From 2.01 "City of Heroes", in the conference room, Oliver stood in front of the board.

Oliver: (voice over) "My name is Oliver Queen."

From 2.01 "City of Heroes", in the cemetery, Jill was sitting at Tommy's grave in guilt.

Jill: (voice over) "I'm Jill Wright."

From 1.06 "Legacies", in flashback to the cave on Lian Yu, Oliver was aiding Jill after they saved her from the soldiers.

Oliver lifted the back of her shirt to reveal carved tally marks in her back that were bleeding and scarred. They were all over her back, the tally marks small to include all of the number of the days. There were a few in her shoulders, as the skin of her back couldn't hold it all.

Jill: (voice over) "After five years on a hellish island..."

From 1.23 "Sacrifice", in flashback to the soldier camp, Jill jumped down from the missile launcher, taking cover.

The missile hit the ground at the soldier camp, setting it ablaze.

Jill sat back tiredly on the ground, watching the flames.

From 1.06 "Legacies", in the hideout, Oliver and Jill were training at the hideout with two metal short staffs. Oliver and shirtless. Jill was in workout clothes, including a sports bra. Oliver swung both of his up over their heads, trying to come down on her. Jill raised both of hers in an X shape to block both of his.

Jill: (voice over) "We have come to Starling City with only one goal."

From 1.08 "Vendetta", in the hideout, Jill was getting suited up.

Oliver was watching from nearby, getting suited up.

John and Justin walked closer.

Jill: (voice over) "To save the city."

From 1.21 "The Undertaking", in the casino, Oliver/Arrow fired an arrow into a man's shoulder, making him fall.

Oliver: (voice over) "But to do so..."

From 1.16 "Dead to Rights", on the helipad, Oliver/Arrow and Guillermo Barrera were fighting. Oliver stabbed him with an arrow, killing him.

Oliver: (voice over) "I can't be the killer I once was."

From 1.19 "Unfinished Business", in the lab at the asylum, Oliver/Arrow stabbed the orderly in the chest with an arrow, killing him.

From 1.23 "Sacrifice", in Merlyn Global Group, Tommy and Oliver/Arrow helped Jill/Sapphire inside to get them to the ground outside.

The building was falling apart around them.

Tommy saw rubble falling toward them, pushing them out of the way.

The debris fell onto Tommy, making him fall, pinning him down.

Jill started to pull the debris away.

A pipe had been stabbed into Tommy's chest.

Oliver and Jill were horrified.

Oliver: (voice over) "To honor my friend's memory, I must be someone else."

From 2.01 "City of Heroes", in the cemetery, Oliver and Jill stood at Tommy's grave.

From 2.01 "City of Heroes", in the foundry, Oliver and Jill walked in to join John, Justin and Felicity.

Jill: (voice over) "I must be..."

Jill looked at the knife in her hand. She morphed into Sapphire.

Jill: (voice over) "Something else."

Oliver looked at the arrow in his hand. He morphed into Arrow.

➣ ➣

From 1.16 "Dead to Rights", in the hallway of Merlyn Global, Jill/Sapphire faced Kira and Karma, drawing her swords.

John: (voice over) "Previously on Sapphire Arrow."

Kira and Karma stood together. Kira drew her staff. Karma drew blades. They stood ready to fight.

Lyla: (voice over from 2.04 Crucible) "You remember the twins? Kira and Karma Mahageni?"

From 2.06 "Keep Your Enemies Closer", in the cold room of the Gulag, Floyd and Karma were chained to the bar over their heads.

"You work for the Triad," Floyd told her.

"We did before," Karma told him. "Now we don't. We jumped ship."

"You went from the Triad to ARGUS," Floyd told her.

Sergei unchained Karma.

Karma sighed. "My job is to bring you in." She grabbed Floyd's chains from above the bar, pulling him off. "Doesn't mean I have to free you from chains."

Sergei and Karma walked away, pulling Floyd with them.

From 2.06 "Keep Your Enemies Closer", in the hallway of Gulag, John and Kira were walking down the hallway.

"Smart," John told her.

"Yeah, well, we have experience," Kira told him.

From 2.06 "Keep Your Enemies Closer", in the road, John aimed his gun at Floyd.

"How is it you think your brother ended up dead?" Floyd asked.

"You shot a client that Andy was protecting, and you missed," John told him.

"I don't miss," Floyd told him.

Kira and Karma got out of the van, walking toward Floyd.

Kira looked at John. "He'll be at ARGUS where he can't hurt anyone without needing to."

Kira and Karma grabbed Floyd by the chains, starting to drag him away.

From 2.15 "The Promise", in flashback to the freighter, Oliver was aiming his bow and arrow at Ivo. "You murdered Shado."

"Yes, I pulled the trigger, but you, you aimed the gun," Ivo told him.  "You chose Jill over Shado."

Oliver lowered his bow, turning around.

Slade walked in, removing his Deathstroke mask, looking at Oliver in shocked, angry betrayal.

From 2.15 "The Promise", outside of the Queen Mansion, Slade was in his car, talking to Oliver, Jill, Skylar, Amy and Sara.

Skylar walked closer. "Why did you have the guy in the skull mask give me the Mirakuru?"

"Because I wanted to do to you what was done to me," Slade answered. He looked at Oliver and Jill. "Five years ago, I made you a promise."

From 2.15 "The Promise", in flashback on the freighter, Slade had the ship's men aiming guns at Oliver and Jill, walking closer. "You cannot die until you have known complete despair." Oliver stood between Jill and Slade. "And you will. I promise."

Day One

Night - Verdant - Foundry

There was a mattress in the foundry of the basement in Verdant, where Oliver and Jill were sleeping.

Oliver was sleeping.

Jill was watching him, standing, walking away, picking up her phone to make a call, sighing, speaking in Russian. "Mne nuzhno vstretit'sya svami."

Warehouse District

Jill was at a warehouse district in the middle of the night, walking toward Alexi Leonov and his men from the Bratva station in Starling City. She managed a small, awkward smile. "Alexi. How are you, my friend?"

Alexi shook her hand. "What can I do for you? There's no Gulags here in Starling City.'

Jill chuckled. "Anatoly talks too much."

Alexi laughed. "Eto verno."

"I need you to find a man for me," Jill told him. "His name is Slade Wilson. He's rich, Australian, and he's missing an eye. I need to know where he sleeps."

"First, I need your assistance with my business," Alexi told her. "There is a man who owes me a substantial amount of money."

"I am not here to trade," Jill told him.

