Fell's POV.

I walked through Snowdin with my head down. My shift on my post just ended and I couldn't wait to get home. Mostly because my cute little boyfriend was waiting there for me.

Sans is the best thing that ever happened to me. He just appeared in my AU one day. I found him lying in the snow near my station a few months ago and I took him home with me. Every other monster would have A: leave him there and just continued walking, B: Taking him home to torture him or C: stayed there and watch him die. To be honest, I don't know why exactly I took him with me in the first place but now. . . I'm so happy I did. . . because that was the best decision I ever made.

He was unconscious for a few days after I found him. Of course, I hid him in my room the whole time because my bro. . . umm. . . I mean my boss wouldn't be so happy about me dragging home an unconscious stranger. When he finally woke up we got to know each other and even if he had to stay in my room, we had a lot of fun and over time I slowly fell in love. I wanted to say nothing at first but this feelings were crushing me and one day I just broke and kissed him straight on the teeth. Shock filled me on how good it felt but I was even more shocked when he kissed back.

And that was the beginning of an amazing relationship. I told Sans how cruel my AU was and that it would be best if he stayed. He said that he understood. . . but. . . I don't want him to be trapped in the same room forever. I want to take him to my favourite places. I don't want him to be trapped inside like a pet. I just hope that one day we can have a relationship with no one to tell us no. Until now, luckily no one found out but I know that it can't be like that forever. Here in the underground, being in love is a sign of weakness. If someone found out about Sans then they would kill me and then there would be no one to protect him if they wouldn't kill him straight away aswell. Don't get me wrong, I know that Sans can take care of himself but. . . this AU is literally made to kill and being cruel. It's so much different than his. I just feel like he wouldn't stand an hour in this place alone. . . Anyway. . .

I finally reached my house and I wanted nothing more in this moment than going straight to my room and showering my little boyfriend with attention. I entered almost expecting boss to yell at me for being lazy again and. . . I was right.

''SAAANS! COME HERE RIGHT THIS INSTANT! YOU HAVE SOME EXPLAINING TO DO!'' Ugh. . . This loud voice of his always gives me a headache. Either way I casually walked towards the kitchen, hoping whatever he needed again would be quick. Maybe it's just another complain about that sock. But as I arrived. . . I was met with a scene that I never wanted to see. . .

Boss stood there, proud and tall as always but he was holding. . . Sans by his hoody. My eyes widened. Boss must have found him in my room when I was gone.

''SANS! I FOUND THIS IN YOUR ROOM! DO YOU KNOW THIS PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A MONSTER?!'' My rage started to rise as he said those words. Sans isn't pathetic! But for Sans's and my safety I tried to keep my cool. Though I still pressed my teeth together to prevent myself from snapping.

''Jeez boss. Chil--'' I was caught off by him.

''NO I WILL NOT CHILL! THIS THING WAS INSIDE MY TERRITORY WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! HE'S CLEARLY JUST AS WEAK AS HE LOOKS LIKE! BETTER TO GET RID OF HIM!'' Those last three words hit me like a truck. He can't be serious!

''Boss, WAI--'' I was caught off again but this time not by my boss but. . . from Sans's earpiercing scream as a giant bone was pushed directly through his soul. Boss let him fall to the ground.

''WELL, I'M GOING TO UNDYNE AGAIN! BE USEFUL FOR ONCE AND CLEAN HIS DUST WHEN HE'S DEAD!'' And just like that he was gone but I didn't care. I was like in a trance of shock but I broke out of it when I heard the door slamming shut. I ran over to Sans and picked him up in my lap but I was very careful, to not hurt him more.

''Sans! Sweetheart! Are you ok? Wait, that's a dump question! Of course you're not ok! I have to help you somehow! But. . . But I. . . don't--'' I felt his finger touch my teeth to silence me.

''It's ok Fell.'' His voice was shaking and his eyes were half closed. I guess it was very hard for him to keep his eyes open. His body already started to dust and that only made me cry more because I knew that he would be dead in a matter of minutes or even seconds.

''NO! It's not ok! Don't die. . . -sob- p-please. . .'' But all my words were in vain as the weight of my lover disappeared. The only thing left in my hands were his dust and his blue jacket.

''NO! NONONONONO! SANS! COME BACK! SAAAAAAANS!''

I suddenly woke up, almost jumping out of bed. Hot tears were streaming down my face and I couldn't help but let more of them fall.

I looked over to my right, to see Sans still sleeping peacefully. My non-existent lips curved into a relieved smile as I pulled him into my lap carefully, trying not to wake him up. I held him close to me as I continued to sob.

Sans's POV.

I woke up to shaking underneath me. Lazily, I opened my eyes and I felt strong but shaking arms caressing my body. I knew who it was immediately but I was so confused about the shaking. But that question was answered as soon as I looked up.

Fell. . . My boyfriend had tears streaming down his face.

''Fell? What happened? Are you ok? Why are you crying?'' Fell looked at me. He didn't answer and just pulled me closer against his chest. I sighed, knowing that I wouldn't get my answer like this, so I hugged him back to comfort him.

We both sat there in the dark for a while until his sobbing calmed down and his tight grip on me loosened a bit. I slowly pulled away but not much, so we were still in each others arms.

''You want to talk about it?'' I said in a soft and quite tone. He took a deep breath before nodding.

''I-I had a nightmare. . . I. . . I came home, only to find my boss. . . holding you by the hoody. . . I- I c-couldn't do anything. . . I- -sob- I just watched as he. . . as he. . .'' He started to cry again as once again he pulled me close. I did so aswell as I understood the situation. He always was so worried about my safety. I know that his brother. . . isn't really the nicest monster alive. And Fell always feared that if his brother found me that he wouldn't be able to stand up to him.

''Fell. . . it's ok, it's alright. . . I know you're worried about me but there's no reason to be. Believe me, Papyrus will not find me unless I let him find me.'' I said in a kinda proud and cheerful tone, hoping to lighten the mood. And it worked. He chuckled a bit and that made me smile wider as I continued to speak.

''And even if he ever finds out about me, then we will deal with it together alright? We are a team, and we'll help each other, ok?'' He sniffed, while wiped the tears away.

''A-Alright. . . Thank you so much, sweetheart. . . I love you.'' He replied as he pulled me in a quick hug and then into a kiss. The kiss was filled with so much meaning and it lasted for a few minutes. After a while we pulled away.

''We should probably go back to sleep Fell.''

''Yeah. . . you're probably right'' His voice and expression held a slight nervousness but I already knew how to make him feel better.

''Wanna cuddle~?'' I asked with a smirk. He chuckled and laid down, so that I was leaning against his chest. We loved to cuddle like this. It just felt so great.

''Good night sweetheart, I love you~''

''I love you too~'' We gave each other another peck on the lips before cuddling once again. It didn't take long until we fell asleep. (pun intended, hehe).

Our breathing slowed down as one last thought went through my head before I began an dreamless slumber.

'Don't worry Fell. . . We'll figure something out. . . I promise'
