From 2.01 "City of Heroes", in the conference room, Oliver stood in front of the board.

Oliver: (voice over) "My name is Oliver Queen."

From 2.01 "City of Heroes", in the cemetery, Jill was sitting at Tommy's grave in guilt.

Jill: (voice over) "I'm Jill Wright."

From 1.06 "Legacies", in flashback to the cave on Lian Yu, Oliver was aiding Jill after they saved her from the soldiers.

Oliver lifted the back of her shirt to reveal carved tally marks in her back that were bleeding and scarred. They were all over her back, the tally marks small to include all of the number of the days. There were a few in her shoulders, as the skin of her back couldn't hold it all.

Jill: (voice over) "After five years on a hellish island..."

From 1.23 "Sacrifice", in flashback to the soldier camp, Jill jumped down from the missile launcher, taking cover.

The missile hit the ground at the soldier camp, setting it ablaze.

Jill sat back tiredly on the ground, watching the flames.

From 1.06 "Legacies", in the hideout, Oliver and Jill were training at the hideout with two metal short staffs. Oliver and shirtless. Jill was in workout clothes, including a sports bra. Oliver swung both of his up over their heads, trying to come down on her. Jill raised both of hers in an X shape to block both of his.

Jill: (voice over) "We have come to Starling City with only one goal."

From 1.08 "Vendetta", in the hideout, Jill was getting suited up.

Oliver was watching from nearby, getting suited up.

John and Justin walked closer.

Jill: (voice over) "To save the city."

From 1.21 "The Undertaking", in the casino, Oliver/Arrow fired an arrow into a man's shoulder, making him fall.

Oliver: (voice over) "But to do so..."

From 1.16 "Dead to Rights", on the helipad, Oliver/Arrow and Guillermo Barrera were fighting. Oliver stabbed him with an arrow, killing him.

Oliver: (voice over) "I can't be the killer I once was."

From 1.19 "Unfinished Business", in the lab at the asylum, Oliver/Arrow stabbed the orderly in the chest with an arrow, killing him.

From 1.23 "Sacrifice", in Merlyn Global Group, Tommy and Oliver/Arrow helped Jill/Sapphire inside to get them to the ground outside.

The building was falling apart around them.

Tommy saw rubble falling toward them, pushing them out of the way.

The debris fell onto Tommy, making him fall, pinning him down.

Jill started to pull the debris away.

A pipe had been stabbed into Tommy's chest.

Oliver and Jill were horrified.

Oliver: (voice over) "To honor my friend's memory, I must be someone else."

From 2.01 "City of Heroes", in the cemetery, Oliver and Jill stood at Tommy's grave.

From 2.01 "City of Heroes", in the foundry, Oliver and Jill walked in to join John, Justin and Felicity.

Jill: (voice over) "I must be..."

Jill looked at the knife in her hand. She morphed into Sapphire.

Jill: (voice over) "Something else."

Oliver looked at the arrow in his hand. He morphed into Arrow.

➣ ➣

From 2.17 "Birds of Prey", in the fuselage, Sara, Anatoly, Thomas, Hendrick, and one other man were here.

Skylar: (voice over) "Previously on Sapphire Arrow."

Sara picked up the radio. "Slade."

"I need someone qualified to fix this boat," Slade told her. "I sure hope a Mr. Hendrick is there with you."

Hendrick was aiming a gun at Sara. "There's no way in hell I'm going back there."

"Hendrick, please, put the gun down," Thomas told him.

Hendrick aimed the gun at Thomas.

Sara used a wrench to hit Hendrick over the head, making him fall unconscious.

From 2.15 "The Promise", outside of the Queen Mansion, Slade was in his car, talking to Oliver, Jill, Skylar, Amy and Sara.

Skylar walked closer. "Why did you have the guy in the skull mask give me the Mirakuru?"

"Because I wanted to do to you what was done to me," Slade answered. He looked at Oliver and Jill. "Five years ago, I made you a promise."

From 2.15 "The Promise", in flashback on the freighter, Slade had the ship's men aiming guns at Oliver and Jill, walking closer. "You cannot die until you have known complete despair." Oliver stood between Jill and Slade. "And you will. I promise."

From 2.17 "Birds of Prey", in the foundry, Oliver, Jill, Justin, Skylar and Roy were talking.

Oliver looked at Roy. "Stay away from Thea."

Roy looked at him in surprise, standing. "No, I--I can't."

"She's not safe when she's around you," Oliver told him.

From 2.17 "Birds of Prey", in the storage closet of Verdant, Thea walked in to see Roy making out with the blonde from earlier. She looked shocked and heartbroken.

Jill: (voice over from 2.17 Birds of Prey) "You love her. And that's why you're going to do what he's asking."

From 2.17 "Birds of Prey", in the street, Thea was walking alone.

A limo pulled up next to her.

Slade rolled down the window. "It's a dangerous city. You shouldn't be out in the streets alone."

"Mr. Wilson?" Thea asked.

Slade opened the limo door. "Please. Call me Slade."

Thea got into the limo, closing the door, looking at Slade in confusion.

Same Night - Same Scene

Night - On the Road - Limo

Thea and Slade were in the backseat of the limo.

"Your mascara is running," Slade told her, taking out a few tissues, handing it to Thea.

"Thank you," Thea told him, using the tissues to clean herself up.

"Are you all right?" Slade asked.

"I don't know," Thea told him. "It's my boyfriend. Ex-boyfriend now. He just completely out of nowhere decides to end things."

"Heartbreak is something I know all too well," Slade told her. "It's not a easy thing to recover from." Thea shook her head in agreement, looking away. "Sometimes you never do."

The limo pulled over nearby an alley.

Thea frowned in confusion. "Um, we're not at--This isn't my home."

"You're not going home, Thea," Slade told her. "Get out." Thea started to become scared, starting to breathe more heavily. "Get out!"

Outside

Thea hurriedly got out of the limo, running down the alley, looking behind her to make sure that Slade wasn't following her, running right into Sebastian/Brother Blood.

"Hello, Thea," Sebastian told her. "It's a pleasure to meet you."

Thea backed away, breathing heavily in fear and confusion.

➣ Sapphire Arrow ➣

Verdant - Foundry

Oliver, Justin, John and Jill were talking, watching Skylar and Roy aim a bow and arrow.

"No time," John told them. "You letting the bad guys stay alive this year has filled the jails up to capacity."

