Oliver: (voice over) "My name is Oliver Queen."
From 2.01 "City of Heroes", in the cemetery, Jill was sitting at Tommy's grave in guilt.
Jill: (voice over) "I'm Jill Wright."
From 1.06 "Legacies", in flashback to the cave on Lian Yu, Oliver was aiding Jill after they saved her from the soldiers.
Oliver lifted the back of her shirt to reveal carved tally marks in her back that were bleeding and scarred. They were all over her back, the tally marks small to include all of the number of the days. There were a few in her shoulders, as the skin of her back couldn't hold it all.
Jill: (voice over) "After five years on a hellish island..."
From 1.23 "Sacrifice", in flashback to the soldier camp, Jill jumped down from the missile launcher, taking cover.
The missile hit the ground at the soldier camp, setting it ablaze.
Jill sat back tiredly on the ground, watching the flames.
From 1.06 "Legacies", in the hideout, Oliver and Jill were training at the hideout with two metal short staffs. Oliver and shirtless. Jill was in workout clothes, including a sports bra. Oliver swung both of his up over their heads, trying to come down on her. Jill raised both of hers in an X shape to block both of his.
Jill: (voice over) "We have come to Starling City with only one goal."

Oliver was watching from nearby, getting suited up.
John and Justin walked closer.
Jill: (voice over) "To save the city."