"You know how the Bratva works," Alexi told her. "I do a favor for you and you do one for me."

"Put it on my tab, Alexi," Jill told him. "I don't have time for these games."

"Make time," Alexi told her. "My services are of no use to you unless yours are use to me."

Two men walked closer from behind Jill, prepared to draw their guns if necessary.

Jill gave Alexi a hard look. "Okay." She turned around, punching Man 1 in the face, taking his gun from him, kicking him in the face, making him fall to his knees. Man 2 tried to punch her. Jill ducked, taking his gun from his holster, backhand punching him in the face, spinning to kick him in the head, making him flip through the air and land on the ground, turning to aim one gun at Man 1, aiming the other gun at Alexi. "I know exactly how the this brotherhood works, and right now, it works for me." She spoke in Russian. "Do we understand each other?"

➣ Sapphire Arrow ➣

Verdant - Foundry

Jill returned to the foundry.

Oliver was working out heavily, as tense as Jill was about Slade returning, shirtless, using the salmon ladder. He heard her approaching, jumping down. "I woke up and you were gone."

Jill nodded. "Yeah. I wasn't tired."

"You should be," Oliver told her. "When's the last time you actually slept?"

"Right before I found out that Slade Wilson is still alive," Jill answered. "Do you want to talk? I mean, I know neither one of us are very good about sharing our feelings, but... I mean, it's a lot. And, you know... it's okay if you're scared. I am, too."

"I'm not scared," Oliver told her. "Slade came back to Starling City with an agenda. First, he tries to mass produce the Mirakuru. He gave it to Skylar, so that it could destroy her like it destroyed him. Then he shows up... at my mother's house. So, he wants a fight? Fine. I'll give him a fight. And this time, when I kill him, I will make damn sure that he stays dead. I just need to find him."

"I'm working on it," Jill told him.

"What does that mean?" Oliver asked.

"It means I'm working on it," Jill answered. "You have enough to worry about with your family, Ollie. Let me worry about finding Slade."

Day Two

Morning - Felicity's Apartment - Outside - Justin's Car

Justin was sitting in a car outside of Felicity's house.

Felicity walked out of the house in pajamas with a mug, getting into the car.

"Ooh, coffee?" Justin asked.

Felicity handed the mug to him. "Hot cocoa."

Justin nodded. "Hmm. What, no marshmallows?"

"I'm out," Felicity told him, closing the car door. "What are you doing here, Justin?"

"Keeping an eye on things," Justin answered.

"Okay," Felicity told him. "And by things, you mean my neck. The one you think Slade Wilson's going to break in my sleep."

Justin took a drink. "Yeah, something like that. Look, Dig's got extra security details on Oliver's mother. Skylar and Roy are keeping an eye on Thea. Sara's staying close to her family. Oliver and Jill are looking out for each other. Amy's looking out for them."

"So, I get you sitting outside of my house like that lacrosse player my freshman year of college," Felicity told him. Justin chuckled, taking a drink. "What? You know, I had a life before all of this, yeah?"

"Right," Justin told her. "I just want to make sure you're okay, Felicity."

"And I love you for it," Felicity told him. "But if Slade wants to kill me, he can. There's nothing you can do to stop him. Even if my brother is some badass instructor on control and fighting, and is most likely the only thing that's keeping Skylar Queen from going nuts on Slade after the other night. Go home, okay?"

Felicity got out of the car.

"Hey," Justin told her. Felicity turned back. Justin handed the mug back to her. "Nice jammies."

Felicity took the mug back, smiling a small smile, turning around, walking into her house.

Justin sighed heavily, checking his phone, seeing no new messages or alerts. He put the car in drive, driving away.

Hotel - Hallway

John walked toward the hotel, knocking on the door.

Lyla opened the door, wearing lingerie. "What took you so long?"

Hotel Room

(Song:) Short Line - RY X

John walked in, turning to face Lyla. "What is all this?" Lyla closed the door. "A little early for champagne, don't you think?"

"Not for me," Lyla answered taking off her silk jacket. "I just got back from a mission in Pyongyang."

"Well, damn," John told her. "That was you?"

"I'm sorry," Lyla told him. "That's classified information. But I missed my ex-husband, new boyfriend. And ARGUS has a standing reservation at this hotel for very important assets."

John smiled a small smile. "Mm-hmm."

Lyla kissed him on the jawline. "Can you stay?"

"Um, well, we kind of have a... situation," John told her.

"Everything all right?" Lyla asked.

John nodded. "Yeah. Yeah, we're handling it."

Lyla nodded. "So you can stay."

Lyla and John smiled, starting to kiss.

Flashback - Six Years Ago

RC-South, Kandahar, Afghanistan

Soldiers were leading a group of people down the way, including Lyla, John and Justin.

"Hey," Lyla told them.

"Is there a problem, Michaels?" Justin asked.

"We need to rest," Lyla told them. "These women are tired."

"We're all tired," John told them. "It's a long hike back to camp. Keep going."

"Shall I go explain to the ladies why they want to get back before dark?" Justin asked.

"They're not allowed to talk to you," Lyla told him.

"Why, 'cause I'm an American?" Justin asked.

"Because you're a man," Lyla answered. "Five minutes."

They stopped walking.

John sighed. "Girls in the military. Can't keep up, don't join up, right?"

Lyla walked toward a woman, speaking in Pashto. "Are you all right? Do you need water?"

The woman spoke in Pashto. "It's my feet.

The woman showed Lyla her bleeding and scraped feet.

Lyla took out a cloth, handing it to the woman, speaking in Pashto. "Here."

Lyla stood, starting to walk away.

The woman grabbed her arm to stop her, speaking in Pashto. "There's something you need to know."

They looked toward a man wrapped in blankets and cloths.

Lyla walked closer, aiming her gun at the man.

"Whoa, whoa, hey," Justin told them. "What's going on here? What's going on?"

Lyla forced the man to his knees, pulling his blankets and cloths off. "You recognize that face? You should. He's on the US Military's high value target list." John pulled out the list, checking. "Gholem Gadir. Opium drug lord and arms dealer."

"Wanted alive," John told them.

Lyla handcuffed Gholem, pulling him to his feet, pushing him along.

Justin looked at John. "What were you saying about women in the military?"

John smirked, looking over his shoulder toward Lyla.

Now

Day - Hotel - Hallway

Lyla and John walked out of the hotel room.

"Why didn't we do fun stuff like this when we were married?" Lyla asked.

"And take time out from our busy schedule of driving each other crazy?" John asked.