Oliver sighed. "Yeah."

Justin and Oliver walked toward Skylar and Roy.

"Ready?" Justin asked.

"Well, I've been working with Jill and Skylar, but I'm not exactly a natural," Roy told them.

"Neither was I," Oliver told them.

Roy shot an arrow, trying to hit the target, though it hit wires on the wall, making them spark.

"Okay," Jill told them. "We have some work to do."

Skylar shot an arrow, hitting the target centimeters from the bull's eye.

Justin and Oliver both smirked, proud.

Roy shook his head. "Sorry. I'm just having a hard time keeping my head in the game today."

"Thea?" Skylar asked.

"I just can't stop thinking 'What's the worst that can happen if I just told her the truth?'" Roy told them.

Felicity walked in. "Well, I told a guy and my friend the truth, and the guy got struck by lightning, and the girl nearly froze to death. To be fair, probably won't happen again, statistically."

Oliver looked at Skylar and Roy. "Telling Thea the truth won't make her safer. Just the opposite. What we're doing, it's dangerous. And anyone that is even in our orbit can get hurt."

"Try again, Roy," Justin told him. "This time... aim."

Oliver walked toward the others.

Jill held up two slips of paper.

"What are those?" Oliver asked.

"About a month's worth of phone messages from Queen Consolidated," Jill answered.

"Toss them," Oliver told her.

"That's what I did with last month's phone messages," Jill told him.

"With Slade out there, I don't have time for the company," Oliver told her.

"Well, you have to make time, Oliver," Jill told him. "At least three hours. The annual board meeting." Oliver groaned in remembrance, sighing. "There's absolutely zero way that the CEO can avoid being there. And I know it's been a while, so in case you've forgotten, that's you. Do you remember where you put your business suit?" She pointed at the glass case that contained the Arrow and Sapphire suits. "Or do you keep it in a cool glass case, too?"

Oliver smirked in amusement, giving Jill a halfhearted look, turning away.

Flashback

Day - Lian Yu - Fuselage

Sara had her back to Anatoly, Thomas, Hendrick and the other man.

Anatoly was tying Hendrick up.

The other man was aiming a gun at Hendrick.

"I'm going to kill all of you!" Hendrick told them.

Anatoly put a cloth around Hendrick's mouth to gag him. "This is not personal. Well, maybe a little."

"It's not," Sara told them, standing, turning to face them. "This is about survival."

"Survival?" Thomas repeated. "What a noble word for murder."

"Slade gave us no option," Anatoly told them. "Hendrick for Oliver and Jill."

"And what gives any of us the right to decide two lives are more valuable than one?" Thomas asked.

"He is tied up," Anatoly answered. "We are not."

"Once he gets the boat working, Slade will have no more need for him," Thomas told them. "So let's not kid ourselves. Doing this is effectively sentencing Hendrick to death."

"He would do the same thing to any of us in heartbeat," Anatoly told him. "This is only option."

"What if it's also an opportunity?" Sara asked.

"To do what?" Anatoly asked.

"To kill Slade," Sara answered.

Anatoly smirked.

Now

Day Two

Morning - Queen Consolidated - Oliver/Jill's Office

Jill and Oliver walked into the office.

Jill watched him walk into the conference room.

Conference Room

Oliver walked in.

Isabel was sitting at the table.

"I know that I haven't been here in a while, but you don't look like the entire board of directors," Oliver told her.

"The meeting doesn't start for another half hour," Isabel told him.

Oliver checked his watch. "Really?"

"I routinely bump all appointments 30 minutes in anticipation of you being late," Isabel told him, standing.

"It's good policy," Oliver told her.

"But, thank you for coming out of hibernation for this," Isabel told him. "Whether you recognize it or not, it's your name on the building, and no matter how many meetings you miss, you're still the public face of this company."

"Isabel, I realize I have been distracted," Oliver told her. "Thank you for picking up the slack."

"Ours is an unconventional partnership, but it's a partnership," Isabel told him. "And it's working."

Oliver nodded. "Indeed it is."

Jill walked in. "Oliver..." Oliver turned to face her. "Your mother's here."

Oliver was annoyed, sighing.

Isabel looked at him in amusement. "Family squabble?"

Oliver ignored her, walking out of the conference room.

Office

Oliver walked toward Moira.

"And how is Ms. Rochev these days?" Moira asked. "Still angry that Dorothy dropped a house on her sister?"

Jill was sitting at her desk, able to hear them, chuckling in amusement and agreement at that line.

Oliver cleared his throat. "What are you doing here?"

"Have you heard from Skylar and Thea?" Moira asked.

"I've heard from Skylar, not Thea," Oliver answered.

"You and Skylar haven't returned any of my phone calls, so I'm left to resort to checking in person as to whether you're attending the debate tonight," Moira told him.

"I told you that I would publicly support your campaign," Oliver told her. Moira nodded. "Anything else?"

"It would be embarrassing for us both if you couldn't at least appear to be my son tonight," Moira told him, turning away.

"I have gotten pretty good at pretending to be someone I'm not," Oliver told her. "I learned it from you."

Moira was hurt by this remark, turning around, walking away, leaving.

Jill looked toward Oliver.

City Building - Dressing Room

Skylar was in a dressing room for the mayoral debate, walking toward a woman. "Oh, excuse me. Have you seen Thea Queen?" The woman shook her head. Skylar sighed. "Okay." She walked away, calling Thea, getting her voicemail. "Speedy, it's Sky, and I'm at the debate, where I thought you would be. Listen, I know that you're upset about Roy, but Mom needs all of us here. So, please, just call me back."

Backstage

Skylar walked out into the backstage, hanging up.

Justin walked toward Skylar. "You do not look happy. Is everything all right?"

Skylar turned to face him, sighing. "Yeah. Thea's just a little late. Hey, since I'm getting really good with a bow and arrow, I'm already really good at fighting, and I'm better at controlling myself than Roy is, can you talk to Ollie about getting me a name and suit?" Justin smiled in amusement, chuckling. "I was thinking Amethyst, or Athena. Leaning closer to Athena, though, because Amethyst is a jewel, and the gemstone names seem to be more Jill and Amy's thing."

"Well, Athena is a warrior goddess of wisdom," Justin told her. "Seems fitting for you."

Skylar smiled. "So, is that a yes about talking to Oliver? I'm getting antsy."