Oliver: (voice over) "But to do so..."
From 1.16 "Dead to Rights", on the helipad, Oliver/Arrow and Guillermo Barrera were fighting. Oliver stabbed him with an arrow, killing him.
Oliver: (voice over) "I can't be the killer I once was."
From 1.19 "Unfinished Business", in the lab at the asylum, Oliver/Arrow stabbed the orderly in the chest with an arrow, killing him.
From 1.23 "Sacrifice", in Merlyn Global Group, Tommy and Oliver/Arrow helped Jill/Sapphire inside to get them to the ground outside.
The building was falling apart around them.
Tommy saw rubble falling toward them, pushing them out of the way.
The debris fell onto Tommy, making him fall, pinning him down.
Jill started to pull the debris away.
A pipe had been stabbed into Tommy's chest.
Oliver and Jill were horrified.
Oliver: (voice over) "To honor my friend's memory, I must be someone else."
From 2.01 "City of Heroes", in the cemetery, Oliver and Jill stood at Tommy's grave.
From 2.01 "City of Heroes", in the foundry, Oliver and Jill walked in to join John, Justin and Felicity.
Jill: (voice over) "I must be..."
Jill looked at the knife in her hand. She morphed into Sapphire.
Jill: (voice over) "Something else."
Oliver looked at the arrow in his hand. He morphed into Arrow.
➣ ➣
From 2.04 "Crucible", in the conference room of QC, Oliver and Isabel were talking.
John: (voice over) "Previously on Sapphire Arrow."
"As much as I would love to make this city safer, my first obligation is to Queen Consolidated," Isabel told him. "And yours is, too."
From 1.20 "Home Invasion", in a building, John and Lyla Michaels were talking.
"I did some reading up on Lawton," Lyla told him.
"Lyla, listen," John told her.
They stopped walking.
"Did you really think I wouldn't find out that he killed your brother?" Lyla asked. "That you were using me?"
"I need to see this guy in a bag," John told her. "You, of all people, should get that."
From 1.16 "Dead to Rights", in the hallway of Merlyn Global, Jill/Sapphire faced Kira and Karma, drawing her swords.
Kira and Karma stood together. Kira drew her staff. Karma drew blades. They stood ready to fight.
Lyla: (voice over from 2.04 Crucible) "You remember the twins from the Triad? Kira and Karma Mahageni?"
From 2.04 "Crucible", in a park, John and Lyla were talking.
"Yeah," John answered. "They're the ones that told us about the Undertaking. Helped us save many lives."
"My end of our deal was to set up the meeting between them and your vigilante friends so that they could tell them," Lyla told him. "Their end of the deal is helping me catch Deadshot, alive."
From 1.12 "Vertigo", in the auto shop, Jill, Justin and John were talking to Bratva member Alexi Leonov.
"Good to see you," Jill told him.
"Long time," Alexi told her. "Particularly for Bratva captain. Miss Wright."
From 2.04 "Crucible", in flashback on the freighter, Oliver was on the floor, holding his gunshot wound in pain, groaning.
Anatoly was on the other side of his cell.
Alexi: (voice over from 1.12 Vertigo) "Anatoly Knyazev..."
From 1.12 "Vertigo", in the auto shop, Jill, John, Justin and Alexi were talking.
"He speaks very highly of you," Alexi told her.
"He should," Jill told him. "I saved his life."
Justin looked between them in confusion.
From 2.05 "League of Assassins", in the clock tower, Jill/Sapphire, Oliver/Arrow and Amy/Ruby were talking.
Amy had tears in her eyes, nodding, looking down. "They are never going to stop looking for me."
"Amy..." Jill trailed off.
"I'm not going to let you get killed for me," Amy told her.
Jill had tears in her eyes. "I just got you back. I'm not going to lose you again." They embraced, starting to cry. "I can't let you go."
Amy took a shaky breath. "You have to."
Oliver watched them in regret.
➣ ➣
Day One
Night - Verdant - Outside (Alley)
Roy walked toward the alley wall, putting the knife that Jill had given him in the alley wall, looking around, walking away.
➣
Queen Consolidated - Oliver's Office
Oliver and Isabel were talking.
"You were supposed to sign this report at last night's board meeting," Isabel told him. "You know why you didn't?"
"Probably because I didn't attend last night's board meeting," Oliver answered.
"Where were you?" Isabel asked.
"I have other interests outside of this company," Oliver told her.
"I don't," Isabel told him. "I thought you were serious when you said we were partners."
"Isabel, I missed one meeting," Oliver told her.
"This week," Isabel told him. "Last week, it was two meetings."
Oliver sighed. "Company wide revenue is at double digits since you and I took over."
Isabel looked around. "And I see that your little assistant isn't around. Where is she, I might ask, other than not at her job? She misses work more than you do, and that has to be a record."
Oliver sighed. "She has evening plans."
➣
Jill / Sapphire:
Warehouse - Outside
Roy was watching people get out of a car.
Jill/Sapphire appeared behind him, disguising her voice. "You should be more careful." Roy jumped. "You're completely exposed."
"I knew you were there," Roy told her unconvincingly. "What, you wanted me to tell you when the funny money guys were ready to make a sale? Here we go."
"Not 'we'," Jill told him. "Go home."
Jill walked inside.
➣
Inside
An exchange was going on inside between a group of males.
"Here's the fake," Man 1 told them, showing them a briefcase. "Let's see the real."
Man 2 showed them a bag of money.
Jill threw an explosive onto the bag of money, making it catch on fire. She threw a knife into Man 2's leg, making him fall to his knees. She came up from behind Man 3, hitting him in the back of the legs with the unbladed edge of her sword, making him fall to the ground. She threw a knife into Man 4's hand, pinning him to a crate.
➣
Outside
Man 5 made a run for it outside. Roy ran toward him, tackling him to the ground by the car, punching him in the face.
➣
Inside
Jill kicked Man 6 in the back, making him fall, turning to Man 1.
"You got two right above you," John told her. Jill turned to throw two knives into the legs of Man 7 and 8 on the balcony above, making them fall. "Now there's just six."
Man 9 tried to punch Jill. Jill ducked, kicking him in the leg. Man 9 tried to punch her. Jill ducked, spinning to backhand punch him in the face hard enough to make him fall unconscious. Man 10 ran closer, trying to punch Jill. Jill ducked, backhand punching him in the face, kicking him in the chest, making him fall. Man 11 ran closer, trying to punch her. Jill raised her arm to block the move, punching him in the face twice, spinning to kick him in the head, making him fall. Man 12 used a plank to hit Jill in the back. Jill turned to face him, kicking him in the chest, making him back away. Man 12 tried to hit her with the plank. Jill ducked, catching the edge of the plank, pushing it back to hit Man 12 in the face, making him fall, using the plank to hit Man 13 in the head, making him fall unconscious, turning around to throw the plank into the head of Man 1, making him fall unconscious.
➣
Outside
Police were outside, arresting Man 5 and Roy.
Jessica aimed her gun. "Stay where you are. Don't move."
Lance pulled Roy to his feet. "I want to make a citizen's arrest."
➣
Inside
Jill heard the sirens, running out, dashing away into the night before she could be caught.
➣
Outside
John had been standing outside to watch inside through binoculars, putting them away. "That's it. I'm clear."
Two men appeared next to John, tasering him into unconsciousness.
Man 1 spoke into a radio. "Task force X to Viper and Cobra. We have the prize, and we're coming home."
➣ Sapphire Arrow ➣
Warehouse
John was zip tied to a chair. A hood was taken off his head. John looked away from a bright light.
A man cut his wrists free.
John looked around in confusion. "Who are you people? NSA? CIA?"
The door opened. Three girls walked in, only visible from their legs down.
"Not quite," the woman answered.
John sighed, looking at the two girls to see that the Mahageni twins. "Kira and Karma."
"That's right," Karma told him.
"My name is Amanda Waller," the woman told him.
"I thought you ARGUS guys were supposed to be more subtle," John told them.
"For us, this was subtle," Karma told him.
"Then I want to see Lyla Michaels," John told them.
"So do we," Kira told him. "Agent Michaels has gone dark."
"Lyla's missing?" John asked. "What happened?"
"She was running down a lead in Moscow," Amanda told him. "She's missed two of her scheduled call-ins."
"Well, what are you doing about it?" John asked.
"Speaking to you," Amanda answered. "Even if we knew where in Russia Lyla is, my superiors believe sending in an extraction team could cause an international incident," Kira told him. As far as they're concerned, she's already a framed picture on our lobby wall."
"Why are you telling me all this?" John asked.
"Because we know how you, Oliver Queen and Jill Wright spend your nights," Karma answered. "And we know your passport is up to date."
John sighed. "It would help to start with what Lyla was doing in Moscow in the first place. What was this lead she was tracking down?"
"A line on the whereabouts of Floyd Lawton," Kira answered.
John ground his teeth together in anger. "Deadshot." He sighed. "Lyla was in Russia for me."
"Agent Michaels is an asset I can't easily replace," Amanda told him. "I know you find her similarly irreplaceable."
"Kira and I will help you bring her home," Kira told him.
"Why would you two help me?" John asked.
"Because finding and taking down Deadshot was part of our deal," Karma answered. "And Lyla was the woman that we made the deal with."
"Plus, we're not heartless," Kira told him.
"I know," John told them. "You proved that when you told us about the Undertaking."
"Then trust us enough to let us help you save your girl," Karma told him.
Amanda walked out, leaving.
➣
Starling City Police Department
Roy was sitting in a chair, handcuffed.
Jessica walked toward him, holding a file. "Thanks. It's been a while since I arrested you. I'd forgotten how good it feels."
"I was working for... her," Roy told her.
"Her who?" Jessica asked.
"The girl who cost you your shield with the help of another guy," Roy answered. "I'm on their team. You are, too. Right?"
Jessica looked at him silently, not giving an answer.
Thea walked in, sighing. "Anybody else having serious deja vu?"
Thea stood next to Jessica, crossing her arms over her chest, looking at Roy.
"That's all right," Jessica told her. "We're letting him go. It was our mistake." Roy was stunned but appreciative. Jessica walked around Roy to kneel behind him, unlocking his handcuffs. They both stood, looking at Thea. "He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time."
Thea looked at Roy. "Okay, uh, let's just get out of here before anyone changes their mind."
Thea walked toward the door.
Roy started to follow.
Jessica turned to watch them.
Roy stopped at the door, looking at Jessica, nodding in thanks.
Jessica nodded in return.
➣
Verdant - Foundry
Oliver and Jill were in the foundry with Justin and Felicity, wearing normal clothes, watching the news on the computers about a particular accelerator turning on in Central City further down the road.
Woman: (voice over)"The potential catastrophic risks of turning on this machine far outweigh any scientific gain that might come from it. The people need to understand just how dangerous technology like this is. And the very real possibility of a cataclysmic event."
John walked in.
"Where'd you go?" Justin asked. "Is everything okay?"
John walked toward the table, grabbing a bag. "Yeah. Just need a few personal days."
"What's going on?" Oliver asked.
"Have to help a friend," John told them.
"Who?" Jill asked.
"Lyla Michaels," John answered.
"It's his spy girlfriend that works for ARGUS," Felicity told them.
"She went to Russia looking for Deadshot, for me," John told them. "Now she's missing."
"Jill, Justin, Felicity... I think it's time we visited our Queen Consolidated subsidiary in Moscow," Oliver told her.
"Yeah," Felicity agreed.
John walked closer. "What are you doing?"
Justin used his words against him. "Just need to help a friend."
"I can't ask any of you to do that," John told them.
"You didn't," Jill told him.
John smiled a small smile.
Oliver and Jill exchanged a smirk.
➣
Flashback - Five Years Ago
Day - Freighter - Torture Room
Oliver was on his knees, breathing heavily.
Sara stood in front of him, pretending not to know him.
"Sara..." Oliver trailed off in confusion.
"Don't say my name," Sara told him. "If they know I know you, they'll kill us both."
"I thought you drowned," Oliver told her.
"When I came up, the boat was gone," Sara told him. "And I thought you were, too. And I was floating out there for days when this ship... they found me. And they saved me."
"Is that why you're here?" Oliver asked.
"I don't have a choice," Sara told him. They heard footsteps from outside. "Shh."
Ivo walked in. "My name's Ivo. What's your name?"
Oliver looked at Sara.
Sara shook her head silently, telling him not to tell Ivo who he really was, and not to tell him about their past.
Oliver looked at Ivo. "Tommy."
"So, how did you come to be on this island, Tommy?" Ivo asked. "I assume it wasn't by choice."
"My, uh, boat was shipwrecked here," Oliver answered. "And I was the only survivor."
"Well, I'm sorry to hear that," Ivo told him. "Did you explore the island much?"
"Some of it," Oliver answered. "Why?"
Ivo sat down on a stool with a notebook. "You didn't happen to run across a Japanese imperial Navy submarine, did you?" Oliver looked at him in confusion. "During World War II, every country was trying to develop the ultimate weapon. The United States had the Manhattan Project, of course; the Nazis had Das Uranverein. And the Japanese, well, they had Mirakuru."
"Stem cell and genetic therapies, decades ahead of their time," Sara told him.
Ivo nodded in agreement. "Every war advances the cause of science. And the Japanese, they had developed a serum that caused increased strength. Rapid cell regeneration. They called it Mirakuru."
Sara translated the Japanese word. "'Miracle'."
"Thought they could create an army of super soldiers," Ivo told him. "They were transporting their only supply via submarine when that sub came under heavy fire by the Allied forces. And it ran aground in this chain of islands." He stood, walking toward Oliver. "Thanks to you, we now know it's this island."
Oliver glared at Ivo. "You killed my friends."
"Which means it's up to you to help us find that sub," Ivo told him.
Oliver sighed heavily, looking down.
➣
Now
Day Two
Morning - Airport
Justin drove the car up to the airport, getting out. John, Oliver, Jill and Felicity got out with him.
They walked toward the private plane that was waiting for them.
"Are you forgetting something?" John asked.
Isabel got out of her car. "Where do you think you're going?"
"Tahiti," Felicity told her.
"That's funny," Isabel told them sarcastically, walking closer. "The flight manifest says you're going to Moscow."
"Well, we're going to stop by there, you know, after Tahiti," Felicity told her.
"What kind of partner decides to interact with our overseas holdings behind the other one's back?" Isabel asked.
"It was an oversight," Oliver told her.
Isabel nodded. "Oh. Well, lucky for our partnership, I'm a fast packer."
Isabel walked into the plane.
Justin, Felicity and John followed.
Jill turned to face Oliver, sighing. "Oliver, her tagging along does not help matters any."
"I will take care of her, Jill," Oliver told her. "You and I will take care of bringing Lyla back for John. Wherever she is."
Jill nodded in agreement.
Oliver and Jill walked toward the plane.

