Sasuke

Neither of them knew I was outside listening in on their conversation. I knew Naruto. I knew he would want to be there for Sakura after finding out she was going to have his baby. I also knew it was only a matter of time before he hurt Hinata.

"You are aware Sakura's pregnant right"? She nodded. "I overheard the two of you talking at the cafe the other day but wasn't able to listen to everything". "I wish you had, if you had you would've heard me tell her that the baby isn't mine. The baby can't be mine because the two of us haven't slept together and never will".

"She loves you though". "No she doesn't Hina. She loves Naruto, not me. She's going to have a baby for him". I took out my phone and played the recording for her. I hated seeing her beautiful lavender eyes fill up with so much sadness and betrayal. What hurt more was seeing her break down and cry into her hands, immediately I took her into my arms and held her.

"I'm so sorry Hina". "I knew he didn't love me, I've always known that. I don't know why I'm acting like this, I'm sorry". I placed my finger underneath her chin and gently lifted her head up. "You never have to apologize to me for anything, especially not when all you wanted from him was to give you the love I had given you but don't you understand my love? I gently pushed her onto the bed and hovered over her. "Sasuke". She whispered looking me in the eyes. What we had was special. You changed me in ways I didn't think possible and for that, I will be eternally grateful. Come back to me Hinata, let me give you the love you've been longing for for years.

You don't need Naruto, you don't need your father, I'll take care of you. I'll give you the love you crave so badly and be the husband you deserve". "Sasuke". Tears glistened in her eyes but for a completely different reason this time.

Without saying a word we both leaned in and kissed each other. It was tender and slow at first but soon turned into something passionate and fierce. She sat up taking her towel off as we continued to kiss and forced me to turn over on my back.

"Say it again". She whispered, her eyes a mixture of desperation and love for me. "I love you my lotus blossom". I spoke softly cupping her cheek.
