From 1.23 "Sacrifice", in the warehouse, Oliver Queen was chained to the ceiling with his hands above his head, shirtless.

A guard splashed water over him with a bucket.

Oliver gasped and groaned in pain.

Oliver: (voice over) "Previously on Sapphire Arrow."

From 1.22 "Darkness on the Edge of Town", in Malcolm's office, Oliver/Arrow tried to shoot Malcolm Merlyn in the heart with the arrow.

Malcolm easily caught the arrow before it pierced his chest. He threw the arrow toward Oliver. Oliver ducked, making the arrow hit the glass behind him and shatter it.

Malcolm: (voice over from 1.23 Sacrifice) "If I only knew how you and Jillian Wright were spending your nights."

From 1.03 "Lone Gunmen", in the autoshop, Man 2 walked closer, aiming a gun at Jill Wright. Jill twisted his arm before he could shoot, making him groan in pain and fall to his knees, pulling the gun out of his hand, unloading it, letting the bullets fall.

From 1.16 "Dead to Rights", in the hallway of Merlyn Global Group, there were flashes of Jill/Sapphire fighting against Kira and Karma Mahageni, twins that rejected the Triad.

From 1.16 "Dead to Rights", in Malcolm's office, Tommy Merlyn had his gun aimed at Oliver/Arrow.

"Why should I trust you?" Tommy asked. Oliver pulled back his hood to show his best friend who he really was. Tommy looked at him in shock. "Oliver."

From 1.22 "Darkness on the Edge of Town", in Tommy's office, Oliver and Tommy were talking.

"I thought it was past time we talked," Oliver told him.

"About what?" Tommy asked. "You being a serial killer?"

From 1.22 "Darkness on the Edge of Town", in Oliver's room, Jill and Oliver were talking.

"What are you trying to say?" Jill asked.

"That... you know me better than anyone," Oliver answered. "And that you... are more important to me than anyone."

Jill shook her head, pulling Oliver into a kiss. They continued to kiss slowly at first, building up passionately and hungrily. Jill started to unbutton his shirt. Oliver pulled it off. He lifted her so her legs wrapped around his waist.

Oliver: (voice over from 1.22 Darkness on the Edge of Town) "I just hope I didn't wait too long to say it."

Jill wrapped her arms around his neck, continuing to kiss him. Oliver carried Jill to his bed, lying her down, pulling her shirt over her head. They looked at each other for a long moment, smiling small smiles, breathing heavily, continuing to kiss.

Jill: (voice over from 1.22 Darkness on the Edge of Town) "You didn't wait too long. You're right on time."

From 1.23 "Sacrifice", in the hideout, Oliver, Jill, Justin and Felicity Smoak, and John Diggle were watching the news.

Moira: (on news) "My name's Moira Dearden Queen, the CEO of Queen Consolidated."

From 1.23 "Sacrifice", in the living room of the Queen Mansion, Moira was holding a press conference while Thea Queen watched. "I have been complicit in an Undertaking with one horrible purpose. To destroy the Glades and everyone in it."

Everyone was in shock.

From 1.23 "Sacrifice", in the CNRI Office, Skylar Queen and Laurel Lance were watching the news along with everyone in the office, in shock.

Skylar was disconcerted with her mother.

Moira: (on TV) "But you need to know..."

From 1.23 "Sacrifice", in Malcolm's office, Tommy and Malcolm were watching the news on a laptop that was on the desk.

Moira: (on news) "That the architect of this nightmare... is Malcolm Merlyn."

From 1.23 "Sacrifice", the Glades started to shake and rumble.

There were flashes of Skylar taking on the men that had tried to corner her on the street, Justin, John and Jessica Lance stopping the first earthquake device, and the fight between Oliver/Arrow, Jill/Sapphire and Malcolm/The Dark Archer.

Malcolm: (voice over from 1.23 Sacrifice) "You can't beat me, Oliver. 'Cause you don't know in your heart what you're fighting for."

From 1.23 "Sacrifice", on the rooftop of Merlyn Global Group, the fight between Oliver/Arrow, Jill/Sapphire and Malcolm/The Dark Archer continued.

Tommy was watching.

Malcolm stabbed the sword into Jill's stomach.

Oliver grew angry and horrified. "No!"

"Dad!" Tommy told him.

Jill gasped in pain, breathing heavily, coughing up blood, trying to pull the sword out of her stomach.

"Don't struggle," Malcolm told her. Oliver aimed his bow and arrow at Malcolm. Malcolm walked around to stand behind Jill, lifting her up to her feet to hold her life as leverage against Oliver. "There was never any doubt in the outcome. Don't worry. You'll be reunited with your family in death."

Jill grew furious, driving the sword deeper into her stomach out through her back to stab Malcolm in the stomach, making him let go of her and fall to the ground. She fell to her knees weakly.

Oliver walked closer to Malcolm angrily. "Thank you for teaching me what I'm fighting for. But my father taught me how."

Oliver hit Malcolm in the head with his bow, making him fall.

Tommy was in shock.

From 1.23 "Sacrifice", in Merlyn Global Group, Tommy and Oliver/Arrow helped Jill/Sapphire inside to get them to the ground outside.

The building was falling apart around them.

Tommy saw rubble falling toward them, pushing them out of the way.

The debris fell onto Tommy, making him fall, pinning him down.

Oliver crawled closer, starting to pull the rubble away. "Tommy. You're going to be fine."

"Another thing... we got to disagree on," Tommy told them.

Jill started to pull the debris away.

A pipe had been stabbed into Tommy's chest.

Oliver and Jill were horrified.

"Tommy..." Oliver trailed off.

"I'm gonna die," Tommy told them.

Tommy drifted off.

"No," Jill told him.

"No!" Oliver told him. Jill put her hand over her mouth in horror, tears in her eyes. Tommy died in front of them. "Tommy."

The building continued to shake and come down around them.

"Oliver," Jill told him. Oliver stood, backing away toward Jill. Debris continued to fall, nearly hitting Oliver. "Ollie!"

Oliver ducked out of the way, making the debris hit the wall. He picked Jill off the ground, carrying her out into the destroyed Glades.

Day One

Morning - Lian Yu - Woods

Oliver was running through the woods, shirtless. He heard an airplane droning in the distance, looking up through the trees to see the airplane flying closer. He narrowed his eyes, continuing to run.

➣

Plane

Jill was flying the plane toward the island.

Justin, John and Felicity were on the plane with her.

Felicity was terrified.

"Felicity, if you're so scared, why did you insist on sitting up front?" Justin asked.

"It was the only seat with a seatbelt," Felicity answered.