They kissed, smiling, pulling away to walk down the hallway, letting their smiles fade when they saw Amanda Waller, Kira and Karma Mahageni.

"Amanda," Lyla told her.

"Don't look so worried, Agent Michaels," Amanda told her. "We've all availed ourselves of the Ostrander Suite at some point in our careers."

John nodded to the twins. "Kira. Karma."

"Hello, John," Kira told him.

"Hi, Lyla," Karma told her.

"Something's come up, and we'll need you to come with us," Amanda told them.

Lyla looked at John. "Duty calls."

"Yeah, guess so," John told her.

"Actually, we meant both of you," Kira told them.

John and Lyla looked at them in surprise.

ARGUS Facility

John, Lyla, Kira and Karma stood together, being debriefed.

"What are we looking at here?" John asked.

Amanda was standing behind them at the table. "Hydrocy-cyclosarin."

"It's a nerve agent," Lyla told them.

"It's the apocalypse in the form of a chemical weapon," Kira told them. "And it's about to hit the open market. ARGUS agents uncovered a manufacturing plant in Kahndaq. All samples were accounted for, except for one."

"Two weeks later, this footage was captured in a remote village in southern Qurac," Karma told them, using the hologram table to pull up the information on the wall, showing pictures of victims. "One milliliter has a kill radius of ten miles. It only took half that amount to produce these results. Our sources have traced the sample through Europe to an estate in Markovia."

"So send in the Army," John told them.

"We send in the Army, we risk an international spectacle our government can't afford," Amanda told them. "This has to be off-book."

"If you need me and the twins to draw up the smash and grab, done," Lyla told her. "But John isn't a field agent. He's not qualified."

"Judging from how he, Oliver Queen and Jill Wright spend their free time, I'd say his credits transfer," Amanda told them.

"Hey, look, I don't want this thing out in the open any more than you do, but I'm not sending my friends in on another one of your business trips," John told her.

"I have no intention of involving the Arrow or Sapphire," Amanda told him. "I need you."

"What for?" John asked.

"Gholem Qadir," Kira answered.

"We caught him," John told them.

"DOD turned Qair loose a few years ago," Kira told him.

"And who thought that was a good idea?" John asked.

"It's a complicated world, Johnny," Lyla told him.

"The nerve agent's not the only WMD Qadir's tried getting his scummy fingers on," Karma told them. "Last month, he tried to buy Malcolm Merlyn's prototype earthquake machine. Thank you for stopping that, by the way."

"Fortunately, he doesn't know about your involvement in that," Kira told him. "He remembers you as the man who tried to save his life. The nerve agent's under lock and key at his estate in Markovia. He's scheduled to host a fundraiser there shortly."

"The two of us haven't exactly kept in touch," John told them.

"We've got that covered, but our window is rapidly closing," Amanda told him.

John sighed. "Okay. So, I infiltrate the fundraiser, come out with the package. Sounds simple enough."

"Nothing in this business is simple," Amanda told him. "You know that, Mr. Diggle. Follow me."

Cell Block

Amanda led John, Lyla, Kira and Karma toward the cells. "I don't need you to get the nerve agent out. I need you to get your team in."

"My team?" John repeated.

"They're designated 'Task Force X'," Amanda told them. "I guess you could say that Kira and Karma are apart of this team, but they are apart of it willingly, unlike the others."

Floyd Lawton, Ben Turner and Mark Scheffer stepped out of their cells.

"Give me a break," Karma told them. "This isn't a task force, or even a team. Let's call it like it is." She smirked. "Welcome to the Suicide Squad."

John glared at Floyd.

➣➣

The ARGUS agents were unlocking Floyd, Ben and Mark's cuffs.

Mark was quoting. "'It's not only prisoners who grow course and hardened from corporal punishment, but those as well who perpetrate the act of who are present to witness it'."

"Oh, please stop giving him books," Ben told them.

"So, this is your unit, huh, Waller?" John asked. "What, OJ and Charles Manson weren't available?"

"This is a dangerous operation," Amanda told him. "And these men have useful skills. Should the mission be compromised..."

"You'll just write them off," John finished. "The Suicide Squad. What, you'll write Kira and Karma off with these psychopaths?"

"We're apart of this willingly for a reason, John," Kira told him. "We did some bad in our day, apart of the Triad. We'd like to make amends for that."

Floyd blew them a kiss, backing away into his cell.

Karma rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, like he would ever make the same sacrifice," John told them. He pulled Lyla aside to talk to her alone. "Lyla, I can't believe you're on board with this. Those men are murderers."

"And what's the number of bodies between Oliver Queen, Jill and Amy Wright and Sara Lance?" Lyla asked.

"What they do, what I do, is completely different," John told her.

"Not really, John," Lyla told him. "Don't you see that?"

"What I see is you letting the man who killed my brother roam completely free," John told her.

"It's not freedom," Lyla told him. "It's work."

"It's wrong," John told her.

A woman called out from her cell. "Do you cuties need some counseling? I'm a trained therapist."

Karma hit the woman's cell door to get her to shut up.

Night - Verdant

(Song:) Fall In Love - Phantogram

Jill and Amy were sitting at the bar.

Amy was bartending and filling applications.

Jill took one of the applications to look at. "'Do you have previous experience in retail?' Does shopping count?" Amy smiled. "I mean, come on, Amy. You already got the job of bartending here at Verdant. Why are you looking for another job? It's not like your life's not busy enough."

Amy shrugged. "I'm looking for another job because some of us still need the money. Not everyone's lucky enough to be Oliver Queen's assistant." Jill looked across the bar toward Oliver distantly. "Speaking of..."

"What?" Jill asked.

"Jill, I've seen that look before," Amy told her. "You always have that look when you go into distant mode. Why are you pushing him away?"

"I'm not trying to... push anyone away," Jill told her. "It's just... with Slade in town, he should worry about his family. Not me. I'll worry about finding the bad guy."

"Oliver's earned the right to worry about you when Slade hates you just as much as he hates him," Amy told her.

"Just keep up your day job," Jill told her. "I need to go downstairs."

Jill walked away.

Oliver was watching from across the club, talking to Roy and Thea. He watched Jill walk toward the basement.

Amy sighed, wiping down the bars.

(Song Ends)

Foundry

Jill walked downstairs into the foundry to talk to Skylar, Justin and Felicity. "What do you got?"

Felicity was sitting at the computers. "I started by tracing the donation Mr. Wilson made to Moira's campaign. All of the money was routed through a series of offshore accounts. None of which link back to a local address, so I looked into a credit card transactions and car rental agreements."