Justin chuckled, nodding. "More like impatient, but I'll see what I can do."

Skylar smiled, leaning closer to kiss Justin for a moment, pulling away, tilting her head slightly, pointing at him. "By the way, favorite color purple equals purple suit, right?"

Justin smiled. "We'll see."

They walked away.

Main Room

A lot of people were in the city building for the mayoral debate between Moira and Sebastian on live TV.

Moira was giving her speech. "Sebastian Blood is not the man you think he is. He's not going to revive the city with social services. He's going to bankrupt it with unfunded mandates."

Sebastian gave his speech. "Mrs. Queen's problem with my proposals is that they will be paid for by the one percent." Moira rolled her eyes, shaking her head. "It's time that the wealthiest people stop avoiding their responsibility."

"But it will limit their abilities to hire people," Moira told them.

"All right, that's time," a man told them. "And I will remind the candidates to please refrain from interrupting. Now we have the next in our series of video questions submitted by Starling City voters. This one comes from... Thea Queen. Okay, there must be some mistake."

The screen on the stage behind Sebastian and Moira started to static. The announcement for the event disappeared to be replaced by a video of a terrified Thea in an unknown, dark location. "Help!" Jill, Oliver, Skylar and Justin were shocked and worried. Oliver and Skylar stood. Moira was horrified. "Help! Somebody help me, please! He--Sla--"

Slade/Deathstroke covered Thea's mouth from behind.

The crowd started to mutter to themselves in horror.

Moira put her hand to her mouth. "Oh, my God!"

The message appeared over the image of Thea.

HOW MUCH IS THEA QUEEN'S LIFE WORTH TO YOU?

Jill and Justin looked at Oliver and Skylar in horror.

➣➣

Queen Consolidated - Elevator

Felicity, John and Roy were riding up in an elevator.

"We're going to find her, Roy," Felicity told him. "We're going to get her back. She's a tough girl."

"Is she going to be alive when we find her?" Roy asked.

John gave him a look. "You can't think like that."

Roy shook his head. "I can't stop thinking like that."

Elevator Bank

Felicity, John and Roy walked out of the elevator into the elevator bank to see several news reporters outside of Oliver/Jill's office.

Oliver/Jill's Office

Jill was at her desk, taking calls.

Justin was standing next to her.

John, Felicity and Roy walked in.

"I think I might have found something," Felicity told her.

Jill and Justin looked at the computer, where Sebastian was on the news.

Sebastian: (on news)"I am suspending my campaign and devoting its resources to the safe return of Thea Queen."

They walked toward Oliver's side of the office, which was full of police and detectives.

Oliver and Skylar walked toward them.

They watched Lieutenant Frank Pike, Jessica and Lance question Moira.

"Well, the video referenced a demand, but no ransom," Pike told her. "Which means this might not be about money."

"We're going to get her back, Moira," Jessica told her. "I promise you. Thea's coming home."

"Now, can you think of anyone who might want to get to you through Thea?" Pike asked.

Moira shook her head. "No one except for the families of the 503 people that died last year."

"This isn't about the quake," Jill told them.

"Well, how can you be so sure?" Lance asked.

"You just need to find the man in the mask," Skylar told them.

"Look, we're working on it," Pike told them. "We're running down every lead."

"What are those leads?" Skylar asked.

Moira started to cry. "Oh, God. Oh, God, how could I have let this happen?"

Isabel was getting Oliver's attention from the next room.

"Excuse me for a minute," Oliver told them, walking away.

Skylar was completely overwhelmed with worry and anger.

Conference Room

Oliver walked toward Isabel

Isabel was on the phone. "If I hear about one more invasive press inquiry being sent to Mr. Queen or to any member of the Queen family, I will hold you personally responsible."

Isabel hung up.

"You're very scary," Oliver told her. "Thank you."

"My job is to take things off your plate, now more than ever," Isabel told him. "To that end, you remember how at today's meeting, the board nominated new officers?" Oliver nodded. "Voting has to take place within 24 hours." Oliver put his hands to his head. "It cannot be suspended. It's an SEC thing."

"I c--I can't think about this right now," Oliver told her.

"I know, and I'm sorry, but you have to," Isabel told him. "You're the CEO, and you have responsibilities."

"Which you handle for me all the time," Oliver told her.

"A board vote is several orders of magnitude different from covering a missed meeting," Isabel told him. "You could appoint someone CEO pro tempore." Oliver started to write on a notepad. "That's not a good idea."

"I'm appointing you," Oliver told her.

"What?" Isabel asked.

Oliver signed his name on the note, holding the pad up. "Congratulations. You are the temporary CEO."

"I can't," Isabel told him.

"Please," Oliver told her. Isabel slowly took the pad. "Thank you."

"Have Thea thank me, when she's back safe at home," Isabel told him.

Oliver nodded.

Jill walked in. "Oliver? I need to talk to you. It's about Mr. Wilson."

Verdant - Foundry

Felicity, John, Sara, Amy, Skylar, Justin and Roy were already here.

Jill and Oliver walked in.

Felicity was sitting at the computer. "Since the last place Thea was seen was Verdant, I used credit card receipts, compiled a list of customers last night, pinged all their cell phones, and hacked into their photos. The NSA is right. It's a lot easier when you don't need a warrant. I eyeballed every photo."

"There must have been thousands," John told them.

"It's Thea," Felicity told them. "I found this." She pulled up a picture of a limo. "Partial plate three blocks from the club. Car's registered to a Slade Wilson, and it has GPS."

"Where is it right now?" Justin asked.

"Parked outside a defunct bar on Roosevelt," Felicity answered.

"Okay, this doesn't seem easy to you?" John asked. "Slade using a car registered in his name? The whole thing smells rotten."

"Either Thea's there or he is," Oliver told them. "Either way, we have to go."

"Yeah, I figured you'd say that, which is why I worked up these," Amy told them, holding up a syringe. "Tibetan pit viper venom. The League of Assassins' poison of choice. And the most powerful sedative that I've ever worked with."

"That'll give us an advantage," Sara told them.

Oliver looked at Skylar and Roy. "But you two are going to give us another."

"Are you sure you want us to go?" Roy asked.

"Are you angry?" Oliver asked. Skylar and Roy nodded expressively. "Use that rage."

"Well, you're just always telling us to hold back," Skylar told them.