"Which will come in handy when we hit the water at 180 miles an hour," John told her.

"What?" Felicity asked.

"He's joking," Jill told her.

Felicity nodded. "Oh."

"We're here," Jill told them. They looked at the island. "Lian Yu."

Jill flew the plane down to the island, landing.

➣

Lian Yu - Beach

Felicity, Justin, John and Jill stepped off the plane.

Felicity was vomiting on the beach.

"Thanks for waiting until we touched down," Justin told her.

Felicity coughed. "My pleasure."

"Let's move," Jill told them.

They walked past a stick in the ground that had Deathstroke's mask and an arrow through the eye.

➣

Woods

Jill led them through the woods. She heard something in the distance, coming to a stop, making them stop. "Shh."

"What is it?" John asked.

"Thought I heard something," Jill answered.

They continued to walk.

Felicity stepped onto a landmine. "Jill."

Jill turned back. "Don't move."

Jill knelt down to look.

"Landmines?" Justin asked. "Seriously? Can't you disarm it?"

"No," Jill answered, reaching into her bag to pull out a crossbow with a clamp. "Justin, Diggle, back away. Felicity, don't move."

Justin and John backed away.

Jill shot the crossbow clamp into a tree above, running toward Felicity, grabbing her off the landmine, letting them swing above the ground away from the explosion. She let them both down.

Oliver walked closer. "It wasn't hard to find you with you causing a mess not even ten minutes here."

Jill let go of the crossbow, letting it swing. "Well, you're hard to find."

Oliver sighed, shaking his head. "You shouldn't have come here."

Lian Yu - Fuselage

Oliver and Jill led Justin, John and Felicity into the plane hideout on the island.

John looked at Oliver. "Would have emailed, but this isn't exactly a WiFi hotspot."

"Is this where you lived when you were here?" Justin asked. "I mean, the--the first time you were here."

"For some of it," Jill answered.

Felicity looked at Oliver. "Could you at least pretend you're glad to see us? We spent weeks tracking you down. We've traveled halfway across the world. This morning, we flew in a plane so old I'm pretty sure I was safer when we got here. You could... at least offer us a water. Or... coconut."

Oliver walked toward a trunk, taking out water, walking toward them. "I'm fresh out of coconuts." He handed the water to Jill. "I am happy to see you. But I know why you're here. I'm not coming back to Starling City. I can't. My mission, my father's list, it was a fool's crusade. And I failed. Malcolm Merlyn destroyed the Glades. Tommy died. And the vigilantes couldn't stop it. So don't ask me to put my hood on again. Ever."

"This isn't about you being the hood," Justin told him. "This is about you being Oliver Queen. Your mother's in prison, Oliver. Her trial's coming up. Thea and Skylar are out on her own. Your family needs you."

"So does the family business," John told him. "All the bad press after the Undertaking left Queen Consolidated ripe for a hostile takeover by Stellmoor International. They've gutted every company they've taken over." Oliver turned to face them. "Once they gobble up Queen Consolidated, 30,000 employees are gonna be out of a job."

Felicity raised her hand. "Including one very blonde IT expert."

"Listen, I get why you had to leave, Oliver, better than anybody else," Jill told him. "I've been there. And after what happened, nobody can blame you for leaving. But it's time to come home."

➣

Flashback

Day - Lian Yu - Fuselage

Oliver and Slade Wilson were training in the plane hideout with bamboo staffs. Oliver tried to hit him. Slade used his staffs to block the move. They exchanged many blows that were blocked or thwarted.

Slade was obviously pleased with his progress, smiling, chuckling.

Oliver smiled.

Shado and Jill walked in, carrying knives and a sword, having just come from training outside.

Oliver looked at Jill.

Slade used his staff to hit Oliver in the face, making him fall. "You're not the first man to learn the hard way women are a distraction."

Slade walked away.

Jill walked toward Oliver, offering her hand.

Oliver took her hand, letting her help him up.

"You've come very far in a few months," Shado told them. "Don't beat yourselves up."

"Ah, apparently, that's his job," Oliver told them.

"And I love my job," Slade told them. "Not that I wouldn't trade it to escape."

"While you were playing with each other, we were hunting," Jill told them.

"There's nothing more attractive than women who can hunt," Slade told them.

"When I was marooned here, my first meal was a pheasant," Oliver told them. He looked at Shado. "Your father cooked it for me."

Shado chuckled. "He was an awful cook."

Oliver nodded in agreement. "Yeah."

"But a great father," Shado told them.

"We're looking at the proof," Slade told her. "Let's eat."

They heard something beeping.

"What's that?" Jill asked.

"That's Fyers' proximity detector," Slade answered.

Shado picked up the detector. "We salvaged it from the wreckage of the soldiers' camp. Picks up anything moving outside our safe zone. It's been five months since we stopped Fyers. He and all of his men were dead."

"So maybe it's an animal," Oliver told them.

"There's an imaging interface," Shado told them, opening the image to see three figures.

"Those are not animals," Jill told them.

"We're not alone on this island," Slade told them.

They looked at each other.

Now

Starling City, Washington

Day - The Glades

A limo was driving through the destroyed Glades that people were trying to salvage.

➣

Limo

John was driving.

Justin was in the passenger seat.

Felicity was sitting on one side of the limo in the backseat.

Oliver and Jill were sitting on the other side.

They were watching everything outside.

Oliver noticed a sign saying 'Vote for Blood now'. "Who's Blood?"

"An alderman from the Glades trying to save the city," John answered. "Fill your shoes."

Felicity showed them a tablet. "Here's everything on Stellmoor International." Oliver took the tablet to look. "The vice president of acquisitions is a woman named Isabel Rochev. She looks angry in every photo."

"So where to?" Jill asked. "Office?"

"Home," Oliver answered. "I want to check in on Skylar and Thea."

"Uh, they're not at your house, Oliver," Justin told him.

"Where are they?" Oliver asked.

Jill sighed, looking at Oliver.

Verdant - Office

(Song:) Purple, Yellow, Red and Blue - Portugal the Man

Thea and Roy were making out heavily.

Thea sat back on the desk behind her, pulling Roy closer, pulling off her jacket, tossing it down, pulling away after a moment. "I only have a second."

"Skylar's working the club," Roy told her. "She can handle it."

Thea started to pull up his shirt, seeing bruises over his skin. "You have got to be kidding me."

Thea pushed Roy away, standing, walking toward the door.

"Come on," Roy told her. "I don't wanna fight."

"Clearly, you do," Thea told him. "Since you keep taking on every street corner drug dealer you can get your fists on."

"It's not like that," Roy told her. "The Glades are worse than ever."

