Team 7 movie night
"No."
"Pleaaase, Kakashi-sensei?" Naruto and Sakura begged, Naruto going so far as to get down on his knees.
"Absolutely not."
"But whyyyy, Kakashi?" Sakura complained, making Sasuke smirk at her childish attitude. She punched him in the arm with her superhuman strength, making Sasuke wince and rub his sore arm.
"No way."
"Come on, Kaka-baka!!! You know you want to..." Naruto said.
"I really, really don't."
The 16 year olds put on their best pout face, well, all except Sasuke, who only joined in on the reasoning part.
"Tell you what, after we watch our movie, we'll let you watch 50 Shades of Gray." Naruto said, offering a bargain.
Kakashi showed emotion for the first time since they trio started asking to watch movies. Sasuke actually lost his calm façade, and Sakura choked on air, beginning to cough.
Sasuke's eyes stretched wide. "Oh HECK no. No way, Naruto-dobe, noooo way."
"Yes way." Kakashi said, changing his answer, an eager expression appearing on his normally-emotionless face. "Fine, I agree to the movie night. As long as we see 50 Shades of Gray."
"We?" Sasuke shook his head and scoffed. "Uh, no thank you, Kakashi, I'd like to be able to sleep at night, thank you very much."
Sakura looked like she was about to pass out, and Naruto wanted to combust from all the laughing, and Kakashi looked heartbroken. Sasuke had a 'hėll naw" expression on his face, arms folded across his lavender shirt.
"When did you become the sensei?" Kakashi pouted.
"Since you quit, apparently." Sasuke scowled.
Naruto laughed at the showdown, earning a dirty look from everyone in the room.
"What happened to responsible Kakashi?" Sakura asked, recovering from her temporary respite. "Do you have any idea the kind of havoc Naruto could wreak if he got his paws on that movie???"
Kakashi sighed, acknowledging that his student was right. "Well, what do you suggest we watch?"
"Titanic!" Sakura shouted excitedly.
"No, too sad."
"Avengers!!!" Naruto suggested with a goofy grin on his face. "Or Thor: Ragnarok."
"No," Sasuke shook his head. "I gave up on the Thor movies when Loki died."
"You do realize that he's not dead, right?" Sakura asked, raising an eyebrow. "Did you not see that one part after the credits?"
"What part?" Sasuke asked, completely shocked. "Loki's not dead? Life is worth living now!"
"So Thor: Ragnarok it is?" Naruto asked.
"..." Kakashi shook his head and sighed. "Why am I not completely opposed to that?"
"I wouldn't mind the Hunger Games, or Divergent, or Maze Runner or something." Sasuke shrugged.
"Are you really that bent on world destruction? Are you looking for tips from movies where the world is already destroyed?" Kakashi snorted.
"If I was looking for that, I'd ask Darth Vader." Sasuke rolled his eyes. "And I never said WORLD destruction, I meant Konoha destruction. And that was one time."
"Sure, teme." Naruto rolled his eyes. "Tell me that you've never wanted to destroy Konoha again since the war with a straight face."
"I haven't wanted to annhialate the Leaf since the war." Sasuke shrugged and recited.
"..."
"Oh, shut up and pick a movie, you two." Sakura rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "Who's house are we watching this at again?"
"Mine's a mess." Naruto confessed, rubbing his head awkwardly.
"Mine is probably not in the best shape either." Sakura nodded. "Kakashi?"
"Mine is in the same situation your guyses is in." Kakashi shrugged.
All three turned simultaneously to Sasuke, who hadn't spoken up since he was lost in thought. He looked up and when he saw their pointed stares, became suddenly terrified.
"No," Sasuke warned.
"OH, come on, teme! Lighten up! I'm sure it wouldn't be that bad if we watched stuff at your house. Besides, the villagers were in such a hurry to thank you, they rebuilt the entire Uchiha Compound long ago." Naruto pointed out.
Sasuke knew this, of course, since he was currently living in the Uchiha Compound, in the main mansion that used to be his home a long, long time ago. He was staying in his room, although he ended up sleeping in either his parents' room, or Itachi's because of the memories and because their rooms smelled like them.
It was a really painful process to get used to living in that huge house alone with only the memory of his family, but Sasuke had adjusted.
He just wasn't so sure he was ready to let his friends see the secrets of the Uchiha clan yet.
"Even though you're still on probation." Kakashi snickered.
"Come on, Kakashi." Sasuke groaned.
Another part of the punishment; he was put in the dungeon for 4 months, (in his opinion, it should've been longer because of all the suffering he caused his friends and everyone else, but the villagers were kind to him. You know, mostly.) And he also was on probation for 6 more months. Almost a year of punishment.
That was not as bad as it should've been. Sasuke was surprised and confused at how it was that Naruto had managed to get him off with only 10 months, but he should've known better than to doubt his best friend.