Lyla was sitting in a locked room, tortured and beaten.
➣➣
Moscow Airport
The plane arrived to Moscow, landing.
➣
Inside
The group was now in a Moscow airport.
Oliver and Isabel were talking.
"I've arranged a meeting with the chief operating officer of our Moscow subsidiary tomorrow at 10:00 AM," Isabel told him. "Try your hardest not to miss this one."
"You know, I'm not this person that you seem to think I am," Oliver told her.
"That depends," Isabel told him.
"On what?" Oliver asked.
"On if I think you use the corporate jet for a weekend of fun with your assistant," Isabel answered.
"Excuse me?" Oliver asked.
"A girl with zero experience in a career of business that happens to be the girl that you had been marooned on an island with for five years that helped you get home all of a sudden gets the job to be the assistant to the CEO?" Isabel asked. "There are only two ways that happen. One is nepotism, and she doesn't look like your cousin."
Oliver looked toward Jill, sighing. "That is absolutely not happening."
Oliver looked at Isabel.
"What were her qualifications?" Isabel asked. "Aside of somehow managing to surviving on an island for six years? She seems to be a little rough around the edges, which seems to be your type. I hope the two of you are very happy together."
Isabel walked away, leaving.
Jill walked toward Oliver. "What was that about?"
"Just someone who barely knows us picking up on the something going on between us that we have yet to discuss," Oliver answered.
Jill nodded. "Ah." Justin, Felicity and John walked closer. "Everything with Knyazev is set."
"You have friends in the Russian Mafia?" Felicity asked. "Color me at not at all surprised."
"We're going straight to the hotel in a cab," Oliver told her.
"No," Felicity told them. She gestured in the direction where Isabel had gone. "You're leaving us with her?"
"Jill and I need to have a drink," Oliver told them.
Jill looked at Oliver.
"Maybe I would like a drink," Felicity told them.
Oliver walked away.
Jill sighed, following.