"I know, but you and my sister already saved a busload of people and managed not to get buried alive," Thea told him. "I mean, how much more of a hero would you two need to be? It's like you have a death wish. And guess what? It's going to come true."

➣

Main Room

Skylar was stocking the main bar, listening to the music playing during closing time, swaying slightly to the beat.

Justin walked in. "There she is." Skylar looked up. "Hero of the Queen family."

Skylar smiled, walking closer. "Well, someone has to do something. And stand up for what's right. Like they do."

"The vigilantes," Justin told her.

Skylar shrugged. "I would rather think of them as guardian angels."

"I think that fits your description better," Justin told her. "You saved a child from an assassin and dozens of people from a bus and car wreck. You're just trying to be a hero."

Skylar smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Don't forget who taught me how to fight. I'm just finding a good way to use it."

Justin chuckled. They kissed slowly and sweetly, pulling away.

Justin turned toward the stairs, calling out. "Hey, Thea! Get down here!"

Justin turned the music off.

(Song Ends)

Skylar looked at Justin in confusion. "What are you doing? Where were you?"

Jill walked in. "We were bringing back someone for you and our family." Thea and Roy walked downstairs. "Look who's back."

Oliver walked in. "I'm here."

Skylar laughed in relief. "Ollie!"

Oliver and Skylar embraced tightly, pulling way.

Oliver and Thea embraced, pulling away.

Thea looked from Oliver to Jill, gesturing to Roy. "Uh, you remember my friend Roy?"

"Still here?" Jill asked.

"Always," Roy answered.

Oliver and Roy shook hands.

"So how was Europe?" Skylar asked. "You never texted, no postcards. Almost like you were on the island all over again."

Oliver, Jill and Justin exchanged a look at the irony of that sentence.

"Yeah, sorry, I was kind of distracted with snow skiing, water skiing," Oliver told them. "A lot of skiing."

"I told him about how that our club is under new management," Jill told them. "That it is your club now."

"Yeah, and you're not getting it back," Thea told them.

"Neither of you are old enough to drink," Oliver told them.

"But we are old enough to run a bar," Thea told them.

"Have you made it to Iron Heights?" Oliver asked.

"To visit the woman who dropped a city on 500 innocent people?" Thea asked. "Skylar has gone. I haven't."

Skylar gave her a look. "Thea. That's not what Mom did."

Thea nodded sarcastically. "Right. She had no choice. But guess what? She did. A choice not to be a mass murderer. And I have a choice, too. So, I choose not to be her daughter."

Thea walked away, leaving.

The others sighed.

Skylar looked at Oliver. "I am so happy you are home. Look, we need to deal with our liquor distributor who shorted me on yesterday's delivery. And one of our bartenders called in sick, so..." Jill smirked in amusement. "What?"

Jill shook her head. "Nothing. It's just... it's nice to see you like this."

"Like what?" Skylar asked.

"Together," Jill answered. "More so than you already were before the earthquake."

"Well, CNRI got destroyed in the quake, so I can't work there as an intern anymore," Skylar told them. "I need another way to spend my night and days."

Skylar walked away, leaving.

Justin and Jill walked away toward the basement, walking downstairs.

Oliver heard the TV on behind him, turning to see the news.

Woman: (on TV) "A representative from Central City says construction on the STAR Labs particle accelerator should be completed by Christmas. And in local news, billionaire Oliver Queen has returned once again to Starling City. With his mother's upcoming trial and his father's company in free fall, analysts are asking what the Queen family scion has planned next."

➣

Night - Gala

A man by the name Adam Donner was talking to Mayor Altman at the gala.

"Wasn't our country founded on a brand of vigilantism, Mr. Donner?" Altman asked. "The revolutionaries in the Boston Tea Party were certainly choosing justice over law."

"I'd hardly compare our founding fathers to the vigilantes, Mr. Mayor," Adam told him. "Or these twisted copycats who have risen in their wake."

Altman looked behind him. "Miss Lance." Laurel walked down the stairs toward them in a pretty pink gown. "What do you think about vigilantes?"

"I'd be foolish to disagree with my new boss," Laurel told them.

"I knew I was smart to hire you," Adam told her.

"I'd heard you joined the District Attorney's office," Altman told her.

Laurel nodded. "It was time for a change."

"Still, I'm sorry that you and your colleagues at CNRI won't be opening your doors again," Altman told her.

"There were no doors left to be reopened," Laurel told them.

Man: (over speakers) "Ladies and gentlemen..."

Altman looked at Adam and Laurel. "They're playing my song." He walked onto the stage. There was applause. Altman spoke through a mic. "Good evening. It has been a very difficult year for Starling City. Our losses have been incalculable. Our grief unimaginable. But with the generous donations you people are making tonight, we will come back from this tragedy."

A man called from the back. "You have failed this city, Mr. Mayor! The Glades descended into hell on your watch. You swore to protect all the citizens of Starling. Not just the wealthy!"

Everyone was looking around for the source of the voice.

"I am very sorry about this, folks," Altman told them. "We'll have this sorted out in just a minute."

There was gunfire, people shooting Mayor Altman in the chest, killing him, making him fall.

Everyone started to scream.

Men in blue hoods that looked like suits combined from Sapphire's suit and Arrow's suit, using assault rifles instead of bows and arrows or knives and swords.

Everyone ducked for cover.

The Blue Hoods killed several guards that tried to fire back.

Blue Hood 1 walked toward Adam. "Mr. District Attorney."

Laurel punched Blue Hood 1 in the face, elbowing him in the face with enough strength to make him fall down the steps behind him, having taken his gun from him.

Blue Hood 2 aimed a gun at Laurel.

Laurel turned to face him.

Blue Hood 2 gestured with his gun for Laurel to kneel.

Laurel knelt down to the floor.

Blue Hood 2 took the gun from Laurel. "We are the Blue Hoods. And what was taken from us, we will take back."

The Blue Hoods walked away, leaving.

Laurel was breathing heavily in relief that they didn't kill anyone else.

➣ ➣

Now, the place was a crime scene, and the Starling City Police Department were taking away the bodies.

Quentin Lance and Jessica Lance walked down the stairs toward his daughter and her sister.

"Laurel," Lance told her.

"Dad, I'm fine," Laurel told him.

Lance and Laurel embraced, pulling away.

Jessica pulled Laurel into her arms, holding her for a moment, pulling away.

Adam walked closer, looking at Lance. "You've got one very brave daughter there, sir."

"Yeah," Lance agreed. "I have two daughters. I used to have three. I can't stand to lose another."

