You smiled as you walked alongside the skeleton that you called your boyfriend. You were fully healed and could walk properly, which really made you happy. Now, you might be wondering “where are Sans and I going?”. Well kiddos, let me give you some information first.

It’s been a while since you and the monsters left the Underground. Toriel and Asgore finally got back together, leading to you, Melody, and Asriel to move in since you three were their children. The skele-family lived just down the block from you guys, which was very convenient. Oh, and there was a bunch of arguing on the Humans’ part with the whole “Monsters are real!” thing, but they calmed down. However, there are plenty of people who are a little racist to the monsters.

Life for you and your friends seemed perfect. You’re feelings seemed to not act up as much as they used to anymore, but they were still there. You just didn’t really need them as much as you did when you were in the Underground.

Anyway, back to you and Sans. You two were heading to a meeting that Apple had called. You and Sans knew that it was to announce to everyone who she really was, but you two weren’t going to say anything. The meeting wasn’t going to be very big, just Tori, Asgore, the skele-family, you and Mel that were invited. You didn’t think that Undyne or Alphys were really going to be invited since Apple doesn’t really know those two.

You and Sans quickly arrived at the meeting place, which was in the town hall. Thankfully, the Mayor loved Monsters, so she was more than willing to let us use this for this little meeting. As you two entered, you saw that Apple was there, talking to Tori and Asgore, who had gone ahead of you two. Tori saw you two and waved you over.

“Oh (y/n)! River Person was just telling us this hilarious story!” Tori stated. Asgor laughed softly and he put an arm around his wife. Apple told you two the story just as others started walking in. Once everyone was in, Apple started her meeting.

“Welcome friends! Thank you for joining me this beautiful day! First off, I would like to thank all of you. Whether you believe it or not, each and every one of you had a role in freeing us from the Underground, and for that, thank you. Now, I will keep this very short!” Apple explained.

As you listened in anticipation, you felt that there was something missing. You looked around and saw that Sans was nowhere to be found. You saw that a door that used to be closed was now slightly opened, so you walked towards it. You stretched out your hand to open the door, but your feelings told you not to. So, you did what you do best, eavesdrop.

“Come on Classic, we know you’re hiding someone~” A deep voice stated. It oddly sounded like Sans’s voice, but you knew it wasn’t Sans. You wondered why he called Sans “Classic”.

“So what if I am Red? It’s not like I’m actually hiding her! It just so happens she doesn’t appear anywhere else” Sans replied with a laugh. You heard the other one, presumably Red, chuckle slightly.

“Why aren’t you saying it Classic? Come on, say it out loud! Where else would she ‘appear’? Hmm? Or are you afraid that she’s listening to us?” Red asked. Sans stayed quiet. He knew you way too well. Red let out another laugh.

“You hear that sweet heart? He knows you’re here! And I’ll tell you exactly what he meant! This is the only MPFFF!” Red stated. You knew that Sans covered the other person’s mouth.

“Shut. Up.” Sans stated in a stirn voice. You could feel your feelings act up, telling you that you should leave, so you listened to it and quietly went back to the large group. You smiled along with the rest, talking with them about how Apple was “back”. You acted like nothing happened, just enjoying the little celebration before Sans came back. He put his arm on your waist, making you jump slightly and turn to him.

“There you are! Where were you, silly?~” You teased. Sans seemed to look relieved, but gave you a warm smile to cover it up.

“Just making sure there weren’t any monsters in the closet~” Sans winked. You let out a small giggle, knowing that he was a joke.

“Adorable. Well, go up and hug your mom! Paps is already all over her!” You stated. When you two looked, Papyrus was, in fact, hugging Apple, rubbing his skull against hers. Sans laughed a little and walked over.

“Come on bro, I thought I taught you how to share.” Sans laughed. Papyrus and Apple both opened their arms, pulling Sans in. You couldn’t help but smile at how adorable the family was. I mean, Gaster was on the floor, bawling his eyes out because of how happy he was.

The little meeting ended fairly quickly. Gaster and the skele-bros wanted to bring Apple home so that they could be a family again. You had no doubt that Papyrus was going to make spaghetti. The funny thing is, Melody has been giving both Paps and Undyne cooking lessons, so their food was starting to taste great. Besides, at least they didn’t burn anything anymore.

Sans walked you home, which was usual of him. As much as he loved his mother, he already knew for a while that she was still alive, so he wasn’t as excited as the rest. He was, however, really ecstatic to have her live with them. Once you got to the front of your house, Sans stopped you with a smile.

“You sure you don’t want to come over? Paps is gonna make spaghetti. Besides, Mel is coming!” Sans explained. You gave him a smile and shook your head.

“No, I think I’m good. Mom made a pretty big lunch and I ate a ton of it! I don’t think I’ll have enough room for spaghetti. Tell Paps that I’m sorry, ok?” You replied. Sans nodded and pulled you into a hug.

“Alright. I’ll text you then, ok Snowflake?” Sans asked. You couldn’t help but blush at the pet name. He has been calling you that for a while now, but still thought it was adorable.

“You better!” You giggled. Sans laughed and gave you a gentle kiss.

“See ya babe.” Sans stated. You nodded and waved goodbye as he walked away. You let out a little sigh before you went into the house. You walked up to your room and sat down in your little bowl chair. Your room was a large one, mainly because the Mayor wanted to give the king and queen of monsters a really nice house. You and Melody didn’t share a room, but they were right next to each other.

You grabbed your sketch pad and pencil. You may have your favorite skelly back, but you still loved drawing him, especially since you were still a great artist. You shot Sans a quick ‘hey babe’ text before opening your sketch pad. You flipped to a blank page. The only thing that was on your mind to draw was who you thought Red looked like.

Since he sounded a lot like Sans, you decided to start out by drawing a skeleton with San’s face. You felt that he was a little badass, so you drew a crack along his cheek. You gave him a bright red shirt with a leather jacket. Metal chains hung around his jacket. He had ripped up blue jeans with red thread along the seams. He wore combat boots that looked like it had a belt looped around them to make them look cooler. He had fingerless gloves that bikers would wear and spiked choker necklace that was a little too big for his neck since it was just bone. You also changed his teeth up to look more sharp, but obviously not naturally sharp. It was more like he sanded them down to look like that.

When you put the picture down, you grabbed your phone to see a few messages from Sans. When you read them, it started out nice and sweet before he started to get worried. You quickly texted him that you were alright and that you were just drawing.
