's go check out the other shops."

"I really like spending time with you also Collen." He said shyly and I wrapped my arm around his shoulder and pulled him close as we walked out of the door to the shop after we bought the items we wanted.

Next, we went into a shop that smelt like chocolate and bread. My stomach growled at the smells and Callahan chuckled at the sound.

"It does smell amazing in here." He said and licked his lips looking at the chocolate drizzled pretzels. I couldn't help my smile watching him almost droll over the food in front of him.

"Maybe we can get some things to bake at the house?" He had a hopeful look in his eyes so I of course agreed, baking with him sounds like it'll be fun. We went around the shop and picked out items to bake some cookies, a cake, homemade bread and a certain type of pans to make chocolate. Once we had everything for baking, I paid and we gathered the bags and decided to take the items we had already back to the house, put them away and go back out.

After we left the house a second time, we went to a diner for some lunch and after we were done, we decided to find where everyone goes swimming in this town. Lazarus keeps telling me to get closer to Callahan but I'm not sure what he means. Is Callahan my mate as well? I'm sure if we were, he would tell me but it seems that we are forming a bond because I feel something more for Callahan than just friends since I met him.

"So what do you want to bake first?" I asked him when we arrived at a big waterhole.

"It doesn't matter, I just love baking so anything is fine first." He answered and removed his shorts and t-shirt, making me stop my reply to just look at his body.

"What? Do I have something on me?" He asked as he looked down at himself and I shook my head to rid my thoughts.

"No, sorry. If we make the cake first, it can cool as we make other stuff and once it's cool we can put toppings on it or icing, whatever you want and it will be ready before dinner is done and we can have it for dessert." I decided to say that instead of anything that will make him blush at the moment even though I love making him blush.

"That's a good idea. Well come on, take your clothes off and let's go swimming." He said and put his hand on his hip. I smiled and shook my head and removed my clothes and put them beside his and I jumped in the water, him following behind me.

"Can I ask you something, Callahan?" I asked once we came back up out of the water, floating and relaxing in the afternoon sun.

"Sure, ask me anything."

"When you are ready, how many kids do you want?" I heard splashing and looked behind me to see he was standing in the water, it's not that deep so we can stand in the water on our feet touching the ground.

"That was an unexpected question but I have always wanted a big family. Being just my brother and me our whole lives, it has made me want a lot of kids. What about you?" He asked swimming over to me.

"Well, you know how big my family is so I want a lot as well. I'm not getting any younger either so if I want my big family, I need to start on it soon which I plan on doing in the next year. I want to get to know Jagger better, have stronger bonds with him, Killian and possibly you before I have kids." After he heard my reply, I swear his face and upper body turned beet red.

"You want to have kids with me?" He asked after a few minutes of silence.

"I think we would make some beautiful babies." I answered truthfully and his eyes met mine and we swam closer to one another until we were face to face, looking into each other's eyes.

"I believe you are right but I don't mate without the intention of being marked."

"I don't know if my mark will last on you, it didn't on Xavier because we weren't true mates and because of my wolf, but we're not there yet, so let's just focus on today and go from there." I can understand his thoughts on wanting to be marked, it's what we all dream of when we mate with someone we are mated to or love. I have longed for that since I was sixteen and finally, after almost twelve years, it's possible for me. We swam for a couple of hours, just having fun together and talking about anything and everything we could think of before the sun started to set some. Once we were dry after we got out of the water, we got dressed and walked back to the house.

"Hey so how do we have the place to ourselves? Where are the others?" I asked when I noticed the house was still empty since earlier when we came back the first time.

"I told them to go find stuff to do and to not be here today since it's our day. They didn't put up a fight and they will be back but not till later on tonight. Go shower and I will as well and then we'll start baking." He said and he was about to walk past me but I grabbed his arm gently and pulled him to my body, attaching my lips on his, finally able to kiss him. He kissed back right away and wrapped his arms around my neck, deepening the kiss. I moaned softly at his delicious taste and warmth from his kiss. He opened his mouth and I didn't waste time exploring his mouth and loving how sweet he tastes.

"If you keep kissing me like that, we won't be showering alone and I will break my own vow." He said and walked to his door, looking at me before walking into the room. I sighed and looked down, seeing I was semi-hard from that kiss. I walked past Callahan's room, ignoring the thought he is naked underwater and kept walking down the hall to my room. I showered quickly and dressed in briefs and sweats, no shirt or shoes and went to the kitchen to see that Callahan wasn't out of his room yet so I got the ingredients out for the cake and preheated the oven so it's ready when the cake is mixed up. Just as I turned around, Callahan walked out wearing a t-shirt that barely covered his ass and boxers, looking hot as hell.

"Are you trying to turn me on even more?" I asked when he walked over to me and looked over to the island and noticed everything was ready to start.

"No, why, is it working?" He asked looking at me through his long lashes and bit his lip, turning me on even more.
