"Do you need anything before I go"? I asked getting ready to head home and go into the office. "No, I'll probably go home to my parent's house if lord Hashirama doesn't have any work for me". "Good idea. I'll probably have to go home tonight but I'll try my best to sneak away when I get an opportunity".

"That all depends if you're able to get away from the office, to begin with". "Whatever I have to do I'll take it home with me and do it here". "What if someone from the office goes to the mansion looking for you"? "I'll leave a clone there".

"Hinata I'm home"! I called out after making my way through the front door. I headed upstairs to change into a fresh pair of clothes but didn't see her anywhere upstairs. When I came back downstairs and headed into the kitchen I found a note folded neatly on the table waiting for me.

Dear Naruto

I'm sorry I didn't have breakfast ready for you when you came home. I honestly don't know if you're coming home this morning or not, you usually have your secretary bring you something to eat or you order in. I didn't feel like waiting on you to make up your mind on whether you were coming home or not so I didn't waste any time on preparing food for you just so you could waste it. If you are reading this you'll notice I'm not there.

I went to my sister's house to spend some quality time with her. Unlike you, she actually appreciates and loves me. I don't know when I'll be back so you don't have to feel guilty about leaving me home alone, I'm fine where I am. With how busy you are I doubt you'll even notice my absence.

I said nothing and took out my phone.

Me: Hanabi, is Hinata there? I need to speak with her

Hanabi: She is but I'm not putting her on the phone. She's sleeping right now and made it very clear to me that she doesn't want to see or talk to you right now

Me: I'm here husband Hanabi

Hanabi: So what? My sister's well-being will always come before yours. The bottom line is you did something to upset her and I'm not going to let you talk with her until she tells me otherwise, goodbye now

She hung up on me before I had the chance to say anything else

"How does that feel baby"? Sasuke groaned a bit as I messaged his shoulders for him. We had packed a few of my things and went to his apartment to spend some quality time together. If Naruto could go out and have fun with the person he actually loves I could as well.

"Amazing, you always did give the best messages". "Well, that's because you're always so tense my love". "I wouldn't be so tense if I didn't have to work with a bunch of idiots. How are you feeling though"? "I do feel a bit better after writing that letter for Naruto".

"Well, if he didn't see it coming that's his fault, not yours". "I know, I'm just waiting for all of this to be over with so I can be married to you instead". "Soon my love, very soon".

When I was finished I made my way over and nuzzled into his side. "Do you still have my necklace"? It was tradition for every Uchiha to give a necklace to the person they loved most in the world. "I do, I've kept it in a safe place for when you're ready to wear it proudly again".

"Really? I thought after our breakup you would have gotten rid of it". "If I had that would mean I had given up on us and that's something that will never happen, it doesn't matter how many times we're separated from each other. I will always come back to you". "Oh, Sasuke". I nuzzled my head more into his neck.

"I've missed days like this, where I could just hold you in my arms and be content". "I've missed it too, I'm finally able to feel safe once again. With you around I don't have to constantly worry about my father's furry towards me". "I will never let him lay a hand on you, you or Hanabi".

"Thank you, Sasuke". He kissed my head. "You will be well taken care of once again my Princess, you will never know what fear feels like or be anxious ever again. Whatever you want, whatever you'll need you'll have it and much more".

"I love you so much". "I love you to my lotus blossom". Happy tears filled my eyes as we lay together on the couch secure and content in each other's arms.

When the day was coming to an end I made my way home to Sakura. She was sitting on the couch watching tv but looked up and smiled as I made my way inside with the bag of takeout I had gotten us. "Hi naru". "Hey there beautiful". I made my way over to her and kissed the top of her head before sitting next to her and setting the food in front of us both.

For her, I had ordered her favorite sweet and savory chicken over boiled noodles and for myself miso ramen, we each had a slice of vanilla cake for dessert and green tea to wash it all down.

"Thank you". She kissed my cheek before grabbing her chopsticks and taking a bite. "How are the two of you"? I asked before taking a bite of my own food. "We're fine. What about you"? "I couldn't be better actually, Hinata doesn't realize this yet but she just gave me the perfect out of our marriage. I'm going to go over to her father's house tomorrow and I want you there with me". "Alright".
