Sara Warden was a human Noble. She was very beautiful, courted by the Counts and Barrens of Thedas. one day at a ball in Orlais, she sort of 'ran' into Varalhen. Varalhen was a elven man, he instantly fell in love with Sara. Sara apologized for running into him, he replied by asking her if she would have this dance. They danced the whole night. As they left he turned and asked Sara if she would marry him, to his utter disbelief... she said yes.

 2 years after their marriage, Sara gave birth to the first born child. Hawke. Hawke was a healthy baby adored by his father and mother. sortly after Sara gave birth to another boy. they named this boy Carver.

 One day Carver stumbled upon his parents in the middle of a meeting. they were discussing the birth of a force that would later be know as the Grey Wardens. the Wardens had one job. and that job was to protect the land from the Darkspawn and any magical threat. The Wardens were formed sortly after. Varalhen was named Warden Commander, and placed in charge of the entire order.

 The Wardens first fort was built. it was located at Blood Vile.
