Sid: Avni why you resigned and came here all of a sudden?

Avu: I got a better job

She said trying not to look at him.

Sid: I am not bragging but it's a fact that Nigam Enterprises is at much higher position than RS Enterprises

He chuckled dryly.

Sid: Atleast don't lie to me now

Avu looked down.

Avu: Sid everyone abandoned me after that incident. Even when you got to know you just left. I couldn't bare anymore hate now. I was too tired of everything. I didn't want to get ignored by you. So I thought it will be better to leave

Sid kept his hand on hers. She got tensed and tried pulling it but squeezed it to calm her. She felt comfortable and relaxed and let him. He rubbed her knuckles with his thumb.

Sid: Who told you that I hate you?

Avu:....

Sid: Please I want an answer

Avu: That day you left without a word

He sighed.

Sid: Avu seriously. Ek baar baat to kr skti thi. Look that day I didn't react or say anything. I know. But it was something too big and unexpected. I needed time to digest everything. I never even thought it in my wildest dream that you would have a child. I needed time. But till I understood.....you just left

Avu was too shocked to reply.

Sid: See Avu I understand your situation. It's not easy to trust anyone after that incident. After everything that happened in your life. Your boyfriend, then parents, the way they left you, it's understood. The most important people in your life behaved this way, it's nearly impossible to trust someone. I can understand

Avu looked at him with tears rolling down her eyes. No one understood her so well till date. She wasn't able to believe that he understood her situation even better than her ownself.

Avu: I am sorry Sid. I impulsively took this decision. I am extremely sorry

Sid: Avu....Avni

He held both her hands in his.

Sid: See you don't have to be sorry. You don't have to apologize. It was not your fault. Circumstances were like that. At that time, the way you felt you should react, you did. I am not blaming you anyway. I can understand your condition

Avu couldn't control anymore. She let out sobs not really caring about surroundings or people looking at her. Sid stood up and moved near to her chair. He cupped her face and made her look at himself. He didn't stop her from crying as he knew she needed it. Instead he hugged her. She burried her face in his stomach and cried making his t-shirt wet. He caressed her hair letting her cry out.

After she calmed down, Sid broke the hug slowly. He wiped off her tears and made her drink water. He cupped her face and kissed her forhead. She closed her eyes feeling his soft lips touching her forhead. She relaxed under her touch. He left her and sat back on his seat.

Avu: Thanks Sid

Sid: What for?

Avu: For understanding me, for not leaving me, for making me feel comfortable, for not judging me, for letting me cry out in your arms. I craved for it from years and finally you gave it to me. I needed to cry out in someone's arms without any fear to be judged and you provided me that. I can never thank you enough Sid

Sid smiled at her.

Sid: To pagli dost hote kislie hai? Iske lie ab thanks bolegi hnn? I hope if not more, we are yet friends?

He asked looking at her hopefully.

Avu:....
