As I looked down feeling a bit sad, the guy scoots closer and smiles a bit "hey it's ok, you can talk about it if you want, I'm all ears" I look at him a bit and nod, I take a deep breath and let out a sigh "every year around Christmas my boyfriend and I would make it a tradition to go out for dinner and celebrate us and Christmas...well tonight he stood me up saying he had to stay late at work but the thing is, I know he had today off because his boss messaged me saying he hoped we had fun on our vacation...he lied to me and ditched me"

 I look down again with tears forming, I curse under my breath for crying. Soon I feel the man give me a side hug and I quickly look at him, he had a slight frown "I'm so sorry that happened" he says "how about I walk you home? You shouldn't have to sit here and wait" I stare into his brown eyes and smile a bit, I nod "um sure I'd actually love that" he smiles a bit and stands up, he offers me his hand and I grab it standing up. We start to walk and suddenly I hear "I'm Bernard by the way" I smile and link my arm with his "my name is Anna".
