"You found your mate who is he?" she said not minding my last statement but she sounded extremely happy.

"Ryan," I answered.

"Ryan, as in Ryan Night?" She asked.

"Yes," I answered.

"No way that's my brother!" she exclaimed.

"You're his sister?" I asked Natalie that was still not getting through my head. I just told her the most important piece of information about me that I did not want to tell anyone and look who I told my mate's sister.

"Yes, we don't really look alike because I got my moms hair and eyes and he got dad's eyes but moms hair. No one ever believes we are related." She exclaimed shrugging her shoulders.

"Hey Natalie," I said grabbing her attention.

"Yeah?" She replied all happy again.

"Please don't tell Ryan that you are my therapist. I don't want to tell him what he happened to me just yet. Justin and Emma talked to me about it this situation but I still feel like if he knows any of this he will reject me even if he did accept me." I told her honestly I looked at her with hopeful eyes hoping she won't tell him.

"I won't tell him because that's not my place to tell and you know patient and client confidentiality, but a piece of advice don't wait forever to tell him because sooner or later he will find out. And it's best if you tell him and it doesn't come from someone else. And my brother will be a dead man if he ever rejected you, Isa," she said pulling me into a hug.

"Thank you. I'm just not ready to tell him." I told her again. Just then an alarm went off.

"Well it looks like our session is done for today I'll see you soon I'll call for your next appointment, but your assignment you have to work on is trust. Trust the people around you, but keep your eyes open because not everyone is trustworthy."
And with that, I said one last goodbye and left.

Day one of therapy went well

The following morning I woke up and got dressed in a simple outfit that consisted of jeans and a long sleeve shirt and wrapped my hair in a bun. I was having those I'm not in the mood for any bullshit type of days.

Like when something bad has happened to you and all those dark memories come rushing back to you, making you feel those past emotions once more.

I got a glass of water and chugged it down and swiped my top lip with my hand to remove the water mustache. I waited for Justin and Emma outside by the car and we all got in.

The music was playing on the radio but I wasn't listening to it I just plugged in my own headphones and listened to some smooth depressing music to match my mood.
I went to my locker and got my books to start heading to class.

"Hey, Isa can I talk to you?" Ryan said when he came over to my locker.

"Huh?" I asked removing my headphones from my ears.

"Can we talk?" he asked again raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah sure," I responded closing my locker and walking with him.

"So how have you been? I feel like I haven't seen or talked to you forever." Ryan said pulling me closer to his body instantly making me feel warm and lifting my mood a little bit.

"I will say I have better days but that hasn't happened yet," I said truthfully that was true, there hasn't been a day I've been truly happy.

I'm still waiting for that day

I hope that day will come

There can be ok days but there's always something that has to ruin it.

"Let's go out for pizza today," he suggested coming to a stop as we entered our first period.

"Yeah, that sounds cool. I can totally eat some pizza today." I said with a small smile playing around my lips.

Pizza pizza

"Have you shifted yet?" He asked quietly looking at me.

How does he know?

"I can smell your new scent, Isa," he said as if he read my thoughts.

"No, not yet Violet said soon though. She said I have to be with you because my shift is going to very be painful." I told him he grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers together.

"I will be there for you, you know that right?" He said looking into my eyes waiting for my response.

"I hope so Ryan, I really do hope so," I told him honestly. He didn't reply but just sent me a small smile my way and I did the same.

Don't promise me something if you don't know if you can keep it

But I'm going to trust you Ryan

After school

I told Justin and Emma I was going with Ryan to eat pizza and he will give me a ride back to the house later when we are done eating.

I walked to Ryan's car which he described to me earlier at lunch to wait for him. I saw him come out of the building with his group of friends I then saw Tori walk up to him and lay her hand on his chest.

I just watched

Ryan will stop her...

It won't go any farther than that

She started giggling like a manic and threw her head back.

I could feel myself getting mad

Why is she touching him?

Why isn't he stopping her?

"I want to rip her throat out," Violet said angrily. Ryan looked at her with no expression on his face and said something to her. Her face grew red and without a second glance, he left her behind. He walked up to the side of the car I was at and brought me closer to his body giving me a kiss on my forehead.

"I got you, Isa, I got you." He murmured.

He has me

He unlocked the car and we got in and he started driving to the pizza shack.

"Tori and her friends are so annoying. I wish you were there to give some of the comebacks from the other day Isa," he said looking at me and smiling lazily, he looked so cute.

I laughed and nodded my head not telling him what Violet wanted to do to Tori because I also wanted to do it. I don't need him thinking I'm a psychopath.

We arrived at the pizza shack and ordered a large cheese pizza with extra cheese and two Cokes. We then decided to go to a park that was nearby and eat there since it was quieter than the loud crowded store we were at.

We talked for what felt like hours when it was just a few minutes and it felt like I knew him my whole life. I felt happy all giddy inside.

That feeling was foreign

And I liked it a lot

Just when he started talking again I felt a large pain around my chest. I looked at Ryan with pain in my eyes. What was happening? Why am I in pain? Do I need to go back to the hospital?

"Isa, what's wrong?" Ryan asked looking if I hurt myself.

"I don't know my chest i-is in a lot of pain and I can barley breath.-" I started saying but I couldn't finish my sentence because next thing you know I'm being lifted and rushed to a forest that was near the park.

How was he able to get me here so fast?

What about my damn pizza?

I mean our pizza with extra cheese

Ryan carefully laid me on the ground and I felt my body shaking. The pain got sharper I was in terrible pain. Ryan kept running his fingers through my hair saying it's ok. I felt the tears running down my face.

No, it's not fucking ok I'm in pain Ryan

It hurt so fucking bad

And that's when I heard my bones cracking and moving around causing me to scream out in pain. And just like that, I was knocked out cold, not feeling pain anymore.

Am I in heaven now?

When I opened my eyes I felt different from my normal self. I turned to the left and saw Ryan sleeping.

I think he's sleeping.

Is he dead?

Did I kill him?

No I don't think so I have no reason to kill him.. do I?

I tried to talk but I couldn't.

What the hell happened to me?

I looked down at my body and saw that it changed completely.

This was not my body

I opened my mouth again and tried to scream but all that came out was a growl.

What the actual fuck

I also noticed I didn't have any clothes on. All I saw was white fur coving my body and instead of two feet I had four paws.

Shit I just shifted
