From 2.01 "City of Heroes", in the conference room, Oliver stood in front of the board.

Oliver: (voice over) "My name is Oliver Queen."

From 2.16 "Suicide Squad", in the warehouse district, Jill aimed one gun at a man behind her, and another gun at Alexi in front of her.

Jill: (voice over) "I'm Jill Wright."

From multiple episodes and flashbacks on the island, there were flashes of Oliver and Jill running, fighting, explosions, etc.

Jill: (voice over) "After five years in hell..."

From 2.23 "Unthinkable", on the freighter, Oliver and Jill were fighting with Slade.

Jill: (voice over) "We have come to Starling City with only one goal."

From 2.08 "The Scientist", in the warehouse, Oliver/Arrow and Jill/Sapphire were fighting with Cyrus Gold and Marcus Black.

Jill: (voice over) "To save the city."

From 2.23 "Unthinkable", in the foundry, Oliver, Jill, Skylar, Amy and Sara were suited up. John and Justin were aiming their guns at the League. Felicity was watching them.

Oliver: (voice over) "Now others have joined our crusade."

From 2.17 "Birds of Prey", in the foundry, Oliver, Jill, Justin, John, Skylar, Amy, Sara, Felicity and Roy were here.

Oliver: (voice over) "To them, we are Oliver Queen and Jill Wright."

From 2.23 "Unthinkable", in the tunnel, Raven, Kira/Viper, Aurora/Glacia, Logan/Guardian, Roy (wearing his hoodie and mask), Oliver/Arrow, Jill/Sapphire, Skylar/Athena, Justin, Amy/Ruby, Sara/Canary, Karma/Cobra, Nyssa and the men from the League were walking toward the Mirakuru men.

Oliver: (voice over) "But to the rest of Starling City, we are someone else."

From 2.12 "Tremors", in the warehouse district, Skylar and Roy followed Oliver/Arrow away with Jill/Sapphire in his arms, leaving the flames of an explosion behind them.

Jill: (voice over) "We are..."

From 2.01 "City of Heroes", in the foundry, Jill looked at the knife in her hand. She morphed into Sapphire.

Jill: (voice over) "Something else."

Oliver looked at the arrow in his hand. He morphed into Arrow.

From 3.03 "Corto Maltese", in the gym, Jessica walked toward Ted.

Felicity: (voice over) "Previously on Sapphire Arrow."

"There's a lot of good people, they lose someone, they lose themselves, which is why they come in here to work off that rage," Ted told her. "Types like you, Jessica."

From 3.03 "Corto Maltese", outside the cafe, Thea and Roy were talking.

"Roy, are you okay?" Thea asked. "You look a little tired."

"I just haven't been sleeping much lately," Roy told her.

From 3.04 "The Magician", in the gym, Laurel was training in the gym, punching a bag repeatedly, looking at Jessica. "Finish training with Amy again?"

"Amy doesn't want me to get hurt, but she's willing to help me work out some anger so that I don't get myself killed," Jessica answered.

"Jessie, you're gonna be training me, too," Laurel told her. "I don't have the experience or knowledge that you do, but that's why you're gonna teach me. And if you turn me down, well, I'm just gonna have to go out there without your help, won't I? I can't imagine what could happen then."

Jessica gave Laurel a look for pulling that card, sighing.

➣ ➣

Day One

Morning - Opening Montage

In Jill/Amy's apartment, Oliver and Jill were training with swords, trading blows, but they were able to block each other's movements.

In a city gym, Amy and Jessica were training in the ring, where Amy was teaching Jessica how to fight better than she knew how to fight from taking years of self-defense classes, teaching her some moves from the League so that Jessica could work off the rage without getting herself hurt. Laurel was watching them, memorizing the moves. They were training hand to hand, sword/staff fighting, etc.

In a warehouse, Thea and Malcolm were training in robes with swords.

In Justin's apartment, Justin and Skylar were training their every day fighting with bamboo staffs.

➣

City Gym

Amy and Jessica were training in the ring while Laurel watched.

Amy looked between the two Lance sisters while she was training Jessica, without getting distracted. "So the two of you have also been getting training from a guy named Ted Grant?"

"For me, for the past decade," Jessica answered. "Laurel just started to see him."

"Hope neither of you are planning to do something stupid," Amy told them.

"Not with you watching out for us," Jessica answered.

Amy smirked, chuckling. "Damn right."

Amy and Jessica continued to train, slashing swords and swinging staffs.

Laurel watched them curiously, walking closer. "Amy, can you teach me some, too?"

Amy tilted her head, sighing. "Laurel, I'm only doing this for Jessica so she doesn't explode and get herself hurt."

"I know," Laurel told her. "And you know that that could happen to me, too. I'm not wanting to go out there and get myself killed, all right? I just need a release, too."

Amy scratched her head. "You don't know the things that Jessica already does. She's an easier student because she already knows some of the things that I do. Even if I do know a lot more than she does." She looked at Jessica. "No offense, Jess."

Jessica shook her head. "None taken. I know that all I have is a decade of self-defense and cop training. I'm not trained by the League of Assassins like you are, Amy."

"But that's why Jessica went to you for help," Laurel told her. "Help is all we want, Amy."

Jessica gave her a look. "Laurel. Stop. Seriously. Please."

"I know that Jessica won't go out by herself to stop some bad guy as a vigilante, Laurel," Amy told her. "Not until she's ready, or until I think she's ready. And Jessica's been able to go out on the field on her own as a cop for a while now. And Jess is a damn good cop, which means that she's more ready for a lot of threats. You, I have a feeling that you'll try to go out by yourself without being prepared and get yourself hurt."

"So prepare me, and that won't happen, Amy," Laurel told her. "If you don't prepare me, that's exactly what's going to happen."

Amy and Jessica were frustrated with Laurel's reckless stubbornness.

"I know you're hurting," Amy told her. "I know you're grieving. And I am sorry. But that doesn't give you the right to manipulate me to get what you want. By holding that over my head. Or your sister's head. You can't just blackmail me or Jessica that way. I miss Sara, too. And I want to get her killer just as badly as the two of you do."

Laurel sighed, regretting the way that she was treating them, but wanted to get what she wanted at the same time. "Amy, please."

Jessica sighed, rolling her eyes. "Laurel. Come on. Stop. Please."

➣

Justin's Apartment - Living Room

Skylar spun around to swing the staff toward him. Justin ducked, hitting her legs with his staff, but Skylar was able to flip through the air and land on her feet before she fell to the ground, swinging toward Justin, who raised his staff to block the move.

They finished their training, smiling.

"You're getting better, Sky," Justin told her. "Getting training from me for five years and then extra training from Mirakuru before you got cured,  and training from Oliver, Jill and Amy will do that to you, I suppose."

Skylar smiled. "You're getting better, too, Justin. I mean, you taught me most of what I know. They just helped me build on what I learned from you. Just, you're actually learning how to fight better than before because of all of us, too."

Justin nodded in agreement. "Guess we're both getting better."

They smiled.

Skylar pointed at him in concern. "Just be careful."

"Yeah, Sky, I know, heart condition," Justin told her. "Felicity said that Aurora's working on a way to make sure that the vessel doesn't burst. So I'm pretty sure that the condition will be nonexistent soon."

Skylar smiled, stepping closer. "I hope you're right. And that Aurora can actually get it done. Because I've lost a lot in my life, Justin. And I'm not planning on losing you, too."

Justin smiled a little, brushing back Skylar's hair. "You're not gonna lose me, Skylar."

Skylar and Justin looked at each other for a long moment, smiling, kissing slowly, sweetly and passionately for a long moment, pulling away, leaning their heads together.

➣

Jill/Amy's Apartment - Outside Balcony

On the top floor of the apartment building, with an amazing view of the lake ahead, and on the outside balcony of the apartment where there was a lot of space to train.

Jill swung her sword toward Oliver. Oliver ducked, swinging toward her.