"Not tonight," Jill told them.

Oliver, Jill, Sara and Amy walked away to get suited up.

Flashback

Night - Lian Yu - Woods

Sara and Anatoly were looking at the landmines in the dark, using a flashlight.

"Landmines?" Anatoly asked. "What kind of island is this?"

"Can you remove the explosive?" Sara asked.

"Certainly," Anatoly answered. "Without it going off? Eh. Less certain." He sighed, starting to work. "Ah, KGB. You taught me many, many things. Russian bomb, Japanese bomb, they both go... boom." He successfully removed the explosive without it going off, looking at Sara. "Congratulations, we are not dead. Now what?"

"Well, Slade takes Hendrick as we agreed," Sara told him. "And once they're far enough away..."

"What, you want to rig Hendrick into bomb?" Anatoly asked.

"Well, Thomas was right," Sara told him. "Handing Hendrick over to Slade is the same thing as killing him. And you're right, too. We don't have a choice. I mean, at least this way, he can take out Slade, and then we can take the ship." Anatoly looked at her in surprise. "What?"

"Just... wondering," Anatoly answered. "When did you become so scary?"

Sara didn't answer, looking down.

Jill/Sapphire:

Amy/Ruby:

Now

Night - Warehouse

Oliver/Arrow, Jill/Sapphire, Amy/Ruby, Sara/Canary, Skylar and Roy walked into the warehouse where Slade was waiting for them, surrounding him, all ready for a fight with weapons drawn.

"Where is she, Slade?" Oliver asked angrily.

Slade slowly stood.

"My brother asked you a question," Skylar told him, punching Slade in the face, making him spit blood.

"Where is she?" Jill asked.

Slade put his hands on his hips. "What are you going to do? Kill me?" He walked closer. "But then who would tell you... where your beloved Thea is?"

"Call Jessica," Oliver told them. "Tell her to come down here."

"Wh--what?" Roy asked. "Why?"

"To arrest Slade Wilson," Oliver answered, drawing an arrow with the pit viper venom, shooting Slade with it in the shoulder, making him fall onto his chair.

The others exchanged a look.

➣➣

Police Precinct - Interrogation Room

Slade was sitting at the table, handcuffed.

Sara, Jessica and Lance were watching him from the other side of the glass.

"Any idea what this son of a bitch wants with Thea Queen?" Lance asked.

"No," Jessica answered.

"We just need to make sure that Slade gives up where he's holding her," Sara told them.

"Do Oliver and Skylar know?" Jessica asked. "That you're working with the vigilantes on this?"

Sara shook her head. "They don't know anything about the vigilantes."

Jessica looked at Lance. "Hey, you okay?"

"Yeah," Lance answered. "It's just that look in Moira's eyes. Terrified she's lost her daughter. I couldn't go through that again."

There was a knock on the door.

A woman officer walked in. "The Queen family's here."

Main Room

Oliver, Skylar and Moira walked in toward Jill, Lance and Jessica.

"Did he tell you where Thea is?" Oliver asked.

Pike walked closer. "Mrs. Queen, thank you for coming."

"This doesn't make any sense," Moira told them. "Slade Wilson is a friend."

"And he's been in Costa Rica for the past 72 hours," Pike told them. "He can provide flight manifest, phone records, even some videos, so he couldn't have taken Thea."

Jill, Oliver and Skylar looked at each other worriedly.

"If he didn't, then why did you arrest him?" Moira asked.

"We didn't," Pike told them. "He was apprehended by the vigilantes." He looked at Jessica. "Who then contacted Officer Lance."

"Lieutenant, I can explain," Jessica told him.

"No, I think I got a pretty clear picture," Pike told her. "God, you're a special kind of stupid." Jessica rolled her eyes. "The whole reason you're wearing that uniform instead of a detective's shield is 'cause you were working with the vigilantes."

Jessica gave him a look. "A young girl is missing, and you just--"

"And now you arrest someone on their say-so?" Pike asked. "Lucky if the next uniform that puts you in isn't prison gray."

Pike walked away.

Jessica sighed, closing her eyes.

Lance gave Jessica a look.

Interrogation Room

Jill, Oliver and Skylar walked in to talk to Slade.

"They're calling you Deathstroke," Skylar told him.

"It's a bit flamboyant," Slade told them, chuckling. "I like it."

"How did you get off the island?" Oliver asked.

"That is your first question?" Slade asked skeptically.

"Well, you've made it pretty clear that you're not going to tell us where our sister is, so yeah," Oliver answered. "That's my first question."

"I swam," Slade answered. "But it wasn't without its obstacles. The rip current dragged me under. The rocks on the reef cut up my flesh to the bone. But the Mirakuru... it regenerated everything." He pointed at his eye patch. "Except this."

Skylar sighed, trying everything she could to keep control of herself. "You know, it's just the three of us in here, so why don't we try being honest? Why are you doing this?"

Slade smirked, nodding to Oliver and Jill. "They know why."

"It was five years ago," Jill told him.

"It was yesterday," Slade told them. "Oh, I tried to let go of the island, but it's still got a hold on me. And if what you two do every night is any indication, it's still got a hold of both of you kids."

Jill sighed. "Thea never did anything to you. We did. Shado is dead because of us. So punish us. Blame us. But... what you did to Skylar... Don't do anything to Thea."

"You want us to beg?" Skylar asked. "Is that what this is all about? Because we are begging. You win. Just, please... please tell us where she is."

"Hmm, that must have been hard for you to say," Slade told her. "I can see it in your eyes, Skylar. You don't want to beg. You want to beat me until I tell you what you want to know, and it's taking everything you have to keep yourself in control. And Thea... Well, Thea's--"

Pike walked in. "Jillian. Skylar. Oliver. Who the hell let you in here?" They didn't answer. Pike walked toward Slade to uncuff him. "Mr. Wilson, you are free to go, with the department's deepest apologies."

Slade stood. "No need, lieutenant. An innocent girl's life hands in the balance. You need to follow every lead possible."

"Well, still, you should know that Officer Lance is facing some very serious charges," Pike told him.

"Well, don't pursue them on my behalf," Slade told him. He looked at Jill, Oliver and Skylar significantly. "I'm not one to hold a grudge."

Jill, Oliver and Skylar glared at him as he walked out.

Outside

Slade was walking through the sea of reporters toward his limo.

