The volunteers from the 24th Colonist Group solemnly swore to the vast universe that all of the remaining inhabitants of Earth would experience the much safer trip to Alpha Centauri that wasn't nearly as catastrophic as theirs was.

And now with the new and improved Resolute, ready for the 25th Colonist Group passengers, nothing should go wrong.

But due to Murphy's Law, everything can.

As Nailah Cosgrove embarks on her journey as a first-time-flyer, an ominous feeling plagues her in this new Resolute. A vile whisper within the darkest cracks and crevices of the very walls she was supposed to find refuge in.

What seems like thunder before the storm is far worse than anyone could expect.