Starling City, Washington
Night - Verdant
(Song:) Trick or Treat Dancefloor - Cherry Glazerr
Skylar was sitting at a table, working on paperwork.
Jean Loring walked toward her.
"Ms. Loring," Skylar told her. "Didn't take you for the club-hopping type."
Skylar stood. They embraced.
"Well, I'm here on business," Jean told her.
They pulled away.
"Is everything okay with my mom?" Skylar asked.
"We need to discuss something about this case," Jean told her. "Thea's boyfriend Roy was arrested last night."
"I know, but it was actually a misunderstanding," Skylar told her. "He got released."
"And your boyfriend Justin, the bodyguard to your brother and friend Jill, your self-defense class instructor," Jean told her.
"What about him?" Skylar asked.
"Well, a few reports got hold of the story of the loves in your lives, and they now know that Thea is dating a known felon and that you started to see Justin Smoak merely weeks after you turned 18, which leads to gossip about whether or not the two of you were involved before your birthday last year," Jean told her. "Skylar, your mother is on trial for her life. Her whole defense pivots on being seen as a loving mother who did what she had to do to protect her children, what kind of parent she was. We need the people to know that she raised you to make good decisions. So, if you care about your mom, you're going to have to end your relationship immediately, and tell your sister to do the same with her own."
Skylar was stunned speechless.

Moscow, Russia
Bar
(Song:) Happy Inquisition - Roman Berezin
Oliver and Jill walked into a Russian bar.
Anatoly walked toward them. "Jill Wright. Oliver Queen. My favorite Americans." He kissed Jill on either of her cheeks. "Dabro pazhalavat."
"It has been too long," Jill told him.
"Thank you for meeting us, Anatoly," Oliver told him.
Anatoly and Oliver smiled, shaking hands.
Anatoly laughed.
(Song Ends)
➣
Backroom
Anatoly, Oliver and Jill were sitting in a back room
"First, a toast," Anatoly told them, setting out their drinks. "Prochnost."
Oliver raised his glass. "To strength."
They drank.
"Now, business," Anatoly told them, showing them a picture of Lyla. "This is woman you look for, yes?" Jill picked up the picture. "Picture is from two days ago, from gulag. Prison."
"Lyla Michaels was arrested?" Jill asked.
"Not quite," Anatoly answered. "From what I hear, she was trying to break in."
"Why?" Jill asked.
"I do not know," Anatoly told them. "But clearly, she had issues breaking back out. Gulag, worst in Russia. It's called Koshmar."
"The Nightmare," Oliver told them.
"It's full of violent psychopaths and killers," Anatoly told them. "And that's just the guards."
"Anatoly, we need a way into the Gulag to extract her," Oliver told him.
"You get in, you get shot before you get out," Anatoly told them. "Or end up like your friend. Mm, it's impossible."
"The only thing that's impossible is us leaving this country without this woman," Jill told him, putting down the picture.
Anatoly chuckled. "I forgot how much an optimist you are, Jill. The only way in to Koshmar is as prisoner. Now, I have guard there, owes me favor. It could work. I'll give you one shot in 20."
"Set it up," Oliver told him. "We have two girls and a guy that can get inside."
Anatoly nodded, pouring them another drink.
➣
Day Three
Hotel Room
Justin, Felicity, John, Oliver and Jill were in the hotel, looking at a bag of drugs.
"That is a lot of drugs," Felicity told them.
"Courtesy of Knyazev," Justin told her. "About enough weight to land John and the twins in the Koshmar."
John nodded, pulling on a jacket.
Jill picked up her tablet to show them a man's picture. "This... is Knyazev's man inside the prison. A guard. He'll know where in the Gulag Lyla is being held."
"When all hell breaks loose, you need to met us at the rendezvous point with Lyla, or..." Oliver trailed off.
"Or I am a permanent Russian," John finished.
Oliver and Jill were worried.
"Just thinking out loud but, are we sure this is the best plan we can come up with?" Justin asked. He looked at John. "I know Lyla's your friend, but..."
"Justin, Lyla isn't my friend," John told him. "She was my wife."
"Explain that sentence," Justin told him.
"Lyla and I met in the army back in Afghanistan," John explained. "But we didn't stay married long once we got stateside." He sighed. "Couldn't figure out a way to stay married without a war to fight. So, she joined ARGUS, and I circled back for my third tour. I can't leave here without her. Just can't."
Jill's phone vibrated. She took it out, looking at the text briefly, putting her phone away. "Two minute warning."
Oliver and John shook hands.
Jill and John embraced, pulling away.
Justin and John shook hands.
Felicity put a scarf around John's neck. "Good luck, John."
Felicity kissed John on the cheek.
"Don't worry," John told them. "If anything goes wrong, Kira and Karma will have my back. I know that it's not exactly smart to trust two twins that used to be in the Triad and now are working with ARGUS, but they did give us a heads up about the Undertaking, and they tried to find the machine before it made it Starling. Destroyed Unidac buildings all over USA to try to find it and stop it. I trust them."
Jill, Oliver, Justin and Felicity nodded in agreement.
John grabbed the bag, walking out, leaving.
Justin, Oliver, Jill and Felicity watched him go, sighing.
➣
Alley
John, Kira and Karma were waiting in an alley.
A police car drove closer. Three officers got out of the car, aiming guns at the three of them.
Officer 1 was speaking in Russian. "Na nogakh. Ruki v vozdukhe."
Kira translated for them so that John would understand. "'On your feet. Hands in the air'."
John, Kira and Karma stood.
John sighed, raising his arms.
Kira raised her hands on either side of her head, smirking slightly.
Karma looked at them smugly, placing her hands on her head dramatically and confidently.
The officers arrested them, taking them away.
Anatoly was sitting in a car at the end of the alley, calling Jill. "They have them."
➣
Hotel Room
Jill had her phone on speaker so that Oliver, Justin and Felicity could hear as well, hanging up, turning to face them.
Justin sighed. "Clock's running."
➣➣
Koshmar Prison - Outside
A guard outside unlocked the gate, opening it so that the three officers could take John, Kira and Karma inside.
➣
Inside
The officers were taking off Kira and Karma's jackets.
John took his jacket off, handing it over.
The lead officer handed their belongings to a desk guard. "Khorosho kurtki. [Good jackets.]
The officers handed them prison clothing, pushing them down the hallway.
The guard that Jill had shown the picture to the others walked past them.
The desk guard put their belongings in three drawers.
➣
John's Cell
John was ushered into his cell.
A man was sitting on his bed. "What, uh, crime fits your punishment?"
"Drugs," John answered. "And you?"
"I gave speech about government corruption," the man answered.
John sighed, looking around. "Right."
"It is rare to see one of your people in Koshmar," the man told him.
"What, American?" John asked.
"Chernaya kozha [Black people]," the man answered, brushing his skin to show him what he meant without offending him. John scoffed. "Chernaya kozha not popular here."
"Shocker," John told him sarcastically.
John sighed, looking at the time on the wall.
➣
Alley
Jill, Oliver, Justin and Felicity were in an alley by their car.
"You think Dig's okay?" Felicity asked.
"I think he's ding the same as he was when you asked five minutes ago," Justin answered.
Anatoly was waiting at a nearby car, watching as vehicles approached. "They're coming. They sell us Russian police truck for cheap."
The cars pulled over. The men inside got out, walking closer.
"Vot mashina, kotoraya vam nuzhna [Here's a machine that you need]," Man 1 told them.
"Sto pyatisot tysyach rubley [One hundred and five hundred thousand rubles]," Anatoly told them, handing him an envelope of cash.
"Na koleni, [On your knees]," Man 1 told him.
The other men aimed their guns at them.
Oliver stepped closer to speak to Man 1. "Yesli vy sdelayete eto, moi lyudi vas, I vashi deti budut sirotami. [If you do this to my people, your children will become orphans.]"
Man 1 handed over his keys to Jill.
Jill tossed the keys to Anatoly.
The men got back into their cars.
Justin looked at Jill. "What'd he say?"
Jill smirked. "Please."
Jill winked.
They got into the car.