Jill ducked, raising her sword to block his next move, smirking. "See? Swords aren't so hard to use, Ollie."

"Well, not everyone can be taught how to use a sword by Katana or several people from the League, Jill," Oliver told her.

"No, but you get to be taught how to use a sword by Katana and League's student," Jill told him. "Which is the next best thing."

They smiled, putting down their swords.

"Yeah, well, we made a deal two years ago that if I learned how to use a sword, you would learn how to use a bow," Oliver told her.

Jill smiled, nodding. "Oliver, while I have been known to shoot a few arrows... I'm not exactly an expert with a bow. I've only shot a bow twice. Once was in the first fight that Sara and Amy helped us with. And then again during a fight with my long-lost cousin Nyssa. Both times, I wasn't exactly thinking straight. Because my dead sister Amy announced herself as living right beforehand. And then Nyssa had her handmaiden Raven drug me with snake poison to tell me that she was my cousin. And we're from a long line of al Ghuls." She turned to face Oliver, giving him a sarcastic look. "See how screwed up my life is? Sure you still wanna get tangled up with all that by being with me?"

"Your uncle and your cousin are messed up," Oliver corrected. "You and Amy? You're just being dragged into the mess, Jill. That's not how you started out. And no matter how much all of this is screwed up, it's not enough to scare me away." Jill smiled. "Besides, we've both been through hell and back, almost literally. This is definitely easy compared to that." They both chuckled. Jill picked up Oliver's bow and arrow, aiming at a target on the edge of the balcony. Oliver walked closer. "Uh-uh. Jill. Relax, relax, relax. It's easier to hit the target when you pull back gently."

"I know that much," Jill told him.

Oliver chuckled, standing closeby, holding Jill's arm that was holding the bow, steadying her elbow of the one that was holding the string. "You need all three fingers to come off the bowstring at the same time. Relax. Breathe. And release."

Jill released the arrow, shooting it into the target, close to the bulls eye. "Easy."

"Don't get too cocky, Jill," Oliver told her.

"Who, me, Ollie?" Jill asked teasingly. "Never."

They looked at each other, smiling small smiles, chuckling. Jill put the bow down to kiss Oliver for a moment. They pulled away, kissing more deeply and passionately.

Warehouse

Thea and Malcolm finished their sword duel by holding each other's swords to each other's throats.

Malcolm smiled proudly. "Impressive."

Thea lowered her sword. "How do normal people spend their morning?"

➣

Felicity's Apartment - Living Room

Felicity was doing sit ups in front of the TV, watching a workout video, laying down, raising her arms in the air. "Yes." She stood, walking into the bathroom to get her toothbrush to brush her teeth. There was a knock on the door. Felicity walked toward the door. "Mrs. Fernandez, I already told you, I haven't seen your..." She opened the door, surprised to see Ray standing outside. "Cat."

"I haven't seen him, either," Ray told her, walking inside. "Or is the cat a girl?" Felicity closed the door, turning to face Ray in confusion. "Was I being misogynist just now? Or is it misogynistic? I never know."

Felicity took her toothbrush out of her mouth. "Ray, what are you..."

Ray turned to face her. "Nice place you've got here. Lots of space. So it occurred to me this morning, what's the one thing that Queen Consolidated has, that we don't use to its maximum potential?"

Felicity pointed at the door with her toothbrush. "A doorbell?"

"Have you heard of a process called cogeneration?" Ray asked.

Felicity walked toward her adjoining kitchen. "I haven't even looked at a cup of coffee yet."

"Well, cogeneration is--" Ray started.

"The repurposing of waste heat given off by electricity production," Felicity finished, getting coffee.

Ray nodded. "Exactly. It's a principle of thermodynamic efficiency, which occurred to me could be applied to a building which generates over 240,000 watts of electricity, like Queen Consolidated."

Felicity walked closer with her coffee. "Mm-hmm."

Felicity sat down.

Ray sat down next to her. "I did some preliminary calculations on the drive over."

Ray showed Felicity the calculations on a piece of paper.

"You want to sell QC's excess energy back to the city?" Felicity asked.

Ray nodded. "If by 'sell', you mean 'give away for free', yes. Energy is something that should be given freely to the masses." There was a knock on the door. "Uh, you still haven't found Mrs. Fernandez's cat, I'm guessing."

They stood. Felicity walked toward the door, opening it.

Justin walked in. "Felicity, we're in trouble."

"What are you talking about, Justin?" Felicity asked.

Justin turned to face her. "Guess who called me over here?"

A blonde woman walked in, squealing, embracing both Justin and Felicity. "Oh, my beautiful kids."

"Very friendly with your neighbors, I see," Ray told them.

"Mom?" Felicity asked.

Ray frowned in surprise. "Mom?"

"Mom, what are you doing here?" Justin asked.

"Justin, I came to see both of you," their mother answered. "For a visit. Look, look, look." She showed them her phone. "Didn't you get my text?"

"Mom, to send a text, you actually have to press send on the text," Justin told her.

Their mother nodded. "Oh, okay, not a big deal. I'll do it right now."

Their mother pressed send. Justin and Felicity's phones went off. Their mother giggled, while they rolled their eyes and walked away.

Ray looked at Justin and Felicity. "Are you adopted?"

"Oh, I'm so sorry," their mother told them. "I didn't know you had somebody staying over."

"Oh, no, he's not staying over," Felicity told them. "He's not, like, we're not... this is my boss."

Ray shook Justin's hand. "I think we've met once, when you were trying to help Oliver and Skylar Queen get their company back, Justin Smoak, with the help of Jill Wright. But it's a pleasure to actually officially meet you."

"Likewise," Justin told him.

Their mother shook Ray's hand. "Hi. You can call me Donna."

"I'm Ray," Ray told her.

Donna used her hand to cover her mouth in shock. "Oh, my God. Palmer?" Ray nodded. "You're that watch guy."

Ray smiled. "We like to call them smart wearables."

Donna held up her arm to show them her watch excitedly. "I bought one of your watches. Look, see? Felicity and Justin here think I don't pay attention to all of their techy things."

Donna sighed, while Justin and Felicity cringed slightly.

"Yeah, I see you've got a 3GS," Ray told her. He showed them his watch. "I'm actually wearing a prototype for the new six. Yeah, it basically replaces your computer."

Donna smiled. "Very fancy."

"You know what?" Ray asked, taking off the watch, handing it to Donna. "It's yours."

Donna gasped. "Oh, no, seriously?"

Ray put the watch on Donna's wrist, looking between the three Smoaks. "I'll let you three catch up." Felicity nodded, leading Ray to the door. "Let me know what you think about those cogeneration numbers. Justin, Donna, hope to see you again soon."

Ray walked out of the apartment.

Felicity called after him. "Wouldn't count on it. They'll probably be really busy." She closed the door, leaning against it. "Planning my funeral after I die of embarrassment."

➣

Flashback - 5 Years Ago

College Dorm Room

A goth Felicity, in all black with her hair a deep dark black, was typing on her computer, reading aloud. "'You are standing in an open field west of the White House with a boarded front door.'"

A guy was sitting on the nearby bed. "What are you doing?"

"It just finished coding a Linux Emulator for Zork," Felicity answered.

The guy walked closer, reading from her laptop. "Mm, 'it is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten  by a grue.'"

"I guess you'll just have to protect me," Felicity told him.

They started to makeout.

The guy's roommate was sitting at his desk, rolling his eyes in annoyance. "Why can't you just quietly have sex under a comforter like normal college students?"

A computer beeped. Felicity's boyfriend went to check on it.

"You found an exploitable mode?" Felicity asked, walking closer.

"Now I just need your super computer virus to crack the firewall," the boyfriend answered.

Felicity took his computer. "I really wish you wouldn't call my x-axis bi-numeric algorithm a 'super-virus'. Spoofing the IP, switching to MD6, and... somebody take a screenshot. We have to post this to hacker forum, to brag that we actually got in."