"Mr. Wilson?" a reporter asked. "Mr. Wilson, have the police cleared you of all charges?"

"I was in Costa Rica, but returned to Starling City as soon as I heard the terrible news," Slade told them.

Moira, Skylar, Oliver and Jill walked out of the precinct, through the crowd, seeing John and Justin in a nearby car.

"What did you tell them about Thea Queen's disappearance?" a reporter asked.

"I'm offering every resource at my disposal, plus a $5 million reward for any information that leads to Thea Queen's captors," Slade told them, getting into his limo, driving away.

John and Justin exchanged a look, sighing.

On the Road

John and Justin followed Slade.

"This is Dig and Just," John told them. "We've got the follow."

Felicity was in the foundry, at the computers. "Tracker on his car is active. Roy, he's coming up on your position."

Roy was hiding out at a building on a street corner, watching Slade's limo. "Got him. He's turning up Warner."

"I see him," Felicity told them. "Heading north."

An SUV drove in John and Justin's way of following Slade.

Justin sighed in frustration. "Damn it. We lost him."

"It's all right," Felicity told them. "I still have eyes on him. Sara, Amy, cut right onto Downey."

Amy/Ruby and Sara/Canary were driving on motorcycles with helmets on.

"Got him," Amy told them. They stopped at the stoplight next to a black car, opening the lenses in their helmets. "Negative. Negative, it's not him."

"What?" Felicity asked. Pinpoints saying Slade appeared all over Felicity's screen. "Oh, my God. He's cloned the tracker's signal. Roy, you've got to move." Roy was running down the street. "Roy, you got to pick him up on Fuller." Roy nearly got hit by a car, narrowly avoiding. He looked around, unable to see where Slade had gone. "Roy, do you still have eyes on him? Roy? Roy!"

Warehouse

Thea was sitting in a chair.

Two guards stood nearby with guns.

Slade walked in. "Leave us." The guards walked out, leaving. Slade pulled up a chair in front of Thea. "Sorry I was gone for so long."

"Screw you," Thea told him.

"I saw your family and your friend Jill," Slade told her. "They're all quite worried about you."

Slade sat down in front of Thea.

Thea glared at him. "If you hurt them, I swear I--"

"Please, go on," Slade told her. "Finish that sentence. I'm curious to know what kind of threat a 20-year-old girl can make."

"What do you want with me?" Thea asked.

"Well, that, Thea, is a very long story," Slade told her.

Thea looked around. "Looks like I've got time."

"Not at all," Slade told her. "You're free to go."

"What?" Thea asked.

Slade leaned forward in his chair. "I had to make a point, and I made it. The door is unlocked, so you can leave any time you'd like."

Thea stood, walking toward the door. "But those guys who work for you will shoot me the second I walk out."

"No, they won't," Slade told her. "Their instructions were to keep you here until I returned. And I have. So... you're free to go." Thea opened the door. Slade stood, turning to face her. "But if you do, you may never know about your brother and sister's secret."

Thea looked at him suspiciously in confusion. "What?"

"Your siblings have a secret, Thea," Slade told her. "Would you like to know what it is?"

Thea hesitated, not knowing what to do.

Jill, Amy, Sara, Justin, John, Roy and Felicity were all here.

"So, what now?" Felicity asked.

"Wait for Oliver," Justin answered. "Figure out what our next move will be."

"Wait for him to tell us, you mean," Roy told them. "We can't do anything without King Queen's permission."

"You're out of line, Roy," John told him.

"All right, let's all just calm down here," Sara told them. "Slade outplayed us. It happens."

"No, it only happened because the police let Slade go," Roy told them. "After we turned him in, because Oliver told us to."

"What were we supposed to do?" Amy asked.

Roy looked at John and Justin. "You're both special forces." He looked at Sara and Amy. "You're both international assassins." He looked at Jill. "You're a vigilante with the choice of weapons as swords and knives. You would think between all of us, we could have gotten answers out of Slade ourselves instead of turning him into the police. Here's what's really sick. Is we didn't even question him because he said it was the right thing to do. Just like he said that I needed to break up with Thea one week after telling me that it wasn't safe for me to leave her alone."

"Wait," Felicity told him. "You think it's Oliver's fault that Slade took Thea?"

"I think it was his fault that I wasn't there to stop Slade," Roy told them.

"And I think you're just blaming Oliver because you lost Slade," Jill told him.

"Well, of course you'd take his side," Roy told her. "You're screwing him."

Everyone gave him a look.

Queen Mansion - Outside

A few police cars were outside with their lights flashing.

Inside - Living Room

Moira was looking at a picture of her family.

Skylar was sitting nearby on a couch.

Oliver was standing at the door with Lance and a few officers. "Can you guys give us a minute, please?"

They nodded, walking out, leaving.

Oliver walked toward Skylar and Moira.

Moira turned to face Skylar. "Do you remember how you and Thea both loved to color? Your father would buy you both boxes of crayons by the truckload. You girls could never get enough. You'd draw on the walls. And I could never get angry, because it was just so adorable."

Skylar looked down.

Oliver looked at Moira. "You should try to get some sleep."

Skylar stood, turning to leave.

Moira whispered to where she could barely be heard. "Is my baby still alive?"

Skylar turned back. "What?"

"Is my baby still alive?" Moira asked.

"Yes," Oliver answered.

Moira looked at Oliver sadly. "I woke up every day for five years the mother who lost her son. I--I can't... I can't endure it again. And now you both hate me, and you have every justification."

"Now is not the time," Oliver told her.

"Yes, it is," Moira told them. "It is exactly the time. I've told you that these lies were to keep our family safe; to keep us all together, but that was the biggest lie of all. And I told it to both of you, to Thea, to myself. Because I was too weak to face any kind of truth."

"What's happening now isn't your fault," Skylar told her.

Moira turned away, putting the family picture down, sighing. "From the moment your children are born, you worry about what the world might do to them. But you never stop to think what you might do to them. That we could be our own worst enemy."

Oliver and Skylar both walked closer to stand on either side of Moira and take their mother by the hands.

Flashback

Night - Lian Yu - Fuselage

Slade and his men dragged the weak and tortured Oliver, Jill and Ivo into the plane hideout after dark, joining Sara, Anatoly, Thomas, Hendrick and the other man.

Sara looked at Oliver and Jill worriedly, turning to Slade. "What did you do to them?"