"I still can't believe this happened," Adam told them. "The Blue Hoods attacks have strictly been limited to people in the financial sector trying to redistribute wealth in the Glades at gunpoint."

"Yeah, well, clearly, that's not getting the result they're looking for, is it?" Jessica asked. Lance, Jessica and Laurel walked away from Adam. Jessica looked at Laurel. "Did you get a good look at them?"

"It was hard to focus on anything other than the gun barrel pointed at my face," Laurel told them.

"No tattoos, distinguishing marks?" Jessica asked.

Lt. Frank Pike walked closer, looking at Jessica. "What do you think you're doing? Interviewing the witness is the job of the Detective, Officer Lance."

Jessica looked at him incredulously. "This is my sister. She was nearly killed tonight."

"As a sister, you're welcome to stay," Pike told her. "But as a beat cop, you're more than free to go."

Laurel looked at him incredulously.

Pike walked away, leaving.

Jessica sighed. "That's the downside of being demoted. I don't get to witness his sunny disposition on a daily basis."

Oliver walked down the stairs toward them.

"Dad, Jess, give me a sec," Laurel told them.

Jessica nodded. "Yeah."

Laurel walked toward Oliver. "I didn't know you were back in town."

"I just got back a little while ago," Oliver told her. "And I was going to call, but then I... saw you on TV, so I thought that I would come and make sure you were safe."

Laurel nodded. "Just four hooded gunmen." Oliver sighed. "Nothing a few self-defense classes couldn't handle."

Oliver nodded. "I'm glad you're okay."

Laurel nodded. "Thank you."

➣

Outside

Oliver and Jill were talking outside of the latest building where the attack was.

"Jill, I don't like being played," Oliver told her.

"I'm not sure what you mean," Jill told him.

"That's why you came to the island and brought me back to Starling City," Oliver told her. "These Blue Hoods."

Jill turned to face him. "I've had a run in with them before. Gotten quite a few of them arrested. But more just keep seeming to pop up. I can handle this on my own, Oliver. I didn't bring you back here because of the copycats. I brought you back because your family needed you. You might be done being the hood, but this town still needs a vigilante. And not killers like these copycats. I mean like the girl in blue and the hood. You can go home, Oliver. You can do whatever you want. But I'm going to find a way to stop these guys, with or without your help."

Jill turned around, walking away.

Oliver looked as if he wanted to stop her, but couldn't find the words to say, exhaling in frustration.

➣

Warehouse

The Blue Hoods were meeting up, watching the news.

There was footage of Jill and Oliver talking outside of the building by their car.

Woman: (on TV) "And in local news, billionaire Oliver Queen has returned once again to Starling City. He and Jillian Wright had made their appearance to the city last year after returning from an island in the North China Sea..."

"Unbelievable," Blue Hood 1, Aglin, told them. "He off the mayor on live TV, and what's the local news keep showing? Oliver Queen and Jill Wright. Why?"

"Guess he's taking over the family business," Blue Hood 2, Baker, told them.

"We've been going about this wrong," Aglin told them.

"What do you mean?" Blue Hood 3, Colton, asked.

"If we want real payback, we gotta take the fight to the name that did this to us," Aglin told them.

"Queen?" Colton asked.

"Yeah," Aglin answered.

"He's just some useless brat," Blue Hood 4, Deveau, told them.

Aglin chuckled bitterly. "The applied sciences division of Queen Consolidated built the earthquake generator. If we want real justice, then that family has to pay for the suffering it's caused us. In full."

Day Two

Morning - Verdant

Thea and Skylar were both dressed for the nightclub party, getting ready for opening that night.

Skylar was setting up the bar.

Thea walked past her.

"Hello, earth to Thea," Skylar told her. "What, did you drop a Vertigo when I wasn't looking?"

Thea chuckled sarcastically, shaking her head. "Just distracted."

"About what Ollie said, about Mom?" Skylar asked.

They walked up to the DJ station to set things up.

Thea sighed. "Well... don't keep me in suspense, Skylar. What's your take on the matter?"

Skylar sighed. "Well, our dad is gone, Thea. And we're never going to see him again. I'd... be glad to see him and talk to him if I could. But... look, Mom's not going to last long in prison without someone to hold onto. Now, I've been to see her, and she wants to see you so, so bad."

"I'm sure she's dying to," Thea told her. "It's like a lot of mothers in the Glades who won't ever get to see their kids again... because our mother helped kill them." Skylar sighed, looking down. "I'm not going to that prison. It's the only way I know how to hurt her."

Thea turned around.

"You might want to consider how much it's hurting you," Skylar told her.

Thea stopped walking, looking at Skylar for a moment, walking away.

 ➣

Queen Consolidated - Elevator Bank

Oliver, Justin and John walked out of the elevator, through the elevator bank toward the main office.

➣

CEO Office

Felicity opened the door for the boys, letting them inside. "They're in the conference room. Just FYI, no one is eating the bagels."

➣

Conference Room

The board was sitting at the table.

Oliver, Justin, John and Felicity walked in.

Isabel Rochev stood from the table, walking toward them, offering her hand to Oliver. "Isabel Rochev."

Oliver shook her hand. "Oliver Queen. Sorry I'm late."

"For this meeting?" Isabel asked. "Or career in business?"

"I didn't realize hostile takeovers were filled with so much hostility," Oliver told her sarcastically, taking a seat.

"Not at all," Isabel told him. "I'm actually in quite a good mood."

Isabel took her seat.

"Really?" Oliver asked. "So destroying companies agrees with you?"

"Winning agrees with me," Isabel answered.

"You haven't won yet," Oliver told her.

Isabel smirked barely. "Since you majored in dropping out of college, let me put this in terms that are easy to understand. You control 45% of Queen Consolidated stock. I control 45%, leaving 10% outstanding. But in two days, the board will release the final ten percent."

"And I'll buy it before you do," Oliver told her.

"With what money?" Isabel asked. "I doubt your trust fund is that large, and no angel investor will go near the company that build the machine that destroyed half the city." Oliver sighed in frustration. "Companies rise and fall, Mr. Queen. Your company has fallen."

Oliver looked at her expressionlessly in annoyance.

➣

Elevator Bank

A guard walked toward the elevators.

The doors dinged open.

The Blue Hoods walked out of the elevators, taking down the guard.

➣

Jill/Sapphire:

Conference Room

The Blue Hoods walked into the conference room. "Oliver Queen!" Everyone at the table, Oliver, Isabel, Justin, Felicity and John, stood. "You have failed this city!"

Jill/Sapphire jumped in through the window, shattering it, making everyone jump and turn to face her. Jill looked at the Blue Hoods. "I believe you're the ones who have." She looked at the others. "Get down!"

