Chapter 18: Please, Don't Leave Me!
Izuku's POV:
Looking around, I find myself standing in a place I don't recognize, but is so familiar to me.
I was in a room. It was dark, meaning it's night time. I was in some sweatpants and a oversized hoodie.
Who's hoodie was this?
Looking up, I found a man standing in the doorway. He had bags in his hands.
Was he leaving? Where was he going to go? Do I want him to leave?
No. No, I don't.
Before I could stop him, the man was gone. The next thing I knew, I was in a street, with my clothes clinging to me.
His time, I was wearing a dark green button up, with some black jeans.
It was pouring outside and I was just standing there, looking at the man from earlier.
But he wasn't alone.
He was with a girl. His arm around her waist as she was clinging to him under an umbrella.
She had long black hair in a ponytail and she was beautiful. She had a body with curves in all the right places.
I saw them kissing, and suddenly I felt sad. Tears were welling up in my eyes, but was just washed away by the rain.
"You promised. You promised me you won't leave me. Won't do this to me." I heard a voice say.
Wait. That was my voice. Definitly.
It was hoarse, and it had cracked at the end of the sentence.
I noticed I was gripping the sides of my button up shirt, biting my lip to prevent a sob from escapung my mouth.
The boy looked at me, smirking as he did so, before answering, "Don't you get it, Izuku? You're not good enough. You never were good enough and you never will be. You. Are. Useless."
I couldn't hold it back anymore. A sob had escaped my mouth as my knees gave in from under me.
I fell to the ground holding my head, knees tucked into my chest as I rocked myself back and forth.
"Please, please! You promised! You promised me Shoto!"
I sat up abruptedly, a cold sweat was covering me as tears was streaming down my face. My whole body was shaking and my breathing was uneven.
I looked around the room, not caring where I was, not really taking in my suroundings.
Suddenly, my eyes fell onto a sharp object. I looked at it, having a war with in my head before getting up and grabbing it.
I place my back against the nearest wall before sliding down onto the floor.
I took the sharp object, and placed it on my wrists. Taking in a deep breath, I added pressure as I slid the object across my skin, creating a straight cut.
Suddenly, the feeling of relief fell over me as physical pain took over, making me forget all the mental pain.
Not for long though.
As I was ready to make the next cut, a cold, pail hand placed themselves over mine, stopping my actions.
I didn't look up, already knowing who it was, not wanting to see the dissapointment on their face.
He took the object from me, before pulling me into a hug and whispering in my ear.
'It's okay. You're okay. You're safe. You're not alone.'
Was what was whispered into my ear, calming me down.
A few more tears slid down my face as I gripped the front of his shirt, burrying my face in his shoulder.
Just for now, while it still lasts.
I'm gonna enjoy this.
'No, we're not promised tomorrow.
So, I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you'
