The scene opens up with Keith, riding shotgun inside of a Humvee to look for IEDs as they were now in a desert environment. Where Kirito was is the back, with his M16A4 in hand after being taught by Keith himself. Asuna was beside him and currently, Sinon was on the turret of the Humvee while Yuuki was driving.

Yuuki: So why do always say that you're "Riding Shotgun"? 

Keith: *silence*

Yuuki: Keith, answer me.

Keith: *silence*

Yuuki: Will you just please spea-

Keith: Be quiet. I'm looking for damn IEDs. Improvised Explosives.

Yuuki: Smart...

In the second Humvee behind them, Nick was driving the Humvee while Lewis was next to him.

Lewis: Keith could smell any IED, the guy could be investigating one by now.

Agil, who was on the M2 Browning on the top of the Humvee, was currently scanning the buildings for any Laughing Coffin or LC Infantry. And then the Humvees abruptly stop.

Nick: What's the hold-up?

Keith: Spotted a pile of debris on the road. Could be an IED.

Nick: Copy that. He found what could be an IED.

Keith was seen patting Sinon's legs.

Sinon: What?

Keith: Shoot the pile of debris in front of us.

Sinon aimed the M2HB and fired as the debris exploded.

Keith: Dumbasses. They're trying to cosplay ISIS and the Taliban probably.

They moved on until an RPG is fired at them as Yuuki saw it and she didn't know what it was until Keith turned the steering wheel as Sinon saw the threat and fired the M2 at the LC Infantryman, and then more came out of the buildings, armed with AK-74Ms and AEK-971s. Firing at the Humvees as an M1A2 Abrams fired at the buildings as LC Infantry fired RPGs at the US Forces and the Players. The Players were unprepared as two were killed and four are injured.

Keith: Contact! 25 meters on the front left!

Keith fired his M27 IAR at the buildings where the LC Infantry are in as the Players who didn't expect this, were being killed and or wounded as Nick got out of his Humvee, alongside Lewis, Leafa, Alice and Klein. They were all in a fishbowl as Nick fired his M249E4 at the houses and buildings too.

Nick: Keith, go find us a way out!

Keith: Roger! KIRITO, ASUNA, ON ME! LET'S GO!

The two went with Keith as they entered an alleyway until LC Infantry had ambushed the three.

Keith: Jokers, by the windows!

Kirito: What!?

Asuna: Keith told me that's slang for Laughing Coffin soldiers! They're in the windows!

Kirito now understood thanks to what Asuna said as later on, Alice was with Nick, firing her M4A1 at the buildings as Yuuki reloaded her M16A4 until an RPG hits the Humvee they were taking cover on as Sinon was still on the 50. Cal and she got inside of the Humvee to avoid getting crushed as she got out and grabbed her M4A1 and fired at the buildings as Nick fired his M249E3 to keep the LC Infantry's heads down.

Nick: Keep their heads down!

NPC Marine: CONTACT, ON THE ROOF!

An NPC was killed as the Players were now firing their weapons at the buildings to try and stay alive.

Meanwhile...

Keith, Kirito, and Asuna were in an alleyway as they found a crashed US Army Black Hawk and found no survivors inside. Alongside an HK416 that had a M5B Red Dot Scope and a silencer, alongside an Angled Grip and a PEQ-15, with an M600V Tac-Light and there was also an HK417 with a Silencer too.

Keith: Poor bastards, these guys must've been Delta.

They heard gunfire as the three scanned the area with their Rifles until an LC Infantryman falls off a roof, and he was already dead before he even hit the ground when Keith checked. Then the LC Infantryman pulls out his MP443 Grach and shot Keith on the chest as Kirito turned the fire selector from Semi-Auto, to Burst-Fire. Where he unloaded 3 bursts of 5.56x45MM M855A1 Rounds as nine rounds had hit the LC Infantryman as Kirito checked on Keith and his Armor Plate Caught it. Then a player appeared, who chose the US Army and she noticed the LC Infantryman, already dead.

Player: Did you steal M's kill?

Keith: Nope. The dude forgot to check if his shot actually killed this guy or not. And who the hell's M?

LLENN: Oh... I guess you don't know him. He's Goushi Asougi. I'm Karen Kohiruimaki, call me LLENN.

(NOTE: LLENN resembled her real life appearance and has the same height in this story but her hair is brown like her GGO Avatar. And she plays as an Assault Trooper, which means she uses an M4A1 or an M16A4 as well.)

Keith: Sergeant Keith Christian. Who's your friend?

Fuka: Miyu Shinohara, call me as Fukaziroh!

(NOTE: Just like LLENN, Fuka resembles her real life appearance, and she plays as a Grenadier, because she has an M32A1 Grenade Launcher, or an M203A1 on her M4A1.)

Fuka: M, Pito, we're currently with three other players.