Skylar was lost. "What?"

"He's got to get around somehow, just not by rental car," Felicity told them.

"Slade's former ASIS," Jill told her. "He knows how to be a ghost."

The computer started to beep.

"Robbery in progress," Felicity told her. "5th and Giffen. We're still in the crime fighting business, right?"

Jill nodded, looking toward her suit.

"With Slade out there, you can't go out there by yourself," Justin told her. "He hates you."

"I can take care of myself," Jill told them, walking away to get suited up.

Skylar sighed. "Jill..."

Skylar didn't know what to do, turning to Justin.

Justin sighed, shaking his head.

Upstairs

(Song:) Dangerous - Big Data feat. Joywave

Amy was upstairs, serving drinks to Jessica, Laurel and Sara.

"Uh, these are virgin, right?" Jessica asked. "I mean, I don't know if you've heard about the drinking problems, but..."

Laurel took a drink, wincing at the taste. "It's virgin. Which is why it tastes terrible."

Sara took a drink, wincing. "True."

Amy smiled. She saw Oliver by the door, hesitating, putting down the bottle, walking toward him.

"You haven't seen Jill, have you?" Oliver asked.

"Not since she dashed off downstairs," Amy answered. She crossed her arms over her chest, tilting her head sarcastically. "But it looks like things with you two are going well."

Oliver sighed. "I'm not sure that I want to talk about this."

"And why is that?" Amy asked. "Is it the whole 'your still weirded out by the sister that just came back from the dead and led in a huge mountain of family secrets regarding assassin families'? Sorry." She chuckled. "I'm brutally honest."

Oliver nodded in agreement. "I think I preferred it when we were all lying to each other."

"No, you just thought you did," Amy told him. "Look, I get it, Oliver. I get that neither you or my sister think that either of you deserve to be happy, but you're wrong. Jill thinks that she can keep you and your family safe by finding Slade first, and she's going to the extremes to do it. You may think that keeping her at arm's length, you're protecting her, but you're not. You're only protecting yourself. And right now, neither one of you can afford to be alone. You two need to do this together. Not on your own."

(Song Ends)

Jill / Sapphire:

Rooftop

Jill/Sapphire was at the location of robbery. She had rendered all of the men unconscious. She turned around, picking up her knives.

On the rooftop of the building behind her, Slade/Deathstroke was watching her.

Jill sensed she was being watched, turning around.

Slade was gone.

Jill walked toward the ladder, climbing up to the top of the building, walking along.

A Deadstroke mask with an arrow and a sword through either eye was hosted onto a post.

Jill looked around, but she was completely alone.

Day Three

Markovburg, Markovia

Morning - Fine Art Auction Building

Kira and Karma were dressed for the auction, speaking through comms.

"Viper has eyes on the target," Kira told them. Floyd was on the rooftop of the building next door, aiming his gun. "Light the torches."

"Deadshot is a go," Floyd told them.

Mark was sitting in a car outside. "Shrapnel's a go."

Ben was inside, wearing a suit. "Tiger's a go."

Karma took a drink of wine. "Cobra's a go."

John and Lyla were standing together.

Amanda was in the ARGUS facility. "This is Mockingbird. Harbinger, you have a green light."

Lyla walked away from John. "Freelancer, you're a go."

"Deadshot?" Karma asked.

"Got freelancer in my sights," Floyd answered, aiming at John.

"What's stopping you from shooting me right now?" John asked.

"Honor," Floyd answered.

John sighed, shaking his head.

Flashback

Day - Trail

The soldiers, John, Justin and Lyla were leading the women and Gholem Qadir down the trail.

"Can I trouble you for a cigarette, my friend?" Gholem asked.

"I don't smoke, and I'm not your friend," John told him.

"You know who I am?" Gholem asked. "What it is I do?"

"You're dealing drugs, weapons and children," Justin told him. "Play both sides of the conflict. Make money while your country burns."

"I do not have to be the only one," Gholem told them. "Let me go, I make you rich."

"You trying to bribe us, Qadir?" John asked skeptically. "If we wanted to make a buck, this is the last place we'd be, moron."

There was gunfire.

"Get down!" Justin told them.

John pushed Gholem into cover of a trench, saving his life, while everyone else ducked.

The soldiers, Lyla and Justin fired at the men firing at them.

Now

Day - Auction Building

John pulled out of his memory, turning around, bumping into a cleanly cut and suited Gholem Qadir. "Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was... Gholem Qadir."

'I don't know what is less likely," Gholem told him. "That John Diggle would be clumsy, of I would find him here, of all places." John smiled. "You like art, my friend?"

"I know a good investment when I see one," John told him.

"Out of the military, then?" Gholem asked.

John nodded. "And in a more lucrative line of work."

"What kind of work is that?" Gholem asked.

"The kind you don't get to ask about," John told him. "It's good seeing you, Gholem."

John turned away toward Ben, who seemed to be posing as his bodyguard.

"Everything all right here, Mr. Diggle?" Ben asked.

"Yes," John answered. "He's with me."

"So, the soldier now has his own security?" Gholem asked.

John turned to face him. "In my line of work, when I do a good job, I tend to make enemies."

"A good man turns bad," Gholem told him. He gestured to himself. "Bad man turns good. You changed my life, you know."

"Trust me, that was never my intention," John told him.

"The intelligence I provided your government, it saved many lives," Gholem told him. "Now as a free man, I give back when I can."

John was skeptical. "Of course." Floyd shot his gun, shooting Ben down, shooting at John and Gholem. John tackled Gholem to the floor. "Get down!" Everyone else ducked, screaming. John looked outside to see Floyd was already hiding, or gone. "It's all clear."

"Deja vu, my friend," Gholem told him.

A man ran toward them. "Mr. Qadir?"

"I am fine," Gholem told him. "I do not believe I was the target."

They stood, looking at a bullet hole in John's jacket.

Kira and Karma were watching them, smirking.

John looked around. "Like I said, when I do my job right, I tend to make enemies."

The man led Gholem away. "We should go."

"Good job, Deadshot," Karma told him. "You're a go for exfil."

Floyd was walking outside. "Already in motion." He saw that Mark was driving away. "Except, uh, I'm not the only one. Shrapnel just bolted."

"Find him," Kira told him.

"He's headed east," Floyd told them.

Kira sighed.

On the Road - Car

Mark was trying to make a getaway.

Amanda spoke to him through comms. "Shrapnel, stand down and return to the rally point."

"I won't be conscripted into our moral army," Mark told her.