"Hold on," the boyfriend told her.

"30 seconds until the firewall goes back up," the roommate told them.

Felicity looked at her boyfriend. "Cooper, what are you doing?"

"I think the world would be a much better place if there weren't any student loans, don't you?" Cooper asked.

"You can't wipe out all the loans," Felicity told him. "They'll never think it's a glitch. They're gonna track us down and find us."

"10 seconds," the roommate told them.

"Cooper!" Felicity told him.

"I'm not going to jail for you, Cooper, and you shouldn't, either," the roommate told him.

Felicity unplugged everything. "Coop!"

"I almost had it," Cooper complained.

"What were you thinking?" Felicity asked.

Cooper stood. "Ever heard of hacktivism? Instead of posting to web forums, we could be doing some real good in the world."

Felicity walked closer. "And going to prison in the process."

"It's all about what you want to be when you grow up, babe," Cooper told him. "A hacker, or a hero?"

➣

Now

Night - Thea's Loft - Living Room

Oliver and Skylar walked into the loft, looking around.

"Hello?" Skylar called. "Speedy?"

Thea walked closer. "Just signed the lease. What do you think?"

"Thea, you're signing a lease on a spot that you can't possibly afford," Oliver told her.

Thea hesitated. "I can, actually."

"With whose money?" Skylar asked.

"Malcolm Merlyn's," Thea answered. "His estate, I mean." Oliver turned away in frustration. Skylar sighed, running her hands through her hair. "When I left Starling City, I mentioned something to Ned Foster about Malcolm being my father, and there's a lot of legal stuff I didn't understand, and..."

Skylar lowered her hands. "He left you money?"

Thea nodded. "The entire world thinks he's dead. So, yes, legally, his estate goes to his last living heir."

Oliver cleared his throat. "And last week when you told us that you had investors for the club, that was a lie?"

Thea crossed her arms over her chest. "I was afraid you wouldn't react well to the idea of me taking his money."

"It's blood money, Thea," Oliver told her. "You don't know what Malcolm Merlyn is capable of."

"I know what his money is capable of," Thea replied. "Renting me this really sweet loft."

"Listen to me," Skylar told her. "He's alive, and if you take his money, he has a hold on you."

"I think you're being a little melodramatic," Thea told them. "I'm his daughter, okay? He's not going to put me in danger."

Oliver stepped closer. "He's responsible for the death of 503 innocent people, including your brother."

Thea gave him a look. "Now that is a card that you do not get to play. Ollie, you are my brother, and Sky, you are my sister, but that does not mean you have the right to tell me what I can do with my life. I am my own person. The movers are coming tomorrow, so you can stop by with popcorn or not stop by at all."

Thea walked away upstairs. Oliver and Skylar exchanged a look, sighing worriedly.

"Well..." Skylar trailed off, sighing sarcastically. "This is great. This is just fan-freaking-tastic. Isn't it?"

Oliver gave her a look. "Skylar..."

They looked outside when the entire city was going black with a power outage, frowning in confusion.

Jessica was sitting at her desk at work, looking up when the power went out, leaving the station in darkness. "What? Oh, come on." She stood, looking around with her phone's flashlight. "What the hell? Hello? Everybody okay?"

Donna, Justin and Felicity were sitting on the floor, eating and drinking takeout, looking up when the power went off.

Justin looked around. "What the hell?"

➣

Street

Jill and Amy were walking together down the street when the power outage occurred behind them, making a street light explode. They turned to see what happened. "What the hell is going on?"

"Amy?" Jill asked.

A car ran into a light pole.

Transformers were exploding.

Jill was getting people inside so they didn't get hurt.

A woman was about to be run over by a car.

Amy ran closer, pulling the woman out of the way of the car to save her. "Are you okay?"

The woman nodded. "Thank you."

Jill and Amy walked down the street, toward where the only power on the block was coming from inside a TV store that showed screens of colors.

"We are Brother Eye. Judgment has been rendered against this city. A sentence carried out."

Verdant - Main Room

Felicity and Justin walked in.

Donna followed. "Ooh, a nightclub." She chuckled. "You know, I'm really not dressed for a nightclub."

Justin turned to look at Donna's nightclubish dress, skeptic of what she had said. "Really? You think? My girlfriend Skylar owns this place with her sister. They just need a little help turning the power back on, so, why don't you come, come? Stay put."

Justin pulled Donna toward the stairs to hopefully keep her out of the way.

"Stay here?" Donna asked.

Justin nodded. "Right here."

Donna nodded. "Okay."

Oliver, Skylar, Jill and Amy walked in.

"Any luck tracking this..." Jill trailed off, looking at Donna in confusion. "Hello."

"Hi," Donna told them.

"Uh..." Justin trailed off.

Donna looked at Justin and Felicity. "Are these your friends?"

"Yes," Justin answered. "Mom, this is Oliver and Skylar--"

"Queen," Donna finished.

"And Jill and Amy--" Justin started.

"Wright," Donna finished. "The girls who came back from the dead. Jill and Oliver are quite the public couple in news these days. You four are practically famous." She realized something, looking at Justin. "Justin's girlfriend Skylar. Justin, you're dating Skylar Queen?"

"Uh, yeah," Skylar answered. "Justin Smoak is dating Skylar Queen." She smiled, shaking Donna's hand. "Hi, Ms. Smoak. It's very nice to meet you."

"Yes, it's so nice to meet the four of you, too," Donna told her. "And please, Skylar, call me Donna, if you're gonna be with my Justice."

Justin winced, embarrassed. "Mom, come on."

Skylar chuckled in amusement, smiling. "Okay."

Donna looked at Justin and Felicity. "How many billionaires do you two know?"

John walked in, holding baby Sara.

"Diggle, uh, meet Felicity and Justin's mom," Amy told him.

"Mom?" John repeated. "John Diggle. Very nice to meet you."

"Hi," Donna told him. "Nice to meet you, too." She looked at baby Sara. "Aw, hello. Who is this little nugget?"

"This is my daughter, Sara," John answered.

"Mom?" Justin asked. Donna was in awe over Sara. "Mom? Mom."

"What?" Donna asked.

"We have to go downstairs," Justin told her.

"I didn't mean to stop you," Donna told them. "I'm sorry. Little baby moment. So sorry."

Oliver nodded. "It's great to meet you, finally."

"Nice to meet you, too," Donna told them. "Yes, definitely."

Skylar, John, Oliver, Jill and Amy walked away toward the basement door.

"Why is Sara here?" Oliver asked.

John sighed. "Lyla's on assignment, and the nanny called in sick."

"But we can't bring her down there," Oliver told him.

Justin and Felicity walked closer.

"Why not, Oliver?" Amy asked. "Who's she gonna tell?"

"Well, she..." Oliver trailed off. "I'm not comfortable with her down there."

Jill smiled a small smile in amusement, shaking her head. "Oh... no. Oh, boy."

Skylar smiled. "Jill, gotta love your boyfriend, slash my brother. Don't you?"

Jill nodded. "Yes. We get it, Skylar. You're excited for us, and you're happy for us. Thank you."

Skylar smiled, nodding. "Yep. Can't blame me. I mean, you act that way around me and Justin all the time."

Jill chuckled, smiling, tilting her head slightly. "Can't really deny that, Sky."

Amy chuckled. "Deny Sky. That rhymes."

"God help me," Justin told them. He looked at John. "Our mother loves babies."

John sighed. "Really?"

Foundry

Justin, Skylar, Oliver, Jill, John, Felicity, Amy and Roy were in the foundry.

"Whoever this Brother Eye group is somehow got access to the city's protective network and uploaded a system-wide virus," Felicity told them, walking toward her computer, sitting down.

"Any way to trace it?" Jill asked.

"No," Felicity answered. "It deleted itself as soon as it completed its task."

"He said the power outage was the beginning," Amy told them.

"Let's find them before there's a next time," Oliver told them.

