"So, everything good between you two now?" Tsuki questioned. "I didn't realize that me being around you was causing that much of a problem."

"Haha! Don't worry about it," Satsuki smiled. "How could you have known anyway?"

"I can read minds."

"You can!?" Satsuki gaped. "Oh my gosh, that's so co-"

"No, I can't," Tsuki grinned. "Got you!"

"Aww, I got excited," Satsuki pouted. "I never know, since we have all these crazy powers and stuff..."

"Hehe! It's just funny to tease you. Anyway, I heard there's some more new people coming today."

"There is?" Satsuki cocked her head. "Oh, yay! I can't wait to meet more people!"

"Let's just hope they're nice," Tsuki smiled. "By the way, are you alright from watching.. that boy die...?"

"Yeah...I'm fine," Satsuki smiled. "He didn't deserve death, though."

"I don't think anyone deserves death," Tsuki told her. "No matter what you do, I believe in redemption."

"If you believe in redemption, then I will too!" Satsuki grinned. "Let's go find Scarlet and Saiko! We gotta tell them there's more people coming!"

"Sounds good to me."

"Check em' out! Do any of them look cool to you?" Satsuki whispered. The group- consisting of herself, Saiko, Scarlet, and Tsuki- were spying on the new prisoners. There were quite a few more people than last time.

There was only one male compared to the six new females, making Tsuki frown in confusion.

"Satsuki, do you know why there's less men?"

"Hmm?" Satsuki thought about it. "Nope! I didn't even think about it."

"I know why," Saiko interjected. "It's a less common trait in men. Something about a sex-linked trait. The specifics will bore you, but let's just leave it at it's more common in women."

"Huh! That's cool," Satsuki smiled. She peered down, where a purple haired girl with her hair in a braid was talking to Rosalina, and from the looks of it, there was nothing friendly. "Uh oh. You don't think she'll hurt Rosalina, do you?"

"I doubt it," Saiko shrugged. "Her hands are cuffed. What's she gonna do?"

"True, true," Scarlet smirked. "Y'know, though, I wouldn't complain too much if she took her out."

"That's mean," Satsuki shot Scarlet a look. "You shouldn't say those things!"

"My bad, my bad," Scarlet shrugged. "Sorry."

"Good." Satsuki crossed her arms, not going to let anyone talk smack about her 'parents'. "So, whats new?"

The purple haired female was shoved roughly into her cell. She huffed, yelling back at the platinum blonde.

"How would you like to be stuck in here!"

"I'm just trying to help you!" Rosalina called back, shutting the door and locking it.

The girl growled in annoyance.

"You... ugh!"

"Calm down."

The female turned around to see a black haired, red eyed girl. she had a white outfit with red outlines on it.

"Raging isn't going to get us anywhere."

"And who are you to say so? You're stuck here the same way I am, aren't you?"

"Of course I am," The girl scoffed. "My name's Killia. There's no way out. It's a waste of your energy to yell."

"Shut up. I'm going to get out of here."

"Stuck in your cuffs like that?" Killia scoffed. "Good luck."

"I don't need your luck."

"I'm sure you don't. Tell me that when you're dead. I'll just be laughing at you when that happens."

"Shut up. I'm stronger than you."

"Maybe you are," Killia shrugged. "Maybe you are. But I'll stay alive, making the right choices, unlike you."

"Hah. As if."

The two already seemed like they were getting along just fine.

I went from not wanting to write this book at all to updating pretty decently. Go me.