Flashback - Five Years Ago
Day - Freighter - Cells
Jill woke up in a cell on one side of Anatoly, seeing that the cell on the opposite side of him, Oliver's cell, was empty, because Oliver was with Ivo and Sara. She groaned in pain.
"What's your name?" Anatoly asked.
Jill looked around tiredly. "Jill."
"My name is Anatoly," Anatoly told her. "I assume you came from the torture chambers before they put you here."
"Yeah," Jill answered.
"A young man, his name is Oliver," Anatoly told her. Jill looked at him. "He is here. He is with them now. He thinks you dead."
"I thought he was dead, too," Jill told him.
"You know, in Russia, there is Gulag," Anatoly told her. "Almost as bad as this."
"I don't care," Jill told him. "We're gonna get out of here."
Anatoly chuckled patronizingly. "And how are you sure of that?"
"Because my friends are gonna make sure of it," Jill answered.
"If your friends not here, they probably dead," Anatoly told her.
Jill shook her head. "My friends aren't that easy to kill."
➣
Night - Lian Yu - Fuselage
The fuselage was even more destroyed than before.
Slade was lying on a table, badly burned and injured, groaning and gasping in agony.
Shado was standing next to help, applying some of Yao Fei's herbs to his wounds to treat him. "Try not to move.
"It smells like puke," Slade told her.
"It'll heal your wounds," Shado told him.
"You have to go," Slade told her. "Get out of here. Get to higher ground."
"I'm not leaving you," Shado told him.
"I will not be the reason something happens to you," Slade told her.
"Then we're in agreement," Shado told him. "Because I make my own choices."
"You are a strong woman," Slade told her.
"When I care about someone, there's nothing I won't do for them," Shado told him.
"Another thing... we have in common," Slade told her, starting to shake and shiver, covering up with a blanket.
"The burns, they're lowering your body temperature," Shado told him. "Here."
Shado laid next to Slade, embracing him to keep him warm.

(Song:) Before the Light Is Gone - Chelan
Thea walked downstairs.
Roy was waiting by the bar. "Where you been all night?"
"Working," Thea answered, turning away.
"Oh, well, you deserve a break," Roy told her.
They set down the trays they were holding on the bar.
"Um, actually, I've been thinking," Thea told him. "Maybe we should take some space. I mean, we work together and live together. It's kind of getting hard to breathe."
"Since when?" Roy asked. "Oh, wait, does this have to do with that lawyer lady dropping by and Skylar acting weird?"
"No, this has to do with the fact that you've been arrested twice in the last month," Thea told him.
"Come on," Roy told her. "I've been trying to stay out of trouble. My body hasn't had a scratch on it in weeks. Well, I mean, excluding the ones that you put there."
"And the other night?" Thea asked.
"Was a misunderstanding," Roy told her.
"Roy..." Thea trailed off, sighing. "This just isn't working, okay? Not for me."
Roy looked at her in confusion. "Thea, you can't mean that."
Thea hesitated, sighing. "I do. I'm sorry."
Roy looked hurt, walking away.

