Hinata

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside my window and sat up letting out a yawn as I stretched. "Morning lady Hinata". Lyric one of my maids smiled coming in with a set of clothes for me. "Morning Lyric". I got up and went brush my teeth as she did my hair for me then got dressed in the lilac kimono she had picked out.

"Breakfast is ready". "Thank you, will father be there"? "No, I'm afraid lord Hisashi is busy working in his office this morning". "Oh I see, that quiet alright then. I know he's busy". I made my way downstairs and sat at the table hoping at least Neji would be able to eat with me but he wasn't down here either, there was always Hanabi but she's only one.

"Is there anything you would like to do today lady Hinata? We could go for a walk through the village or perhaps go shopping"?

Sasuke

"Sasuke, come down for breakfast"! Papa yelled from downstairs. I groaned whipping the sleep out of my eyes before making my way down the staircase and over to the breakfast table. "Morning baby". Papa said placing my plate infront of me before kissing my cheek.

"Any plans today"? Dad asked. "Not really, I might go play with Neji for a bit". He nodded. "Be careful and don't go too far from the village". "Ok papa". I smiled before taking a bite.

"What about you Mashi"? She shrugged. "I might go see what Ino's up to, Itachi Nii left already and Obito Nii's with Kakashi sensei today so". "Oh I see". Papa chuckled.

After breakfast I made my way over to the lake hoping Neji would be there already so we could play spar for a but but what I saw instead was something I never thought she'd do. Sitting by the river hugging herself was none other then Neji's little cousin Hinata. I've seen her around the village a few times but never by herself.

Usually I wouldn't concern myself with anyone else I have no connection or ties to but I couldn't help but find myself walking over to and sitting beside her. "What's wrong Hyuga"? She jumped a little before looking up at me shocked. "S Sasuke".

"Well"? "It's nothing". She looked down. "It's never nothing when someone runs off to hide so spill". "I felt lonely this morning............". "Lonely, why"? "It seems as if my father never has time for me, my sister is too young to play or talk with and father always has Neji busy doing something".

"I see".

That's completely different from my house

"I'm sorry". She sniffed. "Ever since mama left he's become more distant with each passing day. At least when she was her I had someone I could talk to and who I knew loved me".

I looked at the water sadly. "I still have both my parents so I can't sit here and pretend I know how your feeling but I am sympathetic to how your feeling, just the thought of possibly losing my dad or papa hurts". "Why did you stay"?

"I don't know honestly but what I do know is that I don't want to leave you when your like this. We don't have to talk if you don't want to, we can just sit together". "Are you sure"? I nodded. "Thank you Sasuke".