M: Got it. We'll be there soon.

(NOTE: He looks like his real life appearance and he has the same height, but he wears a US Army Uniform and wears an MPC Plate Carrier and an ECH Helmet, and he is a Sniper. And you already know that he uses a MK14 EBR)

Pito: Alright. Got it.

(NOTE: Pito's face actually resembles her real life appearance but she still has those markings, and she now plays as anAutomatic Rifleman n, wielding an M249E3 SAW or an M27 IAR with the heavier barrel, since Keith uses the short-barreled version.)

They arrived and then LC Infantry arrived.

Keith: Contact! Kirito, give me a defensive line on that vehicle!

Kirito fired one shot at the LC Infantry as Asuna took cover by an abandoned bus and LLENN fired her M4A1 in Full-Auto, but she noticed how Keith fired his M27 IAR in Semi-Auto, presumably to conserve his ammunition. Then Kirito fired the M203A4 on his M16A4 as when they kept moving, they found the way out, where it is located on a freeway as in a sniping position, M was firing his MK14 while Pito fired her M249-E3 at the LC Infantry as later on, they both got down and joined the convoy.

Nick: About damn time! We're already losing a ton of players in the convoy!

Nick fired his M249E3 at the buildings as LC Infantry were still firing at them and then they heard explosions from the front as they saw that Keith, Kirito, and Asuna had returned. With LLENN and Fuka alongside them.

Keith: Way out's through that destroyed freeway. Let's move guys.

They all rode the Humvees as when they left, one of the field commanders of Laughing Coffin came, looking at one of his dying men.

(Yes, it's Death Gun.)

Death Gun: The US Convoy is coming to the overpass. Set an Ambush. I want more of our people killing them all.

It now shifted to the convoy as now, LC Forces were pursuing them in captured Humvees as Keith, who was on one of the M-ATVs in the convoy, aimed the M2HB and he fires as the Humvees were not the Up-Armored Humvees, but were only the regular ones as the M2's 50. BMG Rounds just tore through the Humvee. Then one of the LC Infantry readied a captured FGM-148 Javelin as they aim at Keith's M-ATV as M, who saw this, said this to Pito.

M: TURN THAT GUN AROUND, NOW!

Pito fired the M2 and then the Humvee explodes when the 50. BMG Rounds hit the engine as later on, one of the Marines got out from the Hatch of a Humvee and aimed an M136 AT4 Rocket Launcher. Then he fires as it hit the freeway where it left the Convoy alone as the Marine got back on the M2 Browning on the Humvee but gets a shot to the head. Then the Convoy stopped as US Army M2 Bradley IFVs open fire on LC Infantrymen on the freeway, creating a massive Roadblock composed of tank traps and destroyed cars. Several Marines and Army Troops are killed, both Players and NPCs. Then Keith looked at M.

Keith: ASOUGI! GO LOOK FOR WAY TO TAKE THE ROADBLOCK DOWN! TAKE ONE OF THE MEMENTO MORI IDIOTS WITH YOU!

M: ROGER!

The two were running as they were now near a destroyed area as later on, M said this to Team MMTM Member Lax.

M: C'mon, help me out with this!

It then shifted to Lewis firing his M16A4 as he threw an M67 Frag Grenade and it explodes as he said this to LLENN and Sinon.

Lewis: SINON! GET YOUR ASS ON THE TOP OF THAT BUS!

Sinon: OORAH! LLENN, ON ME, LET'S GO!

LLENN fired her M4A1 in Semi-Auto as later on, Pito saw them going up on the bus. Then she got up as Pito came up with them. Then Nick fired his SAW at the LC Infantry, until he spotted one with a captured M32A1 Grenade Launcher. He fires as the LC Grenadier took cover.

Sinon: Cover, Cover! What the hell are you doing?

Pito: You girls need another gun.

LLENN just shrugs.

Sinon: In front, on the bridge! On the bridge!

The LC Grenadier fires at M and Lax as Keith saw the 40mm HE Grenade incoming.

Keith: INCOMING!

M was just halfway down until Lax falls off from the freeway as he falls onto M and Lax is killed in the fall. And M's fall was broken when he hit the hood of a car. He felt some pain on his back and neck. Then it shifted to LLENN, reloading her M4A1.

LLENN: Changing!

Sinon: NAIL THAT BASTARD WITH THE FORTY-MILL!

Pito fires her M27 as she kills the Grenadier.

Pito: WOO!

Sinon: Hell! You can take all the room you want!

Sinon comments on Pito's accuracy by unironically copying Will Rothaar's line in Battle: Los Angeles. Then later on, M cleared the Roadblock by rigging it with C4 as he blew it up and then it made a way down. The convoy moves on as M got back on the convoy as it had arrived at a suitable area for a base of operations as the LC Forces were retreating deeper into the city, and US Forces were finally getting a break.