He was convinced that someday, Naruto was going to be Hokage, and Sasuke would be there to help him out through it all. It was the least he could do, really, because Naruto did more for him than Sasuke could ever repay.
"Please, Sasuke-kun?" Sakura asked, turning her puppy dog eyes on him.
And then there was Sakura, who was a whole different thing altogether. He still wasn't sure what he felt for her, but he knew he had very, very strong feelings whenever he's with her.
"Fine." Sasuke groaned, rubbing his forhead. "I have a TV in my room that we could use."
《¤》《¤》《¤》《¤》《¤》《¤》《¤》《¤》《¤》
"Whoa, Sasuke-teme, you never said your room was so big!" Naruto said, bouncing on Sasuke's big bed.
It was pretty big, but not huge. Sasuke smirked and disappeared into his closet, appearing 5 minutes later with pillows and blankets to find his friends and sensei oogling over the pictures on the wall.
One was of the Uchiha family, that consisted of Fugaku, Mikoto, Itachi and Sasuke Uchiha, while below it, his personal favorite, was one of Sasuke Sakura, Naruto and Kakashi in the genin days. Another that was just taken yesterday, of the three of them now.
The black haired boy sighed and spread the comfortable blanket on the floor beside his bed, facing the TV, (that was also a decent size) and pushed the pillows onto that.
He sighed, then disappeared down the hall going to the kitchen to make popcorn, leaving his team eyeing his kid stuff that he didn't have the heart to get rid of.
After making the popcorn, (3 bowls) he walked back to the room to find his team snooping around his closet.
He set the bowls down and dragged the stalkers out, then got the giant cardboard box full of his and Itachi's movies.
"There you go." Sasuke sighed and sat on the blanket, leaning on his bed and waiting for them to choose a movie.
"Thanks, Sasuke-kun!" Sakura said when Sasuke handed her a bowl of popcorn.
"Okay..." Naruto dug around into the box and Sasuke made himself comfortable, laying his katana against the door. "Hey, what's Wonder Woman?"
Sasuke's eyes widened and he sat up. "Not that one."
"What? Why not?" Naruto asked, confused. "Now I really want to see it."
Sasuke pinched his lips shut, but didn't object as Naruto put the disc into the DVD player.
Kakashi layed down and was eating the popcorn so he wouldn't fall asleep.
Sakura looked at Sasuke, who wasn't eating any popcorn, just staring at the TV screen (the ads were playing) and visibly wincing.
"Hey, are you okay?" She whispered.
"I'm fine." He nodded his head.
Then, suddenly, a warm body scooted up next to him and a popcorn bowl was in his lap. Sasuke looked down at Sakura and smirked slightly, while she blushed and smiled. "I can share, you know."
Sasuke laughed, and took some popcorn, subconsciously scooting closer to Sakura.
"I used to want to save the world...." The movie started.
~Le 2 hours later~
"What????" Naruto shouted, standing up and pacing. "Are you kidding me???"
Sakura was sobbing into Sasuke's shoulder and Kakashi was deathly quiet, although Sasuke suspected that... wait up, are those tears?
Anyway, Sasuke, really had seen the movie and knew what happened, but it still crushed him.
Naruto was still yelling at the TV and crying anime tears, while Sakura's sobs turned to silent crying.
"Is someone going to say something about that?" Naruto huffed and sat down, but Sasuke noticed the tears filling his eyes.
"Yes. Steve died." Sasuke winced. "And I have four words for you."
"OH, no."
"I,"
"No, Sasuke, please don't--"
"Told,"
"I thought we were pals? Buds? Best friends? Amigos?"
"You,"
"Aww, come on!!!"
"So." Sasuke finished, smirking. "You, dobe, should listen to me more often."
Kakashi shook his head. "That, was sad. We should definitely listen to Sasuke more often."
"Okay." Naruto sighed and leaned back, running his hands through his hair. "Where's the tissues???"
Sasuke handed them to him, and looked at the time. "12 o'clock. What now?"
Sakura, who was still struggling to stop crying, wiped her eyes and smiled. "I'm up for another one."
"I'm bored." Kakashi shrugged.
"I'm also ready for some more!" Naruto grinned.
"Okay." Sasuke smirked. "But this time, I pick the movie."
~Le 15 minutes later~
"Great, it's this one." Sakura sighed.
"Well, it's better than Lion King." Sasuke smirked, looking at the previews.
"I still can't believe that was one of your suggestions." Naruto shook his head in astonishment.
"Hey, I said like Scar, okay?"
What's the movie, you may be asking?
Divergent.
Because Sasuke, the last Uchiha and prodigy of the clan, enjoys the adventures of Tris Prior.
Because who doesn't?
Well, besides Sakura, who was in tears consistently throughout the series.
But overall, it ended up being more fun than Sasuke expected.
And after that, there were many more Team 7 movie nights.