Amanda was in the ARGUS facility, readying an app on the table. "Stand down. Final warning."

"Especially not while in a country without an extradition treaty," Mark told her.

"Very well," Amanda told him, hitting a button.

There was a high pitched shrieking in Mark's head. He held his head in agony, groaning.

Auction Building - Outside

Kira and Karma walked outside to join Floyd.

"What the hell's going on?" Kira asked.

"Shrapnel just fouled out of the game," Amanda told them.

Kira, Karma and Floyd saw that there was smoke rising from the car in the distance, realizing that Mark Scheffer / Shrapnel was dead.

➣➣

Apartment

Floyd, Kira, Karma, Ben and Lyla were going over new plans, eating. Lyla, Kira and Karma were in normal clothes.

John walked in. "What the hell was that?"

"We're going to want popcorn for this," Floyd told them.

"You said it yourself, John," Lyla told him. She gestured to Floyd and Ben. "They're murderers." John scoffed. "Criminals. They need an incentive to follow orders."

"So, you rigged their heads with explosives?" John asked incredulously.

"There's no danger as long as they play by the rules," Lyla told him. "Scheffer didn't."

"It's like I don't even know you anymore, Lyla," John told her. He looked at Kira and Karma. "What about you two? That the real reason you're playing along?"

"If you're asking if we have bombs in our heads, we don't," Kira told him. "We told you before. We're doing this to make amends."

"Sounds so tedious," Floyd told them. "Don't you just wanna cut loose?"

Karma picked up one of her blades, throwing it into the chair head behind Floyd, making him jump. "Like that?" Floyd laughed. Karma sighed. "Where are we at with Qadir?"

John pulled out his phone, tossing it down. "Save a man's life once, get a silver star. Save it twice? Rent a tux." He walked toward the door. "I'll await further instructions."

John walked out, leaving, slamming the door behind him.

Lyla picked up John's phone, checking the text from Gholem.

Please come to my Humanitarian Benefit. Details and instruction attached.

Starling City, Washington

Alexi's Autoshop - Outside

Jill walked up to Alexi's autoshop.

Alexi was waiting for her.

Jill sighed. "Your men are delicate."

"So is my patience," Alexi told her. He handed her a envelope. "This is Starling City bank account number for your Mr. Wilson." Jill reached out to take it. Alexi took it out of her reach. "To be clear... take this envelope, and we are through. I do not care who your friends are." He spoke in Russian. "Do we understand each other?"

Jill looked at him in annoyance, taking the envelope, turning around, walking away.

Alley

Jill walked down an alley toward where her motorcycle was waiting. She heard someone approaching, turning around.

Oliver walked closer. "Relax. It's just me. This is what you were talking about, that you were taking care of? The Bratva, Jill? Slade's getting in your head."

"I need this to stop," Jill told him. "We need this to stop. And I'm trying to stop it before something happens. And for it to stop, we need to find him."

"Yeah, and until then, how long do you think you can keep this up for?" Oliver asked. "You're not eating, you're barely sleeping. And when you do, you have nightmares." He hesitated for a moment. "They're about her, aren't they?" Jill looked down. Oliver put a hand on her cheek. "Hey. I think about what happened that night every day. But I don't regret saving you. What I regret is not being able to save Slade."

"There's no saving him now," Jill told him. "And we don't know how to stop him. So we're left with an impossible choice yet again. Which leaves us with impossible decisions."

Jill walked away toward her bike.

Warehouse

(Song:) Two Weeks - FKA Twigs

Skylar and Justin were training with wooden staffs. Skylar was in workout clothes, including a tank top. Justin was wearing a tank top. Justin swung his staff down to come at Skylar's head from above. Skylar raised her staff to block the move, swinging toward him Justin blocked the move, kicking Skylar's legs out from under her, making her fall onto the floor and lose her staff in the process.

Justin smiled. "Come on, talk to me."

Skylar flipped herself up onto her feet, overwhelmed, sighing. "What is there to talk about?"

Skylar picked up her staff.

"Maybe the fact that your brother and a girl who's been like a sister to you's old nemesis from the island is back, and he's the reason that you got injected with the Mirakuru," Justin answered. "You can't tell me that you're not angry."

Skylar swung her staff toward Justin.

Justin used his staff to block the move.

"Of course I'm angry," Skylar told him, swinging again. Justin blocked the move. "I just don't know what to do about it."

"I think I know what you want to do about it," Justin told her. "You want to kill him, don't you?"

"He came into my house and threatened my mother and sister," Skylar told him. "God knows what he did to Jill and Ollie. And he is the reason that I'm like this. Of course I want to kill him."

Justin swung his staff toward Skylar. Skylar used her staff to block the move.

"You told me that you wanted to be more than just a weapon," Justin told her. "That you wanted to be a hero, to save people, and not hurt them."

"Slade Wilson is not a person," Skylar told him. "He's a monster."

"A monster that can kill you," Justin told her. "I don't want you to get hurt by going after him."

Skylar was growing increasingly angry by talking about Slade and thinking about all of the things that he had done, swinging her staff toward Justin twice. Justin blocked both moves. Skylar was becoming angrier and angrier, not at him, but at everything else, swinging too hard and too fast for him to stop, hitting him in the head, making him fall.

Skylar saw that she had hurt him, coming back to herself quickly, dropping the staff quickly in surprise, covering her mouth with her hands in guilt. "Justin? I'm sorry." She walked closer instantly, kneeling next to him. "I didn't mean to."

Justin sat up, groaning in pain. "I'm fine. It's okay."

Skylar shook her head in guilt. "I'm so sorry."

"Hey, I'm okay," Justin told her.

Skylar helped Justin stand. She quickly became frustrated with herself, turning away. "I knew that this was going to happen." She picked up her staff. "I knew that I was going to hurt you. Just like I hurt Jill."

Skylar broke the staff in her hands with ease in an attempt to calm herself down.

Justin placed his hands on her shoulders to calm her down. "Hey. Hey, it's okay." Skylar turned to face him, breathing heavily. "Look, I know it's hard for you, but you're doing good, despite everything."

Skylar scoffed. "I really wish people would stop saying that. None of this is okay, and I'm not doing good. I'm barely hanging on by a thread. Roy is worse than me."

"Saying this as a guy that has seen what the Mirakuru did to three men that we know of by turning them into killers, you're both doing better than you think," Justin told her.

