He didn't smile much any more, but who could blame him? I mean who would after everything that has happened, it's shocking that he even smiles now

We had moved in together after he got out the hospital 3 years ago, at first he didn't really speak, but now it was like he is a different person

" Hey Silver " Sonic said with a ghost of a smile as he looked at me in the kitchen

" hello Sonic, how did you sleep?" I asked with a smile

" like normal " he sighed, so did i but i came up with an idea

" how about we go somewhere today?" I  asked

" what to the park? we go there everyday because you and Shadow drag me out there " he smiled, it was small, but still a smile, his smile

" somewhere different then, how about the beach?" i asked, i saw him flinch at the word

" okay maybe nowhere with any liquids " i hummed

" how about angle island " Shadow suddenly asked  making both me and Sonic jump

Things had changed a lot in the last three years, we all were different people, Sonic and Shadow had opened up about problems they kept to themselves

everyone found Sonic had been doing a sort of illusion to hide his scars, they all had been shocked to see them littering his body, but they weren't as noticeable as the ones on his back and the two across his left eyes

he wore clothes now as well, typically a black jacket with torn sleeves, black fingerless gloves, torn jeans and his signature shoes which was odd in everyone's opinion, but when he told me and Shadow the story of his shoes we understood

His uncle had made them for him when he was younger, because every time he ran his feet would get blisters, so he disigned a special pair of shoes for him, he clothe choices though? That we still don't know

 " sure, i mean it is nice there " Sonic nodded

" well eat first " Shadow stated

" but Silver's cooking sucks...no offence" Sonic said as he looked at me

" it's not that bad " i huffed as i rolled my eyes

" it really is that bad " Shadow chuckled, i huffed and walked out the kitchen

" fine I'll just eat ice-cream for breakfast " Sonic said as he then went to the freezer

" no " I said as i used my powers to hold the freezer shut 

" oh come on, please?" Sonic whined, me and Shadow just shook our heads, he just huffed in annoyance

I rolled my eyes and got out the milk, a box of cereal, a bowl and a spoon

" now eat " i said as put it in front of him, it was rare to see him like this, but it always made me smile

" I'd rather starve " he muttered, i saw Shadow narrow his eyes, and i just glared at Sonic

" Eat before we make you " Shadow stated sternly, Sonic huffed and poured a bowl and began to eat, making both me and Shadow satisfied 

{????'s Pov}

I watched the guardian of the emeralds, the time traveller and the hybrid hedgehog as they spoke, I watched them as i planned my attack

not only to destroy this planet, to exact my revenge, but to corrupt the balance of this energy flowing and that azure hedgehog was the key to doing that

I'll wait till the perfect moment to attack