Jill nodded in agreement. "Yes."

SCPD

Laurel walked in, walking toward Lance and Jessica.

"Hey, Laurel, are you all right?" Lance asked. "Did you get here okay?"

Laurel nodded. "I'm fine. I was close. But why do I get the emergency services alert? Why didn't they call the district attorney?"

"'Cause he's visiting his niece in Coast City," Lance answered. "You are the acting district attorney. Congratulations."

Jessica walked away to call Amy.

In the foundry, Amy answered. "Hello, Jessica. One guess as to why you're calling. Hint? It's not for more training lessons."

Jessica managed a chuckle, tilting her head. "Hey, Amy. And you're right. No, it's not. As usual, it's about saving this city from damnation. Again. You're on this Brother Eye thing?"

"We are," Amy answered.

"Good," Jessica told her. "No one here knows computers better than you guys."

Felicity was working on the computer.

Flashback

Day - College Campus

Felicity was walking with Cooper, on her phone. "No, for the last time, I am not interested in buying a fake ID, but you can ask Justin if he wants one, you know, if he wasn't getting discharged from the military because of his heart condition. I am hanging up now, bye." She hung up, sighing. "My mom says hi. You still angry at me?"

Cooper threw his hands up in frustration. "I was past the firewall and into the account network. I had 3,000 debts wiped by the time you pulled the plug on me."

"Well, think of how many accounts you could go to prison for if I hadn't stopped you," Felicity told him.

Cooper chuckled. "Relax. The DNS wasn't configured. They can't backtrace me."

"They can," Felicity argued. "The subroot was configured." They faced each other. "By accessing the accounts, you set off a packets feedback that anyone could trace back to."

Copper laughed. "You are gorgeous when you're being a chicken."

"I'm serious," Felicity told him.

Cooper picked Felicity up in his arms. "I'm serious."

They started to kiss.

Police pulled up, sirens blaring, lights flashing. Men got out, running toward them. "Cooper Seldon! FBI, don't move!"

The men pulled Cooper away from Felicity.

Felicity tried to stop them. "What? No!" More men held Felicity back while the others handcuffed Cooper. "Let go of me! No, no, no, no!"

The FBI continued to arrest Cooper. "You're under arrest for violation of US code title 18, section 1030. You have the right to remain silent."

Felicity tried to stop them from taking Cooper's laptop, crying. "Don't, it's not his! Let go of him, let him go!"

Now

Night - Verdant - Foundry

The team was waiting.

A Brother Eye message was on the computers. "We said this was just the beginning. Electricity is not the only power in this city. Consider money, for example. The banks are next to go dark. Your beloved dollars wiped away as your accounts will finally all be equal at zero."

"Felicity?" Oliver asked.

"I'm working on it," Felicity told them. "I set up some trace IP packets since Brother Eye's last broadcast. As soon as he opened the channel, I scooped up the breadcrumbs."

"Crumbs we can follow?" Jill asked.

"I hope so," Amy told them.

Oliver sighed.

SCPD

A cop walked up to Laurel. "Where's Captain and Detective Lance?"

"Coordinating squad car patrols with dispatch," Laurel answered, turning to face him. "Why? What's wrong?"

"There's a situation at Starling National," the cop answered.

"Send in an ESU squad," Laurel told him.

The cop frowned. "Sorry, ma'am, but you don't have the power to--"

Laurel gave him a look. "I'm acting district attorney. The city charter gives me operational authority in times of crisis, which this clearly is. And I'm not letting anyone get hurt. Send in an ESU now."

The cop nodded, walking away.

Verdant - Foundry

The team was standing at the computers.

Amy walked closer. "What's going on?"

"SCPD dispatched a riot squad at Starling National ," Oliver answered.

"That's like fighting a fire with gasoline," John told them.

"Suit up," Jill told them.

They walked away to get suited up.

Starling National Bank - Outside

The riot was large and violent and loud outside of Starling National Bank.

A man was using a trash can to try to break the glass.

SCPD men in protective suits ran closer.

An officer spoke through a megaphone. "This group has been ordered to disperse. Go back inside! Get back behind the line!"

Oliver/Arrow and Jill/Sapphire were on one motorcycle, driving closer. Amy/Ruby and Skylar/Athena were on another, driving closer.

Justin spoke to them through comms. "The riot is getting out of control. You need to hurry up."

Outside the bank, the police continued to try and hold the rioting crowd back. "You are trespassing! Please disperse immediately. We will use force."

Skylar shot a wire around a man, making him fall.

"Get away from the bank!" Jill told them.

Oliver and Skylar shot more wires to restrain more men.

Jill and Amy threw in tear gas bombs, making them go off and the smoke spread around the crowd.

The crowd started to run.

"Tear gas is dispersing them," Oliver told them. "But we can't calm the entire city."

Felicity was still in the foundry with John, Justin and Roy. "The trace led me to the virus they're using. It is a mile past complex. I'm combing through now. No, no, no."

"What's wrong?" Amy asked.

"The virus, I can't stop it," Felicity told them.

"How do you know?" Skylar asked.

"Because it's mine," Felicity answered. "I wrote it five years ago."

Verdant - Foundry

Oliver, Jill, Amy and Skylar returned to the foundry, to Felicity, John, Justin and Roy.

Felicity was sitting at her desk, overwhelmed, turning to face them. "Okay, before you say anything, just know that I never imagined the virus being used for something like this. I mean, sure, I could have imagined it. I have a very vivid imagination." She stood. "Like Cronuts, I had a vision of them--"

"Hey," Jill told her. "Relax. Take a deep breath." Felicity did as told. "Good. Now start at the beginning."

"I was in this, I guess you could call it a group in college," Felicity told them. "We were hacktivists, for lack of a better word. Civil disobedience via the World Wide Web." She looked at her computer, near tears. "I created this... this... super virus. It could give us root access to any infected server. We could expose government fraud and start virtual sit-ins and digitally deface criminals. I guess you could say it was my first attempt at being a hero."

"Felicity, why didn't you tell us about any of this?" Oliver asked.

Justin looked at Oliver and Jill. "Do we even know a fraction of what happened to both of you all those years ago?" He looked at Amy. "Or what happened to you while you were in the League?"

Amy didn't answer, sighing. "Who else had access to the program?"

"Myron Forest," Felicity answered. "He was my--I had a boyfriend in college, and Myron was his roommate."

"And he was a member of this hacktivist group?" Skylar asked. Felicity nodded. "What about the boyfriend?"

"Oh, he couldn't have done this," Felicity told them. "He's... not in the picture, but Myron always had somewhat of an edge."

"Can you give me an address?" Oliver asked.

"Sure," Felicity answered, sitting at her desk, putting on her glasses.

Jill looked at the computer. "There's one small problem. Not small necessarily, but short. Just take the alleyway entrance."

They saw that Thea was walking toward the basement access. Skylar and Oliver exchanged a look, walking away to get dressed in regular clothes.

Flashback

Day - Prison

Felicity was visiting Cooper in prison. They grabbed the phones to talk to each other from either side of the glass between them.

"Are you okay?" Felicity asked.

Cooper nodded. "I've been better."

"I talked it over, with Myron, and I'm going to tell them I wrote the super virus," Felicity explained.

Cooper shook his head. "You can't do that."

"I can't let you rot in prison, Coop," Felicity replied.

"You can't tell them you wrote that virus, 'cause I already told them I did," Cooper explained.

Felicity gave him a look. "Cooper."

"I always said I'd protect you from the grues," Cooper told her.

Felicity started to cry. "This isn't--"

"It's better this way," Cooper told her. "I wiped out  those loans. There's no reason both of us should be in prison.  I love you."

Felicity nodded, crying. "I love you, too."

Now

Night - SCPD

Lance and Jessica walked up to Laurel.

"Hey," Jessica told her. "You got a minute?" They walked into Lance's office to talk alone. "Congratulations. You called in a riot squad. You nearly started one."