Justin took the broken pieces of the staffs from Skylar, tossing them to the floor nearby. They looked at each other for a moment intensely, starting to kiss sweetly and slowly at first, then more passionately and heatedly. Skylar pushed him to the wall, continuing to kiss him, pulling away to rip open his tank top. Justin lifted her tank top away to reveal her sports bra, letting it fall to the floor, holding his hands to her back to pull her closer into a kiss. Skylar wrapped her arms around his neck. They continued to kiss passionately, deeply and heatedly.

Day Four

Morning - Apartment

Floyd was wiring John. "Seeing as how you haven't brought it up, I'm guessing you haven't got very far with that HIVE lead I gave you."

"Just make this quick," John told him.

Floyd chuckled. "You're usually so chatty, John. These problems with your girl, they got you down, huh?"

"And what about your girl?" John asked. "The one you have a shrine to in that cell of yours?"

Floyd stood, turning away. "Zoe."

"Does your daughter know what you do for a living?" John asked.

"She is why I do what I do," Floyd told him.

"Really?" John asked.

"Yeah," Floyd answered.

"How many enemies can a little girl have?" John asked.

Floyd walked closer to hand him a tablet. "I wouldn't know. Everything I make beyond expenses goes in a blind trust."

John used the tablet to scan his fingerprint. "A girl needs her father."

"Nah, not this father," Floyd told him. "Best thing I can do for her life? Not be in it."

Lyla, Kira, Karma and Ben walked in.

"Is it ready?" Kira asked.

"We're almost there," Floyd told them, pulling out a cloth with a fingerprint. "You know, we went through all that trouble to get Johnny here invited to this little shindig. Seems like an awful waste not to use that invitation."

"We're using it," Karma told him. "Once you have hands on the nerve agent, pocket it, walk right on out. Kira and I will be your eyes and ears."

"Think of us as your bodyguards," Kira told him.

Floyd chuckled. "Copy that."

Night - Qadir Mansion - Foyer

The Humanitarian Benefit was in full swing.

Gholem looked at a couple. "Thank you very much. Your generosity is much appreciated."

Lyla and John walked in through the front door.

"That's not exactly army camo," John told her. "But have you given any thought to what would happen if Qadir recognizes you, anyway?"

Gholem walked closer. "Mr. Diggle." They shook hands. "Who is this vision?"

"His new bodyguard," Lyla told him.

Gholem smirked, looking at John. "Mm, you will have to refer me to your security company." John chuckled. "I'm glad you could come tonight. It's the least I could do after you saved my life. Again. I will see you, my friend."

Gholem started to walk away.

John turned after him. "Gholem. It would seem I didn't have time to get credentials for my associate."

"Come, this way," Gholem told them, leading them past Floyd, Kira and Karma.

The guard was scanning them for metal.

Karma showed him her keys. "Gosh, I'm so sorry. I forgot those were in there."

Karma used the fingerprint pad to scan themselves in.

"Enjoy the benefit," the guard told them.

They smiled, walking away.

Upstairs Hallway

Kira walked past a statue, putting down a tablet next to it, walking away. "Deadshot and his gear are in position."

"Tiger's got the overwatch," Karma told them.

"Harbinger to all, fire in the hole," Lyla told them.

John and Lyla walked away together.

Flashback

Day - Trial

The soldiers, Lyla and Justin fired at the men that were firing at them while the women, John and Gholem were taking cover.

"Shooter at my ten!" John told them.

Justin was shooting. "I got you covered! Bonding!"

John came out of cover to join the gunfire.

Gholem started to run.

Someone in a mask tried to shoot Gholem.

John shot the man before he could. "All clear!"

Gholem was no longer running, and the gunfire had ended.

John walked toward the man he had shot, kicking his gun away, pulling down the mask to see that he was really just a boy. "It's just a kid."

Now

Night - Qadir Mansion - Party

John and Lyla were talking with Gholem.

Kira and Karma were keeping an eye on them and everyone else.

A man stood next to Kira and Karma. "Don't you look lovely tonight?"

Karma smirked, placing a finger to her lips.

Kira rolled her eyes.

Gholem looked at John. "Oh, I think you owe your bodyguard a dance. I insist."

John and Lyla walked away to dance.

Floyd was walking downstairs. "Deadshot en route to package."

John scoffed. "The fate of the world resting in the hands of Floyd Lawton."

"It helps to focus on the mission," Lyla told him.

"Is that what you tell yourself?" John asked.

"I tell myself to see the world how it is, not how I want to see it," Lyla told him. "We both operate in the gray.  The only difference is, is I'm willing to admit it."

"That's not the only difference between us," John told her.

"That's true," Lyla told him. "I don't judge other people for it."

"Lyla, I'm the same man I've always been," John told her.

"And I'm who I've always been," Lyla told him. "You're rigid, John. You're blind to any viewpoint that isn't yours. These past few months have been amazing. But we've done more playing than talking."

"Because when we talk, we tend to get divorced," John told her.

They looked at each other sadly, sighing.

Starling City, Washington

Verdant - Foundry

Jill, Skylar, Justin and Felicity were talking.

Felicity walked toward Jill. "I got the address for that account number you gave me."

Felicity handed the address to Jill, picking up the phone.

"Even you know that you can't go out there by yourself without committing suicide," Justin told her. "So I'm calling Oliver, Sara, Amy and Roy."

"Leave Roy out of it," Jill told him. "Let him stay with Thea to keep an eye on her. Let the others know I'm on my way."

"Do I get to go with you this time?" Skylar asked.

"If you can listen," Jill answered. "Skylar, I know that you want Slade dead, but I need you to stay in control, because we might need your strength if we're going to run into him. You just have to keep calm."

Skylar nodded in agreement.

Markovburg, Markovia

Qadir Mansion - Basement

Floyd was wearing his eye piece and gun arm cuff, speaking through comms. "Deadshot's on target. Bingo."

Floyd walked toward the wall where he had heat signatures coming from behind it, opening the hidden door, walking inside.

Amy / Ruby:

Starling City, Washington

Building

Jill/Sapphire, Oliver/Arrow, Sara/Canary, Amy/Ruby and Skylar were scoping the address out, making sure it was clear.

Oliver saw something flash from further down the way, reaching back toward an arrow.

They walked toward the desk.

Alexi was sitting at the desk. He had an arrow and a knife through either of his eyes, dead.

Jill walked closer, turning the chair to face her, looking down.

"You know him?" Amy asked.

"Alexi," Jill told them. "Leader of the Bratva in Starling. I forced him to help me look for Slade. I guess Slade didn't like that."

Jill sighed at the thought of getting Alexi killed to find Slade, walking away.

There was a video playing on the wall. It was home videos of Shado. She was happy and smiling.