Koshmar Prison - Cafeteria
Kira was getting lunch, walking toward the table that Karma was sitting at, sitting across from her.
Nearby men were watching them.
Karma sighed, looking at Kira. "I don't know what's worse. Being Chinese in a Russian prison or being stalked by Russian psychopaths."
"They're Vory," Kira told her. "They're in charge. Best to stay away. Except for when you're trying to cause a distraction in prison to get to where you need to go."
"True," Karma told her. "So, where is this guard at? Sergei Pavelski?"
Kira looked around, seeing the guard. "Far corner over there."
Karma followed her gaze.
Sergei nodded to them.
The Vory walked toward Kira and Karma.
"Ladies, you are suki [bitches] now," Vory 1 told them.
Karma scoffed. "Are we seriously going to do this?" Vory 1 reached out to touch her cheek. Karma caught his hand before he could touch her. "Guess so."
Karma used her tray of food to slam into Vory 1's head, making him fall, kicking him in the side twice. Vory 1 grabbed Karma, rolling her onto the floor. Karma kneed him in the crotch, making him fall off of her to the floor, grabbing his arm, twisting it behind his back forcefully, making bones crack and him scream.
The guards ran toward the fight.
Kira stood to watch the fight with the crowd, using the distraction to sneak out of the room.
➣
Hallway
Two guards tried to stop Kira from making it down the hallway. Kira punched Guard 1, slamming his head on the wall hard enough to make him fall unconscious, spinning to backhand punch Guard 2 in the head, kneeing him in the stomach, kicking him in the crotch, making him kneel over so she could grab his head and slam it down on the floor, kneeling next to him, making sure that he was unconscious. She stood, smirking, walking down the hallway.
➣
Cafeteria
Two guards broke up the fight between Karma and Vory 1. It took three guards to restrain Karma, and she wasn't fighting back.
"Fighting strictly prohibited," Guard 1 told her.
Karma smirked.
The guards took Karma away.
➣
Freezer Room
The guards pulled Karma inside. "This cold room."
The guards put Karma's handcuffed hands around a bar over her head to keep her from getting out.
"Six hours for you," Guard 1 told her.
"Six hours?" Karma repeated skeptically. "That's all you got?"
"Now seven hours," Guard 1 told her.
The guards walked out, leaving.
The man cuffed to the bar across from Karma leaned his head against his arm, chuckling in amusement. "You really shouldn't have provoked them."
"Well, what can I say?" Karma asked. "Karma's a bitch, and I'm not talking about bad luck. My name is actually Karma."
The man chuckled. "I bet you heard a lot of jokes growing up with that name."
"From English speakers, yes," Karma answered. "I'm Chinese. We call it Jiemo."
The man lifted his head, revealing that he had an eye patch over his right eye, and that he was Floyd Lawton. "Well, call it Jiemo or Karma, it's still a bitch."
Karma looked at him in realization. "Deadshot."
➣➣
Floyd was shaking from the cold. "I remember you, and your twin sister. You work for the Triad."
"We did before," Karma told him. "Now we don't. We jumped ship."
"Your spine frozen through yet?" Floyd asked.
"The cold doesn't bother me," Karma told him. "We've been looking for you for a long time, Lawton."
Floyd chuckled. "Let me guess. ARGUS."
"Something like that," Karma answered.
"You went from the Triad to ARGUS," Floyd told her.
"We never wanted to be part of the Triad," Karma told him. "China White and her goons saved our lives back in the day, so they pretty much owned us. But that was then. This is now."
"I know why you're here," Floyd told her. "That girl."
"Lyla didn't find a lead on you," Karma told him. "She found you."

Hotel - Bar
(Song:) Hard to Find - The National
Jill was sitting in a bar at the hotel, drinking.
Oliver walked in.
Jill looked at the bartender. "Vodki, pozhaluysta. [Vodka, please.]"
Oliver walked closer, sitting down. "So this is where you've been since we got back to the hotel. Drinking."
The bartender set out two vodkas, walking away.
"Drinking... my problems away, until it's time to get John and the twins out of Gulag," Jill answered, taking a drink.
Oliver watched her for a moment sadly. "You want to talk about it?"
"What is there to talk about?" Jill asked.
"Have you been thinking about your sister?" Oliver asked.
"You mean the one that's come back from the dead, been in the League of Assassins, come to Starling City to make sure I was okay after the earthquake, and then disappeared to protect me from the League?" Jill asked sarcastically. "That sister? Nope, I haven't thought about it at all."
Jill took a drink.
Oliver smirked in amusement. "You only get this sarcastic when you're buzzed. You're lucky we still have a few hours before we have to get them."
"If I need an excuse to drink, I have a pretty good one to use," Jill told him.
"I know you do," Oliver told her. "I'm just worried about you. You've thrown yourself into every job you could possibly get your hands on alone ever since Sara and Amy left. I just want to make sure you're okay."
"I'm pretty far from okay," Jill told him. "But I'm managing."
The bartender walked closer, speaking in Russian. "Mogu ya predlozhit vam chto-nibud' yeshche. [Can I get you anything else?]"
Oliver spoke in Russian. "Ya ne dumayu, chto ona dolzhna pit bol'she. [I don't think she should drink anymore.]"
The bartender walked away.
Jill gave Oliver a look, chuckling, speaking in Russian. "Ya v poryadke. [I'm fine.]"
Oliver used her words against her. "I thought you were pretty far from fine."
Jill chuckled, tilting her head at Oliver.
Oliver smiled a small smile. They looked at each other for a moment, leaning closer to kiss slowly, sweetly and softly for a long moment, pulling away.
Jill tilted her head slightly. "I'm better with you."

Koshmar Prison - Freezer Room
Karma and Floyd were still chained to the bar above their heads.
Sergei walked in to unlock Karma. "We don't have much time."
"Where's John and Kira?" Karma asked.
"Still looking," Sergei answered. "There you go. Let's go, let's go."
"Nice seeing you, Karma," Floyd told her.
Karma sighed. "I can't leave without you. My job is to bring you in." She grabbed Floyd's chains from above the bar, pulling him off. "Doesn't mean I have to free you from chains."
Sergei and Karma walked away, pulling Floyd with them.
➣
Hallway
Sergei and Karma walked down the hallway, pulling Floyd with them.
"Five minutes," Sergei told her. "Must hurry."
"Remind me to get you a pack of cigarettes when this is all over," Floyd told him.
"I don't smoke," Sergei told them.
"Shocker," Karma told him sarcastically.
They pulled Floyd down the hallway.
➣
Another Hallway
John and Kira walked down the hallway.
"So, Karma staged a fight just to distract the guards so you could look for Lyla?" John asked.
"Yep," Kira answered.
"Smart," John told her.
"Yeah, well, we have experience," Kira told him. "Not the first time a member of the Triad's gone into a prison to look for someone."
They walked around a corner, coming upon two guards.
John punched Guard 1 in the face, kicking him in the stomach.
Kira spun to punch Guard 2 in the chest, taking his baton from his belt, spinning to face him, hitting him in the face with the baton, making him fall unconscious. She saw his keys on the floor, picking them up.
John flipped Guard 1 to the floor, picking him up, throwing him into the wall, making him fall unconscious, picking up a gun from the ground. "I'm gonna hold onto this."
"This way," Kira told him, walking down the hallway.
John followed her.
➣
Rendezvous Point - Car
Oliver, Jill, Justin and Felicity were waiting at the rendezvous point outside of the prison, waiting for John, Kira and Karma to get outside with Lyla and Floyd.
Anatoly got into the car. "There is nothing money cannot buy in this country."
"They should be heading out in two minutes," Justin told them.
"Well, breaking out of prison is harder than it looks," Anatoly told them. He looked at Oliver and Jill. "You of all people should know that."