"And you did it behind our backs," Lance told her.

"You were busy, and the situation at Starling National was escalating," Laurel told them defensively.

"You escalated it, Laurel," Jessica told her. "Please tell me you can at least see that now."

Laurel sighed. "Okay. I'm sorry."

Lance walked closer in concern. "Laurel. Jessica... what's gotten into you two? You're angry. You're distant. You're reckless. Tell me you're not boozing again."

Jessica and Laurel answered together, shaking their heads. "No."

"Then what the hell's going on with you two?" Lance asked. "Because this isn't you. Look, I haven't said anything because I was hoping that one or both of you would say something, but both of you, sweethearts, are in ten different kinds of pain, and you won't talk about it."

Jessica looked as if she was trying to tell him.

Laurel cut her off. "We can't talk about it with you."

Lance stepped back. "Okay, but listen, you don't have to talk about it with me. But talk about it with each other, or with somebody else, 'cause secrets hurt, babies. Sometimes more than the truth."

Jessica was trying to find a way to tell him the truth, but Laurel gave her a look and shook her head, and Lance walked out of the office, leaving them alone, both sisters incredibly upset, though Jessica was annoyed with Laurel because she kept stopping her from telling their father the truth with belief that they could seriously hurt him with the truth given his heart condition.

Verdant

Thea was trying to open the door to the foundry.  Skylar and Oliver walked closer.

"Backup generator keeps that locked," Oliver explained. "Or... so they told me. Jill and I could never get that stupid door to open. And Skylar tells me that neither could the two of you. Contractor says the entire sub level is flooded, though. It was a water main break."

"Sky, I know you're probably working," Thea told her. "You know, getting ready for reopening. But what are you doing here, Ollie?"

"A super hacker is trying to take over the city, and he's worried about both you and me," Skylar answered. "We're both worried about you. We still get to be worried, right?"

Thea smiled, nodding. "Yes. And if you really have to, you can even be judgmental, occasionally. But someone told me recently that family is pretty precious. And love, in spite of everything, is what makes it precious. Right now, the Queen family is just the three of us."

"So let it just be you and us," Oliver told her. "And don't take Merlyn's money."

"I'm trying to meet you and Sky halfway here, Ollie," Thea told him. "The other half is up to you two."

Thea walked away.

Skylar nodded, turning to face Oliver. "Any other bright ideas? You know, other than pushing our sister away again?"

Oliver sighed. "Skylar..."

"Look, Oliver, I don't like the idea of Thea talking Malcolm's money anymore than you do," Skylar admitted. "Okay? But if we have to deal with Thea taking his money just to be close to her again... To have our sister back... I'm willing to do that. Are you?"

Oliver and Skylar exchanged a look, sighing worriedly.

➣

Myron's Office

Amy/Ruby and Jill/Sapphire went to Myron's office.

Myron was sitting at his desk, turning off his computer. The black screen showed the sisters' reflection.

Jill disguised her voice. "Myron Forest... you have failed this city."

Jill and Amy threw knives into the computers to destroy them.

Justin was instructing the from the foundry. "Tell him he has to retract all the infected packets from subsystem mainframes in the city."

Amy looked at Myron. "Tell us how to shut down the virus. Do it now."

"You think I'm behind the cyber attacks?" Myron asked.

"Sounds like a Brother Eye to me," Amy told them.

"I swear to God, I'm not," Myron told them. "I head up the IT department of an accounting firm. I drive a hybrid. It's blue. I'm one of the sheep lunatics like these guys hate. Why would I do this?"

"His digital fingerprints are all over this code," Justin told them. "It's an X-axis bionumeric algorithm."

Jill looked at Myron. "The code's an X-axis bionumeric algorithm that you've used before."

"In college," Myron told them. "My roommate, his girlfriend. Yeah, yeah. We developed it, we called it a super virus, but that doesn't meant I'm the Eye guy. Have you tried Felicity Smoak?"

"She's innocent," Jill told him.

"Then it's gotta be someone else," Myron told them. "After we graduated, I might have showed the code off to a few people."

"Who were they?" Amy asked

"I don't remember," Myron told them. "It was five years ago. I didn't think it was a big deal. We were just kids playing with matches."

➣

Verdant - Foundry

Jill and Amy returned to the foundry to join Justin, Skylar, Oliver, John, Felicity and Roy, taking off their masks. Felicity was even more overwhelmed and freaking out.

John sighed. "We're running out of expletives."

"We need to track down whoever Myron shared your code with," Jill told them.

"I hacked all of his emails and texts from five years ago, and all I got was depressed," Felicity told them.

"Okay, what about your ex?" Amy asked.

"I already told you, he didn't do it," Felicity told them.

"Why?" Oliver asked. "Because he's your ex-boyfriend?"

Felicity looked about to cry, turning to face them.

"Because Felicity's senior year of college, she and Cooper did a stupid thing," Justin answered. "He got arrested and he went to prison."

"So he went to prison," Amy told them. "Maybe he got out."

Justin shook his head. "He didn't."

"Justin, how do you know?" Amy asked.

Felicity looked at Justin for help, because she couldn't tell them herself.

Justin sighed, looking at the others. "Because he's dead. He hung himself before sentencing."

Amy looked guilty for being so hard. "Felicity..."

"I just really need to be alone right now," Felicity told them, standing, walking out, leaving.

Amy sighed, looking down.

Queen Consolidated - Felicity's Office

Felicity was sitting alone at her office.

Ray walked in. "Ah, I'm glad you're here. When I launched my plan to rebrand Starling into Star City, I didn't count on cyber terrorism. I'm looking for a partner with whom to drown my sorrows and you definitely look like someone who could use a drink."

Ray walked toward the table with drinks to pour them each one.

Felicity looked up, trying to stop crying. "I'm sorry. My mother... I didn't have anywhere else to go."

Ray turned to face her in concern. "You okay?"

Felicity put her glasses on, looking up at Ray. "You're an inventor. Did you ever create anything that you didn't think was important, turns out, it's very important?"

"Of course," Ray answered, walking closer. "Those turn out to be the best inventions."

"Not always," Felicity told him.

"You want to talk about it?" Ray asked.

Donna and Justin walked in.

Justin sighed. "Of course we'd find you here."

"Could you just wait one second?" Felicity asked.

"Wait?" Donna repeated. "I'm sorry, I've already waited two hours for you and Justin at your apartment, and before that, it was two hours in that club."

Justin looked at Ray, sighing. "Is there any way that you could be anywhere else but here?" Ray nodded, walking out. Justin stood, looking at Donna sarcastically. "Thanks, Mom. That wasn't the least bit mortifying. Only half as bad as parents' week in freshmen year."

"Oh, I'm sorry," Donna told them sarcastically. "I'm sorry I've been reduced to stalking my own children."

"Because you can't seem to comprehend that we can't make the whole world stop because you decided to show up in our city," Justin told her. "We have responsibilities."

"Yes, I know, Justin," Donna told him. "You have work, Felicity has work, work, work, work."

"No, no, no, you don't understand," Justin told her. "It is so much more than work. But all you care about is my love life. Or how much cleavage Felicity doesn't show."

Donna gave them a look. "That is not true."

"That is completely true," Justin argued. "And I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I didn't tell you about Skylar before. I'm sorry that Felicity's terminally single. I'm sorry we both have actual jobs. I'm sorry that we don't dress like porn stars. Which I realize is a compliment to you. So I am so sorry that we are such disappointments to you."

Donna looked like she realized that was actually what her children thought, that they were disappointments to her. "I'm not as smart as Felicity, and I'm not as strong or tough as you are, Justin, or your father. I know that. Even when you were kids, I could barely keep up with you three. And maybe I wasn't always the mother you wanted, but I was always there. I stayed and I tried. He--he left me. He left us. But when I look at you, all I see is what he gave you. There's nothing of me in either of you. You know, it's so funny. I was--I was always so afraid that one day, you were going to leave me, too. But now I finally realize, you already did."

