Bernards POV

I walk with her down the street, poor Anna she doesn't deserve this…but she does look like her father. What will I say to her? Hey by the way, I was sent by your father Scott Calvin to bring you to him and also he is Santa claus? No, she would just think I'm nuts. I look at her as she talks about how she just graduated high school, she has really pretty brown eyes, she also seems super kind…no stop that Bernard, you're here to help Santa reunite with his daughter and help her believe again, I mean why else would he tell me about her?

After she finishes I smile and say "so why don't you hang out with family for Christmas?" She looks at me and shakes her head "I don't have any family…my mom died when I was 3 and my dad…well I haven't seen him since I moved out" she says as she fakes a smile, I could tell she was lying but I didn't push her. We finally get to a small but nice looking house and she says "well here we are…thank you Bernard for walking me home" I look at her and smile "of course it's the least I can do"

Anna's POV

I smile and try to give him his jacket back but he shakes his head "no keep it, it's yours” he says. I smile and hold onto it “well thank you…” he nods and says “Merry Christmas Anna, see you around” he then walks off and i close the door.

As soon as its closed i sigh but when i hang the jacket up, i hear something jingle. I look confused but look in the pockets, in one pocket was a wrapped present with my name on it, I gasp. This has to be a coincidence right? I hold the small gift and inspect it a bit, but it was just weird. I put it back and head upstairs to change and head upstairs to change and head to bed. Maybe I'll see him again very soon.
