The concert was amazing.

Everybody was cheering, dancing and swaying. Only a handful of people were in their seats, just listening and sipping their drinks. Charlie's music invited people to move. It was melodious and the lyrics made perfect sense.

This was way better than watching them play in Charlie's garage, this looked professional, and the sound was clean and on point.

This kind of ambience had to be live, you had to be there, and see it with your own eyes! Watching a music video on TV doesn't give you that intense feeling, the feeling of being a part of a secret club!

She forgot about everything else, she zoned out every thought in her mind, it felt so freeing.

As the set came to an end, Charlie took the mike and cleared his throat.

"We have one song left...you guys have been awesome, thank you so much for making our first performance super memorable...I need a favor...I want you to give a big applause, to a couple of my friends: Ryder and Skylar, they are going to join us on stage during the last song, I won't ask them to sing, but I am hoping everybody will join us, and do a slow dance to this last song, a sweet lovesong. I wrote it for my girlfriend Hannah, the beautiful redhead down front!" Charlie smiled, and waved at them.

Hannah smiled, his romantic gesture was really sweet.

Skylar looked like a deer caught in the headlights of a speeding car, but Ryder dragged her by the hand, leading her up the stairs to enter the stage.

The spotlights were blinding her, as she tried to look for Hannah.

But she quickly realized, it was due to the fact, that the spotlight was all on them.

Her and Ryder.

Ryder knew why.

Charlie was helping them with the bucket list!

He just pulled Skylar close as the music started, looking into Ryder's eyes, she forgot about everything else, everybody just vanished - all she saw, was Ryder!

They were the only two people in the world just now.

How can you crave someone like that? It felt almost magical. She literally felt the ache devour her entire body, she longed for him that badly. It made her light-headed.

She felt intoxicated, but she did not have a single drop of alcohol in her blood. She was drinking him in, like you would smell a beautiful bouquet of fresh scented flowers.

Being close to him was impossible to put into words. It all boiled down to the feelings she had for him.

She loved Ryder. He was the one.

The only one.

The only one, she had ever known. The only one she ever kissed. The only one she ever made love to...He literally fulfilled her dream of falling in love with THE ONE. 2-3 months ago, she only knew about love from the books she was reading. He showed her real love. True love...She finally felt it. Never - in her wildest dreams, had she imagined, anything like this could happen to her!

This is the kind of thing that only happens in movies or books. Right? A shy socially awkward girl, meeting this hot; bad boy. Stuff like that doesn't happen to normal people, stories like that are made up in "Tinzel Town". She had watched innumerable amounts of romantic chic flics, not ever daring to put herself in the lead, but here she was!

Leaning up against him made her feel protected, he made her feel safe. He was tall and skinny, but his muscles were there, she felt them, as she rested her head on his shoulder, he just felt strong.

He was just so unbelievably hot! He didn't need anything besides a pair of ripped, black skinny jeans and a T shirt, and he looked amazing! His hair was thick; luscious and messy, but carefully styled.

He looked like the kind of guy girls would pine for!

He made her feel fragile somehow, and she wanted to be. Sometimes being fragile, makes you more feminine? Lots of women would lash out at her for even thinking that...modern women want to be strong and independent, but the women in her books, were from another time, and she liked the thought of that. She had hid in that world an unspeakable amount of times!

And with Ryder she was able to step into that world...she felt like he invited her to do that, she could be whoever, she wanted to -  with him. He made her want to be romantic and girly. She wanted to look good for him, she noticed how he would stare at her sometimes, with these loving eyes. But it didn't matter to him, if she had on make up, or a pretty dress, or just pajamas, he still looked at her the same way. It just occurred to her at that moment, as he looked at her right now...like she was the only girl in the world...His world.

It felt like she was playing the part in a movie, this was too good to be real, right? She was standing on a stage, dancing with this hot guy.

He was her guy.

The shy girl was dating the cool boy, that's how she felt.

It felt so good.

She felt so lucky, and still she couldn't help feeling sad. She wanted this to last forever, knowing that it wouldn't, broke her heart into a million pieces, shattering onto the floor, only no one heard, but Ryder. He felt it instantly, and he just hugged her tigther, picking up the pieces, like only he could.

Putting her back together, just the right way. As if he had solved the puzzle, no one else could.

But him.

Only him.

He kissed her gently on the forehead, swaying her, as if he was cradling her.

It calmed her down, she wanted to remember this moment, she wanted to remember loving someone so deeply, you can never go back...

It's beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time.

But nevertheless it was worth it, her time with Ryder, was worth it, no matter how short.