Donna walked out. Justin and Felicity watched her go in regret, sighing heavily.

Verdant - Foundry

The others were still in the foundry.

"There are people on the other end of this thing, right?" Roy asked. "People we can hit?"

"We need Justin and Felicity," Oliver told them.

Justin and Felicity walked in.

"We're here," Justin told them.

Felicity sighed. "My super virus has 3407 traceable access nodes. Hopefully, I didn't put a firewall on every one, though." She sat at the computer. "Of course I did, because I'm smarter than that." The others exchanged a look. "Seriously, if I had two less IQ points, we never would have gotten in this mess."

"Are you two all right?" Jill asked. "Where's your mom?"

"I don't know," Justin told them. "Probably back at my place. Or Felicity's. Wishing she had a different daughter. A different son. It's a long story."

"So, go see her," Jill told them. "Take an hour."

"The city is under attack," Justin told them.

"You're our best chance of stopping it, but not like this," Amy told them. "Your heads are not in the game."

"We will get it together," Justin told them.

"Your tracer hack's running," Skylar told them. "Take an hour. Go talk to your mom."

"I do not have anything to say to her," Felicity told them.

"You know, earlier today, Thea told me and Oliver that she literally has to put up with us because family is precious," Skylar told them. "And that it's love, in spite of everything, that makes it precious."

"You know, I have to put up with Amy because family is precious," Jill told them.

"Thanks, Jill," Amy told her sarcastically.

Skylar and Oliver smiled small smiles in amusement.

Jill looked at Justin and Felicity. "Go."

Felicity looked at Skylar and Jill gratefully, looking at Oliver and Amy, nodding, walking away.

Skylar turned to Justin. "Go. We'll be here when you get back. And we'll be ready to kick some ass."

Justin chuckled a little.. Skylar smiled, kissing him sweetly for a moment comfortingly, pulling away. Justin smiled slightly, walking away.

Oliver and Jill smiled at the sight of them.

Skylar gave them a sarcastic look. "Told you guys that you always acted that around me and Justin, like I do with the two of you."

Oliver and Jill exchanged a look, chuckling in amusement.

➣

Justin's Apartment - Living Room

Felicity and Justin walked in to see Donna packing up her things.

"Where's Sara?" Justin asked.

"The nanny came to pick her up," Donna answered. "Said he was from a company called ARGUS. I don't know, I've never heard of it."

"I think that's the point," Justin told her. "Well, I'm glad you're still here."

They sat down.

Donna scoffed. "You are a terrible liar, Justin. Might be the only thing the three of us have in common."

"We all have blonde hair," Justin pointed out.

Donna smiled a little. "Felicity dyes hers."

Justin nodded. "You're right." He sighed. "We're different. And it's always going to be that way. And it's not easy."

"No, you know what?" Donna asked. "It's--it's totally my fault for just showing up here uninvited. Seriously, I think I just got so excited about this free flight."

"What?" Justin asked.

Donna took out her plane ticket to show them. "My plane ticket. I got an email that said I'd won some contest. Free first class round trip to Starling."

Justin and Felicity stood in realization. "Email?"

"Mom?" Justin asked. "Mom. Someone wanted you to be here."

Several men in black with masks kicked in the door with guns, making both Felicity and Donna start screaming.

Justin kicked Man 1 in the head, making him drop his gun, picking it up, using it to hit both him and Man 2 in the face, spinning to kick both guns out of their hands, backhand punching them in the faces, kicking them both in the stomach, punching them in the faces, knocking them out. Man 3 tried to lunge at Justin. Justin ducked, kicking him in the legs, making him fall to his knees, punching him in the face, flipping him to the floor, kicking him in the head hard enough to knock him out, but without severely hurting him. Justin grabbed Man 4, slamming him against the wall, hitting him in the head with his gun, kicking his head against the wall, knocking him out. Man 5 tried to punch Justin. Justin ducked, kneeing him in the stomach, headbutting his head against Man 5's face, making him hit his head against the wall, hitting the gun against his head, throwing him to the floor.

Justin turned to face the other men, ready to take them all on, obviously able to take them out.

Two smoke grenades were tossed in, making the three Smoaks gasp for air as they were unable to breathe, starting to pass out.

While starting to fall unconscious, Justin tried to push himself up. One of the guys kicked Justin hard in the chest to knock him back down, hurting his chest and heart, but without making his heart vessel burst.

Justin couldn't breathe, holding his chest in pain, fading into unconsciousness.

A couple more guys in black and masks helped the other men up, waking them up so that they could put hoods over Justin, Felicity and Donna's heads and drag them away.

Warehouse

Justin, Felicity and Donna woke up in a warehouse, tied to chairs.

Felicity and Donna were worried when Justin looked like he could have been having problems with his heart vessel, because he couldn't breathe well or move much, though he was slowly getting his strength back, not in danger of dying, just in very much pain because of the vessel.

"Baby?" Donna asked.

Felicity looked at Justin worriedly. "Justin, are you okay?"

Justin nodded barely. "I'm okay."

Donna and Felicity were unconvinced, knowing better, crying worriedly and desperately.

A man walked in with a hood over his head, speaking in a distorted voice. "Felicity and Justin Smoak, just the people I wanted to see."

"What the hell do you want?" Justin asked angrily. "Who are you?"

"You really don't know?" the man asked, stepping out of the shadows, pulling off the hood, turning off the voice disguise, revealing it was Cooper. "I thought you'd never forget your first love, Felicity."

They looked at him in shock.

➣➣

Justin looked at Cooper in confusion. "You died. Felicity said that they told her--"

"That I committed suicide, right?" Cooper finished. "The NSA needed a hacker with game for cyber espionage, and I needed to not be in prison for the rest of my life. Because of what the NSA wanted me doing, it was... advantageous for me to be dead."

Justin rolled his eyes. "When Felicity found out you died, she was devastated."

Felicity had tears in her eyes. "I loved you."

Cooper nodded. "I loved you, too. After I finished my time with the NSA, I was going to find you, to let you in on this. And then I discovered you'd become this corporate lapdog. That broke my heart. You changed."

Justin shook his head in disgust. "If you ever thought my sister was capable of doing something like this... You never really knew her at all."

"When you wrote this virus, Felicity, you knew exactly what it was capable of," Cooper told her. "All I'm doing is unleashing the true potential of what you made."

"Why?" Felicity asked desperately. "This isn't who you are."

Cooper stepped closer. "Five years with the NSA, you learn a lot about how the world works. How it can't be saved or salvaged. How it's every man for himself. Right, Justin?"

Justin scoffed, shaking his head. "Just because I'm a guy doesn't mean I have anything in common with you, Cooper. You don't look so much like a guy to me. You look like a creep. Can't really imagine whatever my sister saw in you. Right, Felicity? Or are you in too shock to see your ex-boyfriend become a monster?"

Cooper punched Justin in the chest, making Felicity and Donna gasp in worry and surprise. "You also learn that when a city bank goes under, say, financial cyber attack, the mayor will reach out to the treasury department and request an influx of fresh cash. Cash which is transported by armored trucks navigating according to a closed-end GPS system, which directs them to city deposit. If the drivers deviate from the route, the trucks are shut down." He looked at Felicity. "But you are going to hack into the system and direct the cash to come here."

Felicity glared at him. "It was about money, and I'm the sellout?"

Cooper shook his head. "No. No, babe. You're the one who's going to help me. See, breaking into the treasury's asymmetric encryption is beyond even my capabilities. And you see, Justin, I know all about your heart condition from Felicity all those years ago, but I also know about how well you can defend yourself and others, given what you did to defend your mother and sister from us in the apartment. Took smoke grenades just to take you down, when you took down our own men. I think we can supply work for you as well."

"We're going to politely decline," Justin told him. Cooper pulled out a gun, aiming it at Donna. "Don't!"

