Hinata

I still couldn't return home after talking with Naruto. I didn't want to because if Hanabi got word I had talked with Naruto she would start asking me a whole bunch of questions and father would eventually get involved, instead I headed to the park to think.

I sat on one of the swings with Sasuke's scarf neatly placed in my lap and allowed myself to let my thoughts wander.

Naruto said he would help me. He's not like everyone else who's trying to push himself onto me because of my past feelings. I know part of that is my fault, I know I should have spoken a lot sooner but I couldn't.

Tears started to fall from my eyes. Sakura loves him and I wanted to be respectful of that but so do I. Naruto even said he would help me. He knows how much Sakura loves Sasuke but is choosing to help me instead of her.

I shouldn't be happy about that. I shouldn't be happy he's going against one of his best friends and teammate but I am and I don't regret it. I didn't ask him to help me he offered.

Sasuke and he are best friends, if he'll listen to anyone its Naruto

"Why are you crying"? A soft voice called out causing me to open my eyes and look up. I couldn't see him, it was dark and the only source of light was coming from the street lights by the swing I was on. "You'll get it all wet". "It's fine, these are happy tears". "I see, are you planning to give it to someone special"? "Yes, the man I love. He's been away from home for a while and I plan to give it to him once he's back. May I ask what your name is"?

"My name is Toneri and I'm here for you Hinata Hyuga". He said stepping into the light and coming closer to me. He had short white hair, was fair-skinned like me, and was dressed in the same robes as Lord Hagaromo. "Came for me"? All of a sudden I was grabbed from behind causing me to scream, a second later Toneri emitted a green ball of light from his hand and I was unconscious soon after.

Naruto

After returning to the village I heard Hinata scream and immediately took off in that direction only to see her trying to be kidnapped by a masked figure and a guy with white hair.

"Leave her alone"! I yelled as I tried to punch the white-haired guy but he managed to vanish before my eyes as his friend backed up. Soon after I found myself surrounded as more masked men came out of hiding and charged at me.

I punched one, kicked another, punched, jabbed, kicked, pushed off, and backflipped into a spinning kick before I was able to find an opening where I could get away long enough to use the shadow clone jutsu.

My clones immediately formed behind me and started their own fights as I went after the masked man who had Hinata in his arms and smiled to myself as I felt his chakra enter the village.

"Hinata"! I continued to chase after them but more of the masked men continued to come out. I jumped on top of one slamming him to the ground before continuing my chase. Another masked goon tried to sneak up on me but I punched him to the ground. Three of them tried shooting blasts at me but none of them landed a hit.

I managed to roll out the way only to find multiple of them in the air waiting for me. They each readied an attack but I was able to evade and use Rasenshuriken to hit all of them simultaneously and land in front of the masked man that had Hinata. "Let her go"! I charged at him but he managed to evade. Multiple blasts came my way and I was able to dodge them before continuing my chase once more.

Not being able to catch up in time I aimed a rasenshuriken at him but he managed to jump in the air as it chased him but while trying to dodge my attack his grip lessened causing Hinata to fall mid-air, thankfully the scarf she had was able to catch onto a nail stopping her fall. "Hinata, are you alright!?" "Yes, im fine". Before I could even try to reach for her I was met with another blast attack.

Sasuke

Worried for Hinata I kamuied myself to Kenosha as soon as I received his letter, what I didn't expect however was for him to be in a heated battle with a new enemy. I activated my EMS and searched for the both of them right away. Naruto was fighting the enemy while Hinata was holding onto a scarf for dear life.

Without hesitation, I charged over to them. Hinata started to climb her way up the side of the building she was hanging over while the enemy attacked Naruto and he countered but what neither of them saw was the enemy ninja that were trying to sneak up on Hinata and grab her. I activated Amaterasu and burned both of their bodies before picking up my speed.

Two of them tried to jump me but I was able to grab one by the arm, knee him in the stomach, and throw him at his friend before blasting them both with a blast of fire. As soon as I was done with them the scarf broke in half but I was able to jump in the air at the last second and catch her in my arms. "S Sasuke, your back". She whispered. I simply smiled down at her while Naruto finished up the goons.

Once we were a safe distance away I landed on a roof letting her down. Immediately she sat down on her knees with the torn scarf in her lap.

It must've been important to her

"I'm sorry about your scarf Hina". I kneeled beside her. "It's ok ....I'm glad you made it in time". "Did you know the people that attacked you"? "No". From the corner of my eye I could see a man with white hair appear and immediately stood up ready for anything. "The final day is fast approaching, before then I'm going to come back for you". He spoke to Hinata before disappearing.

"He didn't hurt you did he"? "No, thanks to both you and Naruto". "Hinata"! Naruto yelled making his way over to us. "If it's alright with you I'll be taking Hinata home, she's been through enough for one night". He nodded. "Thanks, Sasuke, rest well Hinata".

"Thank you again for coming". "I came as soon as I received Naruto's letter saying he wanted to talk about you. Is everything ok Hina"? She nodded. "Just glad your home is all". She smiled but I could tell it was forced. "Hinata-". "Sasuke, your back"!I mentally groaned as Sakura ran up to us.

"I didn't know you were coming back tonight, you should've told me so I could've waited for you at the gate". "Why would I do that"? She looked at me shocked, then looked down not sure what to say. When she looked back up at me I cut her off before she had time to speak again. "If you don't mind we'll be on our way. I'm escorting Hinata home".

I tugged on her arm gently for her to follow me but Sakura stopped us once more. "I'm not sure how safe the Hyuga estate is right now, Hanabi's been kidnapped". We both looked at her shocked.
