CHAPTER THREE.
LOKI, WHO?
ALEXIOS COULD ONLY WATCH the scenes unfold. Loki angered her, she couldn't wait to take him down and force him to face the consequences. Something all the Avengers wanted at this point.
Alex's breathing hitched as the god raised his scepter to an elderly man standing among those who kneeled. She worried about the man, praying he would get to go home to his family. A gasp slipped past her lips as a blue beam was shot, but was quickly intercepted by Captain Rogers' shield as he jumped in front of the man. Alexios watched in amazement as the beam was reflected and shot off in another direction and hurt no one, but Loki.
Captain Rogers stood up, bravely walking towards Loki.
"You know, last time I was in Germany and saw a man standing above everybody else, we ended up disagreeing." Rogers spoke, nearing towards Loki with every word.
"The soldier," Loki laughed as he stood up, which only made Alexios scowl. "The man out of time."
"I'm not the one out of time," Captain Rogers remarked, the quinjet preparing behind him.
Natasha pointed to switch and Alexios reached above her, clicking it on. Underneath her, guns were exposed and aimed at Loki. A smirk pained Alex's lips as Nat grasped the microphone.
"Loki, drop the weapon and stand down."
Alexios gripped the back of Natasha's seat to balance herself as Nat tilted away from the blue beam being hurtled at them. Once stabled again, Alex watched the fight unfolding between Loki and the Captain. She nearly winced when Rogers was thrown back by the scepter and rolled towards the fountain. Captain Rogers recovered quickly, kneeling as he glared up at the god.
"Should I go?" Alex asked, pulling her hair back into a pony and mentally preparing herself. Natasha looked back at the blonde and smirked.
"Go ahead."
Another switch was flipped as the quinjet was lowered to the ground for a safer landing. Alexios jumped down, thanking the designer of the catsuit she was wearing for best movement.
Alexios' palms snapped open, igniting flames as she strutted towards the men fighting. She waited for a second, wanting her move to be perfect. That was ruined, however, when Loki hit Rogers against the back and sent him flying again. Loki began his walk towards Rogers, placing the end of his scepter on the Captain's helmet.
"Yo!" Alex shouted, "Wanna back off my friend?"
Loki's head snapped in her direction, his eyes narrowed at her, then to the fire in her hands. A wave of confusion washed over him when he saw that the blonde woman before him wasn't in pain.
The god smirked, "You would like that, wouldn't you? How about I have a stab at you?"
Alex laughed, egging Loki on. Captain Rogers looked up when he no longer felt the force of the scepter pushing down on his head. Through the helmet, he gave a disapproving expression to Alexios.
She taunted, "Bring it on, brother."
Loki sauntered forward, but stopped when a flame was thrown towards him. His glance went towards the flame that was now on the ground at his feet, then returned it to Alexios. His scepter was raised again, but she dodged the beam quickly.
Captain Rogers stood up quickly, rushing behind Loki to make a move. Loki spun around, hitting Rogers before he was attacked. With his back turned, Alexios shot another flame at him and ignited the green cape.
Her mouth dropped in surprise when the cape didn't burn. She scoffed, becoming rather annoyed when Loki turned to her again.
Alexios rolled her eyes, hearing music through the air. She fought the urge to smile when she heard the clear lyrics to Shoot To Thrill by AC/DC.
The three looked towards the quinjet, where the song was playing from. An object, painted in red and yellow, soared through the sky. Captain Rogers and Alex looked to Loki as he was shot with a bright beam that sent him to the ground. Alex looked back as the object landed with a thud.
She groaned audibly, the one and only Iron Man standing before her.
"Make a move, reindeer games." Iron Man dared the god, pointing multiple little weapons at him.
Captain Rogers stood up, rushing to Stark's side as he slid the shield back onto his arm. Alexios strutted to Stark's left side, placing her hands on her hips in a sassy manner, smirking at Loki who was crumbled on the stairs. She stared in disbelief when the god surrendered and his armor disappeared.
"You've got to be kidding me!" Alexios muttered.
Stark lowered his weapons, ignoring the woman's comment. "Good move," he told Loki.
"Mr. Stark," Rogers panted as he greeted the billionaire.
Stark cast a glance at the man. "Captain," then to the woman beside him. "Ma'am."

ALEXIOS STOOD AGAINST THE wall of the quinjet, arms crossed and eyes focused on Loki. She could faintly hear the conversation that Stark and Captain Rogers were having near the back.
She looked up when thunder crackled above them and around them. Lightning flashed. Yet, none of it has affected Alex.
"What? Scared of a little lightning?" Rogers asked, facing to turn Alex and Loki.
"Scaredy cat," she murmured, rolling her eyes.
Loki's expression fell. "I'm not overly fond of what follows."
A thunk sounded on the roof of the jet, startling them all. Lightning flashed once more, and made Rogers and Stark move towards their helmets. Tony was ready first, his helmet fitting on his face and he moved towards the ramp, clicking a button.
"What're you doing?" Rogers shouted over the wind.
Alexios stared at him like he was insane, still stomping towards the exit. Another man landed on the ramp, kneeling as he hit the surface. The man stood up, wielding a hammer and threw it at Tony.
Stark was knocked down, pushed back into Steve. The hammer was back in the man's hand, and it was pointed at Alexios in a threatening manner as he stomped forward. Loki was pulled up and broken from the straps, only to be placed in a chokehold by the other blond man. She watched in fear as they both left, jumping from the jet.
Tony stood up, going towards the exit as well. He sighed, "Now there's that guy."
"Another Asgardian?" Natasha asked, looking back to the trio.
"Think that guy's a friendly?" Steve questioned, standing up after a moment.
"Doesn't matter." Tony replied quickly, "If he frees Loki or kills him, the Tesseract is lost."
Stark turned around, heading towards the ramp again. Rogers heaved a deep breath.
"Stark, we need a plan of attack!"
Alexios scoffed, slowly regaining herself. She watched as he continued forward, then stopped. Stark looked back towards Steve.
"I have a plan," Stark stated, "Attack."
Alex shouted at him, "Are you crazy?"
With that, Tony flew from the quinjet and followed after the two gods. Steve huffed, rushing forward and grasped a parachute. In swift movements, he had the chute around his body and secured, arguing against Natasha about this situation.
Alexios scoffed as Captain Rogers jumped from the ramp. After he was clear, she stumbled forward and hit the button, watching the ramp close up.
Natasha looked back to the blonde, "Not gonna go after them?"
"Nah," Alex shook her head. "I'm not insane like them, dear god."
"Good, let's turn this thing around." She muttered, tilting the quinjet around.