The Blue Hoods started to fire.

Everyone ducked.

Jill drew her swords, slashing the guns out of the hands of two of the Blue Hoods, spinning around to slash the gun out of the hands of another.

John and Justin fired at the Blue Hoods.

More Blue Hoods walked in, firing at everyone, including Jill.

Jill spun to kick Blue Hood 1, making him fall, hitting Blue Hood 2 in the head with the hilt of her sword, making him fall unconscious.

Blue Hoods started to come after Oliver from the other side of the room.

Jill jumped up onto the table, running across the tabletop toward the Blue Hoods on the other side, front flipping off the table to kick two in the head, making them fall, landing in a crouch on the floor, looking up.

John and Justin continued to fire at the Blue Hoods as they continued to fire.

Oliver was shot in the side, groaning in pain.

Jill stood, running toward Oliver, grabbing him from the floor, picking him up, grabbing onto a chain in the wall, kicking out of the window, allowing them both to swing down to the floor below, kicking through the windows, making them shatter. They both fell to the floor on their stomachs. Jill looked at Oliver to make sure that he was okay. Oliver nodded. They looked at each other, breathing heavily.

➣ ➣

Conference Room

The place was a crime scene.

Oliver walked in. "Miss Rochev. I'm sorry about this."

"Because they were after you?" Isabel asked.

"Because what happens in this building is my responsibility," Oliver answered.

"Only for the next 48 hours," Isabel told him.

Oliver walked away.

➣

Elevator Bank

Justin saw Jessica in a police officer's uniform instead of her usual detective attire, walking closer. "I still can't get used to you in that uniform, Detective Jessica Lance."

Jessica turned to face him, sighing. "It's officer now. And I'm just glad it still fits. They hurt you?"

Justin shook his head. "Thanks. I'm okay."

"You, uh, heard anything from our mutual friends lately?" Jessica asked.

"From the girl, yeah," Justin answered. "She's obviously working the case."

Jessica nodded sarcastically. "Yeah." She gestured to the windows that Jill had broken in the rescue mission. "I can tell."

"But the hood... is out of commission at the moment," Justin told her.

Jessica sighed.

➣

CEO Office

Jill was in normal clothes, waiting in Oliver's office.

Oliver, Justin, Felicity and John walked in.

"You okay?" Jill asked.

"Yeah," Oliver answered.

Felicity looked at Oliver. "You could've helped Jill stop those guys."

"Not without giving Isabel Rochev and the Blue Hoods a pretty good idea of what I'm capable of," Oliver told them.

"I think what Felicity's wondering is whether you avoided taking those Hoods on," John told him. "And Oliver, she's not the only one wondering."

"I told you I didn't come back to Starling City to be the hood," Oliver told them.

"But they came after you, Oliver," Justin told him. "You could've taken them out."

"No, I couldn't, Justin," Oliver told him. "Look, there's a part of being a vigilante and neither one of you are considering." He looked at Jill. "Jill gets it. That's why she's not saying anything. The body count."

"And excuse me for saying this, but so what?" Felicity asked. "Since when do you care?"

"Since Tommy," Jill answered.

Oliver nodded. "After he found out my secret, you know what Tommy called me? A murderer. He was right. My best friend died thinking that I was a murderer. And anyone that I kill... dishonors his memory."

"So don't," Jill told him. "It's not like you've killed every guy you've faced. Oliver, I face as many guys as you have, and the only life I've taken in years was the doctor that tried to kill me with Vertigo. You don't have to take a life to be a vigilante. And you certainly don't have to to be a hero." Oliver didn't answer, looking down sadly, walking toward the door. Jill sighed. "Where are you going now?"

"You four won't help me save my family's company," Oliver told them. "I'm gonna talk to somebody who will."

Oliver walked out, leaving.

Flashback

Day - Lian Yu - Woods

Slade, Shado, Oliver and Jill were walking through the woods.

Slade was holding the detector. "Well, someone's definitely out there. They're moving closer." Shado started to walk in a different direction. "Where do you think you're going?"

"Flanking position," Shado answered. "If they get the drop on you, you'll want some backup."

Shado walked away, leaving.

They heard a gunshot.

"Shado!" Jill called.

They ran in the direction Shado had gone in, only finding her father's hood on the ground and no Shado.

Oliver picked the hood up.

They ran in search for Shado.

Day - Iron Heights Prison

Oliver was sitting in a room at a table.

Moira was let into the room, in her jail attire with her hair pulled back into a ponytail.

Oliver managed a small smile at the sight of her.

Moira walked closer.

"Hey," Oliver told her.

"Hey," Moira told her, sitting down across from him.

"I'm sorry I didn't make it here sooner," Oliver told her.

Moira shook her head. "No, no, no. Please, Oliver. There are gonna be enough apologies with me apologizing to you for the rest of my life."

"You don't have to," Oliver told her. "You saved hundreds of lives."

"And killed hundreds more," Moira told him. She looked down sadly. "Including Tommy."

"That was Malcolm," Oliver told her.

Moira nodded. "That's what Skylar said, too. Thea doesn't see it that way. And, my attorney is thrilled. If my own daughter can't forgive me, she's not too optimistic about twelve strangers in a jury box." They sighed worriedly. Moira shook it off. "All right, enough of that. How has it been going at Queen Consolidated?" Oliver looked at her in surprise. "Yes, we--we do get the news in here, Oliver."

Oliver managed a smile. "Right."

"You know, if I'd known the key to you taking your rightful place at the company was its demise, I would have declared bankruptcy a year ago," Moira told him.

Oliver sighed. "I don't know if I'll get to run it for long. Stellmoor. Their VP is coming after us hard."

Moira nodded knowingly. "Isabel Rochev."

"Yes," Oliver answered.

"Do not trust that woman, Oliver," Moira told him. "She is dangerous."

"Well, Mom, everywhere I look, there are no good options," Oliver told her. "I don't know what to do."

"You don't have to do it yourself," Moira told him. "This is a family business."

Oliver chuckled. "I love Skylar and Thea. I don't think they want anything to do with it."

"I'm sure that Skylar would want a place in her father's business when she's old enough to, Oliver," Moira told him. "But I wasn't talking about your sisters."

Oliver realized that she had been talking about Walter Steele, his ex-stepfather.

Night - Verdant

(Song:) Come to Me - Walking Def

The club was raging on.

Skylar was in the crowd, serving shots, smiling and mingling with the guests. She walked toward Thea at the bar. "Table seven needs bottle service, and I need a round of martinis on the three top. You go see Mom yet?"