"Not enough," Slade told her, pushing Ivo, Oliver and Jill over to their side. Hendrick was unconscious. Slade walked closer. "And what did you do to him?"

"We just knocked him out," Sara told him. "It's better that way. He wasn't exactly a fan of the arrangement."

"I would imagine," Slade told them.

"Hendrick's all yours," Sara told him.

"I know," Slade told them. The men started to take Hendrick away. Anatoly pulled the pin out of the grenade they had planted on Hendrick. Slade turned after the men. "Wait. It's an incredible thing, this Mirakuru. Not only does it give you strength. It also heightens all of your senses." He took a deep breath. "TNT has a particular smell." He took the vest with the bombs off of Hendrick. "How long before it goes off? 90 seconds? 60 seconds? You're probably thinking that the blast would kill me, but I disagree. Not that I could say the same for you lot." He turned to Oliver and Jill, holding up the vest. "I am tempted to see this blow you to pieces." He pulled out his gun, aiming at Jill. "But then again, maybe I'll just shoot you the same way that he shot Shado."

Oliver stood to put himself between Slade and Jill. "No."

Shado appeared as a hallucination in his head. "Slade..."

Now

Night - Verdant - Foundry

Jill, Justin, John, Sara, Amy, Felicity and Roy were still in the basement of Verdant.

Roy walked toward the stairs.

Sara stepped in his way. "Hey, where are you going?"

"Well, sitting around here isn't helping Thea, now is it?" Roy asked.

Jill stood, walking closer. "Neither is you running off half-cocked, Roy."

John had his hand on his back holster, ready to draw his gun if needed.

Roy scoffed, looking at Sara and Jill. "I know that you think that this is the Mirakuru, but it's not. I'm right, and you know that I am. So you better get the hell out of my way."

"Roy, just calm down," Felicity told him. "It's what Thea would want us to do."

"She's right, Roy," Justin told him. "Come on, let's throttle back."

Jill put a hand on Roy's shoulder. Roy grabbed her arm forcefully, twisting it behind her back painfully, pushing her face first against the table.

Felicity stood in shock.

John drew his gun, aiming at Roy.

An arrow was shot into the wall.

Everyone looked at Amy.

Amy had Oliver's bow and arrow aimed at Roy. "Next one goes into your chest. Let her go."

"You would honestly kill me because I dare to criticize the almighty Oliver Queen?" Roy asked.

"No," Amy answered. "I'd kill you because you're hurting my sister. Let her go."

Oliver and Skylar walked in.

Jill twisted out of Roy's grasp, pushing him back. "You need to stop."

Roy was very close to losing himself to the rage, stepping closer to Jill to fight back.

"Speedy!" Skylar told him. Roy stopped, seeming mostly shaken out of it, but still angry. "What the hell's going on down here?"

"I'm done," Roy told them. "That's what's going on. Thea? She's out there, hurt or worse, and it's not because of Slade Wilson."

"Roy..." Jill trailed off.

"I believed in you," Roy told them. "There's nothing left for me here."

Roy walked out, leaving.

Felicity looked at the beeping computers. "Oh, my God. Oliver."

"Now what?" John asked.

Justin sighed.

Queen Consolidated - Conference Room

Isabel was holding a meeting with the board. "Publicity has drafted a rather compelling statement, and I will be doing the talk show rounds to control the spin."

Oliver and Skylar walked in with a man.

"I'm sorry, Mrs. Rochev, but they were very..." the man trailed off, looking at Skylar nervously. "Insistent."

"Can you give us the room, please?" Isabel asked.

Everyone else walked out, leaving.

"Isabel, what have you done?" Oliver asked.

"Me?" Isabel asked. "Very little. You're the one who made this possible when you made me CEO. I know it was only temporary, but it gave me the authority I needed to call an emergency board meeting. As of 30 minutes ago, your company belongs to me. The directors unanimously made my appointment permanent. I'd say they lost faith in your leadership, but that would imply there was any. Maybe you should have focused a little less on your... evening activities."

Skylar looked at her knowingly. "Slade. You're working for him."

"With," Isabel corrected. Skylar glared at Isabel, stalking closer, making her back away toward the wall. "He knew planting me in your family's business would draw your brother back to Starling City. Truth be told, I was skeptical, but..."

Skylar gripped Isabel by the throat, pushing her against the wall angrily, starting to lose control. "Why are you doing this?"

"I think it's sad you don't know," Isabel told them. "The sins of the father are the sins of the children."

Isabel jumped toward Skylar, making them both roll over the floor toward Oliver. They both got into crouching positions, glaring at each other, slowly rising to their feet. Isabel tried to kick Skylar. Skylar raised an arm to block the move, spinning around to kick Isabel in the face, making her spit out blood.

Oliver watched worriedly.

Skylar slammed Isabel onto the table furiously, barely holding onto control. "You are going to tell us where our sister is, or I am going to kill you."

➣➣

Skylar raised her voice angrily. "Where is she?"

"He's holding her at a storage depot warehouse just outside the city limits," Isabel told them. "Tosca Cartage."

"How do we know you're not lying?" Oliver asked.

Isabel laughed. "It's cute how you think this isn't all playing out exactly how he wants it to." Oliver pulled Skylar away from Isabel to get her to let her go, pulling her toward the door so they could leave. Isabel stood. "And he wants only you two and Jill to come. If he even smells your partners, he will gut sweet little Thea like a trout." Skylar looked so full of anger and rage that she would try to attack Isabel again, but Oliver pulled her toward the door. "It was a pleasure doing business with you, Queens."

Verdant - Foundry

Oliver and Jill were getting suited up and ready to leave with Skylar.

"At least let us scout the perimeter," John told them.

"No, Isabel was very clear," Oliver told them. "Skylar, Jill and I come alone, or Thea dies."

"This is another one of Slade's games," Sara told them. "And unless--"

"No, what we can't do, Sara, is nothing," Jill told her. She looked at Amy. "What would you do if it was me?" She looked at Sara. "What would you do if it were Laurel, or Jessica, or your father, or your mother? I will not get dragged into the same debate over and over again."

"Go," Justin told them. "Go get Thea. Stop Slade."

"Do whatever it takes," Amy told them. "End this once and for all."

Skylar, Oliver and Jill turned around, walking toward the stairs.

On the Road

Oliver/Arrow and Jill/Sapphire were riding together on one motorcycle, while Skylar was following them on another.