They all looked at the video.

Verdant - Foundry

Jill had returned to the foundry, still in her suit, working out anger and frustration at herself for everything that was going on and getting Alexi killed by taking it out on the dummy, hitting each peg in a blur of motion. She grabbed two of the pegs, leaning forward, breathing heavily.

Oliver walked closer from behind, still in his suit. "I don't know what to do." Jill turned to face him. "He's too far ahead. I mean, he spent years planning this, and he knows everything about me." He sighed. "I can't... I... I don't know how to stop him."

Jill walked closer. "I don't either. But how about we start by letting people help us?"

"But he's going to come after you," Oliver told her. "You're alive... because Shado isn't."

Jill took a deep breath, placing her hands on his neck. "Let him come. I'm not the girl he knew on the island. I'm not that easy to kill. We'll get him. Together."

Oliver nodded in agreement. "Together."

They embraced for a long moment.

Markovburg, Markovia

Qadir Mansion - Basement

Floyd walked through the hidden corridor, speaking through comms. "I'm in. I'll have the nerve agent in my pocket in 30 seconds." He walked into the next room to see a large system of the nerve agent. "Harbinger, Snakes... We've got what I would describe as a little bit of a situation here."

"Explain," Karma told him.

"Well, I got eyes on the nerve agent, and I'm not going to be able to move it, much less pocket it," Floyd told them.

"Stand by, Deadshot," Lyla told him. "I need to talk to Waller."

"Go for Mockingbird," Amanda told her.

"We have a situation," Lyla told him. "The package is much bigger than our preop briefing indicated."

Amanda was in the ARGUS facility. "Stand by. Deadshot's on target. I need to see what he does. Activate the camera in his eye piece."

A woman did as told. "Multi spectrum from Lawton's rig coming in... now." They saw the video pop up on the screen in front of them. "It's a match."

"Tiger, move for extraction," Amanda told him. "Deadshot, remain in position. Harbinger, Snakes, Freelancer, evac and head to the rally point."

"Deadshot still isn't topside with the package," Karma told her.

"I only needed eyes on," Amanda told them. "Fall back to the rally point."

"Wait," Kira told her. "You knew that the nerve agent was too large to be extracted?"

"Fall back to the rally point," Amanda told them. "Nine is inbound and hot. Mockingbird out."

"What the hell are nines?" John asked.

"MQ-9s," Lyla answered. "Predators. Waller's called in a drone strike. Everyone here is dead inside of ten minutes."

They looked around the party.

➣➣

Sky

The MQ-9 was flying through the sky on its way to the mansion.

Qadir Mansion - Party

John and Lyla were standing in the middle of the party, looking toward Kira and Karma at the edge of the party, talking through comms.

"The nines carry the hellfire missile," Lyla told them. "Just one of them can level this whole building."

"And your boss doesn't care who's here when it does," John told them. "We have to get these people out of here."

"Maybe there's a house alarm we can trigger," Karma told them.

"I have a better idea," Kira told them, picking up a glass, clinking it against a spoon. "Excuse me. Excuse me. Can I have your attention, please? In honor of our host. Gholem Qadir excels at everything he puts his mind to, be it business, philanthropy, or terrorism."

Everyone started to murmur.

"Yeah, I guess you could say Gholem is somewhat of a renaissance man," Karma told them. "He dabbles in a little bit of everything. Like arms trading. Did I mention the sex trafficking? Or the deadly nerve agent that he's holding just 30 feet beneath this very dance floor?"

Everyone murmured, heading for the door.

"These are lies," Gholem told them. "These women are mercenaries."

Four guards walked toward Kira and Karma.

Kira punched Man 1 in the face twice.

Man 2 tried to punch Karma. Karma ducked, kicking him in the leg, making him fall to his knees, punching him in the head, making him fall unconscious.

Man 3 tried to punch Kira. Kira raised her arm to block the move, kicking him in the stomach, making him fall to his knees, slamming his head against a table, making him fall unconscious.

Man 4 drew his gun, trying to shoot Karma. Karma ducked, grabbing his wrist, turning the gun to the ceiling, twisting it out of his hand, using the gun to hit him in the head, knocking him out, making him fall.

Man 1 tried to shoot Kira. Kira spun out of the way, kicking him in the face, making him fall to his knees, walking closer, punching him in the head, making him fall unconscious.

Karma spoke through comes. "Deadshot. He's not answering. We have to go help him. I can't believe I just said that."

Kira and Karma walked away.

Gholem aimed a gun at Lyla and John, looking at Lyla. "You! You were in Afghanistan six years ago." He looked at John. "You have been deceiving me from the start."

Ben came up from behind Gholem, slashing into his back with his metal claws, killing him, letting him fall.

"Good timing," Lyla told him.

"Got tired of waiting for my invitation," Ben told them.

They walked away.

Basement

Kira and Karma ran into the hidden room.

Floyd tsked his tongue. "Disobeying orders, Snakes. Behind you." He shot two men that were trying to attack Kira and Karma from behind with his arm cuff gun. "That's two you owe me, girls."

"We have to go," Kira told him.

"Waller told me to stay here," Floyd told them.

"There's an incoming drone strike," Kira told him.

Floyd scoffed. "How contemporary. Get the team clear."

Karma stepped closer.

Floyd aimed his gun at them.

Karma aimed a gun at Floyd. "You are on that team. And it's time for you to go."

"Yeah, that's right," Floyd told them. "It is time. And this is my way to go. Suicide Squad, remember? I'm expendable. Even got the damn bomb in my head to prove it. This way, at least I get to go out doing something honorable."

"You don't get to die that easy, Lawton," Kira told him.

"Really?" Floyd asked. "Why don't you give me even just one good reason why not, huh?"

"Zoe," Karma answered.

Floyd was frustrated, murmuring to himself, lowering his arm.

Karma lowered her gun.

"What about the nerve gas?" Floyd asked.

"Believe me, Waller's already got that covered," Karma told him.

They ran out, leaving.

Outside

The drone was still making way for the mansion.

Van

Kira, Karma and Floyd ran toward the van where Ben, Lyla and John were waiting, getting inside.

"Go, go, go, go, go, go, go!" Kira told them.

Ben started to drive them away.

The drone flew past the mansion, following the van.

Lyla checked her watch. "The drone shifted course. It's following us."

Floyd started to laugh.

"Do you find that funny?" John asked.

"The Wall," Floyd told them. "What a woman. "How do you think she knew where to send the drone, huh? And I mean, the precise coordinates."