Flashback - Five Years Ago
Night - Freighter - Cells
The men in their cells were sleeping on their cots.
Jill was lying down on hers.
Sara opened Jill's cell. "Stay quiet. Follow me."
Jill sat up. "Who are you?"
"I'm Sara," Sara answered. "I'm a friend of Oliver's. And I'm gonna get you out of here."
Jill stood, walking toward the cell door.
Anatoly sat up. "You'll remember the rest of us... yes?"
Jill looked at Anatoly, nodding. "I promise. I'll come back."
Sara looked at Jill. "Come on."
➣
Hallway
Sara led Jill into a hallway where Oliver was waiting.
Oliver looked at her in relief. "Jill."
Jill smiled. "Oliver."
They embraced in relief, pulling away.
"Let's go," Sara told them, leading them down the hallway.
"Are we making a swim for it?" Oliver asked.
"No," Sara answered. "They'd shoot us the second we hit the water."
➣
Office
Sara led them into an office with a radio, looking at Oliver. "You said your friends, they have one of the radios from the ship, right?"
"Yeah," Oliver answered. Sara sat at the radio, messing with the dials. "You look like you know what you're doing there."
"In the past year, I've learned a lot of things I never expected to," Sara told them.
"That makes three of us," Jill told them.
Sara handed the radio receiver to Oliver. "They won't respond unless they hear your voice."
Oliver sat at the table, speaking into the receiver. "Shado. Slade. Can you hear me?"
Shado and Slade were in the fuselage.
Shado held the radio in her hands. "Yeah. Thank God you're alive. Is Jill with you?"
"Yeah, Jill's with me," Oliver answered. "Listen, we're on a freighter."
Sara pulled the radio away.
"What are you doing?" Jill asked.
The captain walked in. "There's only two of them. They haven't moved from the location of the mortar attack."
Ivo walked in.
"What the hell is going on here?" Jill asked.
"You just confirmed that your friends are alive," Ivo told them. "Which means they're still a threat. You know, until we kill them."
Oliver stood angrily. "You son of a bitch."
The captain punched Oliver in the face.
Oliver looked at Sara in angry betrayal.
Sara looked down in guilt.

Night - Koshmar Prison - Locked Room
Kira used the guards' keys to unlock the door, looking through the creak in the door slyly, pushing the door the rest of the way open, walking inside.
John walked in.
Kira walked toward the cell, using the keys to unlock it, seeing Lyla inside chained to the wall. "Michaels."
John ran closer. "Lyla!"
John knelt next to Lyla worriedly.
Kira tossed the keys to John.
John used them to unlock Lyla's chains.
"Johnny?" Lyla asked.
"Ready to go home?" John asked.
Lyla smiled weakly. "You came for me."
John caressed her cheeks. "I always have. Always will."
"Deadshot's here," Lyla told him. "In the prison."
"Come on," Kira told them.
John helped Lyla stand.
➣
Hallway
Sergei and Karma dragged Floyd by his chains into the hallway.
Kira ran toward them.
John helped Lyla walk closer.
Floyd looked at Kira. "There's the other one."
"Lawton, I'm sure you remember my sister, Kira," Karma told him. "And the man of the brother that you killed."
John glared at Floyd.
"All right, so, what's the extraction plan?" Floyd asked.
"That depends," Kira told them. "What time is it?"
Sergei checked his watch. "Almost time."
➣
Processing Room
Several guards were standing by the items taken from the prisoners when they were processed into the prison, including Kira, Karma and John's belongings.
Kira and Karma's jackets started to beep.
➣
Outside
The explosive in their jackets exploded, tearing a hole into the Gulag prison.
➣
Inside - Hallway
John, Lyla, Kira, Karma, Sergei and Floyd stood together.
"Let's go, go, go," John told them.
"Move, move, move!" Sergei told them.
They heard the alarms start and inmates yelling, running toward the exit, past men and women in their cells.
➣
Processing Room
Sergei led the group into the room, through the carnage. "This way."
Floyd pulled on the chains to stop Karma from running so that he could grab his target device eye piece that hadn't been ruined in the explosion.
Karma sighed in annoyance, pulling on his chains to drag him along after the others.
➣
Outside - Car
Justin, Felicity, Oliver, Jill and Anatoly were in the car outside.
"I got it," Felicity told them. "I shut down the phones. The guards can't call for help."
"Your friends and that woman are not here by now, they will not be here at all," Anatoly told them.
Justin, Jill and Oliver got out of the car, dressed up as guards.
➣
Outside
Floyd, Karma, Kira, Lyla and John got out of the prison, running into a group of guards.
Karma was still dragging Floyd by his chains.
John was still supporting Lyla.
Kira punched down Guard 1, taking both of his guns, handing one to Karma.
Floyd put on his eye device. "Much better."
The guards aimed their guns at them, yelling in Russian.
Justin, Oliver and Jill were behind the guards, unnoticed as they were dressed up like them.
Justin kicked Guard 2 in the back, making him fall.
Oliver kicked the legs out from under Guard 3, making him fall, punching Guard 4 in the back.
Jill backhand punched Guard 5 in the face, kicking Guard 6 in the back, making him fall.
Karma spun to kick Guard 6 in the head, making him fall.
Kira flipped Guard 4 to the ground.
More guards ran closer.
Kira and Karma fired at them.
Oliver kicked Guard 3 in the leg, then in the head, knocking him out.
Jill elbowed Guard 5 in the face, wrapping her arm around his neck, front flipping to flip him to the ground, landing on her feet.
Kira and Karma continued to fire at the guards behind them.
"Guys, get down!" John told them.
Justin, Oliver and Jill ducked out of the line of fire.
Guard 7 ran closer with a baton, trying to hit Justin with it. Justin caught his arm, flipping him to the ground.
Guard 8 tried to punch Oliver. Oliver ducked, punching him in the face, kicking him in the head, making him fall unconscious.
"How are you gonna explain this to your ARGUS buddies?" Floyd asked.
Karma smirked. "What happens in Russia stays in Russia."
"Follow us!" Jill told them. "Move!"
They ran toward the van where Anatoly and Felicity were waiting, getting inside, driving away as guards shot at them.
➣
On the Road - Van
Anatoly got them far away. "We're clear."
"Stop the truck," John told him. Anatoly stopped the car. John looked at Floyd. "Get out. Get out!"
➣
Outside
Floyd and John got out of the car.
John aimed his gun at Floyd's head. "Move."
John continued to aim at Floyd for a moment, lowering his gun.
"That's the thing about honor, John," Floyd told him. "You can't turn it on and off. I'm just curious. How is it you think your brother ended up dead?"
"You shot a client that Andy was protecting, and you missed," John told him.
"I don't miss," Floyd told him. "Your brother was the contract."
"Who would want to kill Andy?" John asked.
"I don't know the names, just an alias," Floyd told him. "Hive. Food for thought, John. Food for thought."
Kira and Karma got out of the van, walking toward Floyd.
Kira looked at John. "We got it from here. He'll be at ARGUS where he can't hurt anyone without needing to."
"Hey, guys," John told them. "Thank you."
Kira and Karma nodded. They grabbed Floyd by the chains, starting to drag him away.