Thea sighed. "I thought about what you said."

"And?" Skylar asked.

"And... I'll go see her when you stop going out at night to clean up the streets and stop trying to be a hero," Thea told her.

Skylar frowned, shaking her head in confusion. "What's one thing gotta do with the other?"

"I guess they're both things that are never gonna happen," Thea told her, walking away.

Skylar rolled her eyes.

Blue Hoods were walking into the club, starting to shoot up the place.

Everyone screamed and ducked for cover.

(Song Ends)

Blue Hood 1 looked around. "We're looking for Oliver Queen!" Skylar and Thea were kneeling on the floor in the crowd. "He's back in town. He owns this dump. Where can we find him?" No one answered. Skylar and Thea looked at each other worriedly. "Okay, then Plan B. I'm going to start shooting people until Mr. Queen..." Blue Hood 1 grabbed a woman, throwing her to the floor, aiming his gun at her. "Grows a pair."

Skylar stood, running toward Blue Hood 1, tackling him to the floor.

"Skylar!" Thea told her.

Skylar stood, turning to Blue Hood 2, twisting the gun out of his hands, using it to push him against a pillar, flipping him to the floor. His hand was a fake, falling to the floor.

Blue Hood 3 grabbed Thea from the floor, aiming a gun at her head.

Skylar aimed the gun she had taken from Blue Hood 2 at Blue Hood 3.

➣ ➣

Blue Hood 4 aimed a gun at Skylar. "Back off, hero. I'm just as happy to kill you two Queens as your brother." He walked toward Skylar, aiming his gun at her head. "Drop the gun or your sister gets a bullet in her head."

Thea was terrified about what they might do to her sister and herself. "Sky..."

Skylar hesitated for a moment, not wanting to stand down, but not wanting to get Thea hurt or killed, slowly lowering the gun to the floor.

Blue Hood 2 stood, picking up the gun.

Blue Hood 1 came up from behind Skylar, hitting her in the head with his gun hard enough to make her fall unconscious, catching her as she fell, looking at the others. "Let's go."

The Blue Hoods took Skylar and Thea out of the club, leaving.

Later

The place was a crime scene.

Jessica was here, questioning Roy.

"One of them was missing a hand," Roy explained.

Oliver and Jill walked in.

"What's going on here?" Oliver asked.

Jessica looked at Oliver and Jill. "It was the Blue Hoods again. They came here looking for you, Oliver, they took Skylar and Thea instead."

Jill was in shock, angry.

"Where?" Oliver asked.

"I'm sorry," Roy told them. "Skylar really tried to stop them, but I..."

Jill walked away toward the basement.

Jessica looked at Oliver. "We'll get your sisters back."

Oliver nodded.

➣

Basement (Foundry)

Justin, Felicity and John were in the basement.

Jill walked toward her box, opening it, pulling out her suit, mask and swords, along with her knives.

Oliver walked downstairs.

"We made a few improvements down here," Jill told him. Oliver looked around the more sophisticated version of their hideout/lair that they would later call the foundry. He was in shock, impressed. Jill looked toward Oliver, smirking. "I'm gonna find these guys."

Oliver walked closer. "No. We're gonna find these guys."

"I've been trying," Felicity told them.

"Thea's boyfriend said one of them was missing part of his hand," Oliver told them. "Maybe a veteran? Check hospital records, any males that have had surgical amputation on their extremities."

"Cross-checking by race and age," Felicity told them. "Got one. Jeff Deveau. African-American, late 30s."

"What else can you get on him?" Jill asked.

"Ex-Marine," Felicity told them.

"Would explain how he can handle himself," John told them. "Did he lose his hand overseas?"

"No," Felicity answered. "In the earthquake. It says he and his wife were trying to make it across the 52nd Street Bridge when it collapsed. She didn't make it."

"Phone records, please," Jill told her. "I wanna know who he's in contact with"

"He's made calls to a church in the Glades," Felicity told them. "Something called Standing Strong. A support group for those who lost loved ones in the quake."

"Great place to meet other angry guys who's angry as you looking for a little payback," Justin told them.

"Get an address, please," Oliver told them.

Jill walked toward a black box on the table. "Oliver, you're gonna need this." She opened it to reveal a high tech bow inside. "I had it custom made." Oliver walked closer, picking up the bow. "How'd I do?"

Oliver sighed. "It's perfect."

Justin, Felicity and John smiled.

"You're right," Felicity told them. "Once I signed on, I stopped thinking about all the bodies you dropped. Because I knew that being the vigilantes meant... occasionally... being a killer."

"There's another way," Jill told them.

"They have both of my sisters," Oliver told them. "What other way is there?"

Flashback

Night - Lian Yu - Woods

Slade, Oliver and Jill made their way through the woods on the island after dark, still searching for Shado. They saw three men surrounding Shado.

"Wait," Slade told them. "There are a lot of them. Wait for my signal."

Man 1 put a knife to Shado. "Where are the graves?"

"I don't know what you're talking about," Shado told him.

Man 1 punched Shado in the face, gripping her by her hair, pulling her head back, putting the knife to her cheek. "Tell me."

"Now," Slade told them.

Oliver ran toward Man 1, tackling him away from Shado.

Jill punched Man 2 in the face, kicking him in the stomach, flipping him to the ground.

Slade shot Man 3 in the chest, killing him.

Oliver picked up a rock, bashing it against Man 1's head.

"Oliver!" Jill told him. "Oliver!"

Oliver stopped. Blood was splattered on his face.

Night - Church

Thea and Skylar in the church, tied to two chairs.

Skylar was working on the ropes tying her to her chair secretly.

The Blue Hoods wandered around them.

"So, what do you wanna do with them?" Deveau asked.

"We could knock them out, drop them off somewhere," Baker told them.

"Come on," Aglin told him. "Why don't you buy them a new pair of Pradas while you're at it? They've seen our faces."

"Look, offing Oliver Queen's one thing," Colton told them. "But his sisters? They're not much older than my sister was when she was killed in the earthquake."

"Your sister wasn't killed, she was murdered," Aglin told him. "By their mother." He looked at Thea. "What we're doing here is justice which makes us the heroes."

"She didn't kill anybody," Skylar told them. "Our mother didn't kill anyone. Malcolm Merlyn destroyed the Glades."

"With Mommy's help," Aglin told them.

"Merlyn killed our father," Thea told them. "She thought he'd killed our brother, too. She was afraid of him. She must have been so afraid."

"Just like my wife," Aglin told them, taking out his gun, cocking it. "When our house collapsed on top of her." He aimed a gun at Skylar and Thea. Thea closed her eyes. A knife was thrown into Aglin's hand, making him drop the gun. "Ow!"