"The implants," Kira realized.

"Bomb and GPS," Karma told them.

"Pretty clever, right?" Floyd asked. "The drone ain't targeting Gholem's house. It's targeting me." The drone flew closer. Karma picked up her blades, sitting next to Floyd. "Whoa, hold on. Do I get a say in this?"

"No," Karma answered.

"What are you doing?" John asked.

"Look, I think I'd rather get blown up," Floyd told them.

"Hold still," Karma told him. "This is going to hurt."

Karma started to cut the bomb out of the back of Floyd's neck.

The drone fired a missile toward the back of the van.

Karma threw the bomb out of the van to the ground outside.

The missile hit the bomb on the ground, setting off the explosion behind the van.

Everyone looked at each other in relief, getting a chance to catch their breaths.

Day Five

Morning - ARGUS Facility - Waller's Office

Amanda was standing at her desk.

John, Lyla, Kira and Karma were standing across from her.

"The Markovian government is threatening retaliation following an unprovoked drone attack over a no-fly zone," Amanda told them. "Just the attention we wanted to avoid. Well done."

"We're not the ones who sent that drone," Kira told her.

"It was cloaked," Amanda told them. "An explosion atop a chemical weapons cache is easy to explain. Instead, there were witnesses, and we had to send in a SEAL team to clean out the estate."

"I guess you'll think twice before dragging me in to do your dirty work, Waller," John told her.

"Somehow, I don't think it will be an issue," Amanda told him. "Good day, Mr. Diggle." John looked between the women, sighing, walking out, leaving. Amanda looked at Lyla, Kira and Karma. "Kind of uncanny. How Diggle knew exactly where Lawton's implant was. Still, it exposed an obvious design flaw. We'll be putting in the implants in their spinal vertebrae now. Agent Michaels, have Lawton and the others prepped for surgery." Lyla walked out, leaving. Kira and Karma turned to follow. "Snakes." The twins stopped. "If you continue to be apart of this squad, you follow orders. Or you will have implants along with the rest of them."

Kira and Karma rolled their eyes, walking out, leaving.

Cell Block

Kira and Karma were handling Floyd and Ben's preparation for the surgeries.

"Waller said in a few years, you might even get a pardon," Karma told them.

"Don't worry, Karma," Floyd told her. "We both know I'm not going to be around that long."

The agents guarding led Floyd and Ben into the next room, closing the door. Karma and Kira nodded to Floyd and Ben through the glass door. Floyd and Ben nodded in return, being taken away.

John walked toward Lyla. "You guys still employed?"

"People with my security clearance and the twins' abilities aren't that easy to get rid of," Lyla told him.

John nodded in amusement. "Right."

Lyla sighed. "What about us, Johnny?"

"Last night, two twins from the Triad that turned good and started working with ARGUS showed more character than the woman charged with protecting the world," John told her, taking a deep breath. "Good and bad is not so clear to me. One thing I do know for sure, black and white... is that I can't ever lose you again."

Lyla smiled. "Finally. Something we agree on."

Lyla and John started to kiss sweetly but passionately, pulling away, smiling.

Flashback

Night - Trails

Justin and John were watching Gholem be driven away.

"Well, there goes another terrorist-turned-ally," Justin told him. "By the way, I put you in for a commendation for saving Qadir's life." He patted John on the shoulder. "You owe me a beer."

 Justin walked away.

John was pensive, turning around.

Lyla walked toward John. "Congratulations."

"Yeah, well, kill a kid, get a medal, right?" John asked.

"When someone's shooting a Kalishnikov at you, he's not a kid," Lyla told him.

"I see things differently," John told her.

"It's a complicated world, Johnny," Lyla told him. "Is it okay if I call you Johnny?"

"I don't think I caught your first name, Michaels," John told her.

"Lyla," Lyla answered.

John shook her hand. "It's really good to meet you, Lyla."

They smiled.

Now

Starling City, Washington

Day - Verdant

Oliver was sitting at the bar in Verdant, watching the news on the TV behind the bar.

Woman: (on TV)"In international news, a united nations inspections team was called to a chemical weapons manufacturing facility hidden beneath the Markovian estate of humanitarian Gholem Qadir. Closer to home, mayoral candidate Moira Queen stumped for an initiative to revive inner city after school swim programs."

A video of Moira appeared on the screen with Skylar, Thea and Oliver in the background. "Oh, I remember how much my children enjoyed swimming when they were young. I couldn't get them out of the pool. I thought we needed--"

Oliver turned the TV off.

Jill walked closer. "I thought you hated swimming."

"I detest swimming," Oliver told her. Jill sat at the bar next to him. "So do Skylar and Thea. My mother sometimes..." Oliver cleared his throat. "Enjoys a casual relationship with the truth. Anyway." They looked at each other for a moment. Oliver took her hand in his. "Thank you for being there for me. And thank you for letting me be there for you."

Jill chuckled a little, sighing. "I'm gonna have to stop pushing people away."

"Yeah?" Oliver asked. "Good. 'Cause I need to, too."

They smiled small smiles, kissing slowly and sweetly for a moment, pulling away.

"I think we can start the journey of taking down Slade together by going to see an old friend," Jill told her. "But I wouldn't exactly all her a friend."

Oliver looked at her curiously.

ARGUS Facility - Hallway

Amanda was walking through a hallway full of unconscious guards, aiming her gun.

Office

Amanda walked into the office to see more bodies of unconscious guards. She saw Oliver/Arrow and Jill/Sapphire with their backs turned to her, putting her gun away. "Hello, Oliver. Hello, Jillian."

Jill turned to face her. She wasn't wearing her mask. "Hello, Amanda."

Oliver turned to face them, pulling back his hood.

"Still mad at me?" Amanda asked.

"Lucky for you, you've been pushed down that list," Oliver told her.

"Really?" Amanda asked. "Who do you want to kill more than me?"

"Slade Wilson is alive," Oliver told her.

Amanda looked at them in disbelief. "You killed him. It's not possible."

"Everything is possible where Slade is concerned," Jill told her. "And we need your help to find him."

Amanda considered for a moment, nodding. "I might have something."

"What?" Oliver asked.

"There's a new player we've been tracking," Amanda told them, walking toward the desk. "Mercenary. He's left a trail of bodies from Macau to Istanbul to Lisbon." She typed on her computer. "A trail that leads right here to Starling." She pulled up a picture of Slade in his uniform and mask. "We've been calling him Deathstroke."

Oliver and Jill looked at the picture of Deathstroke, knowing that this was Slade.