Unknown Location

Slade was suiting up into the Deathstroke uniform, pulling on his mask.

Tosca Cartage

Oliver, Jill and Skylar took separate entrances to find Thea faster.

Several guards walked toward Skylar. Guard 1 tried to punch her. Skylar raised her arm to block the move, kicking Guard 2 behind her, slamming her arm into Guard 1's head, making him fall unconscious. Guard 3 ran closer, trying to punch her. Skylar ducked, kicking him in the stomach, making him double over, wrapping her legs around his neck, flipping him to the floor, landing in a crouch. She stood, running toward Guard 4, jumping up to deliver a nasty punch, making him fall unconscious. Guards 5 and 6 ran closer. Guard 5 to hit Skylar with a plank. Skylar ducked, kicking into Guard 5's legs, making him fall, spinning to kick the legs out from under Guard 6 to knock him down. She caught the plank as it fell, standing. Guard 7 ran closer, yelling. Skylar hit him in the stomach with the plank, dropping it, jumping onto his back, spinning around his head to wrap her legs around his neck and flip him to the ground, landing next to him.

Hallway

Oliver was walking through a hallway. Guard 8 tried to shoot him. Oliver shot an arrow in his arm, making him drop the gun, and fall. Guard 9 ran toward him. Oliver grabbed him by the neck, flipping him to the ground, punching him in the face, hitting him in the head with his bow, knocking him out, standing. He turned toward Guard 10 down the hallway, shooting an arrow into his leg, making him fall. He walked closer, pulling the arrow out of his leg, making him yell in pain, walking away.

On the Road

Slade/Deathstroke was standing in the middle of the road.

A prison transport bus drove closer.

A guard looked at the driver. "Stop, stop!"

Tosca Cartage

Jill walked toward several more guards, slashing a knife toward Guard 11. Guard 11 ducked. Jill kicked him in the back, spinning to backhand punch Guard 12 in the face. Both guards tried to punch her. Jill ducked, stabbing Guard 11 in the leg with a knife, kicking him in the face, making him fall, turning to kick Guard 12 in the leg, making him fall to his knees, spinning to kick him in the head, making him fall unconscious. Guard 13 ran closer, trying hit Jill with a baton. Jill ducked, stabbing him in the arm with a knife, kicking him in the legs, making him fall to his knees. Guard 14 ran toward her from behind. Jill spun to stab him in the shoulder, kicking him in the stomach, making him fall.

Hallway

Guard 15 ran toward Oliver. Oliver grabbed him, throwing him against a wall, making him fall. Guard 16 ran closer from behind him. Oliver turned to shoot an arrow into his leg, making him fall. Guard 17 ran closer, trying to punch him. Oliver ducked, grabbing him, turning around, throwing him to the floor. He turned to shoot Guard 18 in the leg, making him fall.

Another Hallway

Skylar was holding Guard 19 in a headlock from behind, looking consumed by anger and rage, ready to snap his neck.

Oliver and Jill ran into the hallway in time to see this.

"Skylar, stop!" Jill told her. "This is what Slade wants. He wants you to lose yourself to the Mirakuru like he did. He wants to turn you into a killer like him."

Skylar hesitated, looking so conflicted between succumbing to the rage and taking a life, or staying true to herself and remaining as pure as she could, tears in her eyes from all of the events happening at once.

"The only way to make sure that he doesn't get what he wants is to stay true to yourself and not become what he is," Oliver told her. "Let him go. Please, Sky. Sky!"

Skylar took several deep breaths, letting go of Guard 19's head, turning around, throwing him through the double doors at the end of the hallway with enough strength to break the doors down and knock him out.

Oliver and Jill exchanged a relieved look. They and Skylar walked into the room, to see that the room was empty.

On the Road

Slade was still standing in front of the prison transport bus.

A guard walked outside, aiming a gun at Slade. "Halloween was six months ago, ass hat. Now get off the road or get put down. You hear me?"

Slade drew a sword, throwing it into the guard's chest, killing him, making him fall. He drew a gun, shooting the two other guards in the van.

All of the prisoners inside stood to see what was going on, afraid that they were next to die.

Slade beckoned for them to come out.

All of the prisoners walked off of the bus toward Slade.

"I have a proposal for you men," Slade told them.

The prisoners were confused.

Tosca Cartage

Oliver, Jill and Skylar were in the room.

Jill looked at Skylar. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine," Skylar answered.

The Bluetooths rang.

Jill answered. "Thea's not here."

Felicity's voice was on the other line. "You did it."

"Did what?" Oliver asked.

"Thea's fine," Felicity told them. She was at the computers in the basement of Verdant. "She's fine. She walked into the precinct five minutes ago. Safe and sound." Skylar, Jill and Oliver looked at each other in confusion, wondering why Slade would have led them there. "Did you hear me?"

➣➣

Police Precinct

In normal clothes, Oliver, Jill and Skylar walked into the precinct to join John, Justin, Sara and Amy.

"Thea?" Jill asked.

"She's fine," Amy answered. "No injuries. He didn't touch her."

"He wasn't there," Oliver told them. "He had a lot of men. Hired guns. He wasn't there."

"Because he was busy elsewhere," Justin told them.

"Iron Heights reopened a wing damaged in the quake," John told them. "There was a prisoner transfer. Slade hijacked it. Soldiers for his army."

"Abducting Thea was all a diversion," Sara told them.

"It wasn't just a diversion," Skylar told them. "It was an attempt to get me to lose control like he did. To punish Jill and Oliver, making me like him."

Justin sighed worriedly.

Moira walked closer. "Oliver. Skylar."

Oliver took Moira and Skylar's hands.

Office

Oliver, Skylar and Moira walked into the office where Thea was.

"Oh, thank God," Skylar told her.

Moira cried in relief. "Oh, my baby."

They all embraced Thea, but she didn't return the hugs, because she was in shock and angry.

"What?" Oliver asked.

"He told me," Thea told them. "Mr. Wilson... he told me your secret." Oliver and Skylar were in shock, thinking that she meant about the vigilantism. "How you've been lying to me for years. How could you not tell me Malcolm Merlyn was my father? I believed in you."

Oliver, Skylar and Moira were heartbroken that she had to find out this way.

Thea shook her head, walking toward the door.

Oliver turned after her. "We were trying to keep you safe."

