Chapter 15
"That's her, isn't it?"
Killia was eating in the cafeteria, extremely bored. The food wasn't anything fantastic, and the fact that she was sitting alone didn't help either. Everyone else was still asleep- Killia was an early riser. Everyone- minus the group of girls who had harassed Utari earlier.
What the hell did they want?
If she was about to get into trouble based on Utari's problems, she was going to have to talk to the purple haired girl later on how annoyed that made her. Instinctively, her left hand went to her sheathed katana.
"Y'know, Utari controlling you and making you wake up this early is a crime," The pinkette from before taunted. Killia had learned that her name was Lucy, and her two right hand friends were named Willow and Opal. Fittingly enough, Willow was dressed in green with brown hair, while Opal had bright purple hair. "Must be terrible."
"She's not controlling me," Killia responded, annoyed. "I like to wake up early. Got a problem with that?"
"Well, I think so," Lucy laughed. "No one should ever have to wake up this early."
"Sure."
"I've got a deal for you," Lucy told her, smirking. "I know you've killed outside of this place. Don't even try to pretend you weren't an assassin. If you kill your roommate, you can become one of us-"
Killia scoffed, cutting Lucy off.
"What's so funny?" Willow cut in, annoyed.
"Not sure why I would ever want to join you guys," Killia responded, standing up to leave. "I wouldn't want to kill Utari, either. So back the hell away from a confirmed assassin, or else you'll end up next on my list."

"So... wanna tell me what'cha can do?" Satsuki questioned Hikari and Luna eagerly. "I'm interested to know what your powers are!"
"You can see later," Luna told her. "Our fight is later today."
"Ooh! I'm so excited!"
"Y-you probably shouldn't be," Hikari shook her head in worry. "I don't think it'll be that great-"
"Oh, don't worry about it! I'm sure it'll be absolutely amazing!" Satsuki reassured her. "Besides, even if it isn't, we get to see both of you fight!"
"Yeah, I'm excited to know what other people's powers are," Scarlet agreed. "It'll be nice."
"Yeah, I guess so.." Hikari looked away nervously. "I don't want to disappoint you with how lame mine is, though."
"Ahah! Don't worry about it. You'll be great!"
"Hikari, I get that you're nervous," Tsuki smiled kindly. "But you're gonna do fine. We'll be here to cheer you on. All that matters is that you make it out alive."
"Thanks, Tsuki," Hikari cracked a small grin at her words. "You're really caring, thanks."
"Hah! Tsuki's a mom!" Scarlet laughed and pointed to the bluenette, who blushed. "Told you!"
"I am not a mom!" Tsuki argued. "Just because I'm here to cheer people on does not mean I'm a mom-"
"She is sorta mom like," Luna pondered. "I said I was hungry earlier, and she pulled out these oranges from her bag.."
"Oh my gosh!" Satsuki exclaimed excitedly. "She yelled at me because I was chewing with my mouth open earlier! Tsuki's a mom!!!"
"I am not a mom!" Tsuki flushed angrily. "No way!"

Killia and Utari sat in their cell quietly, each on their respective bed's. It was Killia who broke the silence, as usual.
"Someone told me I should kill you," Killia said casually, as if discussing the weather. Oddly enough, Utari didn't seem bothered. "That doesn't... worry you?"
"Why should it?" Utari questioned. "I can handle myself."
"I'm aware you can," Killia sighed. "We both can. My only concern is that they're going to come after you."
"Why are you worried about me?" Utari quipped. "Do you not believe me when I say I'm strong? I will crush my opponents with themselves."
"I know you can," Killia responded irritably. "The problem is that your power doesn't work against a lot of people. What are you going to do if a crowd comes after you?"
"I'll be fine," Utari dismissed. "I was trained in hand to hand combat, I'll be okay."
"What if they catch you off guard?" Killia pressed, not willing to give up so easily. "Look, I'm an assassin. You and I are not meant to deal with large crowds... for now. Until you get your power stronger, you can only control about four people at a time, right?"
"Yes," Utari warily agreed. "But I can fight, and so can you-"
"Of course we can," Killia sighed. "We wouldn't be alive if we couldn't. I'm just saying we'll have a better chance of staying alive if we're together."
"I appreciate your concern," Utari said genuinely. "But I think I'll be alright. If you need anything, tell me, okay?"
"Sure, sure," Killia replied, slightly annoyed. "See you around."
Hey everyone, hope you're enjoying.