"That's why I flew some motivation into town for you," Cooper told them. "Justin Smoak, if you don't wanna take the job, we can always add you to the motivation for Felicity list, and keep knocking at your chest until that vessel bursts. Let's see how long you last then."

Justin and Felicity glared at him.

Verdant - Foundry

The others were talking.

"They've been MIA for over an hour," Oliver told them.

"Jill, Amy and Skylar did tell them to go home," Roy told them.

"I had an ARGUS agent pick up Sara," John told them. "I could have them go back. Check things out."

"Yeah," Amy told them.

John walked away to make the call. "Okay."

Skylar tried to call Justin, sighing worriedly when he didn't answer. "Justin's never more than five feet from his phone. Something's wrong."

Skylar sat down at the computers, typing.

"Skylar, what are you doing?" Jill asked. Skylar didn't answer right away, focusing on hacking something. "Sky. Sky, what... What are you doing?"

"Justin had cameras put into his apartment and Felicity's apartment so that we would know if something happened," Skylar explained. "Felicity taught me how to hack into those cameras in case something happened to them."

"So you're just gonna take a peak at what happened?" Roy asked.

"Pretty much," Skylar answered. "Yeah."

Skylar played the footage from Justin's apartment, allowing them to see that Justin took down the guards, and the smoke grenades had knocked him, Felicity and Donna out.

Jill and Oliver were trying to call Justin and Felicity.

"Well, gotta hand it to Justin," Roy told them. "Even with a heart condition, Justin's still badass."

Skylar, Oliver, Jill, Amy and John chuckled in agreement, though all of them were worried. "Yeah."

Skylar was mad when she saw that one of the guys that took them had kicked Justin in the chest when they had taken them. "Okay, I'm pissed. Now I'm ready to kick some ass." She stood, walking away to get suited up determinedly. "Where the hell are they so I can beat them down for trying to make Justin's vessel burst?"

Oliver, Jill, Amy, John and Roy exchanged a look, impressed and slightly amused by Skylar's reaction, but worried about Justin and Felicity and Donna.

Oliver, Jill and Amy walked away to get suited up as well.

Warehouse

The guys holding the Smoaks captive untied Felicity to bring her to the computers.

Cooper was holding Justin and Felicity's phones, which were ringing, tossing them down, stomping on them and breaking them. "That terminal's configured to only connect with the treasury's IP. I mention this so you don't try to do anything stupid, like alert the police."

"I'm so sorry," Donna told them.

"Mom, right now's not really the best time, okay?" Felicity asked.

"But it might be the last time, and I want you to know that all I've ever wanted is for both of you to be happy," Donna told them.

Justin, Felicity and Donna looked at each other sadly in worry. Justin was untying his ropes, but his chest was still throbbing.

"What say we hit pause on the 'Dr. Phil' episode?" Cooper asked.

"It's done, it's done," Felicity told them.

Cooper walked toward Felicity. "That quick?"

"There's a reason you wanted her, right?" Justin asked bitterly.

"They'll be at your front door in five minutes," Felicity told him.

Cooper nodded. "Guards will be armed." He ziptied Felicity to the desk, grabbing her chin, making her look at him. "Stay put, okay? Just because we used to screw doesn't mean I won't make your brother Justin's heart burst, or that I won't use this gun."

"All class, ass," Justin told him sarcastically. Cooper walked away. Justin heard a watch beeping. "What's that?"

"Oh, that, that's the watch," Donna answered. "It's the watch Mr. Palmer gave me. It chimes on the hour, and I guess when we're about to be killed."

Justin got an idea. "We're not going to be killed."

Felicity typed on the computer. "We're gonna get out of here. It basically replaces your computer."

"You know I don't know what that means," Donna told them.

"It means it has WiFi," Justin answered, getting free from his ropes when he was sure that no one was around, kneeling behind Donna's chair to use the watch to warn the others.

Donna smiled in relief.

Outside

Cooper led his guards outside. "When they're in range, you know what to do."

➣

Inside

Once Justin had done what he needed to do on the watch, he sat back in the chair, pretending to be still tied up because Cooper was walking back in.

"I did what you wanted," Felicity told him. "You don't have to kill us."

"Really?" Cooper asked, grabbing Felicity by the chin roughly. "Who would've thought that I'd become the grue?"

Cooper aimed his gun at Felicity.

"Hey!" Justin told him. "Hey. You wanna wave that gun at me, fine. But don't you dare threaten my sister."

"I'm a single mom who's worked 60-hour weeks in six inch heels for tips in order to raise these genius, strong children you see right there," Donna told him. "I mean, I don't understand all this cyber-whatever, but I know without that gun, without you kicking my boy in the chest and trying to get his heart vessel to burst, you wouldn't last 10 seconds against my kids."

Cooper walked toward Justin. "Too bad he doesn't have 10 seconds."

Cooper aimed the gun at Justin. Justin stood, using the ropes to catch the gun before he shot him, twisting the gun out of his reach. Seven guards ran closer to aim guns at Justin again.

Skylar/Athena crashed through the skylight with a bow claw on a wire, disguising her voice. "I disagree."

Skylar fired several arrows at the seven guards, making them drop the guns in their hands, kicking Man 1 in the head, punching him in the knee, making him fall to the ground, hitting his head against the concrete floor, knocking him out. Man 2 tried to attack Skylar from behind. Skylar ducked, spinning to face him, hitting him in the face with her bow, throwing him into Man 3, making them both fall. Man 3 and Man 4 tried to punch Skylar from either side. Skylar ducked both times, using her bow to shoot wires around them to restrain them, spinning around to kick them both down. Man 5 lunged at Skylar. Skylar ducked, spinning around to kick his feet out from underneath him, making him flip through the air and land hard on the ground, knocking him out, flipping up to a standing position, aiming her bow and arrow at the last two guards. The last two guards had their guns back, aiming at Skylar. Skylar wasn't afraid or even phased, still aiming at them, which made them hesitate on firing. Cooper also had his gun.

Oliver/Arrow and Jill/Sapphire walked closer, weapons raised.

Oliver disguised his voice. "Put the guns down."

"You were always good," Cooper told them. "So good. But so am I." Laser guns were aimed at Skylar, Oliver and Jill. "Motion-sensored. The can hit almost any target."

Oliver shot an arrow into a laser gun. Jill rolled them out of the way of being shot by another. She took out a crossbow claw, shooting it into the ceiling to pull herself up next to another gun, using a knife to cut through the wires and destroy it. Oliver shot an arrow into another gun to destroy it.

Skylar shot an arrow at one of the guards aiming his gun at her to make him drop the gun. Justin came up from behind the other guard to hit him over the head with another gun to make him fall unconscious before he could shoot Skylar. Skylar saw that the red laser lights were aiming at them, shooting a claw into the wall, swinging on the wire to swing toward Justin, grabbing him and pulling him out of the way of fire into safety, until Oliver and Jill were able to disable all the guns.

Cooper cut the ziptie that restrained Felicity to the desk, pulling her up. "Come on."

Outside

Outside, the two drivers of the truck that held the money pulled up to the warehouse.

NSA men aimed their weapons at the truck.

"Something's wrong," the driver told him.

The NSA started to fire.

Roy/Arsenal and Amy/Ruby came out of cover to deal with them.

Roy shot an arrow into a man's weapon to destroy it.

Amy used her Sai knives to spin around and deflect bullets, slashing into guards, making them fall, taking them out one by one.

The NSA fired back.

Roy shot a man in the shoulder with an arrow, making him fall.

Amy walked up behind two men, punching them both in the back, punching them in the faces, making them fall unconscious. "Clear."

➣

Inside

Inside, Skylar, Oliver and Jill had nearly taken out all of the guns, except for one, taking cover.

Oliver climbed up the scaffolding to get to the gun, shooting an arrow into it, destroying it.

Cooper was restraining Felicity, aiming a gun at her head. "This is all your fault."

