Its was that one fateful day when I stepped into the gates of Konoha High. I was no one more but a transferee by then. But since my bestfriend, Naruto studied here, the awkwardess slowly faded away.

Even if I still attracted a lot of girls in this school, I knew to myself that no female on earth can meet my standards.

Or so I thought..

It was then when me and Naruto had lunch together at the cafeteria.

As we were busy laughing, someone caught my attention.

I rapidly averted to the two girls giggling, as they seated on a table, not that far from ours..

That was when I first saw you.

The way you laugh, the way you smile...

I can't comprehend, but it brings a fuzzy feeling inside of me. The moment Naruto saw me stunned that time, he asked me,

"Teme, who are you looking at?"

That made me snap back to reality before I completely got hypnotized by your marvelous eyes.

Making me ask,

"Naruto, who is she?"

Because I knew to myself that I need to know.

My ramen loving friend grinned like a Chesire cat and look at to where I pointed at.

"That's Ino-chan!"

And for the first time in history, I learned to appreciate a woman's name.

Ino..

I looked back to where you sat.

The name suits you. A simple name for a simple girl like you.

You may not meet any of my standards by then, but I knew to myself that you are just something more.

You are just something greater than what I deserve.

The day I found out that we were classmates, I couldn't stop myself from smiling like an idiot.

In fact, I even stole glances at you from time to time. I can't even concentrate on our lessons because of how close our seats were from one another.

And from that day onwards, you are always the one lingering in my mind, Ino.

I knew I had a crush on you by then..

I grew so desprate, to the point that I even deactivated my facebook  account and make another one with a different name to stalk you. At nights, I keep browsing your albums and saved every image of you I found.

You are so special to me, Ino..

After the English exams, we had a practice.

I was the team captain that time, and seeing you there with your friend, made my heart raced. I didn't expected you to watch play me afterall.

So, I did my best to impress you.

Every shot I made, was for you Ino. I did that to make you notice me. I did that, to let you know that you are the only girl in Konoha who makes me feel this way..

When I heard from Naruto that you and your bestfriend shared the same locker next to his, I couldn't explain what I felt.

I was happy.

Thats the reason, I always visited that dobe, even when he just blabs about nonsense.

When the truth is, I just wanna see you..

Remember in the cafeteria?

You and your bestfriend lined up behind of us. I felt so nervous that time, that I didn't have the guts to face you. That's why, I kept my back turned against you.

I felt so silly! I am Sasuke Uchiha, yet I felt like a dork whenever I see you, Ino!

One fateful day,

As I walked down a hallway, we unexpectedly passed by each other. You were with your friend again, and busy talking to her so I guess you didn't noticed me at first.

But when our eyes, suddenly met, I forced myself to smile at you.

Even if my heart was in an erratic state, I knew I need to make a move on you, Ino.

I need to let you know my feelings..

One day, one month before our graduation, I decided to make those silly dreams of mine happen.

I want you, as my girlfriend. And I may not know if you have a boyfriend yet, but I'm more than determined to let you know that I really do like you.

Naruto helped me that time, and we slipped the letter I made you inside you and yout bestfriend's locker.

In hopes that you'll read it and understand me.

It became a daily routine after that.

Everyday at exactly 4:00 in the afternoon, I'll slip love letters in your locker.

But it was then did I saw you leaning on your locker, a week after I started doing that.

My heart pounded once more..

Damn. Only you have this effect on me!

"Hey." I said, concealing the nervousness in my voice. I smirked at you, but you just had a serious face on.

I saw you take in a deep breathe.

"Leave my bestfriend alone.. She already has a boyfriend." You said, that made me more confused.

"What are you talking about?"

You shook your head.

"You like my bestfriend, right?"

Gathering up, the courage, I answered you. This is now or never..

"No. Look, I like you.."

Your eyes widened. My heart sank at your reaction. Could it be, that I was too late?

"B-But those l-letters...."

I smiled at you.

"Were all for you. Haven't you read them?"

You bowed your head. "Y-You really like me, Sasuke?"

"Yes, Ino. I really do.. Why? D-Do you have a b-boyfriend?"

But all those crazy thoughts left my mind when you raised your head, and smiled at me. Answering, "No. A-And I like you too.. Sasuke-kun."

Yes!! Damn!

"R-Really?! M-Meaning... C-Can we um...date?"

You giggled once more. A giggle that served as music to ears.. Damn. Why must you be so beautiful?!

"Sure! But........"

I furrowed my eyebrows. "But what?"

You beamed me another smile.

"My name is Sakura, not Ino."
