Sorry for it being so late!
Summary: 2/5
I'm not sure why the first part of the summary is in all caps...and has so many ellipses. I've been called out for using too many elllipses in my own (I had I think three over all), but even then, you have too many. If it's to separate sentences, using a period is just fine. If it's for suspense, it doesn't seem to have achieved that effect. From the looks of it, it looks like a quote from your story. If so, add a little dialogue tag to give an idea of the emotions behind the statement. I don't think it needs to be in all capital letters either.
** taken to Tristan Da Cunha, world's most remote inhabited island.**
Judging from the overall idea of the story, I'm guessing you meant 'the world's most remote uninhabited island'. You also need a 'the' before world's.
The second to last sentence also sat a little funny in my stomach.
**After many failed attempts of leaving ,these mysterious people are hunting for Emily but what if she becomes the Hunter Herself?**
First off, the comma will always hang off the word before it, not attached to the word after it. Second, you didn't mention mysterious people before but wrote, 'these mysterious people'. Third, I don't know why you capitalized the last couple of words. Here would be my suggestion on editing this sentence:
**After many failed attempts of leaving, and having mysterious people hunting for her, Emily is forced to question herself. What if she becomes the hunter?**
Grammar: 2/5
You've got unnecessary commas in places that don't need a comma and tense shifts with your verbs within the first chapter. The tense shifts (from my point of view) come from the fact that you write your verbs in mostly past tense, but there were some points where you'd write them in the present tense. I'd suggest going through it with an editor (maybe someone from our community).
When you're writing dialogue, if you have a dialogue tag, use a comma and not a period.
** "My keys," I said, and took them from her" **
Also... Ain't is not a word!
Character Building: 1/5
There didn't seem like there was time for this, in my eyes. We're introduced to Emily, then a weird lady who seems to recruit young, non-vegetarian girls for rich men. In all of this, Emily assumes things that aren't natural, or forseeable and calls another girl her 'best friend', even though she states that they aren't friends. It makes her seem like a skittish, almost unrelatable character.
Also, if you're going to use a psychological disease, at least do some research on it. She wouldn't be labelled as a schizophrenic... Emily would be diagnosed as a psychopath (I think the knives in her parents head and finding it fun would be tell tale signs).
Writing Style: 1/5
Your descriptions tend to seem a little bland, almost like the MC is telling it to us constantly. Instead, show it to us. I'll use an example from chapter 1:
**I turned my around and saw a beautiful woman. She was middle aged and was standing with a huge smile plastered on her face. I examined her...Anyone could figure that out** (I didn't want to type everything out that you wrote, just a little bit. )
Here's my take on this area:
**As I turned around, I bumped into a beautiful woman. She wore a floor length dress of exquisite nature; the fabric looked like water flowing in the calm seas. Everything about her seemed to scream high class, except for the massive scars on her arms. **
How could Emily know they were scars from brutal abuse? Is she an expert on abuse or has she been abused? The last sentence of that chapter didn't sit well with me, because it doesn't make sense that she'd assume that about a stranger she doesn't know. There'd have to be more context on Emily's character to be able to assume that and there wasn't any.
Adding pictures in the middle of the story isn't something I usually see and doesn't look too good. If you have to add them in as 'descriptions' try asking for help on how to describe your characters. You shouldn't have to use pictures in the middle of a chapter.
Plot + Originality: 2/5
Funny thing (or ironic if you ask me), Animals by Maroon 5 started playing when I was writing this review.
The plot's definitely unique (I've never seen something like this ever), but it's so rushed. The entire first chapter seemed like a video that was moving too fast, but the wifi was slow and therefore, there were lagging parts and gaping holes. I suggest slowing things down to where it doesn't feel like you're rushing to get parts in.
OVERALL SCORE: 8/25
