AMELIA'S POV
"you're still awake" i turned towards niel who was standing just beside , i got startled for a moment , it was 3 am and i was wide awake , i wanted this time to stop and not move anymore .
"lia" he kept his hand over mine which was tightly holding the railing of the balcony , i looked at him and we just stared , at that moment i couldn't speak , my throat was too heavy to let even a single word out .
"we'll keep her safe and you will see with your own eyes how happily she would spend the rest of her life -"
"without us , all alone" i finished off his sentence , he looked away taking a deep breathe .
"i never believed in god , we never believed in god , none of our sons do , but rose does , we sinned , not her , then why is she the one to pay for us , this ain't fair , this was not something she deserved , this is not done " he looked at me , his eyes softened and a little moist as well .
Pulling me towards him , he wrapped his arms around me , my head on his chest , both of us were trying to seek some comfort in eachother's embrace but we couldn't , for the first time both of us were restless even though we had eachother .
"tomorrow might be the last day , we will see her " niel said and my heart ached , after tomorrow we'll never be able to meet her or see her for a long time , though we have hired our most trusted guards to keep her safe but we won't be able to see her in person . She would have to live alone . How would she live , how would she survive all alone in the world she doesn't have even a little knowledge about , i though have told her everything , but there is difference between in knowing things and experiencing them all alone .
"i will miss her " he kissed my forehead before muttering "i'll miss her too".

ALEXANDER POV
"alex knock bro , till when we will keep standing in front of her door like this" ethaan said , his tone laced with desperation , currently all three of us were standing in front of rose's door , all tensed and nervous and slightly afraid of all the possibilities .
does she hates us after knowing about our reality ?
will she forgive us ?
would she want to even see our faces ?
I took a deep breath and was just about to knock the door when the door suddenly opened revealing rose , she stood confused looking at us , i was thankful to all the gods she believed in when her eyes were void of any kind of hatred .
"r-" ehshan was about to speak to her when she harshly cut him off.
"what ,is there anything else that you guyz have been hiding from me all these years and now you are here to tell them , when i am just about to leave everything and everyone of you behind " more than anger , her voice was laced with the pain of betrayal .
All of us stood silent , having no idea about how to reply . She looked at us and then walked inside leaving the door opened , we took that as a clue and walked inside , my heart ached when i saw her packing , yeah tonight is the ball and by morning she would be gone forever .
"we are sorry " ethan said but she kept pushing all the stuff inside the bag angrily .
"what are you sorry for ethan, you shouldn't be sorry at all , i was just a guest in your life , i was meant to go like this one day , wasn't this planned since the day i was born " she tried to zip the back but couldn't because the clothes were too much , she winched when she tried to pull the zip harshly cutting herself in the process .
"rose" ethan wrapped his handkerchief around her finger .
"stop hurting yourself" ehshaan roared
"i am already hurting" rose snapped back in the same tone , her eyes welling up with tears .
"then stop hurting yourself more bub" ehshaan stroked her hairs hugging her and like a dam she broke out .
"i don't want to leave , i don't want to go anywhere , let me stay in some corner of this big mansion , but don't make me leave you , how will i live without you" it was very hard to see her like that breaking down in front of us and we couldn't do anything . But we need to do this for her .
"hey look at me" i cupped her face , she sobbed .
"you are not leaving us , you are just going a little far away from us..we will be there for you even if you are far away from us , i promise" I gave her my pinky finger , she looked at me and slowly wrapped around her pinkie finger .
"we promise too" everyone wrapped their pinkie fingers around our entwined ones and then there was a group hug , may be the last one too .

Our little moment broke by the knocking on the door . Ehshaan stood up and walked to the door .
"sir , Mrs. Knight sent us to get Ms. Rose ready for the ball night" the woman who i think was a beautician said . We gave rose a last hug and then walked out of the room letting the beauticians walk inside the room.