Oliver, Jill, Justin, John, Felicity, Lyla and Isabel returned to Starling.
John wrapped his arm around Lyla.
Lyla smiled, lying her head on his shoulder.
Justin, Jill and Oliver walked together.
John walked toward them. "Thank all of you. You had my back."
"And now you know what it feels like," Oliver told him.
They smiled, heading their separate ways.
➣
Iron Heights - Visitation Room
Moira, Justin and Roy were talking.
Thea and Skylar walked in to see this.
"Wh--what are you--what are you doing here?" Skylar asked.
"Good question," Justin told them. "I've gotten a lot of calls from prison, but never from my girlfriend's mother."
"It occurred to me that I've never been given the opportunity to talk to the men in your lives," Moira told them.
"I don't know if they told you, but your daughters kind of dumped us," Roy told her. "Skylar dumped Justin over the phone while he was in Russia with your son."
"And what you two should know is that they did it for me," Moira told them. She looked at Skylar. "Jean told me she came to see you, Skylar. I told her she shouldn't have."
"Why didn't you just say that?" Justin asked.
"Us being together, it can hurt her case," Thea answered.
"Thea, my daughter's social lives are not going to be the determining factor in my trail," Moira told her. "What you've both had to endure this last year alone is more than most people go through in two lifetimes. But you've not only survived, you've flourished. I think a lot of that has to do with Roy and Justin. So, as your mother, I forbid you both not to see them."
Skylar smiled, chuckling. "Thank you."
Thea, Skylar and Moira laughed, hugging.
➣
John's Apartment - Bedroom
John was lying in bed, covered but shirtless.
Lyla walked closer, wearing John's shirt. "I have to admit, this is not how I anticipated my trip to Russia ending."
Lyla laid down next to John.
"I just feel lucky we made it out of there alive," John told her.
"Thank you," Lyla told him.
"You know, me and Carly broke up because I couldn't love her and hate Deadshot at the same time," John told her.
"I'm honored to be the exception," Lyla told him.
"Lyla, you're always the exception," John told her.
They kissed for a moment, pulling away.
"I have a debrief with ARGUS at 0800," Lyla told him, turning to get out of bed.
John grabbed her arm to stop her. "No, no, let Waller stew. Stay for breakfast."
"Throw in your blueberry pancakes, and you may be able to convince me," Lyla told him.
They kissed, smiling.
Lyla chuckled, standing, walking away to get dressed.
John sat up, taking out his phone, typing into the Bing search bar:
H.I.V.E.

Queen Consolidated - Oliver's Office
Jill was sitting at her desk.
Oliver walked closer, placing a file on her desk. "Can you deliver this to Isabel's office, please?"
"Sure," Jill answered. "Just, uh..."
Jill sighed, looking up, holding her head.
Oliver smirked in amusement. "Hangover?"
"A little bit," Jill answered.
"You feel like talking now?" Oliver asked.
"Why would I?" Jill asked.
"Oh, no reason," Oliver told her sarcastically. "I just thought that it might be time for you to open up about how you really feel about your sister. And I just want you to know that you can talk to me."
Jill smiled a small smile. "Thank you. For the offer. And for being there last night." She stood with the file, stopping next to Oliver. "It means a lot."
Oliver nodded. "Of course."
They looked at each other, smiling small smiles.
Jill walked away.

Flashback - Five Years Ago
Night - Freighter - Office
Jill and Oliver were still in the office with the captain, Sara and Ivo.
"We have their location," the captain told them. "These ones are no longer of use to us. Let's see how good you are... at removing a bullet from each of your heads."
The captain aimed his gun at Oliver.
"Wait," Sara told him. She looked at Ivo. "They could still be useful."
"She's right," Ivo told him. "Once we get rid of their friends, we'll need them to lead us to the graves."
The captain lowered his gun. "Sometimes I wonder who gives the orders here. You... or your little bouzin (in Haitian Creole) [whore]."
The captain walked out, leaving.
Ivo looked at Jill and Oliver. "You're going back to the island."
Oliver looked at Sara, wondering who's side she was on.
Sara looked down.
Jill and Oliver looked at each other nervously.