Jill jumped over the desk behind Cooper, grabbing him by the arm that held the gun aimed to Felicity's head, twisting his arm back, making the shot fire at the ceiling. "No. I would say that it's yours. Dumbass."

Felicity elbowed Cooper in the stomach to make him let go, spinning out of the restraint.

Justin punched Cooper in the face, spinning to kick him head, making him fall unconscious.

Skylar used her arrows to cut Donna free.

Donna and Felicity ran to Justin's side.

"Justin, are you okay?" Donna asked.

"Just, are you..." Felicity trailed off.

Justin nodded in relief, sighing. "Yeah. I'm fine."

Felicity and Donna were crying in relief, embracing Justin. Skylar looked at Justin in relief, sighing. Justin knew how worried the three of them had been, nodding reassuringly.

Oliver and Jill looked at them in relief, looking at each other, nodding.

Day Two

Morning - Verdant - Foundry

Skylar, Felicity, Jill, Amy and Justin were talking.

"Amy, before, you were right to keep pressing on Cooper," Felicity told her. "Turns out he's not as dead as I thought."

"We've all had some experience with that," Jill told her. "And you learn not to judge."

Justin nodded. "Yes."

"Justin, are you okay?" Amy asked.

"I guess so," Justin answered. "Yeah, my sister's old lover may have tried to open up a heart wound, but we've all been reassured by Dr. Aurora Swan that no damage was done that couldn't be undone, thankfully, due to her impeccable medical expertise."

"She saved your life," Skylar told him. "For that alone, she's the coolest girl I know." She looked at Jill, Amy and Felicity. "Other than you three. And Jessica. And Laurel. Of course."

Jill and Amy chuckled. "Of course."

Jill took a deep breath. "Felicity... I want you to know that whatever experiences you had to go through, I'm glad that you did. They shaped the person you are today."

"At least your experiences didn't turn you into a killer," Amy told her. "I mean... I of all people... know."

"You may be an assassin of the League, Amy," Skylar told her. "But you're not a killer. You proved that when you let Malcolm Merlyn go."

Amy nodded in amusement. "You're starting to sound like Jill, Skylar."

"That's because I know what I'm talking about, Amy," Jill told her.

They chuckled.

"And you were right about another thing, too, Skylar," Justin told her. "We have to love our families. No matter what."

Skylar, Jill and Amy nodded.

Amy looked at Jill. "Unless your family is full of psychotic assassins."

Jill chuckled, nodding to herself. "Yeah. That's for sure."

Justin smiled, walking away.

Skylar followed him toward the stairs. "Justin, hey." Justin turned to face her. "I'm glad you're okay."

Justin smiled, nodding. "I'm okay. Skylar, I'll be fine, trust me. Aurora's got me on this medical thing where my heart's gonna be fine. Okay?"

Skylar nodded. "Okay. But I still worry about you, Just."

Justin chuckled, pulling her closer. "You wouldn't be you, if you didn't, Sky."

"I know you're gonna be okay," Skylar told him. "I just got scared yesterday... when I thought you were gonna die. I don't wanna lose you like that. I don't wanna lose you at all."

"You're not going to," Justin told her.

Justin and Skylar looked at each other, smiling small smiles, kissing for a long moment, pulling away, embracing.

Jill, Amy and Felicity were looking at them from further on, smiling slightly at the sight of them together, how happy they were to be with each other, and that they were both okay.

Flashback

Day - Cooper and Myron's Dorm Room

Myron walked into the dorm room, looking around. "Felicity. You here?" He looked at a bag on the bed. Felicity stepped out of the bathroom, in her attire from present time, office clothing, blonde hair and glasses, running a hand along her ponytail. "What happened to you?"

Felicity shrugged. "This is me now."

Felicity grabbed the bag, walking away.

Now

Day - Gym

Laurel walked into the gym to find that Jessica had just finished training with Ted, walking toward her. "You were right. I am being reckless and stupid. More so than you are right now, Jessica."

"Thanks, Laurel," Jessica told her sarcastically. "Don't sugarcoat it. Or anything." She sighed. "No offense taken."

Laurel gave her a look. "Jess."

Jessica sighed. "Sorry. You were saying?"

"Yes, I am angry," Laurel told her.

"I'm going to help you with that," Jessica told her. "When we were training, you were swinging at me... You were swinging for Sara's killer. That's a target you're never gonna hit. Don't train for that. Train for yourself. And I'm not gonna help you so that you can go out there and get yourself hurt. I'm gonna help you because you're pretty much blackmailing me to. And Amy. So that you don't get hurt. Just like you're blackmailing me into keeping the secret from Dad."

"I'm sorry, Jessie," Laurel told her.

"I don't want your apologies, Laurel," Jessica told her. "I just want to tell the truth. But you're not gonna let that happen because of Dad's condition. Because you think that it could send him to the hospital. So, yeah, I'm angry, too. I'm violent. And restless. And I need to take it out on something so that I don't explode. Just like you do. But we do this on my terms since we're doing everything else on yours." Laurel nodded. Jessica picked up two boxing gears. "So what's it gonna be? Huh? Blue or black?"

Laurel took the black one. "Black. Definitely black."

Thea's Loft - Living Room

(Song:) Lost - Kris Allen

Thea was unpacking, listening to music. She heard a knock on the door, walking toward it, opening it to find Oliver and Skylar outside with popcorn.

"It was popcorn, right?" Oliver asked. "You said you were meeting us halfway. This is us doing our part." Thea smiled, letting them in. Skylar and Oliver looked around. "Wow." The three siblings embraced. "We missed you, Speedy."

They pulled away.

"Let's not miss each other anymore," Thea suggested. "I mean, it was so much easier to be in each other's lives when we were underneath the same roof. So, why don't you move in with me? I mean, clearly, I have enough space. Ollie, you can even invite Jill to live with us again. Just like it used to be with her living with us after you guys got back from the island. Jill is like the other sister to Skylar and me, too. And I swear once the club starts making a profit, I will donate all of Malcolm's money to an earthquake relief charity thing."

Oliver and Skylar nodded.

"I can live with that," Oliver told them.

Skylar smiled. "Me, too."

Oliver tossed the popcorn to Thea. "Let's watch TV."

They sat down to watch TV, not knowing that Malcolm was watching them through the outside windows from a distance.

Queen Consolidated - Felicity's Office

Felicity, Justin and Donna were talking.

Donna was packed up and ready to go. "Well, I'm officially off. I mean, my flight doesn't leave till tonight, but I figured you'd both be working, so we can--we can just say goodbye now."

They embraced, pulling away.

Felicity sighed. "You were right."

"About what?" Donna asked.

"We haven't always been appreciative of you," Felicity answered. "You were always there for us every day, and night. So if we haven't said thank you enough..."

Felicity and Justin spoke together. "Thank you."

Donna smiled.

"But you were wrong, too," Justin told her. "When you said all you saw in either of us was Dad, that there was nothing of you in either of us. Well, I can't really explain it, but over the past two years, we have been through a lot. And we have learned that we are a lot tougher than we thought. And you said that I didn't get my toughness from you, but you were wrong about that. That, I get from you. We both do."

Donna looked so emotionally happy that she could cry, embracing them again.

"Don't cry," Felicity told her.

Ray walked in. "Felicity, I took another look at those cogeneration numbers. You want to..." They pulled away. "Oh, hi again."

The Smoaks spoke together. "Hi."

Ray looked at Donna. "How's that new smart wearable working out for you?

"Oh, um, it's, uh, it's a real life saver," Donna answered.

"Ray, I can't come into work today," Felicity told him. She gave a fake cough. "I am calling in sick."

Ray nodded in understanding, using air quotes, smiling. "'Feel better'."

Justin chuckled. "Thank you."

"See you later," Felicity told him.

They walked out together.

Donna was whispering to Felicity as the Smoaks left. "Yeah, you need to do something about him."