Thea scoffed. "Do you have any idea who you sound like?" She looked at Moira. "You sound like her."

Thea walked away.

Flashback

Night - Lian Yu - Fuselage

Everyone was still in the fuselage.

Slade still had his gun trained on Jill and Oliver.

His hallucination of Shado still stood behind him. "Slade... death's too good for them. This island should be their punishment."

"Death is too good for you," Slade told them. "This island should be your punishment."

"Their prison for the rest of their days," Shado told him.

"Your prison for the rest of your days," Slade told them. He looked at the men holding Hendrick. "Get him out of here."

The men took Hendrick away.

"Slade..." Ivo trailed off, walking closer.

Slade aimed the gun at him. "Get back!"

"I can help you," Ivo told him.

Slade gripped Ivo by his throat. "You can live, or you can die. You choose." He walked toward the door, looking back at Oliver. "Would you like to send a message to your family? 'Cause as soon as this boat is fixed, I'm paying them a visit."

Slade walked out, leaving.

Oliver slowly turned to face Jill and Sara.

Now

Night - Police Precinct - Outside

Thea walked out of the station alone, walking down the sidewalk.

Roy was watching her from his red car from nearby, relieved that she was okay, but regretful that he had to go, driving away, out of Starling City.

Inside

Laurel, Sara and Jessica were sitting together. Jessica had just changed out of her uniform.

Lance walked toward them. "Hell of a night."

"Quentin Lance, master of the understatement," Sara told them.

Pike walked toward them, looking at Jessica. "A word, officer?"

Jessica sighed. "Hold on, guys." She walked toward Pike, knowing that this wasn't going to be good. "Yeah?"

"I've spoke to DA Spencer about your... situation," Pike told her. "She doesn't want to press charges, if you cooperate. Tell us who the vigilantes are."

Jessica scoffed. "Well, I'd love to, but I don't know."

"Well, that's unfortunate," Pike told her.

"Yeah, it looks like," Jessica told him.

"Jessica Eve Lance, you're under arrest for conspiracy and aiding in multiple felonies," Pike told her.

Sara and Laurel were stunned.

Lance looked at them in surprise. "What? Are you out of your mind?"

Pike took out his cuffs.

"What are you doing?" Jessica asked. "Wilson did it. I arrested the right guy. What are you--"

Pike started to cuff Jessica. "You have the remain silent."

Jessica sighed, thinking that she should have seen this coming, annoyed that it was happening.

"What are you doing?" Laurel asked incredulously.

Pike ignored them, looking at Jessica. "You have the right to an attorney."

"Jessie?" Sara asked.

Pike took Jessica away.

Queen Consolidated - CEO Office

Slade was sitting at the desk, watching the news.

Sebastian was standing across the desk from him.

Woman: (on news) "Riding what pundits are calling a sympathy bump, Moira Queen pulled far ahead of Sebastian Blood in the latest polls conducted in the last 24 hours by channel--"

Sebastian looked at Slade. "This whole thing just blew up in my face." He slammed the desk angrily. "How the hell do I get elected now?"

Isabel walked closer.

Slade looked at Sebastian. "I think you intended a different tone."

"You said I'd be mayor," Sebastian told him. "And you just delivered this election for Moira Queen, and for what?" Slade stood. "What is this obsession you have with the Queen family?"

"You haven't told him?" Isabel asked in amusement, chuckling.

Slade smirked, walking past Isabel toward Sebastian. "Shh."

Sebastian pointed at Slade. "You promised me."

Slade pointed at Sebastian angrily. "I promised this city. I promised you an army with which to take it." He paced around Sebastian, looking at Isabel. "What is our status?"

"Queen Consolidated's applied sciences division is now fully dedicated to replicating a serum based on your blood sample," Isabel told him.

"You see, everything is proceeding as planned," Slade told them, walking toward the door.

"Where are you going now?" Sebastian asked.

"To service my obsession," Slade answered. A hallucination of Shado was standing behind Slade. "Oliver Queen and Jill Wright need one more distraction."

Slade walked away.

Verdant - Foundry

John, Felicity, Justin and Jill were waiting.

Skylar and Oliver walked downstairs toward them.

"What are you guys doing here?" Skylar asked.

"We thought this is where you would go," Felicity told them. "You're predictable. That, and Oliver and Jill have been sleeping on the cot at night."

"What are you doing here?" Skylar asked.

"Where else would we be?" Justin asked.

Oliver slowly sat down. "Roy was right. At every turn, I had made the wrong decision. With him, with... the company, and... and with Thea." Jill looked at him sadly. "I was so focused on what Slade might do to me, that it never... even occurred to me what I could do to myself. I am my own worst enemy."

"That's Slade talking, Oliver," John told him. "Don't let him in your head."

Oliver stood. "I can't keep him out of my head, Diggle. I can't... I can't stop him from doing anything."

Jill walked closer. "Yes, you can."

"What makes you so sure?" Oliver asked.

"Because you're not alone, Oliver," Jill answered.

Oliver looked down sadly.

"Now what?" Justin asked.

Skylar sighed deeply. "Now we fight back."

Laurel's Apartment - Living Room

Laurel was watching the news.

Woman: (on TV) "Police have issued a warrant for Slade Wilson after Thea Queen named him as the mastermind of her kidnapping yesterday. This is the wake of Wilson's arrest and subsequent release by the SCPD hours before Miss Queen was released. In a statement to the press, SCPD Lieutenant Franklin Pike reiterated his support for his department despite what appears to be a serious blunder. He went on to say, the SCPD is committed to making sure any arrest they make is a legal one, but without sufficient..."

There was a knock on the door.

Laurel walked toward the door, opening it to reveal Slade outside, gasping, trying to slam the door in his face.

Slade easily pushed the door open, walking in. "Don't worry. I am not here to harm you."

"Go to hell," Laurel told him angrily.

"All in good time, I'm sure," Slade told her. "But before then, I have come to Starling City to see Oliver Queen and Jillian Wright suffer."

"What?" Laurel asked. "Why?"

"Because they're not the people you think they are," Slade told her.

"And how would you know that?" Laurel asked.

"Because I know Oliver Queen is the Arrow, and Jill Wright is Sapphire," Slade answered, turning around, walking out, leaving.

Laurel was stunned and in shock, gasping slightly, looking as if everything was falling into place in her mind.