Jill/Sapphire was standing behind them, disguising her voice. "Get away from them!"

The Blue Hoods fired at Jill.

Jill ducked behind the pew next to her for cover.

Oliver/Arrow came out from hiding next to Baker, punching him in the face, twisting his arm behind his back, hitting him in the head with his bow repeatedly, making him fall.

Jill stood, throwing a knife into Colton's hand to make him drop the gun.

Deveau fired at Jill.

Jill rolled out of the way behind another pew for cover. Deveau ran closer. Jill kicked the gun out of his hands, punching him in the face twice, spinning to elbow him in the face, wrapping an arm around his neck, front flipping to flip Deveau to the floor, landing lightly on her feet. Colton picked up his gun, trying to shoot Jill from behind. Jill spun to throw a knife into his arm, making him drop the gun, kicking him in the chest, making him fall.

Aglin picked up his gun, trying to shoot Thea.

Skylar finally got free of her restraints, wrapping the ropes around his neck, turning to bend him over her shoulder. "Stay away from her."

Jill and Oliver walked closer.

Aglin looked at Jill and Oliver. "You wanna save them? There was no justice for people like the Queens till you showed us how to get it. You showed us."

Jill cut Thea free from her chair.

Thea stood hurriedly.

Oliver looked at Skylar, disguising his voice. "Let him go."

"He tried to kill me," Skylar told them. "He tried to kill my sister. And you're going to let them go?"

Jill disguised her voice. "No. We're going to hand him over to the cops."

"You're not going to kill them?" Thea asked.

"I'm trying a new way," Oliver told them. He looked at Jill. "I'm trying things her way." He looked at Skylar. "Let him go."

Skylar hesitated.

Colton started to get him.

Skylar punched Aglin in the face, flipping him onto Colton's back, making them both fall, punching Colton in the face hard enough to knock him out, kicking Aglin in the head to make him fall unconscious. She looked at Oliver and Jill. "Do whatever you want to." She walked toward Thea, grabbing her shoulders. "Let's go."

Thea nodded.

Skylar and Thea walked away, leaving.

Oliver and Jill watched them go.

Alley

Jessica was in her officer uniform, having given a man in a car a warning about speed limit. "Keep it under 40 next time. Have a good evening."

The car drove away.

Jessica walked toward her car, seeing the four men handcuffed to the fence. She heard something behind her, drawing her gun, turning around to aim it at the potential threat, only to find that it was Jill/Sapphire and Oliver/Arrow. She lowered her gun. "I was wondering when you two would show up."

"Do you know who they are?" Jill asked.

"The blue hoods gives me a good idea," Jessica told them.

"Bring them in," Oliver told her.

"Typically, when I bring in guys you've gone after, they're a little more dead," Jessica told them.

"He's trying things my way," Jill told her.

Oliver and Jill dashed off.

Jessica watched them go.

Day Three

Morning - Jessica's Loft

Jessica and Laurel were sitting at the table, having breakfast.

"So, they just handed the Blue Hoods over to you for you to turn them in," Laurel told her.

"Yeah," Jessica answered. "I'm having a tough time believing it, too."

"Before the vigilantes, we didn't have things like earthquake machines or copycat killers," Laurel told her.

"Laurel, Malcolm killed Tommy," Jessica told her.

"He was killed in the crossfire between three vigilantes," Laurel told her. "And now that Malcolm's dead, there's only two of them left. And I'm gonna help my boss catch them." Jessica sighed, standing, turning away. Laurel stood, walking closer. "Jess, I know that they helped you get justice for your boyfriend's death. But what about mine?"

Jessica turned to face her. "They didn't kill Tommy. You're just looking for someone to blame."

"I don't need to listen to this," Laurel told her, walking away, leaving.

Jessica sighed heavily, looking down.

Iron Heights Prison

Moira was sitting at the table, waiting for her visitors.

Thea and Skylar walked in.

"That outfit, with your coloring?" Skylar asked. "Isn't that cruel and unusual punishment or something?"

They sat down at the table with their mother.

"I've done my best to avoid mirrors in here," Moira told them.

They chuckled.

Skylar started to speak, "So, I..." the same time Moira asked, "How have you been?"

They chuckled sadly.

"Don't worry about me," Moira told them. "I want to hear about you. How are you doing? Thea, are you still seeing, uh... Roy was his name, wasn't it?" Thea and Skylar continued to look at her sadly in worry. "Sweeties, I'm fine, really."

Skylar took a deep breath. "We, uh... we almost died last night."

Moira looked at them worriedly. "What? Skylar, what happened?"

Skylar shook her head. "It doesn't matter."

"When I thought it was over, I kept thinking that if... if I died... you would spend the rest of your life thinking that... I hated you," Thea told her. Moira shook her head sadly. Thea had tears in her eyes, sighing. "And I want to hate you. I really tried to." Moira looked down. Thea shook her head, starting to cry. "But I can't. I can't, Mom."

Skylar had tears in her eyes.

Moira started to cry. "However long I am in this place, you have freed me."

Skylar sniffled, looking around the room. "If I hug you, are they gonna shoot us?"

Moira chuckled. "I'm willing to risk it if you are."

Skylar nodded.

Skylar and Moira stood, embracing for a long moment, pulling away.

Thea slowly stood, stepping closer to Moira. They embraced.

Queen Consolidated - Conference Room

The board was gathered at the table.

Isabel and Oliver were with them.

"You can't win this," Isabel told him. "I own 50% of the stock. By tomorrow, I'll have the outstanding five percent and I will control your company. Any attempt to fight me will lead to litigation and leave you penniless. And trust me, poverty isn't as glamorous as Charles Dickens made it look."

Oliver turned to face them. "What if I found someone to invest new equity capital?"

"A white knight?" Isabel asked skeptically. Oliver nodded. "With all due respect, your last name is now associated with mass murder. Even you don't have that good a friend."

"You're right," Oliver told her. "I have family."

Walter Steele walked in.

Isabel looked at him in surprise, standing. "Mr. Steele, it was my understanding that you had... resigned as CEO."

"I did," Walter told them, walking past Isabel. "I'm now Chief Financial Officer of Starling National Bank." He stood next to Oliver. "And my institution has committed rescue financing for Mr. Queen. We bought up the remaining shares of Queen Consolidated when they were released this morning."

Oliver used Isabel's words against her. "Now, I know I majored in dropping out, but I'm pretty sure that makes us partners going forward. So I guess... we will be seeing a lot of each other."

Isabel clearly wasn't happy, though she managed a chuckle. "You aren't at all what people say about you."

"Most people fail to see the real me," Oliver told her. Isabel and the board members walked out, leaving. Oliver turned to face his former stepfather. "Thank you, Walter."

They shook hands.

"Thank you for reaching out to me," Walter told him. "Whatever's happened between your mother and me, I'm gratified that you know you can still count on me. Your father would have been very proud of you, Oliver."

Oliver smiled a small smile.

Walter walked out, leaving.

Oliver turned to watch him go, sighing.

Cemetery

Jill was sitting at Tommy's grave in guilt.

Oliver walked closer from behind her, stopping in surprise when he saw her there.

Jill knew that he was there, sighing. "I come here. A lot." She stood, looking at Tommy's grave. "He got buried alive in that building because he was trying to help you save me after his father ran me through with a sword."

Oliver walked closer. "Jill... It wasn't your fault."

"That's sweet," Jill told him. "But it's a lie."

Oliver sighed, walking closer still. "Walter helped me save the company." Jill looked at him in surprise. Oliver nodded. "Isabel Rochev and I are now partners in the company."

"Congrats, I guess," Jill told him. "I mean, it's good you saved the company. Not so good you still have to deal with her."

Oliver chuckled lightly. "Yeah. I know. Thank you."

"I can go," Jill told him, turning to leave.

Oliver caught her arm to stop her. "No. You don't have to. It's, uh... Jill, I understand why you come here. You blame yourself for his death."

"He died saving me," Jill told him. "So, yeah, I blame myself. I remember that night. I see it every time I close my eyes. You could barely hold yourself together long enough to get me to the hospital. And when I woke up after surgery, you were gone."

"I'm sorry," Oliver told her. "I just... I couldn't be here and live with what had happened. I blamed myself, too."

"I know," Jill told him. "And I'm not blaming you. I don't want you to apologize, Oliver, because to me, you have nothing to apologize for."

Oliver used her words. "That's sweet. But it's a lie. You were right, last night." Jill looked at him curiously. "There is another way for us to do what we do. And I'm willing to try things more your way than mine."

Jill managed a small smile, nodding. "About time."

They both chuckled, looking at each other, managing small smiles.

Night - Lian Yu - Woods

Oliver had just finished killing the man that had tried to kill Shado. His face was still splattered in blood. He was horrified with himself, backing away toward Jill.

Shado and Slade were standing close together.

They heard a man speaking on radio in Cantonese.

Slade picked up the radio. "We're not alone. The question is... where did they come from?"

Just beyond the forest of trees, a boat was seen on the ocean.

Night - Glades

Skylar was walking through the Glades in the streets, cleaning up the destruction as repayment for the damage that her family had caused. Her phone rang. She pulled it out, answering. "Justin."

Justin was walking through Verdant. "What's up?"

"Just came back from visiting my mom," Skylar answered. "I finally convinced Thea to go with me."

"Really?" Justin asked. "Good for you. How did it go?"

"Better than I expected," Skylar answered.

Justin chuckled. "So, where are you now? Oh, no, wait, let me guess. You're in the Glades at night, cleaning up the streets to make amends for the destruction and death."

"Well, someone from this family has to do something to get the city to stop hating us," Skylar told him. "And I just want to help any way that I can."

"I know," Justin answered. "It's one of your better traits."

Skylar smirked. "Oh, yeah? And what's one of my worse ones?"

"From what I can tell, you don't have any," Justin told her.

Skylar chuckled. "Nice answer." Shadows approached the pavement on the ground behind her. Skylar heard the approaching footsteps, turning serious. "Hey, I gotta go. The Glades isn't gonna pick itself up."

"Okay," Justin told her. "Be safe."

"Always," Skylar told him, hanging up, putting her phone away. Three men approached her from behind. Skylar turned to face them. "Not now, guys. Wrong place, wrong time, wrong girl."

"You're Skylar Queen, right?" Man 1 asked.

"Yeah," Skylar answered.

"Then we have the right girl," Man 2 told her.

"A girl that you clearly don't know the first thing about," Skylar told them.

The men pushed her against the wall.

"We just want to be friendly," Man 1 told him. "What, we scare you or something?"

"No," Skylar answered. "You don't. Not so much." Man 1 tried to punch Skylar. Skylar ducked, punching Man 2 in the face, spinning to kick Man 3 in the stomach, making him fall. "Is that all you got? Huh?"

Man 1 aimed a gun at Skylar. "Not entirely."

Amy / Ruby:

A woman in red with Sai knives jumped closer. It would later be revealed this was Amy.

Amy slashed a Sai knife into Man 1's back, making him fall to the ground., slashing them into Man 2 and Man 3, spinning to kick Man 2 in the face, making him fall, punching Man 3 in the face, kicking Man 1 in the chest. Man 3 tried to hit her with the plank. Amy slashed the knives through the plank, making both pieces fall, hitting the hilts of the knives into Man 3's back, making him fall, spinning to kick Man 2 in the chest, making him fall.

Skylar watched in shock.

Amy looked at Skylar for a moment, running toward the bridge, standing on the ledge.

"Where the hell did you come from?" Skylar asked. Amy turned back. "Who are you?"

"Call me Ruby," Amy told her, turning around, running off, disappearing into the night.

Skylar was in shock.

Verdant - Foundry

Justin, Felicity and John were in the foundry.

Oliver and Jill walked toward them.

"It looks like Starling is back to only two vigilantes," John told them.

"We are back in the business?" Felicity asked.

Oliver shook his head. "No. I spent the past year trying to avenge my father." He sat on the desk, facing Jill. "If we're going to do... this... it has to be about honoring Tommy." Jill nodded in agreement. "I need to become the man he hoped I could be. You three helped me take the first step."

"So what's step two?" Justin asked.

"I'm game for anything as long as it doesn't involve flying," Felicity told them. "And I'm pretty down on landmines now too."

Justin smiled in amusement.

"The city still needs saving," Oliver told them. "But not by the hood or the girl in blue. Not by some... vigilantes who are just crossing names off a list." He stood, picking up an arrow, sighing. "It needs something more."

Jill took a few steps away, picking up one of her knives. "It needs heroes, Oliver."

"It's too bad the Blue Hoods kinda ruined your nicknames," Justin told them.

"No, it's good," Jill told them. "I never... I don't want to be called the girl in blue anymore. And I'm pretty sure that Oliver doesn't want to be called the hood."

Oliver shook his head in answer.

John nodded in understanding. "Okay. So, what do you want to be called?"

Oliver looked at the arrow in his hand.

Jill flashed back to what her sister had used to call her.
